How the Electric Company came to be
Third Person's P.O.V.:
The Electric Company is one of the best group of kids you will ever meet. They are just like us but only with special skills and powers. No body knows the origins of this group some say it was founded in the 1700s, 1800s, or during the War but it doesn't matter now. Our story begins and takes place right here in the city that never sleeps. Yep, New York City, well in this case Brooklyn a suburb of the town. It was quiet on this summer day where four people were walking down the wonderful streets of the place they call home. The youngest girl of the group who looked to be 12 years old with brown hair, fair complexion face, hazel brown eyes and was very creative while enjoying the walk around the neighborhood with her family and friends. That's our girl for this story. Lauren Jacinta Ruiz, the sweetest person ever with a huge secret, even if she doesn't know it. Next to her is a tall and handsome young man with the same complexion as Lauren but brown hair that is tended to be a bit darker with soft blue eyes, and can be described according to her as an above all flirt, crazy, and funny. That's her big brother Hector. Next to him with black curly hair is his sister Jessica, lover of hip hop and everything in between. Oh we must mention throughout Lauren's life as a baby, she, Hector and Jess had a big brother named Jayden who honestly loved and cared for his little sister when she was little. He often sang a lullaby of "You'll be in my Heart" to her when she was ready for bed. Her dad played a part in this too. He was kind, sweet and compassionate yet willing to fight as a warrior and defend those who he cares for. Yep, life was perfect for them until one day Jayden and her dad left Brooklyn to head towards New Zealand which they made safely to and a few years later got word they disappeared. No one knows where or how they vanished but the family vowed to keep high until all is resolved.
Okay, were getting off track here and your wondering how did the company come to be now? Well, it started when Hector was nine years old while Lauren was 3 we think and he discovered the power of creating word balls after playing on the playground. In the oddest way possible. Let's just say it was a surprise to all. Since that day, he learned to understand the power and using a special skill which is kind of cool. Now, I know your thinking did Lauren get it? Nope, she didn't. You see her destiny is a big one and we do mean big, details will come later on but more importantly pay attention people. Our story is just getting started. As mentioned four people were walking down the streets of Brooklyn and next to Jess, was a girl with blonde hair and that smile was Lisa Heffenbaucher, best friend to Jess if not mentioned already. She and Jess discovered the power shortly after Hector found it and had different special skills to use such as unscrambling words and playing back recordings. Okay, caught up to speed huh? Well, there's more to our story and its starting right here. Here on the day this group of friends and family decided to put their skills to good use.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
"Seems to me guys, you got these powers a long time ago and you don't know what to do exactly," I told my sister, brother and friend as we walked. "Your right Lauren. I feel like its the thing with powers and superheroes," Lisa thought. "You might be onto something Lisa," Hector told her. "What do you mean," she asked. "Well, they discovered it meaning we did back when we were kids and now were trying to figure out what to do with these things. After all, superheroes don't have it right off the bat," Hector explained trying to make a word ball. "I know what you mean Hector, but I feel it's something with us," she admitted. "True but who knows," I shrugged. "Yeah who knows," Hector agreed before something came our way like a word ball only in purple. "Huh," we asked confused before a letter changed on the sign near us from stop to go. "Ok, that's weird," I noticed. "Well, what do we do if its weird," Hector asked. "Change it," the three of us smiled and he did just that with the word ball. "Pfew. That's good news, now come on who wants snacks at the apartment," Lisa asked. "Oh I do," I smiled as we walked back to the apartment but soon saw a whole bunch of signs changed. "Okay honestly this day is keeps getting odd or I'm having another dream again," Hector realized only this time they had codes and scrambled words in between. "No, your not having another dream big brother," Jess told him.
"Well, I'm not surprised on that," a voice we all knew sounded. We turned to see four figures near our apartment. Well, Jess, Hector and I's so to say. The first figure was a girl wearing posh like clothing with a blazer, headband and knee high socks who looked at Hector with a look that we became uncomfortable with, that's Francine Carruthers. Word of wisdom, yikes. Standing next to her was a guy much like my age or older but wore baseball hats and had a backpack filled with gadgets on his arm and on the ground was a tiny robot that moved with him. Meet Manny Spamboni, limerick slam champion and not to mention my brother's rival. Beside Manny, was a girl with a pixie like hair cut and wore polka dots while also holding a watch, that's Annie Scrambler. Last but not least, stood a boy wearing suspenders and a fedora. That's Danny Rebus. "Well, I must say Francine surprised to see you here. Manny," Hector greeted. "Hello Hector. Like the new signs around here," Manny smirked. "Uh no," he admitted. "Why don't you," he asked. "Because, they are street signs that's why," Jess snapped. "Oh please like we knew that," he scoffed. "Did you see the sign over there," Lisa asked pointing to the sign over by us. "No changing unless, oh," they realized. "Okay, that was easy. Now, if you will excuse us, were going to have some snacks," I smiled walking away. "Oh yeah, run from your problems Chicken Pot pie," Manny taunted. Uh oh! Hector soon faced Manny after he said that. "What did you just say Manny," he asked slowly. "Nothing," he lied before Hector walked away. Soon, we felt a stomp on the ground and saw the words changed once again. "Annie, really," Lisa asked. "Oh come on, why is it always me," she whined to her. "Oh nice try Ms. Perfect," Lisa told her before making a word ball changing the sign back to normal and unscrambling the signs again.
"Great, they always get to correct everything," Danny groaned. "Yeah how come you said this was fool proof Francine," Manny asked her. "I didn't know and besides they get the spotlight more than we do when really we want their special skills," she told them. "What," Jess, Hector and Lisa shouted. "Nothing," she lied. "What is it about stealing our special skills," Jess asked. "Uh nothing," she denied. "Oh come on just give us your skills please? We want to take over the world and rule the neighborhood," Manny pleaded. "No way Jose," they told them. "Yeah not you bad guys," Jess smiled. "You calling us bad guys," she asked them. "Uh yeah," I admitted for them. "Fine. You want us to be bad guys then fine but just know this guys, we will take over this town one day and make you all look bad," they laughed before walking away. "Those Pranksters'," Jess growled. "I know sis but there is one thing we have to do right now and that is say three words," Hector admitted. "Which are," she asked. "Hey you guys," I smiled before we all heard the scratching of music on a DJ board.
Lisa's P.O.V.:
"Sounds like Shock is spinning his tunes again," I noticed. "Yeah come on lets go join," Lauren said heading over to the music as we started dancing and soon sang, "Feel the power, feel the power," and soon we got into the music before Jess rapped which was pretty fun. "Turn it on, and you will see that you belong in the Company," I sang as the others danced before Shock joined in as we had a fun time. "Electric Company," we all sung together and since that day that was our group name cemented in history and would grow bigger as time went on.
