The next day rolled around. Amaria woke up early enough to get herself ready for school. As she changed from her pajamas into her grey hoodie, she then bent down to put on her pants. Once she finished, and, grabbed her backpack that was filled with her school stuff. She headed downstairs. By the time she reached to the front of the door, she heard the sound of footsteps behind her. Amaria turned towards the sound of the noise to see both her parents, Kelly, and Andy, along with her two younger siblings, Sai and Priya, making their way to the table together.

"Amaria, the bus hasn't come yet.", said Kelly.

"Oh.",said Amaria.

She put her backpack down casually. She left it where she could remember to find it later on. When the bus actually does come, it gets very hectic in the house. Everyone appears to be running around grabbing things they need for the day. Amaria went over to the table and sat at an angle so when she pulled up a chair to sit with her family, she could easily jump up when the bus came.

"That's become a nasty habit of yours, Amaria.",said Kelly.

"Well, I don't want to be late.",said Amaria .

Kelly smiled about what a good kid Amaria is.

"I don't like that!",yelled out Priya loudly. on the food she was eating

"Priya!",said Amaria .

She couldn't take her sister's behavior. Kelly shushed Amaria while as Sai sat in his seat .

"What Mom?You know she's always done this."said Amaria

"I understand Amaria but I'm her mother I've known you tried to be the responsible older sister but sometimes mothers have to do their thing to." Said Kelly

Amaria went silent

"I mean, I remember you were rambunctious when you were Priya's age.",said Andy

He shared a laugh with his wife as Kelly laughed along with him.

"Anyway, I got to go.",sais Amaria

She got up from her seat picked up her backpack.

"But,wait the bus is not there yet.",called Kelly

"Ummm.. the bus pulled up early…", lied Amaria.

She quickly exited out the door. In reality, she didn't want the hear about more stories about her as a child…
