Jim in his troll-half form stumbles upon a strange door that takes him to another universe, where he encounters Hilda who has recently been turned into a troll and is trying to change back into a human. The two of them become friends as they try to return to being human and help both the trolls and the human citizens of Trolberg.

The Void of No Return traveled through the woods, until it found a entrance into the mountain and went inside. The dark being traveled through the tunnels being careful to avoid being spotted by any of the trolls, until it reached Trundle's old palace. The Void of No Return made it's way into the palace and was immediately confronted by Brundle armed with his staff. Brundle studied the intruder and recognized the evil being.

"I remember you. You terrorized my people and forced my mother to become a giant to fight you." Growled Brundle.

The Void of No Return made a grumbling noise and then it spoke.

"It's nice to be remembered for that."

"What do you want?" Demanded Brundle.

"I have come for your brother's eye to return it to him, so he can go about and awaken, your dear mother from her slumber."

"You want revenge." Said Brundle.

"Exactly."

Brundle snarled and charged at the Void of No Return, swinging his staff. The Void of No Return dodged out of the way and shot several shadow arms at the big troll and they wrapped around the staff and yanked it away and tossed it to the far side of the room. Brundle roared and punched the Void of No Return sending it flying and crashing into the throne. The Void of No Return grabbed the stone throne and hurled it at Brundle. The throne smashed into Brundle and knocked him to the ground. Before the big troll could recover the Void of No Return sent several of it's arms smashing into the celling above and sent several rocks crashing down on Brundle and buried him.

The Void of No Return turned to the treasure horde and located Trundle's eye. The dark being snatched it's prize and quickly left the palace to move on to the next part of it's evil plan.
