The Trojan Horse was depicted as one of the most famous historical myths of the world as the reason why the city of Troy fell. It told the story of how the Greeks built a giant wooden Horse statue as a peace offering and abandoned the war. The king of Troy orders the horse to be brought into the city as a gift but unknown to him and anyone else Greeks soldiers were stationed inside the wooden Horse, when it was dark and quiet the Greeks emerge from the wooden horse attacking the city and opening the gates of Troy that allowed the Greeks soldiers who were hiding in wait to enter the city of Troy and destroy it.
The lesson of the story was to be careful of the gifts given to someone by your enemy as they may have ulterior motives.
Jill wasn't stupid enough to believe that the Emperor of Mitsurugi was willing to send help out of the goodness of heart, knowing that it must involve Embryo's appearance it was no coincidence. She knew it was a trap.
"This message is on behalf of the International Aid Armada of the Norma Management Board," the woman on the screen announced. "We would like to thank all of you in your combat against the DRAGONS. In a few minutes, we will be initiating your rescue. Please be patient while we begin evacuation procedures."
"Great," Rosalie muttered. "I wonder where they're gonna stick us now."
"Oh what a relief!" Momoka cried. "Lady Angelise, we're safe! Help is on the way!"
"You really that naïve Momoka," Kaito said. "Momoka have you forgotten how the Empire treated Angelise like a freak when she was captured".
Momoka eyebrows raised, realizing how foolish she was. "So what do we do Aniki?" Jack asked.
"We fight."
"Inside!" Jasmine ordered. "Everyone get inside now!" as the once former Commander knew what's going to happen.
"What? Why?" Chris asked.
"Just do it!" Jasmine yelled. Like Hilda, she too had seen the look on Kaito's face and knew exactly what was coming. "If you don't want to die then RUN!" From across the island, the remaining anti-air artillery suddenly opened fire as the sky lit up with the explosions of dozens of missiles. It had begun. Some of the missiles made it through however and the island itself rocked from the bombardment. And cresting right above the water as the battle began was Tusk's Air Runner, the young man cursing as he watched the missiles fly by.
"S***, I was too late!" Tusk grit his teeth as he looked forward, balls of flame erupting along the island's surface. "I'll make it in time, everyone. Ange, hold out for as long as you can."
"Give me a line to the intercom," she ordered. From around her shoulders, Olivier unhooked the radio backpack she carried and set it down on the floor. After checking that the batteries were working, she handed the mouthpiece to Jill who began broadcasting to all of Arzenal.
Jill spoke into the microphone, "Attention everyone, don't believe a word from that bastard. Prepare to fight, defend the island."
Everyone was confused about such words but understood Jill's meaning as they knew what she meant, especially those who experienced human prejudice firsthand. But the problem was after the DRAGON'S attack their entire base was in ruins. They're low on ammo, many personnel are injured, everyone was in despair, and morale was low as they didn't know what to do. They are completely between a rock and hard place right now.
"Everyone, they're humans." Jill simply stated, "They have no intention of helping us Norma. They intend to gather us up like possessions and make us fight elsewhere. Those of you who want that, surrender. But, if you want to resist, follow me. Arzenal command hereby rejects human administration. We will now begin our rebellion… Operation Libertus! We've been prepared for a situation like this for a long time, the invasion drills were for a reason. So, if you want to resist, start by fighting back right now. Grab a gun, stand up and fight. If you choose to follow, gather at the lowest level of Arzenal". There is no going back as the only way to survive was forward. "They made us fight for them, to work as their slaves and kill for them… so let's show them the fruits of their labor and make them choke on them. So I'll say this: Norma, give these humans hell."
As the missile barrage continued to rain down from above, the residents of Arzenal huddled for cover within the interior of the base. With each impact, the entire island shook and ceilings already damaged by the DRAGONS' attack showered the Norma with bits of dust and plaster. Fear and confusion filled the air, the attack had begun.
The transmission was cut and Jill looked over to the three of them. "So what will it be?" The command staff looked at each other and considered their options. From what they had seen so far, the humans had already determined their fate. At least this way, they had a chance.
"I'll go with you," Pamela said.
"Me too," Olivier nodded.
"I'm in," Hikaru agreed. With the command staff now behind her, Jill pulled her personal communicator and hooked it over her ear.
Jill had guided them to the hidden elevator as the elevator began its descent into the very depths of Arzenal; Pamela, Hikaru, and Olivier stared wide-eyed at the walls of the shaft as they traveled down and now they were on their way to who knew what else. "I never even knew this was here," Hikaru said. "Pamela?" The blonde tech shook her head and Commander Jill beckoned for Olivier. "Salia," she called. "I have a very important mission for you. One that only you can accomplish."
Jill along with others are going down the elevator the situation was S.U.S.F.U. they can't fight back and the only way to survive was a tactical retreat. Jill along with those she trusted walked towards their last hope that she prepared in any situation like this. But she was distressed knowing the Sengoku Driver might have been lost during the Dragon attack. But their survival is what matters, if not it will all be in vain, she'll have Libertus and her revenge.
Everyone gathered what they can and got ready, some were confused others were afraid of the situation. With the assault underway, Mei and the Armorers were in high gear to get Para-mails ready for deployment. "The Villkiss is our highest priority!" Mei ordered, said machine already being rolled back along Salia's Arquebus and Vivian's Razor. "Ready ammo later! Take it to the emergency elevator!" From an adjacent corridor, Hilda and those who'd decided to fight came running out.
"Mei, we ready to go?" Hilda asked.
"Yeah," Mei said. "Ready when you are."
"We'll be going too." Already present with the lead Para-mails was a group of the other surviving pilots. The one who'd spoken was a young woman with middling light purple hair in a dark teal pilot suit. "I, Tanya, and the others with me are ready to sortie with you, Vice-Captain Hilda."
"Where is the male captain?" one of them asked.
"He will be here shortly it seems he was almost caught by the attack and got separated by the bombardment but he will arrive shortly " Kaito explained to Hilda through his earpiece how he got separated during the attack as he tried searching for the fastest route to the hanger, "Anyway is everyone ready?"
"We are ready vice-captain."
"Good. Garm Squadron, mount up!" Hilda ordered.
As the riders were heading to their mech, Salia was leading Ange down the stairwell with her rifle at the blonde's back. Unnoticed by anyone else during the attack.
"Are we really going to fight humans?" Rosalie murmured, doubt still on her face.
"It'll be fine."
"If anything it might be a bit easier than fighting DRAGONs."
"Uhm… so then what are those?" Chris pointed up past the openings in the ceiling of the hangar.
Everyone followed Chris's line of sight. Hovering right above Arzenal was a swarm of disc-shaped drones. Before their eyes, a rim of blades extended from both faces before they were launched spinning towards the base.
Steel ripped through concrete as the drones began ripping their way through the structures around them before debris exploded from the upper hangar, sending everyone diving for cover. When the dust cleared, the runway was now blocked off by a large pile of rubble.
"What the hell was that?!" Hilda grumbled, gritting her teeth when she saw the blockage. "Dammit!"
"Vice-Captain!" Tanya's voice came over the comms.
"What's going on out there?" Hilda asked through her comms.
No sooner had Tanya and her team launched their Para-mails had they been surrounded by the disc shaped drones. The swarms didn't even waste a moment in swarming around the Para-mails as they opened fire at them but it was useless as their numbers were seemingly infinite and drones were too fast.
"The unidentified drones are everywhere!" Tanya shouted, sweeping her rifle around and taking down what she could.
'H-Help me!" A yell from off their group made Tanya turn. The drones were swarming around the Para-mail belonging to Irma, the discs retracted their blades and began latching onto the Para-mail with lines of wire before they began dragging her machine off.
"Irma! They took Irma!" Tanya shouted.
"Took them?!" Hilda questioned why.
" We need to Clear the rubble first, it is necessary for the other Para-mails to launch." Mei pointed out.
" We don't have the time, Mei!" Hilda was frustrated in her first Para-mail command.
Then out of nowhere a gunshot was heard as soldiers had already infiltrated the Base.
" Damn it! " Hilda shouted as she and others grabbed a weapon and retaliated.
"Enemies are inside of Arzenal! Their objective is to eliminate all personnel. All units, retreat! Able-bodied people, take up any arms you can and retaliate!" Jill shouted in the intercom for all to hear.
Kaito grabbed one soldier's head and slammed him on the floor hard cracking his visor then followed with a stomp breaking his neck. He hides to the side as more soldiers burst through checking their fallen comrade. Kaito quickly stabs the chest of one of the invaders from behind using his broken blade as the soldier quickly dies. The others turn around and seeing that their comrades are dead, fire their weapons at Kaito. He used a corpse as a human shield, quickly dashing towards the soldiers holding up the dead body and quickly throwing it causing them to scatter. Then Kaito pulled his gun and shot them before they could bring their mana shields back up, the kills were swift and brutal.
The last one was still alive and bleeding "Please I was just following orders, have mercy."
"I'm all out of mercy." said Kaito, putting a bullet in his chest leaving the enemy bleeding out. Kaito's face was smeared with human blood but it didn't falter him at all as he saw the carnage that he created, bodies of dead soldiers with sword and gun wounds can be found littering the corridors.
"These soldiers are jokes; they rely too much on their mana."
Kaito got separated during the bombardment and right now he was searching for the fastest way towards the hangar. The path was blocked by rubble and soldiers but he killed them with ease. Right now he had already seen dead soldiers or Norma with gun wounds but worst of all were the burned, charred bodies.
"This won't end. The only way to stop this is to cut off the head and that is the scum Emperor." Kaito needed his para-mail but he also needed to reach his ride at the hangars now, so he thought what if he called it just like how Ange called her Vilkiss, just like how it moved when they were attacked on the island before and how it moved to test him.
So he concentrated, he could feel the machine's pulse. It was weak and growing like a heartbeat and then the ring shone as if something had awakened. "I AM HERE!" Kaito said in his mind.

The sound of the engine was heard as the mech growled, transforming into destroyer mode and moving on its own crawling through the hangar and saw the enemy soldiers move towards it.
"What paramail is that!?"
"Destroy it!"
The invaders fired their weapons at the Overlord. In anger it retaliates, smashing the soldiers with its metallic arms and then thrashing around. The sound of meat splatting on the floor could be heard, the sounds of grinding and soldier's screaming echoed through the hanger.
Hilda and others look relieved and horrified at such a display of violence. The question on their minds was how a para-mail was moving without a rider.
The last one was caught within its metallic hands "Please help me! "The soldier pleaded for his life while everyone just stared. It crushes the invader with its hands as blood splatters in its metallic hands, it crawls to the wall and then uses it's weapon to destroy the debris allowing an open window towards the outside.
"It cleared the runway, " Mei shouted.
"Doesn't matter, everyone get to your rides " Hilda shouted ordering them.
As it crawled out it jumped and transformed back to its flight mode and flew towards where Kaito was and it didn't take long for it to arrive. He quickly jumped on it and flew towards the enemy filled sky towards the flagship.

At the same time the battle within the base was happening, Salia escorting Ange towards wherever only her captives knew. Jasmine had joined Salia along the way and was lugging Momoka over her shoulder. Ange was glaring at the two.
"The Villkiss is still in the maintenance deck." Salia, pulling her hand away from her earpiece. "I'll be back up as soon as I deliver Ange."
"Are you sure you want to do this? Is it really the time to be running away?" Ange just glaring at Salia.
"I told you, I have a mission. You and the Villkiss must escape unharmed. It's probably going to be my last mission." Salia replied to Ange but from within her heart she was angry at how Jill prioritized the former princess.
"To think you'd risk your friends' lives for that."
"What else can I do?"
"You're just like her." Ange stopped and turned to Salia. "Pitiful and drunk on ideals of duty and honor. It must be awful to get killed for people like you."
"Shut up!" Salia slapped Ange's face in anger. "You don't understand do you?! Don't you even get it?! How important, privileged, and special you are?!" Salia was furious at how Jill valued Ange more than her.
"I don't even want to understand." Ange didn't care what Salia said.
"Then Lady Angelise, could you please hold your breath?" Momoka suddenly spoke up and jumped away from Jasmine's shoulder. From within her apron, Momoka pulled two pepper shakers as she threw them against the wall, a cloud of black powder filling the corridor.
" What the hell is this "
" Ange wh-."
Ange covered her mouth and darted off with Momoka as Jasmine and Salia were left sneezing and blinded. "I'm so glad I kept those on me so I could cook whenever I wanted!"
"You've gotten pretty bold!" Ange said, Momoka chuckling even as she and Ange began sneezing themselves.
"You must be rubbing off on me a bit, Lady Angelise."
Since the battle had started, Jill and the operators had long since made it to the Aurora deep beneath Arzenal. The massive ship remained docked but everything within was up and running, the operator trio at their new stations while Jill manned the primary line for it. Jill was grimacing a bit now as her line to Salia was suddenly filled with sneezing.
"What happened?" Jill asked Salia of the situation.
"Ange got away." Salia coughed from the black pepper powder that the maid used.
"Capture her immediately." Jill ordered this time.
"Commander, there's a message for you from the outside!" Olivier said. "It's frequency 153."
"Patch it through."
"It's been a long time, Alektra." Tusk replaying. "Is Ange safe?"
"She just ran off."
"What about Kaito?"
"He's on the front-lines engaging the enemy fleet. Will you assist in capturing her?"
"I'll find her."
"Make sure you do." She ordered as she set down the comms.

Making their way up through the base had brought Ange and Momoka to the upper end of the cafeteria. Since the Villkiss hadn't been moved yet, Ange's plan was to get to it and take off. But first she had to get her gear, meaning their first goal was to make it to the locker room.
"We should be able to get there through here." Momoka said, generating Mana to give them some light. And the two girls were stunned at what that light revealed to them.
All around the cafeteria, bodies lay twisted and charred to nothing but husks. Momoka brought a hand up as she gasped, and Ange felt her blood run cold as it brought back images of the burning DRAGONs before her body clenched up and she vomited again.
"Lady Angelise! Stay here, I'll go get some water!" Momoka ran off behind the counters of the cafeteria, leaving Ange to try and steady herself as she looked over the carnage. 'What the hell? Is this what the humans will do to us? Why?' It was a question she had no answer to before she remembered how Kaito pointed out to her that she was just like the humans.
"You only realize what matters once it's lost to you." Someone commented. Ange snapped around and was greeted by a tall, blonde man striding down the stairs. His green eyes looked over the bodies with a disappointed glint to them as his lips twisted into a frown.
"This idea has remained true through all ages. Such a heinous act. I don't recall permitting this. No, rather, it was your brother who ordered this massacre."
"What?!" Ange snapped at the proclamation .
"You'll find him fourteen kilometers away due north-northeast. He's come to make mincemeat out of you. These girls were, in effect, collateral damage." The unknown intruder said.
Before Ange could demand any further answers, a gunshot and a scream was heard . 'Momoka!' Ange realized that her friend might have been attacked. She ran off without a thought, finding two men standing over Momoka as she held up a Mana shield. The girl was clutching her right shoulder. Ange drew her pistol and fired twice, the first shot hitting the invader in the head and the other in the shoulder, sending him to the floor.
"You did this?!" She demanded. "Under my brother's orders?!"
"You're… Angelise." The soldier lifted his arm to try and fire, Ange shooting his hand and sending the gun to the floor. Rage was burning in the girl's eyes as she glared at the man. "Wait, please! I was just following the Emperor's or-" Ange fired at him until she emptied her clip, continuing to pull the trigger even after it hit empty.
"Lady Angelise!" Momoka cried as she threw her arms around her mistress. "Please stop! It's okay! We're fine now!"
Slowly, Ange calmed down and she looked over her shoulder. The man had vanished. But, Ange didn't have the time for that now. 'My brother is out there, and now I know where he is.' Memories of how he humiliated her and condemned her rising to the surface.
"I have to go." Ange was determined. 'I won't do it for Jill or this damn Libertus thing. But I'm not going to let this one go. Human or DRAGON, I don't care anymore. I just want people to stop f*** around with my life!'
Topside, a group of soldiers were running towards a waiting transport. In the arms of one, Vivian was being carried. Now they were returning to the fleet. Or at least that was the plan before the transport blew up right before their eyes. From behind them, Tusk took advantage of their shock to launch a surprise attack. The sudden appearance of the unknown boy distracted the soldiers just long enough for Tusk to take out the first four with his gun before leaping over the shoulder of the one carrying Vivian and stabbing him through the back of his neck, killing him instantly.
"Tusk coming in, I'm topside." As he called Jill. "Where's Ange?"
"About that." Jill said, just as the familiar roar of Para-mail engines caught his attention. Tusk turned just in time to spot the Villkiss shooting out of the hangar.
"Geez! That crazy woman!" Tusk looking at the Villkiss.
"Potato chips…" someone murmured, making Tusk turn back to the girl he had rescued. 'Well, no better option. I can at least get her somewhere safe first.' Gently picking the girl up, Tusk started off towards his Air Runner. 'I'll have to trust Kaito with Ange for now'. As much as he didn't like Kaito he's probably the only person that can fight side by side with Ange.

Ange engaged the enemy drones. As she was volleying through the seemingly endless buzzing locusts, No matter how many times she fired her machine gun destroying the drones they would be replaced. Then a sudden burst of gunfire came from behind as Salia's Arquebus charged in at the Villkiss and she was pissed.
"Ange, return now!" Salia shouted frustrated. The moment an opening appeared Salia placed her machine in front of Villkiss, rifle pointing at the cockpit. "Why don't you get it?! That you were chosen! By Alektra, by Villkiss!"
"….." Ange said nothing.
Salia screamed. "My role, my place you took all of it! And you don't even care! I won't let you just throw it all away!"
"I liked it, you know. I liked it here. This wretched, s***, atrocious place. Everything tasted like s***, and sometimes the people were no better. But I liked living here. And he destroyed it! That's why I'm going!" Ange reminisced about how her life was in Arzenal. Everything was s*** but everyone didn't have masks like in the Empire hiding their real motive.
The Villkiss shot forward, rushing towards Salia and severing the Arquebus's arms before Salia could even counter. "Ange what the hell?!"
"If either of you get in my way, I'll kill you!" Ange said as she kicked Salia aside and shot off towards the fleet.
The Villkiss started to glow. But rather than golden like before, this time it was red. A flaming aura coated the body, moving down along its sword to form a blade beam saber.
"Damn her… damn her!" Salia shouted. "I won't just let her run off with the victory! Ange you… you f***!"

During the Time Ange was busy with Salia.
"Let's not let Kaito have all the fun!" Naomi's Halberd's engines flickering in time with her anticipation.
"Let's go…Vice Captain." Chris looked across to Hilda's Glaive, the redhead nodding from the comm line.
"Garm Squadron, let's go!" Hilda commanded. 'Being Vice Captain is a bit different. I'm fine with it.' She admitted. All those many times she'd bickered with Salia over her command came back to Hilda, and she suddenly understood the pressure Salia had been under. 'Guess that's another one I'll have to apologize for.' Unlike Kaito who seems used to being a leader.
Hilda, Rosalie, and Naomi's machines were already exiting the hangar and engaging as the drone entered at speed, sparking from damage and missing most of its blades. Except it aimed right for Chris's Howser pulling up from the rear, ramming into the Para-mail, sending Chris crashing into one of the support beams.
"Chris!" Rosalie looked at her condition.
"Hang in there Chris!" Rosalie shouted. "We'll save you!"
"Thanks… Rosa-" only to be cut off as an explosion flared out from the hangar. Rosalie's eyes widened in horror as she saw the remains of Chris's Howser falling through the rubble, and she was gone.
"God damn it…" Rosalie growled as she saw her beloved die as tears formed in her eyes, Rosalia, swept her rifle across the storm. "I'll kill all of you b***!". In anger, she continues her assault on the drones but unknown to anyone a certain Blonde was walking towards Chris' broken body where she crashed.

Ersha's rifle buzzed as she aimed at the last few soldiers between her and the class. She knew the children had likely been stuck there since the fighting had begun and she couldn't rest easy until she knew all of them were safe.
As she entered the room, the hope Ersha had for things died as she slowly took in what was in there. The entire room was burnt to a husk. And at the window were the burnt bodies of the children. Ersha fell to the floor as she felt something inside of her break.
"I'm sorry." Ersha sobbed as she fell to her knees. "I'm sorry… I'm so sorry." As the older sister cried her eyes out, there was also a rhythmic humming in the air as someone approached Ersha during her vulnerable state.
Every available rider tried to fight back but there were just too many drones.
Hilda was overwhelmed by the drones, if she took down one ten more would take its place "I can't keep this up!" She fired her rifle at the enemy again but they just kept coming.
Then the drones flew towards her blind spot, " S***!" as she saw them coming they were about to latch onto and capture her. It exploded as help arrived with a familiar para-mail on sight "Kaito you're here." as she shouted happily that he came to save her.
Kaito arrived a little late as those drones were persistent and were making his rendezvous with the others hard but he managed to arrive just in time.
"What's the situation Hilda?" he asked professionally.
"Bad. We've already lost a lot of riders and the drones are endless". As both of them are back to back.
"Then I just need to cut off the head, it's the only way" as he glares towards the Mitsurugi fleet, the cause of all this.
"That's suicide even for you!".
"I know but it's the only way. Too many have died today, I'm ending this now. Call everyone and huddle together, don't be separated or they will surround you. It should be enough to buy you time and take this" Kaito gave her his sonic arrow.
"But-" Hilda was shocked that Kaito was giving her his most powerful weapon.
"Use it to save everyone here, I'm trusting you."
"I understand and be careful."
Kaito nodded and flew straight towards the fleet.
Hilda looked as the man she loved flew towards the fleet alone before one of the drones came towards her. She uses the sonic arrow and slashes the drones easily "I like this weapon." she glared towards the rest and attacked.

Kaito was tearing through the disk drones with ferocity using only his spear and rifle as they kept coming. It was then that those things managed to grab hold of him, huddling around him and preventing him from moving. "I'm not going to let some unmanned drone beat me and let the low life emperor win!"
Then the paramail changed color as it became dark blue and with such monstrous strength it tore through the drones like paper using only it's metallic hands.
Kaito doesn't know how and why it doesn't matter as he flew towards the cause of this invasion. He kept tearing the destroyers with ease as he reached one of them, the metallic claws tearing the ship's hull like paper before it exploded leaving the Overlord unharmed. The next one he burst through from below avoiding the missiles as they detonated against the ruined ship.
The carnage continues as half the entire fleet of the Empire was sunk and destroyed by just one Para-mail.
Ange still wasn't entirely sure what was going on with the Villkiss, but she wasn't questioning why it turned red. Especially when it was making it so much easier for her to rip her way through the swarm of drones between her and the fleet. She'd just managed to cut through most of them when a barrage of missiles came her way, Ange disable most of them but two got through from behind. She tried to shoot them down but the last one got through and slammed right into the Villkiss. But rather than exploding, Ange barely felt a thing as Villkiss's red glow only intensified.
"A barrier huh?" She murmured. "Well then…"
Changing to flight mode as the drones swarmed, Ange charged right through. The barrier sent any drones that crashed into the Villkiss up in flames, the machine was like a flaming meteor in the sky as it dove towards the ship. Any anti-air fire was also stopped by the barrier, and Ange brought her machine charging right through the front of the ship. The Villkiss burst out from the other end which sent the whole ship up in flames.
Ange charged through more of the ships and shot towards another and yet another as the Villkiss shifted forms. The sword was brought out, and Ange cut the ship right down through the bridge tower, the whole thing exploding.
"Where is Julio!?" The former princess demanded looking around as she saw the flagship and a familiar para-mail already crashing into it. Ange easily deduced that is where her brother is and took off.
Julio's mood aboard the Murakumo had been getting more frustrated by the moment as the battle began changing its pace entirely. As the blue unknown para-mail was tearing its way through the fleet Julio wouldn't feel satisfied with any of this unless his wretched abomination of a sister was finally dead.
"How are those fools losing!" Julio growled. "It's just one damned-" his rant was cut off as the sound of a gunshot was heard in the bridge as those guarding Julio died suddenly to reveal the Kaito as his gun still aiming at the Emperor.
"Who are you? You dare threaten the Emperor!" As he tries to intimidate the intruder.
Rather than saying anything Kaito quickly dashed forward and punched the Emperor in the face, he wasn't done yet as Kaito got on top of him pummelling him over and over. Riza had vanished through the rear door of the bridge
All that the Emperor could do was scream in pain and begged it to stop.
In Kaito's mind he remembers the charred husks, the dead bodies of Norma lying around because of this man. With one last punch, Julio's face was bruised and swollen.
"Tell your soldiers to stop, if not I'll cut your arms off this time." to prove his point he broke Julio's legs as he screamed like a b***.
"Ngh…" Julio groaned as he opened a mana screen. "This is Holy Emperor Julio I. All units, cease combat and retreat from Arzenal."
The front of the bridge was cut open with the Villkiss hovering in front of him. Julio screamed in terror and fell back, not even noticing Kaito backing away. The Villkiss's cockpit opened and Ange rose into view, and Julio was even more scared.
"Angelise." spoke the Emperor as he saw his former sister alive and well.
"Kaito!" Ange was surprised to see him and that her brother had been beaten to a pulp with broken legs as Kaito was still aiming his weapon at the Emperor on the head.
"It's over, Ange. Julio has ordered the fleet to stop the attack and retreat ".
"It's not over! Because of him so many people are dead! This scum should die!"
"W-Wait! I'm sorry! I'll do anything you ask! I know, I'll reinstate you into the royal family! Angelise, please! It's not a bad offer, isn't it?! Please don't kill me!"
Ange hearing this felt more shame knowing his brother was this shameless. "How shameless are you, I should kill you Julio right now."
"I know this scum would be better off dead but if you're the one who killed him you will regret for the rest of your life Ange. It's better if he's alive "
The so-called Emperor felt hope.
"Besides we can still use this scum as a bargaining chip against the Empire. Afterall who could resist a royal hostage." Julio then felt all of hope was lost.
"I know what he did and I would love to toss this garbage to the sharks. But he has much more use for us alive, also you can use him as your punching bag"
Hearing Kaito's logic all her anger subsided but it doesn't mean she would forgive him. "I will never forgive you for what you did. You may be scum but you're useful scum and I'll be enjoying paying back all the humiliation that you gave me that day." Julio shrieked in fear knowing that he would be tortured.
Then appearing as if from nowhere, a black Para-mail marked in purple hovered between Julio, Kaito and the Villkiss. Its head bore a far more face-like design than the most Para-mails. Standing on its shoulder was the man Ange had seen in Arzenal.
"Lord Embryo!" Julio's scream now was one of relief as the two machines drew away from each other. "Kill her! Kill Angelise! Do it now!"
"Embryo?" Ange repeated the name.
"Ange, you are beautiful." Embryo said. "Your anger is pure and white. It rages strongly, its heat unsurpassed. You're like a burning flame rising up against injustice and absurdity. A noble, beautiful flame… I cannot let such a flame be tarnished by burning up things without value. So I will do it instead. I will carry the burden of that sin." As she tried to make sense of what he was rambling about, Embryo's machine flew upwards, turning back towards the Murakumo below as the man began to sing.
The wings of the black machine opened and revealed the same weapons as the ones on the Villkiss's shoulders. Knowing what was to come, Ange pulled the Villkiss away. Kaito did hesitate slightly as he called the Overlord it came and quickly jumped into the cockpit while holding the Emperor by his wrist as they flew. He still needs him as a bargaining chip.
As the weapons gleamed, the vortexes of warped spacetime collided with the Murakumo. And when the flash of light faded, nothing was left of the ship and the fleet, just a deep hole in the ocean water. Embryo turned to the crimson Para-mail. Its return meant well for the man.
"Lord Embryo, why?" asked the Emperor with a look of betrayal.
Embryo decided to humor him. "I told you to capture the Norma and the base, not destroy it. As such you have no use for me. Don't worry I'll tell Slyvia that you died honorably."
"It seems you have no further use then." as the Emperor was dangling onto Kaito, hanging from him like a Pinata.
"Wait, save me I'll do anything! I'm still Emperor. I can give you money, nobility, women, anything you want just save me."
"Can you give back all the life you took"? Kaito asked looking at the shocked pathetic look on Julio's face. "I didn't think so." The Rider released the grip and let the scum fall to the ocean with a huge splash.
"Help me please! I can't swim!" as his legs were broken and there was no one around. His army destroyed by Embryo's WMD, sharks had already finished off half of the survivors. And just like that he sank to the bottom of the ocean.
"How barbaric." Embryo looking at Kaito execution. Embryo was glaring at the Ovelord a Ragna-mail that he stole from Aura, before it could be used. Aura designed the mechs similar to his Ragna-mail just to spite him. Before either of them could say anything more, a sudden gleam came from Arzenal. The eyes of all three turned to it as the gleam turned into a steady, bright emerald glow.
"Begin irrigation." Jill ordered.
"Beginning irrigation." Olivier replied, pressing a switch that began to fill the hangar with water.
"No life signs detected within Arzenal." Hikaru said. "All survivors have been relocated." As everyone who was left alive boarded the hidden ship.
"Main engine critical in ten seconds." Pamela relayed. "Water levels up eighty percent. All floodgates closed."
"Transmit encrypted rendezvous coordinates to all active Para-mail." Jill ordered.
"Roger."
"Full gauge!"
"Release the restraint arm. Open the gates. Ease ahead!" The ship began to rock as the engines began to whir for the first time in a decade, a hum going throughout the entire vessel. "Aurora, taking off!"
"What the hell is all this?!" Ange demanded, the Villkiss now having long since returned to its normal color. "What are you?" Ange was looking at the Blonde that not only destroyed the entire fleet easily but was piloting a paramail just by standing beside it. Embryo gave a soft smile before his machine shifted back, a spray of bullets going where it had just been. Ange followed the line of fire, spotting Tusk's Air Runner rushing across the water's surface. As her image zoomed in on him, she also saw a comatose Vivian strapped to the boy's back.
"Ange, that man is dangerous!" Tusk warning over the comms, shooting another burst that Embryo easily dodged. "Get away! Now!"
"That Idiot!" shouted Kaito who also flew to help Tusk. Whatever it was that para-mail screamed dangerous. Only Kaito was already tired, pushing his body too hard and now Tusk trying to take down that new impossible enemy.
"What an annoying pest." Embryo muttered. "Sing, sing, the two wishes are now one, strongly, strongly shining in heavenly gold."
"S***!" Ange shot the Villkiss downwards as soon as Embryo began singing. The only thought on her mind as those cannons began to charge was stopping them from vaporizing Tusk and Vivian. "I won't let you!"
As Ange screamed, her ring glowed brightly followed by Kaito. As the Villkiss turned to attempt to guard when the cannons fired, its body turned blue. And the second before the space warping blasts hit, it, the Air Runner, and the other para-mail vanished in a glint of light. When the blast died down, Embryo saw not a trace of any of them, frowning as he knew that they escaped.
I'll repeat myself I have no excuses for how late this is. I have removed a lot of line breaks so you can put them back in if you and to. I noticed you starting a lot of sentences with And, As and Then. Using these so frequently created a feeling of things dragging on. I hope that removing some and changing others made things flow better.
