Daisy's POV
That was just so uncomfortable, I had to get out of there. Thankfully Tony got me out of there. Instead of actually saying thank you though I gave him a thankful look on my way out. I practically ran out of there.
Once I got to the room I grabbed my laptop and got onto the bed. I opened it but it wouldn't turn on. I pressed the power button but still a nope. When it finally did the screen just said that Shield wouldn't let me onto my laptop, or any device for that matter. Maybe tomorrow I could find a device I could get on and contact them.
I just knew though, that if I ever got caught by Shield then this would happen. That was why I tried so hard to avoid them. I shut my laptop screen and put it into the bag. It was a dingy old laptop but I won it in a bet and I was kinda attached to it.
The bag wasn't much better either. I stuffed the bag under the pillow, that way if someone tried to take it I could stop them. Or try to stop them at least.
I grabbed my pajamas and headed into the bathroom. Now when I say pajamas I mean a huge tee-shirt with a bunch of holes in it and some too small shorts, also with holes in them.
I got undressed and into the shower. I washed my messy hair and got all clean. It felt so good. I hadn't been this clean since... well ever.
I got dressed and brushed my teeth, soon enough I was all ready for bed. I hoped in and got under the comforter. The bed was amazingly comfortable! I had never slept in a bed this comfortable before.
Afterlife was a close second though. I finally met my mom there, thanks to my dad. My dad, Cal, had led me to a temple where my powers were awakened. My best friend Trip had followed me there and was killed by the mist.
My dad later took me to Afterlife where I met my mom. To bad Shield had to destroy it. Just as my mom had told me who she was and when I was born Shield attacked, destroying Afterlife and my mom along with it.
I lay on the bed thinking about Afterlife, when sleep got it's grip on me and I feel into the pitch blackness of it. Falling asleep to the sound of rain pound on my window.
Tony's POV
I was lying in bed, I was waiting for Pepper to finish up in the bath room and come to bed. I was listening to the rain fall outside.
"Sir, it appears a storm is coming. They are telling people to stay inside and that it might flood." Said Jarvis.
"Looks like we can't take Daisy shopping tomorrow." Said Pepper, getting in bed.
"Yeah, looks like we're going to have to stay in for a few days. Maybe we can play some games and watch some movies." I suggested.
"Sounds good. I wonder if we can get the rest of the team and the Shield Agents to play some games and watch some movies."
"Maybe. I'm wondering more about if Daisy will agree to."
"Yeah, she seems kind of reluctant to do anything with us."
"In her defense though we did kind of kidnap her and are keeping her captive. She can't even get on any electronics and she's a hacker."
"Come on let's get some sleep." Pepper said laying her head down on the pillow and pulling the comforter over her body.
"Alright fine." I said, doing the same.
Falling asleep to the sound of rain I let sleep have it's hold on me, falling into a deep, deep, sleep next to Pepper.
The next day
It was raining cats and dogs outside. I got up at six and got a cup of coffee. Sitting down at the dinner table I checked the news.
We definitely should stay inside for the next two days. That's what their saying, stay inside for the next to days. Guess we'll have to take Daisy shopping later.
Suddenly Daisy's says, standing behind me, "Is it going to flood?". I jump a little and I see a smirk cross her face. If she likes prancing and scaring people like this, she'll get along swimmingly with Natasha and Clint.
"Yes. They say it's going to rain for like this for about two days. Probably going to flood." I say, answering her question.
A look of worry crosses her face.
"How about we stay inside and play games and watch movies though?" I ask.
The worried look stays on her face and she nods her head but the look stays on her face. I though the look was just because she doesn't like storms but I later find out it's because she has people that she's worried about.
Getting up I say "How about we start now? Want to play Clue? Have you had breakfast?" I ask.
"Sure, Ok, and no." She said.
"Alright I'll go get the game. You get some breakfast, meet me in the common room." I say leaving the room. I head into the common room and grab the Clue board game.
I sit down on the couch and start setting up the game. A few minutes later everyone else walks into the room.
"Tony, what are you doing?" Asks May.
"Fighting evil kittens." I say, a smirk on my face.
May shoots me a death glare but it was totally worth it.
"Tony." Say Coulson.
"Alright, since it's storming me and Pepper decided to play games and watch some movies with Daisy." I say.
"Can I join?" Asks Clint. "What I love Clue." He says sitting down. Soon enough everyone else is sitting down and two minutes later Daisy comes in with a banana.
She just stands in the door way until Clint's says "Daisy, why don't you come in and sit?" He says patting the spot next to him. The spot was in between him and Nat and I could tell that she was uncomfortable with that, but she sat there nonetheless.
Once everyone chose their characters the game started. Two hours later the game finally ended with Coulson winning.
"How about some lunch and a movie?" Asked Coulson.
Although Daisy and the others wouldn't admit it, they were all having fun.
"Alright, what movie and what should we eat?" Asked Bruce.
I grabbed my tablet from the table next to me and opened up take out.
"We have... Chinese, Indian, Mexican..." I said.
"I'm up for Mexican." Said Natasha.
"Yeah, Mexican sounds pretty good right now!" Said Jemma.
Half an hour later we were all eating Mexican and watching The Big Bang. I could tell that Daisy was having fun but she wouldn't admit it. Though the worries look was still stuck on her face.
Three hours later, we were all done eating and finished up quite a few episodes of The Big Bang.
Everyone was having fun and it helped that the storm kept everyone inside. Daisy still had a stressed look on her face.
Suddenly thunder boomed outside and Daisy jumped so high and far back that she fell off the back of the couch. Everyone went to check on her but when we got there she was huddled up against the couch with her knees pulled up to her chest.
She was breathing hard and had a far away look in her eyes.
"I got this." I said stepping a bit toward Daisy. She shrank back even more against the couch.
"Daisy just breath, Ok? Look, breath with me. 1,2,3..." I said sitting down in front of her. Everyone formed a semi circle around us but kept their distance, giving us some space.
Thirty minutes later
Daisy's breathing had finally slowed down and she's back down to earth.
"Daisy are you okay?" I asked.
She nodded but didn't say anything.
"How about you pick the next movie?" Said Jemma.
At that Daisy's face lit up and she nodded her head.
"What do you want to watch?" Asked Fitz.
"Red Notice." She said.
"Red Notice? I've never seen that, is it good?" Asked Bruce.
"Really good. We watch it all the time." She said. We? I noticed the slip up and so did everyone else but Daisy didn't.
I ordered Italian for dinner and soon it was here and we were starting the movie, Red Notice I think it was.
A Red Notice movie later
We all sat in silence. A moment later Clint said "That was awesome!" And everyone nodded their head or verbally agreed.
I looked outside and saw that it was dark.
"Jarvis what time is it?" I asked.
"It is eleven pm sir." Said Jarvis.
"Daisy why don't you head up to bed." I said.
She nodded her head and got up, heading up stairs. Once she disappeared inside the elevator Mack said "Ok that was a great movie but what are we going to do tomorrow? Also did anyone notice the way she said we instead of I?"
"As far as we know Quake and Skye has no known accomplices." Said May.
"Yeah well we really don't know much about her." Said Yoyo.
"Alright well moving away from that subject what are we going to do tomorrow?" I asked.
"How about some more movies and more games?" Asked Clint.
"How about some poker?" Asked Coulson.
"Poker?" Asked Natasha.
"Yeah. I want to see if Daisy can bet any of us at poker and I get the feeling that Daisy will play for real if she can win some money." He said.
"Ok some poker tomorrow."
"Cool."
"Goodnight guys."
"See you tomorrow."
Soon enough everyone had left and gone up to bed. I had a feeling I was gonna lose a lot of money tomorrow. I got up and headed to bed also, Pepper not to far behind me.
