Chapter 2

**Author's Notes: Well, Chapter 2 is here. I'm not gonna be uploading Chapter 1 until I get at least 10-15 chapters ahead. I almost did a Canon Recap, but decided against it in this chapter. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

At the time of the publishing of this chapter, I am currently in the middle of writing more of the next chapter to The Fox and His Flowers, but I decided to go ahead with this chapter before I continue. Just remember that I won't be able to work on this nearly as much as I used to due to work (I know I keep mentioning it, but it does take a decent amount of time out of my day.) With that said, let's get into Chapter 2!**

"Jiji?"

Hiruzen and Naruko went wide-eyed. This stranger just called the Hokage the same name as what Naruko did… 'I suppose I should ask his name first… that way we can see just how similar they are…' Hiruzen thought.

"Excuse me, but what is your name?" he asked. The boy looked puzzled before recognition reigned his eyes. "Ah, my name is Naruto. Naruto Uzumaki." With that, Naruko fainted. "Uh… is she alright?"

The Hokage chuckled. "Yes, she's quite alright. Now, Naruto was it? I need to know why you have a Konoha headband, seeming to have a form of Kyuubi sealed inside of you, and why you showed up as a beam of light in the first place." Hiruzen bombarded with requests, but it was to be expected.

'Kurama, you there?' Naruto asked.

"It looked like it's a success, and we are still united as one, so that's a big plus. You still will get access to KCM, but I'm stuck behind this seal, and it'll need to be reopened.

'Do you think I should tell him everything about what happened in the past? After all, how do I explain that I have a second Kyuubi, look exactly like my counterpart, just as a male instead, and that I have an incredibly similar name to her?' He asked his friend.

"Honestly, he should know, and he should already know that any action can change the future. We are already changing the future just by being here." Kurama finished, to which Naruto nodded.

"I'll answer any questions, but anything I say should be classed as an S or Ex-Class secret. This is things that should never really be discussed." Hiruzen became a bit skeptical, but nodded nonetheless. "To be frank with you, I used a technique that is similar to Time Travel, but at the same time isn't time travel. My body changes back to the time in which I was supposed to go to, BUT because time travel cannot actually happen in long periods of time, I had to go to an alternate dimension that had the exact same timeline, just with a minor difference.

The minor difference in this case is the me being a female in this timeline. However, because we both have a Kyuubi, both me and my Kyuubi should help her and her's get along a bit better than now." Hiruzen thought about everything he said.

"So you are telling me that you are from the future of a different dimension?" Naruto nodded. "Can you prove it?" Naruto went into an iffy pose.

"If I had the chakra control I used to have in my timeline around my normal age, I would be just fine, but because my body went back in time, I only have the knowledge. However, I can say that in about 3 months, my team got a mission request for an escort to Nami no Kuni so that a Bridge builder, Tazuna, can make his way back home. It was classed as a C-rank mission. In about 6 months, the Chunin Exams will be held here in Konoha." Hiruzen's eyes widened at the information. If he is being truthful, then this meant that he did know the future.

"What happened that caused you to try and fix the future?" Naruto's face went a bit more solemn than Hiruzen expected.

"War. The 4th Great Shinobi War. The first war in which all the Elemental Countries were allied against a single force: Akatsuki." Hiruzen paled. The Akatsuki was an S-Class mercenary group that no one knew the objectives of, but if what Naruto's saying is true, then Akatsuki is a much bigger threat than previously thought.

"What are their objectives?"

"To use the Bijuu to revive the God Tree, which absorbs any chakra it can gather, and summons a powerful Genjutsu called 'TsukinoMe'. However, because the Akatsuki didn't know the ultirior motives of one of its members, they resurrected a Godess… Kaguya Otsutsuki. " If it was even possible, Hiruzen went even paler. Kaguya was a rumor said to bring chakra to any living being.

"Kaguya… Anything else?" Without knowing, they kept up the conversation while Naruko was starting to wake back up.

"Well, I can say that Konoha gets invaded during the Konoha Chunin Exam Finals by Oto and Suna. Suna is invading because one: They are getting starved of economics that they believe to be Konoha's doing, when in fact it's Orochimaru, and two: at some point in time, Orochimaru kills the Kazekage, thus impersonating him, and attacking you in the final stage, ending up dead. However, you do take his arms with you, so he couldn't cause any more harm to Konoha at that point in time." Naruto finished his bit of a rant, with Hiruzen considering everything he's been told. There was just too much details to say that this was fabricated.

"What about the Kyuubi attack? That wasn't what it seemed?" Hiruzen and Naruto turned to the now awake Naruko.

"No, it isn't. With the use of a Mangekyo Sharingan, you would be able to put the bijuu under a blind rage, causing them to destroy anything they see. Now, I want to talk to you, Naruko, about something that I KNOW has bothered you, and that you have been wanting an answer to for a while." Both Naruko and Hiruzen started focusing even harder on Naruto, Naruko because she was hoping it was going to be her parents, and Hiruzen because he didn't know why Naruto was going to tell her an extreme secret.

"Before I tell you though, just know that it isn't Jiji's fault that he didn't tell us, me in my timeline, and you in yours. He was doing what our father wanted him to do. The main reason is because our father had many enemies in Iwa. This is why we got our last name Uzumaki, our mother's last name, and also the name of a nearly extinct clan that specialized in Fuinjutsu, had the ability to manifest Chakra Chains, typically have large amounts of Chakra, even when just born. In fact, a newborn Uzumaki typically has the amount of Chakra as a fresh Genin.

One of the main reasons as to why we were chosen to become a Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi is because our father had the most faith that we would bring about great things to the world, as well as eventually gain control of it's power. Unfortunately, I was unable to stop everyone from dying in mine, because I wasn't strong enough to stop Akatsuki from destroying the entire world. Here though, I can help stop that from happening.

I learned that hate really comes from other's hate, and if one hates something, that other thing will come back and bring more hate towards them. It's a never-ending cycle. That's why I made it my goal to remove the hate from my Kyuubi. In fact, we partnered up during the war, and opened the seal. However, because I'm now in my 13 year old body, the seal reverted, meaning that the seal went back to how it used to be… something that I don't really like too much. So, are you ready to learn the names of our parents?" Naruto asked. Naruko knew that she had to know who her, and appearently Naruto's as well – in a different timeline at least – was, and so she nodded.

"Our parents are Minato Namikaze, and Kushina Uzumaki. Now, I will tell you that when you take the tag off the cage for the first time, you will be stopped by Dad, and when you try to harness the power of Kurama for the first time without any negative effects, by actually taking majority of her chakra, our mother will appear. I will get a chance to see our parents again, but I would recommend befriending Kurama first, as it always feels good to have a friend with you the entire time."

Hiruzen now knew that he was telling the truth. No one except for a select few actually knew Naruko to be Minato's daughter. However, he needed to get into contact with Jiraya. After all, he is now a godfather of two of Minato's children instead of just one.

"Getting back to what you were talking about with the Kyuubi attack, do you know who did it?" Hiruzen asked. He now knew that it was an Uchiha that caused the Kyuubi attack, and as such they needed to know who it was to put into the bingo book.

"I cannot say without there being some doubts. After all, he has been believed to be dead for a while now." Hiruzen went through his memories…

"Madara?"

"No, but if things go the way they did in my past life, he gets revived by a Konoha spy by the name of Kabuto, who works under Orochimaru at this point and time. He'll be participating in the Chunin Exams, and has info that goes into depth on mission reports. That Mizuki incident also shows up on the card, because Sasuke asked about my card.

Speaking of Sasuke, because Orochimaru tempted him with more power, he abandoned the village, seeking more power to slain his brother, eventually slain Orochimaru and then slain his brother. Once he did that, he found out, by the same person who caused the Uchiha Massacre in the first place, that his brother was doing as the higher-ups told, specifically Danzo, and turned Sasuke against the Leaf, eventually joining Akatsuki and taking a beast transformation version of Killer Bee, the current Raikage's brother in all but blood, the jinchuuriki of the Hachibi, Gyuuki.

Eventually he revived Orochimaru, and then he revived all the previous Hokage, from Hashirama to Dad. They managed to convince Sasuke to fight with the Allied Shinobi Forces, and died while protecting Sakura from an incoming metal rod, who died around 5 minutes after due to a wood spear from Madara. Yes, Madara can use Wood Style because he added Hashirama cells to his body before he died. He found the person who caused the Kyuubi attack on his death bed and gave half his body the Hashirama cells." Naruto finished. Hiruzen's eyes widened at the hint that Naruto gave. After all, there was only one Uchiha that could've needed another half to survive…

"Obito? He's still alive?" Hiruzen asked.

"Yes. Obito is still alive, although he isn't the same as he used to be. He saw Rin jump in front of Kakashi while he was using Raikiri. Because of that promise that Obito asked of Kakashi being broken, he didn't know what else to do. He was left to darkness because he had no light. Madara used this to convince him to play a part of his plan, to allow himself to be revived. Madara, even after death, is still reigning over us, because Obito is manipulating the head of Akatsuki.

I'm going to need to talk to Ero-Sennin for the first time in this timeline so that both me and Naruko can get through this. After all, in my timeline the Toads said that I was the child of prophecy, and if that's the case, then we are the Children of Prophecy."

The aged Hokage had to think about who this 'Ero-Sennin' was, but about 5 seconds of thinking and he laughed.

"You actually called Jiraiya 'Ero-Sennin' in your timeline? That's golden!"

"I know, right? I mean, he would always leave me to practicing the Rasengan by myself, while going to a Tavern while we were searching for Baa-chan."

"Baa-chan?"

"Yeah, Tsunade-Baachan! Once you get under her skin enough, she just leaves you be! God those flicks to the forehead hurt a ton though…" Hiruzen laughed even more.

"Alright, come here Naruto-kun." Naruto brightened at the affectionate term, its what he missed the most about the Sandaime Hokage. He truly loved being around the Sandaime, even though he didn't tell the truth, he had the right intentions, and that's what truly mattered to him.

Hiruzen took off all the chakra restraints and handcuffs, and Naruto stretched afterwards. "Now, do you think you can show us the Rasengan? It's not that I don't trust you, its just that I'm curious."

"I don't actually know if I can do it one-handed, but I may be able to do it with a Kage Bunshin." Hiruzen watched as Naruto created a flawless Kage Bunshin and, after around two minutes, a perfect Rasengan formed.

"Hmm… I think it took around 30 seconds to form my first perfect Rasengan, but then again I was mainly focusing on not making it as fast as possible… I'll need to see how fast I can make it later." Naruto thought out loud, letting them know he could make it much faster.

For Hiruzen though, it served as the final piece to the puzzle. He now had confirmation that Naruto was who he said he was, as Jiraiya wouldn't teach the Rasengan to just anyone. He was brought out of his thoughts by Naruto.

"Well, That would mean I wouldn't be able to use RasenShuriken until I can do Sage training again… However, I should be able to progress much faster now that I won't have the urge to move." Naruko then asked the question that Hiruzen wanted to know about as well.

"What's a RasenShuriken?"

"RasenShuriken, or better known as Wind Style: RasenShuriken, is a jutsu that I made that is based off of the Rasengan. I figured out how to make Rasengan include the Wind element, but wanted to improve it even more, so it came out as RasenShuriken. It has what looks like a Rasengan in the center with 4 wind blades violently rotating around. It's originally a close combat type move, and without proper control can damage your arm to the point of not even being able to use chakra at all, which is why I want to relearn Sage mode, but at some point, I was able to make it a projectile.

When it collides with the target, it'll expand for around a quarter mile, looking like a dome of solid wind needles, and will literally obliterate the entire chakra network, no matter what type of defensive armor you have on. It was one of my favorite jutsus, and was made a forbidden jutsu, even from me until I could wield it without damaging myself. I actually killed Kakuzu of the 5 Hearts with the technique." Naruko's and Hiruzen's eyes widened at the implications of the jutsu. It's not only an improvement, but it's a literal upgrade from the Rasengan. He quite literally mentioned that it can actually damage the user without the right chakra control.

"Well, that goes into the Forbidden Scroll of Sealing once it's remade. So, I've made up my mind. You are going to be joining the same team with Naruko, Naruto." Hiruzen said. "There is still about 30 minutes before Team Assignments. I'll let the Jonin know about your situation, Naruto… I'm sure you know the sensei, right?" Naruto nodded. "Good. Then I'll assume that you have no problems, then?"

Another nod. "I don't have a problem, just don't let him know about anything in the future. I'll let him know about Obito when I feel the time is right." Hiruzen nodded.

"Also, I will say that I will not hold back on what I say to Sasuke when I get there." Hiruzen tilted his head in a confused manner. "Basically I'm going to tell him about why the clan was Massacred. And I'm not going to say it in a light manner, I'm just going to be blunt about it."

"WHAT? WHY?"

"Because it's the only way to keep him inside the village without nearly the amount of hate he would gain otherwise. It may also allow Itachi to come back into the village without any repercussions on our end, due to Sasuke." Hiruzen thought about the implications.

"What would you say to him?"

"Things like what happened the day of the Kyuubi attack, why the Uchiha Clan was massacred, and things along those lines." Hiruzen sighed before moving on.

"What rank were you before you came here?" The aged Hokage asked. Naruto rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.

'That really is a child of Kushina, the same exact mannerisms… Well, now I'm 100%: This child really did come from an alternate dimension.'

"Well… I'm still a Genin… Because the Chunin Exams got interrupted, and the fact that I went on a 3-year training trip with Ero-Sennin, I've never got a real chance to complete a Chunin Exam."

Hiruzen and Naruko promptly face-planted.

"Even though you were able to face S-Rank Criminals in a full blown war, kill an Immortal, you were still a Genin?"

"Yup, and I probably would've made Hokage as a Genin as well later on if things didn't turn out the way they did." Naruto then laughed a bit sheepishly before losing the happy face altogether. It clearly brought painful memories.

"Alright, you two." Naruto snapped out of his thoughts and both him and Naruko looked at the elderly man in front of them. "Why don't you two head on over to the academy and get seated down. It'll start soon and I need to let them know of the re-arrangements." Naruko and Naruto nodded and left.

'I'm getting too old for this. In any case, I need to get Jiraiya here ASAP to get Naruto and Naruko the Toad Summoning Scroll. This would help them in their progress to save the world from Akatsuki… and Madara… god that name still brings me nightmares…' Hiruzen thought before shunshining back to his office.

"ANBU." A squad of ANBU units arrived seemingly out of nowhere. "Summon Iruka Umino and Kakashi Hatake at once. And make sure that Kakashi is here on time, this is extremely important." The four ANBU left without a question. Within 5 Minutes, Iruka and Kakashi arrived, the latter constantly looking over his shoulder while holding on tight to his 'precious' book.

"Hokage-sama, why have you summoned us? It is almost time for Team placements." Iruka asked, getting Kakashi's attention. Hiruzen nodded.

"That it is, but that's also why I needed to summon you before it took place. Something happened to change the team Kakashi has a bit." Both of them went stiff. Kakashi wanted to train his Sensei's daughter, but if they were changing her to a different team, then why isn't there another Jonin sensei nearby? Unless…

"Don't think like that. What I'm proposing is something that's never been done before: a 4-man squad. There's a reason I'm saying this, but I'll explain it in more detail to you, Kakashi, because you are at a higher rank. I will tell a simple summary to Iruka, though. Basically, there is going to be a boy that appears in the classroom with your students, looking very similar to Naruko-chan. His name is Naruto Uzumaki. He will be on Team 7. Understood?" Iruka nodded, but was skeptical. Hiruzen sighed.

"I guess in simple terms you can say he is her long lost brother. In any case, he will be telling the truth of the Uchiha Clan's Massacre." Kakashi's eyes widened. "He asked me for permission beforehand. Iruka, do you want to know why Sasuke's clan was murdered? I suppose seeing how Sasuke will know soon anyways, it should be taken off the S-Class secrets. Itachi wasn't supposed to kill all but Sasuke. Appearently Danzo got to him before the Uchiha Massacre happened, and told him that he would kill all the Uchiha, Sasuke included, or that Itachi would have to kill all but Sasuke.

I still don't know what happened to those eyes though." Kakashi's eyes widened when he realized what this meant. "Wait, so that means that Itachi isn't a traitor? I don't think you should remove it from S-Rank secrecy just yet. There may be some use to this if he isn't a traitor." Hiruzen nodded.

"Iruka, you are dismissed." Iruka nodded and left via shunshin.

Hiruzen promptly put up the silencing seals. "Kakashi, this boy isn't a threat. He is, in a way, related to Naruko, although you could say he is literally the male counterpart to Naruko. To make things even wackier, he also has the full Kyuubi sealed inside him, not just half of it like Naruko.

Naruto-kun actually came from an alternate dimension where his world was destroyed by a group organization called Akatsuki. He is here to stop that from happening. He said that the timeline is almost 1-1 with the only real difference being that he has a female counterpart instead of himself being male.

Apparently, you will get a mission in around 3 months from now about an escort to Nami no Kuni for a bridge builder named Tazuna. There's a reason behind everything, and he said that he'll fill you in as time goes on. Naruko also knows about her heritage because Naruto knows.

We don't have to worry about the Kyuubi from Naruto, as he actually befriended her. And apparently he will help Naruko remove the hate from her Kyuubi as well. He doesn't rely on, as he said it, Kurama's chakra unless he absolutely needs it.

Naruto also told me that, when the time is right, he'll fill you in on what's to come so you can be more prepared. So do you accept this? It'll be an S-rank long term payment, because of the fact that protecting Naruto and Naruko literally means protecting the world. They are 'The Children of Prophecy' as Naruto put it."

"I accept wholeheartedly. After all, I thought Sensei only had a daughter, but now that I find out that he had a son in a different dimension and came here, that makes things even better! Hopefully things turn out better here than they ended up in his dimension." Hiruzen nodded. Things were about to get crazy.

**Author's Notes: AND that's a wrap for this chapter! Wow, that felt nice to end. I'm so glad I didn't end up going with a Canon flashback, showcasing literally every major event, because we all know that. I ended up with the questions, and in my opinion, that makes things much more interesting and fun.

Like I mentioned before, this is a story for writer's blockage. I'm taking most of the inspiration that I've had with other stories and couldn't use in The Fox and His Flowers (Most of which are Time Travel fics), and use them here. One of my more troubling things is the fact that I now have a job, so that'll make writing a ton more difficult, so instead of posting them consistently like I used to do, I will be posting them for The Fox and His Flowers after I'm satisfied with the chapter. It'll take a lot longer to post them, but it'll make the story much more worth reading.
