33 years ago Star King Kirito and Star Queen Asuna ruled the Human Empire. In the 33 years they were gone, the taboo index was abolished, and Higa never copied Kirito. One of the empires, the Wesdarath Empire is now being led by a militarist leader who has ambitions to unite the human empire under the Wesdarath's rule. Follow Rulid 1, a fighter pilot in the Norlangarth Air Force

Briefing

Rulid 1

"Attention all aircraft!" The briefing officer shouts. A big map of centoria is shown filled with 24 allied aircraft in green triangles in North Centoria, and 94 enemy aircraft in red triangles.

"Our part of centoria is being attacked by unknown aircraft." The map now shows 2 images, the central cathedral, and some houses.

"All pilots, scramble and intercept all threats immediately!"

The briefing ends.

Centoria Air Force Base

2 F15J Fighters taxi to runway 09R. Both are from the 1st Air Division 6th Fighter Squadron "Rulid".

Both of them do pre-flight checks as they prepare for takeoff. 'Rulid 1, Rulid 2, you are cleared for takeoff'. The ATC says. 'Rulid 1, Rulid 2, liftoff'. The ATC says as the 2 FI5J Fighters takeoff full afterburner. 'Rulid 3, Rulid 4, runway clearance granted'. Takeoff when ready. The ATC says.

'All aircraft under airborne command's jurisdiction following take off. This is not a drill! I repeat, this is not a drill!' Says the Airborne Warning And Control System. 'Airborne Warning And Control System Sanctus oculus (which in English is Ghost Eye... i think) to all scrambling defense craft. The situation hasn't been ascertained, we must implement an emergency reformation. Follow your individual instructions.'

'Rulid 1, Rulid 2, wait for the other 2 Rulid's to take off and regroup with them before engaging' AWACS Sanctus oculus says.

'Hey Selmburg, Lindarth, can you two takeoff? We are missing out on the fun here!' A masculine voice that belongs to Rulid 2 says.

'We'll take our time down here. Don't want you stealing our kills, Tolbana.' A masculine voice belonging to Rulid 3 "Selmburg" says.

'I don't care if Tolbana steals our kills, they're attacking Centoria! We need to get to the skies ASAP.' A masculine voice belonging to Rulid 4 "Lindarth" says.

'Come on Lindarth, get the stick out of your butt. Rulid 2' "Tolbana" says.

'Zakkaria, Tolbana, we are taking off now.' Rulid 4 "Lindarth" says.

'Rulid 3, Rulid 4 liftoff.' The ATC says.

'Rulid 3, Rulid 4 regroup with Rulid 1 and 2 before engaging.' AWACS Sanctus oculus says.

'Copy that GhostEye.' Rulid 3 says.

'Zakkaria, let's do this!' Rulid 2 "Tolbana" says. He is clearly excited for his first taste of combat.

Rulid 3 and Rulid 4 arrive and Rulid squadron forms up into a finger four formation. One by one multiple other squadrons who were forming up in the air engage. First one to engage is the 1st Air Division's 1st Fighter Squadron "Integrity" it is an elite formation of integrity knights, they fly the F15J. Next is the 1st Air Division's 4th Fighter Squadron "Blue Rose" they fly the F2-A with a distinctive blue livery. And last is the 1st Air Division's 3rd Fighter Squadron "Varangian" they fly the F15E.

'Rulid Squadron, you are authorized to engage any aircraft above Centoria.' AWACS Sanctus oculus says.

'Roger that.' Rulid 2, 3, and 4 all say as they receive authorization.

'May the Star King and Star Queen smile upon us!' Rulid 2 "Tolbana" says as Rulid Squadron dives to engage the unknown aircraft.

'Sanctus oculus (or should i refer to him as GhostEye?) To Rulid 1 "Zakkaria", Rulid 2 "Tolbana, Rulid 3 "Selmburg", and Rulid 4 "Lindarth".' AWACS Sanctus Oculus says. Meanwhile, Rulid 1 finds a F16C flying towards him at 12 o'clock. He locks on with his missiles and fires 1, destroying the F16C and claiming his first kill.

'We are currently in a state of emergency, our empire is being attacked by unknown aircraft. Do whatever you can to fend off the invaders.' AWACS Sanctus oculus says. 5 C17 Transport Planes, 9 B52 Bombers, and 6 AH-64 Apache helicopters get marked as TGT's (targets) by Sanctus oculus.

'Hey Zakkaria, Tolbana, you guys shoot down the bombers. We will assist "Intergrity" and "Blue Rose" squadrons.' Rulid 3 "Selmburg" says. Rulid 1 spots a combat wing of 4 F16C's flying in a finger four formation at 12 0'clock coming at him and Tolbana. He fires 1 missile each at the far right and far left F16C's while Rulid 2 "Tolbana" splashes the other two.

'Roger that Selmburg.' Rulid 2 "Tolbana" says. As he and Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" engage in a dogfight against 2 F14D Fighters.

'This is Yujio, commander of the 4th Squadron. The enemy is expanding its field of attack. Stay alert!' A masculine voice that belongs to Blue Rose 1 "Yujio" says. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" gets the upper hand against the F14D and destroys it with 2 missiles. He then gets behind the F14D trying to attack Rulid 2 "Tolbana" and shoots it down with his 20mm gun.

'Focus all anti-aircraft fire on those bombers. Dont let 'em get any closer!' An anti aircraft battery commander orders. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" and Rulid 2 "Tolbana" find a group of 3 B52 Bombers flying in a formation (i dont know the name of it, but its like 1 bomber in the center and 1 to the left and right) and 2 AH-64 Apache helicopters near the border to the west side of Centoria (at his 1 o'clock) . Rulid 1 switches to his special weapons Quick Manuever Air to Air Missiles or QAAM's and fires one at the B-52 in the middle of the 3 B-52 formation and one at the left, the closest one to him. Both B-52's gets destroyed as Rulid 2 "Tolbana" splashes the final one. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" quickly turns back to kill the 2 AH-64 Apache's that were now on his 8 o'clock bombarding a tank platoon. He switches to normal missiles and fires 1 to each of the Apaches and splashes them. He turns right as he prepares to attack the next TGT, 2 C17 transports dropping tanks and paratroopers at his 11 o'clock. 'Please be safe.' Rulid 4 "Lindarth" mutters.

'We've got a positive I.D on the invaders. We are engaged with the Wesdarath military.' AWACS Sanctus oculus says. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" Approaches the transports and fires 1 missile at each, but it doesn't destroy both of them. He quickly turns his aircraft around and fires 1 at each, destroying them. He looks at his radar and turns to 9 o'clock and finds 2 AH-64 Apaches to his 11 o'clock the closest to him and Tolbana, 3 B24 bombers to his 12 o'clock, and 1 C17 Transport plane to his 1 o'clock the farthest to him and Tolbana.

'The Wesdaraths?!' Blue Rose 1 says. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" approaches the 2 AH-64 Apaches full afterburner. He fires 1 missile at each and they both get destroyed Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" and Rulid 2 "Tolbana" turns to 1 o'clock to engage the enemy bombers.

'How dare they point the weapons we use to defend ourselves from the dark territories, against us!' A feminine voice belonging to Integrity 1 "Stica" says as she splashes an F16C with her missiles. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" and Rulid 2 "Tolbana" approach the group of 3 enemy bombers full afterburner. Once again, Rulid 1 switches to special weapons and fires a QAAM at the closest and the one in the middle of the formation, while Rulid 2 takes out the last one with 2 missiles they then turn to 2 o'clock to engage the Wesdarath transport. Lets keep this up Zakkaria! Rulid 2 "Tolbana" says after getting his 4th kill of the day.

'The wall is starting to disappear! Prepare to engage!' A Norlangarth tank commander says. Seconds later the immortal wall dissapears, a whole Wesdarath army is revealed as they begin to move. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" approaches the C17 at full afterburner. He fires 2 regular missiles and its killed he and Rulid 2 "Tolbana" turn to 10 o'clock to engage the final 3 B52's, 2 AH-64 Apaches and 2 C-17's. 'Fire!' The Norlangarth tank commander orders, his tank a Mitsubishi Type 10 fires a Type 10 APFSDS at a Mitsubishi Type 90 MBT belonging to Wesdarath, it scores direct hit on the lower glacis and the tank is disabled.

'This is Selmburg, Lindarth and i will go assist the ground troops.' Rulid 3 "Selmburg" says as he and Lindarth dive to engage the enemy tanks and apcs. 'Enemy threat level has decreased. You should be able to hold out against them.' AWACS Sanctus oculus praises everyone's good work. From the 94 planes that were in the briefing most of them are killed.

'Lets see... i've bagged about 4 of them now, how many have you got so far Selmburg?' Rulid 2 "Tolbana" asks. '4 F16's and 2 F-2A's. Looks like im ahead.' Rulid 3 "Selmburg" says. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" and Rulid 2 "Selmburg" approach the closest group to them, 3 B52 Bombers in the formation i forgot whats called full afterburner. Rulid 2 "Tolbana" attacks first instead of Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" to let him get atleast 2 of the bombers to add to his kill tally, Rulid 2 "Tolbana" switches to his special weapons and fires 1 on the left and 1 at the center B52 while Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" splashes the last one with 2 regular missiles. 'That makes it 6! Were equal now Selmburg! Thanks for giving me the kills Zakkaria.' Rulid 2 "Tolbana" exclaims as he and Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" turn to 1 o'clock to engage 2 C17 Transports dropping tanks and paratroopers near Centoria AFB.

'So those bastards think they can barge into a house without even knocking first?!' A feminine voice belonging to Blue Rose 2 "Shtolienen" says. 'Unbelievable! I say we teach 'em a few manners before kicking them out.' Integrity 2 "Laura" says. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" and Rulid 2 "Tolbana" approach the 2 C17's at full afterburner. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" fires his 2 missiles at the C17 closest to him while Rulid 2 "Tolbana" does the same with the other C17. They quickly turn around and head back to the city, where only 2 more TGT's marked by AWACS Sanctus oculus remain.

Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" and Rulid 2 "Tolbana" approaches the 2 AH-64 Apaches. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" fires 1 normal missile at each and they both explode.

'The Wesdarath threat level is even lower now. Drive them out of Centoria!' AWACS Sanctus oculus says.

A large aircraft moves across the clouds. Its long wings tearing them apart.

'Aris to all aircraft operating in the north. We have just finished operations in the east. We are prepared to launch.' A radio officer from the giant aircraft "Aris" says. (Its basically an Aigaion class Heavy Command Cruiser)

'Copy that Aris! We need the help here.' A Wesdarath Pilot says.

'Attention all aircraft. We are prepared for Solus launch. Beginning countdown.' The radio officer from "Aris" says.

'Booster Ignition complete. Launch in, 5

1. Fire!' dozens of Solus missiles launch from the "Aris" and head to North Centoria.

Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" and Rulid 2 "Tolbana" circle around the area where they had just shot down the 2 AH-64 Apaches. 'Hey Zakkaria, we're aces now! Cant you believe it?!' Rulid 2 "Tolbana" says full of energy.

'What's this...' AWACS Sanctus oculus mutters. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" and Rulid 2 "Tolbana" HUDs turn red while the radar detects long green objects heading towards them before exploding into an orange circle. 'Missiles?!' AWACS Sanctus oculus exclaims. Both of them break formation full afterburner and witness an impact just to their right. 'That was too close for comfort.' Rulid 2 "Tolbana" says.

'Number 3, Your radio's down! Number 3, where are you?!' A Norlangarth pilot says. As Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" and Rulid 2 "Tolbana" make their way to district 1 full afterburner, they both barely dodge a missile that explodes to their left. 'Hey Lindarth, you alright?' Rulid 3 "Selmburg" asks. 'Im fine.' Rulid 4 "Lindarth" responds.

'Multiple cruise missiles just detonated midair! The second wing has been reduced to 1 plane!' a masculine voice belonging to Varangian 1 "Rurik" says. 'What the hell was that?! Where are they coming from?!' Integrity 1 "Stica" says. 'These are no ordinary cruise missiles... Evade like hell is you want to get out of this alive!' Blue Rose 1 "Yujio" says. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" and Rulid 2 "Tolbana" barely dodge another missile.

-Hey im on your side! Isn't your IFF working?!' a Norlangarth pilot says. After dodging a ton of missiles Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" and Rulid 2 "Tolbana" finally reach district 1, where the fighting is thickest. They engage in a dogfight against 4 F16C's while dodging cruise missiles.

'The enemy has breached sector B4!' A Norlangarth tank commander near the border with the West says. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" gets the upper hand one of the F16C's he engaged in a dogfight and shoots it down with a missile. Rulid 2 "Tolbana" applies his airbrakes and lets the F16C overspeed, and takes it out with his 20mm gun. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" evades a cruise missile while the F16C behind him gets destroyed by it.

'Sanctus oculus to all planes, air defense command has ordered an evacuation. You've been ordered to give up Centoria. Break away from this airspace and head north.' AWACS Sanctus oculus says as Rulid 2 "Tolbana" shoots down the F16C he was dogfighting. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" dogfights an F14D.

'Are you out of your mind?! We cant comply with that order!' Blue Rose 1 "Yujio" says. 'We are militarily at a huge disadvantage. Comply with the order and head north.' AWACS Sanctus oculus says. 'This is Stica. We're not going anywhere.' Integrity 1 "Stica" says. Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" evades another cruise missile as he shoots down the super tomcat with 2 of his missiles.

'Listen! Its only temporary. The plan is to withdraw and meet up with all remaining forces from each area, then regroup for a counter-attack. We can't afford to lose you, follow the order.' AWACS Sanctus oculus explains. 'Rulid 2 to Rulid 1, we really should get out of here.' Rulid 2 "Tolbana" says as he and Rulid 1 "Zakkaria" turn to 4 o'clock to leave the airspace. 'Hey, dont forget about us Tolbana!' Rulid 3 "Selmburg" says as he and Rulid 4 "Lindarth" join Rulid 2 "Tolbana" and Rulid 1 "Zakkaria". Rulid squadron forms up into a finger four formation as they retreat north. Integrity, Blue Rose, and Varangian squadrons all do the same and flee north.

'Rulid Squadron you are about to leave the combat zone. Maintain your course north to exit the airspace.' AWACS Sanctus oculus says. Rulid squadron crosses the border of the combat zone and exits it. 'Rulid squadron, you've made it out of the combat zone. Head to the rendezvous point.' AWACS Sanctus oculus says as Rulid Squadron crosses the combat zone border.

'I promise we'll be back for you. Just a little longer.' Rulid 4 "Lindarth" says.

'Cheer up, Lindarth.' Rulid 3 "Selmburg" says.

'Keep your spirits up. We'll get back to Centoria soon.' Rulid 2 "Tolbana" says.

Rulid 1 "Zakkaria"

"Our military has escaped destruction because of your valian efforts on the battlefield." The briefing officer says.

"But our capital, Centoria has been fully occupied by Wesdarath forces."

"The Wesdarath Empire defected from the Human Empire and attacked all 3 other empires. While they simultaneously launched a suprise attack on Centoria."

"Once our intel has been sorted and confirmed the Norlangarth North Empire, Eastabarieth Empire, and Southacroith Empire will launch a simultaneous counter attack against the Wesdarath Empire"

"The beautiful lands of the north belong to us and only us. The Norlangarthian people."

Hello everyone! I am quite new to writing so i would appreciate feedback on my writing. So this is inspired by Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. There are a lot of copy pasted radio messages here but i hope ill get more original as the chapters add up.

The left and right arrows don't work so idk what to use in its place, its what i use to know if their saying it on radio oe not. For now it will be '.

Feel free to inform me about any spelling errors in the story.
