Author's Note
Okay, so nobody thought to vote for anything, so I went ahead and flipped a coin, rolled some dice, and guess what I landed on in the end:
Everybody's least favorite entry of Final Fantasy: XIII.
...Real talk, the XIII series is one of my favorites. I know it's FREAKING LINEAR, but I don't really care about it. I don't know about the story, but I feel like it doesn't really matter to me all that much.
You can fight me about it all you want, but I'm not changing a DAMN thing. You guys kept me, an impatient bastard, waiting long enough. This is my decision and my decision alone. Everyone has a breaking point and you ought to learn that I have one as well.
"Hmm... How about this one?" Chiaki asked, touching a picture of a futuristic world.
"Okay. Now go to sleep, Chiaki." The Dragon Lord told.
"Right. I guess it's the only way for me to enter these worlds, huh?" Chiaki hummed.
"Indeed."
Before Chiaki could reply, she fell asleep again.
Chiaki woke up with a gasp while standing up. She looked around and saw that she was inside a train that was forced to stop from what she could see. "Hmm... I wonder if I can climb to the top of this train..."
You'd need an AGI of 5 for that to happen.
"Oh. Right. You're still with me. I'm sorry I didn't think of talking to you... So, you said that I need an AGI of 5...?" Chiaki asked before checking her stats.

"Not quite there yet, huh? Well, I DO have stat points, so, I'll just put one of them to AGI and even out the rest into STR and INT. I feel like I'm gonna need it." Chiaki said as she does so, bringing her AGI to 5 and her STR to 5 and her INT to 6. "Okay. I'm ready now." She declared before climbing out the windows of the train and onto the top in one fluid motion. "Wow... I'm that agile? With 5 AGI?"
Chiaki then sees a woman with pink hair and military-like clothing, alongside a man with an afro and brown skin, fighting a giant robot with a scorpion-like tail and buzzsaws for fingers. 'An enemy...? It must be!' Chiaki exclaimed in thought before running to the two humans. "Room for one more?"
"This isn't the place for children to play hero." The pink haired woman scolded.
"Easy for you to say. YOU'RE an adult." Chiaki grunted. "I can help you." She assured as she uses [Observe] on her and the brown skinned man.

"I know what I'm doing and what I'm going to do." Chiaki replied. "I'm going... to fight."
"A bold move for a kid we don't know. All right. Just don't get in our way." Lightning said before the warmech attacks, the group dodging. All three of them seize the opportunity and attack the robot, dealing damage to it. Once they dealt enough, the robot goes to the end of the train and grabs it with its saw-like fingers, making it shake and making the three humans start to lose their balance. "Fall back!" Lightning ordered. The three do so, Sazh barely making it himself.
The warmech then comes for round 2. "Okay. Here we go!" Chiaki grunted before starting to cast magic.
"Wait. Are you...?" Lightning let out.
"No time. Just go!" Chiaki asked of, Lightning and Sazh holding off the warmech. "Kouha!" She shouted, firing a shot of light that hits the warmech, dealing massive magical damage and defeating the warmech.

MP increased by 7!
STR increased by 2!
INT increased by 1!
Skill Points increased by 5!
"Good. We managed to defeat it!" Chiaki declared. The warmech explodes, making it fall into the abyss below. Sazh falls to his rear in exhaustion.
"Oh goodness... We did it...!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah." Chiaki nodded with a smile.
"What the hell do you think you're doing here... l'Cie?" Lightning asked Chiaki.
"Saving you two since you're the only ones I can see right now." Chiaki answered as if it was a natural answer.
"Saving us, huh? Is that what the fal'Cie ordered you to do?"
'Fal'Cie? What is she talking about? I don't even know what a l'Cie OR a fal'Cie EVEN IS...' Chiaki thought.
L'Cie have certain traits in common: they are primarily humans (though non-humans can be chosen as well) chosen by agents of the world's gods (fal'Cie or Crystals) as servants to fulfill a Focus or similar task. The tasks range from being protectors of said agents, fulfilling a task to realize the gods' agenda, or some other purpose.
'So basically, servants of gods...?'
Yes. You might want to play along, though. She's getting suspicious of you.
'Yeah, I know that, but... Do I really have to?' Chiaki asked TX.
Trust me.
"...Yes. The fal'Cie ordered me to fulfill my destiny as a protector of the innocent. As well as those who will protect this world." Chiaki reluctantly lied.

"Is that right... All right. Show me how much you can protect." Lightning ordered before going on ahead.
"I'll do my best." Chiaki nodded, following her. She and the other two go and find a trio of soldiers which Chiaki uses Observe on.

'Nothing to be worried about if those stats are what I have to deal with. Heck, I'd even go far as to say that it's a level 1 enemy...' Chiaki thought. "I'll handle this. Wouldn't want you two getting hurt."
"Hmph. If you're so sure." Lightning scoffed at her cockiness. Chiaki moves on ahead and defeats the three wardens. The group keeps moving, defeating wardens along the way.
Suddenly, an explosion occurs, preventing them from going further. Lightning tries to use some kind of Anti-Gravity power, but Sazh prevented her from using it. Another way reveals itself, Chiaki and the trio taking it. Along the way, they encounter a more regal soldier. "Deportees, huh? Weapons down. I'd hate for this to turn ugly." He stated, Chiaki observing him.

"What? You've got some ability to analyze people or something?" Lightning asked.
"If you're talking to me so casually in the face of danger, I must be right to assume, right?" Chiaki asked back, Lightning scoffing in amusement.

"Time's up!" The Marauder exclaimed, charging at the group. He swings his weapon at them, but Chiaki blocks it, getting knocked back for it.

Chiaki grunts at the amount of damage she took. 'That's pretty big...' She grimaced in thought before putting in all of her unspent points in STR.

'Okay.' Chiaki hummed. 'Let's do this.'
The Marauder was accompanied by two Officers, but they were easily defeated by Lightning and Sazh as Chiaki focused on the Marauder. As Chiaki clashes with the Marauder with her newfound strength, Lightning and Sazh help out, defeating the Marauder. The trio take some kind of teleporter, making Chiaki unintentionally teleport back to the void.
"Oh. Okay, I guess I'm back here..." Chiaki let out. She looks around and does not see the Dragon Lord of Creation. "Hmm... Well, I suppose I'll make a decision before he gets here...
