Once Amaria had gotten home from school, she placed her bag aside. She was to heading up to her room. There she would have alone time. That was until her mother Kelly came over,

"Hey Amaria, how was the first day back?",asked Kelly sweetly.

Amaria could see that Kelly was busy with her two younger siblings Sai and Priya,

"It was fine.",said Amaria.

"Fine?!... Amaria, everything okay?",asked Kelly.

"Yep. It is just that Astrid and Shawn are still the worse, like last time.",groaned Amaria.

"Amaria, I know you hate them both, but, you shouldn't let so much resentment get to you", said Kelly

"I know, but, I still don't forgive either one of them.",said Amaria.

"Listen Amaria if you have so much anger and hate you should focus on your first week of school." Offered Kelly

Amaria was silent she knew she was angry but she was angry for a reason. Amaria was angry at Shawn because he had stole her lunch all the way back in Kindergarten, but , she got him back by flushing his jacket down the toilet. Amaria was angry at Astrid, even though she used to be friends with her, for pushing her down off the stage that led to Amaria breaking her foot. She was in the hospital for a while until her foot healed. One of her teachers stopped by and paid a visit along with her classmates and they all sent, "Get well" letters to her. This included Shawn for a while. Amaria liked how Shawn thought about her. It wasn't until Amaria saw on Astrid's Instagram that the real resentment began. Pictures all over Instagram of Astrid confirming her and Shawn's relationship. Amaria understood what her mom said today was suppose to be a fresh start for her ,

Amaria nodded, "Okay, I'll do that.", as she walked up the stairs.

This little action made Kelly smile.

Meanwhile~

As Amaria left for her bedroom Kelly was focusing on helping Sai with his homework. Priya patiently watched

"I just don't get it!",yelled Sai in frustration.

Kelly placed a hand on Sai's hand.

"Hey it's okay.",comforted Kelly softly.

It wasn't until Andy comes back home from his day at work,

"Hey what's going on?",asked Andy.

"Having trouble with homework.", answered Kelly.

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that.",said Andy

"Yep, I t's just I don't know what to do, Andy.",said Kelly

"About what?",asked Andy.

"About Sai, I mean Amaria would always know what she's doing, but I don't know about Sai...",said Kelly.

Andy was quiet. Even though Amaria is his stepdaughter, he loves her like if she was his very own and like his two other children. He is proud of what a smart and beautiful girl she is. Sai, on the other hand, ever since he was born, started having issues in school. He and Kelly can't even figure out why. Since summer is over and everybody is getting back to work and even to school, Kelly and Andy, besides ..dealing with Amaria's teenage drama and Priya trying to cause trouble they need to focus on what's going on with Sai.

"Maybe you should take him to a psychiatrist,"suggested Andy as Kelly nodded in response "Maybe your right." She said agreeing what her husband said.
