So I made this story as a request from MasterClass60. They said that they liked my other stories, so they asked me to make this story for them. I like doing romance stories as much as I like doing other stories. I don't own any characters except my OC. Aggie belongs to I.M. Rally. McJagger belongs to MasterClass60.
Nikita and Aggie were walking through Trollstopia together on their way to the beach. They were heading there to meet up with their other friends. They spotted Laguna reading a book under a huge leaf on a gigantic tree. She loved reading books very much which is why she's so smart.
"Hey, Laguna. What're you up to?" Nikita asked. "Hello there, I'm just reading about troll science." Laguna said. "That sounds interesting." Aggie said. "Indeed, it is." Laguna said.
Since she is an an-troll-pologist, she has been doing lots of research and studies in and around Trollstopia. It was Laguna's job to take in as much research as possible so as to preserve them for future studies by other trolls.
"So where are you both off to?" She asked. "We're heading down to the beach to meet up with Poppy and the others." Aggie said. "Yup. We're going to be having a beach day." Nikita said. "That sounds exciting." Laguna said.
Nikita and Aggie wanted to invite Laguna to come with them to the beach, especially since McJagger was going to be there.
"Say, Laguna. Do you want to come with us to the beach?" Nikita asked. "Go to the beach? I'm not really so sure." Laguna said. "It'll be fun." Aggie said.
But Laguna didn't seem interested in going to the beach today, she wanted to stay home and do more reading. She wasn't exactly the fun type of troll as she prefers to do research than play games.
"G'day, mates. What's crack'n?" A familiar voice asked.
Suddenly, Laguna's face turned red as she stood frozen in place. Nikita and Aggie knew exactly who it was: it was McJagger himself. He had some swim gear on and other stuff for swimming. It was very clear to the girls that McJagger was also heading to the beach as well.
"What y'all are up to?" He asked. "Hello. Are you heading to the beach too?" Aggie asked. "Yup. I'm going to get my swim on." McJagger said. "Well. We were heading down to the beach as well." Nikita said, nudging Laguna.
She got out of her frozen state, but was still blushing. She knew her friends were urging her to talk to her crush, but she was too nervous to speak to him.
"Oh! Uh...yeah. We were all heading to the beach to have some fun." Laguna said. "Fantastic. I'll meet you all there." McJagger said.
As soon as he left, Laguna began to breathe heavily into a paper bag. She had just spoken to her crush for the first time in over a month.
"Oh, my! I don't think I can go to the beach with McJagger around!" She exclaimed. "You can do this, Laguna. We know you can." Aggie said. "That's right, and we'll be here to support you." Nikita said. "Thanks, girls. I really needed that." Laguna said.
The three girls headed down to the lake where Poppy and her friends were setting up their picnic area. All the trolls of Trollstopia were at the beach having a wonderful time enjoying the water.
"Looks like everyone had the same idea." Laguna said. "Look! There's Poppy with the others." Aggie said. "Looks like they got the picnic site ready, now let's go join them." Nikita said.
They went down to the picnic site where Poppy waved at them, having been expecting them. She was glad that they decided to join them at the beach so they could have a beach day together.
"Hey, guys! I'm so glad you're all here." Poppy said. "Yup, and look who decided to join us." Aggie said, wrapping her arm around Laguna. "Laguna! So glad you decided to come." Poppy said. "Yup! I chose to come to the beach today." Laguna said, still feeling a little anxious.
She looked around the lake for any sign of McJagger, but she couldn't see him anywhere. She wondered if he was on the other side of the lake or something, but she wasn't sure.
"Have any of you seen McJagger around?" Nikita asked. "Nope. We haven't seen him. Haven't we, Mr. Dinkles?" Biggie asked his pet. "Mew." Mr. Dinkles said.
Suddenly, they all heard a loud noise coming from the water. It turned out to be McJagger riding on his surfboard. He was surfing the waves in the lake and he was really good at it. Everyone cheered for McJagger as he arrived on the shore of the beach.
"G'day, mates. How's my favorite group of trolls doing?" He asked. "Great now that you're here." Cooper said. "Greetings, McJagger." Laguna said, blushing. "Hey there, Laguna." McJagger said.
Nikita and Aggie both knew that this was the right moment to bring Laguna and McJagger together.
"Say, McJagger. Did you know that Laguna has excellent knowledge about surfing?" Nikita told him. "You don't say. Is this true, mate?" McJagger asked. "Well actually, I have been reading a lot of books about surfing and other sports as well." Laguna said. "Well then, what'd say you join me out in the water and I could show you some moves?" McJagger asked.
Laguna was thrilled but anxious: was she about to go on an actual date with her love interest? She wanted to scream with joy, but she couldn't because she didn't want to embarrass herself.
"Sure! I mean...if it's okay with my friends." Laguna said. "Laguna, I'd love for you to go surfing with McJagger." Poppy said. "Yeah. Besides, we'll be right here to cheer you on." Nikita said. "Okay then, let's go." Laguna said.
She swam next to McJagger on his surfboard into deeper water. Once there, McJagger sat up on his board to get a better view of the water. Laguna watched as the Funk troll surveyed the area with great awe.
"This area is perfect for our practice run. What do you think, Laguna?" McJagger asked. "Oh! Um, indeed. This area has the capacity to produce more waves in the lake." Laguna said.
They both watched the waves flow through them, hoping that one of them would be big enough to surf on. Laguna decided to take this chance to talk to McJagger for once.
"So, McJagger. I've read a whole lot about surfing. Did you know that surfing has been around for hundreds of years?" She asked. "No, I did not know that. You've been doing your homework, mate." McJagger said. "Oh, well...thanks." Laguna said, blushing.
Suddenly, McJagger gazed into the distance and spotted a huge wave approaching them.
"Look out, Laguna! It's a big one!" He shouted. "Oh my goodness!" Laguna cried out.
As the wave struck them, Laguna dived underwater to escape the brunt of the wave. But McJagger stayed strong and held onto his board with sheer willpower. Soon he started surfing under the wave and straight through its hole with Laguna following behind as well. The two trolls worked together to ride the wave and avoid being knocked over and drowning. Laguna never thought that she'd be experiencing the joys of surfing until now. She was actually enjoying the sport.
"We did it, mate! We made it out of the wave!" McJagger exclaimed. "Yeah! I can't believe I actually went surfing. It's so amazing!" Laguna exclaimed.
Back on the beach, everyone was cheering for the two trolls as they headed near the shore.
"That was so awesome!" Nikita shouted. "You did it, Laguna! You went surfing with McJagger." Aggie said. "Thanks. But I couldn't have done it without you guys." Laguna said. "I'm real proud of you, mate. You truly have the gift of surfing." McJagger said.
Touched by his compliment, Laguna worked up the courage to finally kiss McJagger in the cheek. He paused and blushed, having received a kiss from the girl he likes.
"Why thanks, Laguna." McJagger said. "No, thank you for teaching me how to surf." Laguna said.
