Lauren and Jessica meet Keith

Third Person's P.O.V.:

The sun rose over Brooklyn revealing it's warm and gentle rays to world as a Honda Civic drove through the streets of the New York neighborhood. The Civic took a left turn onto an apartment complex and the driver who was a dark skinned person wearing a pale blue long sleeve shirt and jeans. His hair was curly like the one people see in the films almost. As he drove the car to the complex, the person in the back seat was sleeping and dreaming of a dream someone can expect in his mind. "Wake up champ, were here," the dad gently told his son. As the young person woke up, he stepped out of the car to see his new home. The young teenager smiled at this place which looked amazing. The name of the person was Keith Jamel Watson. Keith looked around at his surroundings while his father moved their items into the apartment after speaking with the land lord.

(Now)

Keith's P.O.V.:

Oh, hi guys. Didn't see you there. I'm Keith, Keith Jamel Watson to be exact. I'm 12 years old and just moved to Brooklyn from Chicago two days ago. I have to admit, its going to take some time getting through this adjustment and all even with today. I mean, I'm a little scared because Brooklyn Middle had their first day back I think like a few days ago and today well, I'm starting there. It's my first day after getting all the paperwork ready to go. Thanks again dad. "Hey Keithster, big day day today," dad smiled coming into the kitchen of our apartment. "Sure is dad," I smiled somewhat through my breakfast. That's my dad Leo. He's amazing and I love him to death plus he can cook! Not going to lie, dad loves cooking but also acting. He once stared in Broadway shows before meeting my mom which is pretty awesome. Dad dreams of opening a restaurant where everyone can try out the cuisine and believe it or not, it's going to happen! He purchased a building area where a diner's going to be and I'm excited to see that happen. Oh, I can't wait. "What's wrong champ? You should be excited. Today's your first day at a new school," dad said seeing my face. "Honestly Dad, I would be excited but I'm scared," I told him. "Scared about what champ," he asked. "About being the new kid. We honestly hadn't been here long and I hadn't made any friends," I told him.

"Well Keith, the best advice I can give you is be who you are, don't worry about what others think. The Watson's never let anything define us. I'm sure Mom would say the same thing if she were here," dad explained. My mom died in a car accident back in Chicago when I was five. It took a big hit for me and Dad. He was having a hard time busing tables at the jobs he did in order to keep the house rolling and me alive. Eventually, dad resigned from his jobs and thanks to some of the benefits he saved, we decided to move here to Brooklyn for a new start. "Thanks dad. I know I can't count on you," I told him. "Your welcome champ, now you better hurry and put your clothes on before you leave for school," he told me happily. I quickly went up the stairs and opened the door to my room painted with blue walls, brown curtains and skateboards of some kind on the wall. I opened my drawers and got the clothed for today which was a green T-shirt, American Eagle jeans, and Nike white sneakers. I came back down the stairs afterwards grabbing my backpack already with school supplies and dad got the keys to the car that would take me to Brooklyn Middle School.

Jessica's P.O.V.:

Beep, Wake up girlfriend! Beep. My alarm clock rang signaling me to get out of bed. I was getting ready to hit that snooze button again as I laid in bed. I didn't expect the wakeup call until my sister plopped down on top of me. "Five more minutes, Lauren," I muttered. "We can't Jess. It's school wake up. I don't want Hector getting the water guns out again," she said jumping on my bed. I honestly did not want to get out of bed right now even with water guns. Well, I can't go at this rate too long. I quickly jumped out of bed and put on my clothes for toady which were dark blue shorts, black converse sneakers, a white high low T-shirt, and a blue hoodie. Complete with a pink scarf and my star necklace Hector got me for my birthday of course.

Lauren's P.O.V.:

I just finished packing my stuff for school when the smell of pancakes greeted our apartment/house you would say. That could mean one thing, Hector is making breakfast for us! I walked into the kitchen to find Hector already making pancakes. "Morning Hector," I told him coming over to the kitchen. "Morning sis. I got pancakes up and rolling for you guys," he smiled. "Yum," I grinned as he plated some on my plate and maple syrup all set and ready to pour. "Hey where's Jess," he asked. "Oh she's coming. I guess she had to get something else from her room," I told him. Jess soon came downstairs as I wondered where she was. "Hey Jess," Hector greeted her. "Morning Hector. Thanks for making breakfast," she greeted him. "No problem, figured it would help mom out after all the waitressing and office work she did last night," Hector admitted. Mom sometimes helps with banquets over the weekend and during the week is an office secretary in town which is pretty cool. "So, you guys ready for school," Hector asked sitting down while watching Good Morning America. "Yep. Third day back and Sean's home from vacation," I replied. Sean Matthews is my best friend beside the others of course and my sister. He was on a two week Disney Cruise in the Caribbean for the summer and today was the day he would be back in school. I was super excited to see him since it has been a while. "Oh yeah I forgot about Sean coming home. Tell him I say hey Lauren," Hector told me. "Will do big brother," I replied. The clock soon chimed and it 6:45 which meant we had to hurry to catch the 7:00 bus to school. "Come on Jess, we have to go. Don't want to be late," I told my sister. "Coming," she muffled through some pancakes as we finished breakfast and soon got our backpacks and coats ready to go. "Bye Hector see you later," we called to our brother as we left the apartment. "Bye you two, have fun at school," he told us as we ran over to the bus station to take us to school in time.

Keith's P.O.V.:

Brooklyn Middle was really hard to see from the window of my dad's car. I'm honestly still nervous about today after all it is my first day here so I'm not sure what to expect. "You still nervous bud," dad asked me as he drove. "Yeah," I told him with a soft smile. "I know your scared buddy. It's hard being the new kid when school just started but if I know you. You can do it. Be kind and make sure to have some people to help and who knows they may become your friends," dad spoke while focused. "You think so dad," I asked. "I know so," he smiled. He soon arrived at the middle school which I could see through window and it looked nice I have to admit. Dad soon turned into the drop off lane where many students were staring to get out from parents cars and dad reached the area to drop me off.

I unbuckled my seat belt and got my backpack ready to go with everything. "Have a good day champ, love you," dad said hugging me. "Love you dad," I replied giving a kiss on the cheek as I opened the door to the car and got everything. I soon closed the door and dad drove off. I got everything with me, thanks goodness and I looked at the doors to the middle school. "Well, here goes nothing," I breathed before opening the doors to Brooklyn Middle School.

To my surprise of students talking with everyone at their lockers, teachers going to the mailboxes, and everyone just doing something different. Man this was early for them. I smiled at this as I walked over to the principal's office. Many students looked at me like who is he; but I didn't let it bother me at once. I walked down some stairs before arriving at the principal's office and opened the door. "Good morning," the secretary greeted me. "Good morning. I'm looking for Mr. Jones is he here," I replied back. " Yes he is. May I ask why," she replied. "Oh I'm a new student here. I just moved from Chicago a few days. My records were sent in," I explained. "Oh, what's your name," she asked. "Keith, Keith Jamel Watson," I said giving her my name looking at the records. "Oh yes there you are. I see your name right there. I'll let Mr. Jones know you're here. Welcome to Brooklyn Middle Keith," the secretary told me. "Thank you uh Miss-," I started to say. "It's Jennings," she told me. "Oh. Thank you Ms. Jennings," I told her. "Your welcome. Please have a seat. Mr. Jones will be right with you," she told me walking over to Mr. Jones's office and closed the door to speak with him. I sat back down in my chair waiting looking at the latest issue of People. I'm nervous. I heard the door to Mr. Jones's office open and I looked up to see him come greet me. He wore a black suit with a white shirt and blue tie. "Ah, you must be Keith Watson, our new student welcome to Brooklyn Middle. I'm Mr. Jones, principal of the school," he introduced. "Nice to meet you Mr. Jones," I smiled. "You too Keith please come in," he said leading me into his office. It looked roomy and I could not wait to get this started for me.

Lauren's P.O.V.:

Jess and I arrived at school a few minutes ago. I saw students who were stunned about something or going about business. Did something happened that Jess and I missed out on? I'm not sure. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my buddy Sean Matthews waiting by the lobby looking golden with that tan he got. Man, I hope he didn't get sunburned on the cruise. "Sean," I called to him. He soon looked up to see me as I called his name and walked right over. "Lauren," he greeted me. I gave him a big hug because I hadn't seen him in a while. "Hey welcome back dude," I smiled. "Thanks. I have to admit, it feels great being back now," he smiled. "I bet," I replied. "Hey Sean," Jess smiled. "Hey Jess. How was your summer," he asked. "Really well did a lot of day trips to the city, going to baseball games. You know stuff like that," Jess said ratting off a list. "Man a lot huh," Sean told me. "Yep but how was the cruise," I asked. "Awesome! Perfect weather all around," he told us. "Your serious." Jess asked. "Yep indeed. Come on, I tell you guys more at homeroom," he said. "Okay," we smiled and started walking over to our lockers climbing the steps to the second floor of the school with our backpacks on. "So how's Hector? I know the last time I saw him was before I left for the cruise," Sean asked as we arrived at our lockers. "Well Hector is being bragging self again," Jess muttered. "Was he now Lauren," he asked. "A little bit but we kept him in line," I smiled. "There you go but I can't believe we are in 7th grade together the three of us. I think this year is going to be awesome," Sean smiled. "I think so my friend. Oh before I forget, did you notice some students who were stunned about something," I asked. "No I got in a few minuets ago and couldn't tell to be quite honest," he told us. "Hmm," I wondered. We soon arrived at 7 Orange homeroom and sat down at three desks listening to Sean talk about his cruise and ready to kick 7th grade into high gear.

Keith's P.O.V.:

Mr. Jones gave me the student handbook and I felt pretty confident in starting this school year right. "Now Keith, your schedule is being printed right now and I made sure the courses you have selected are put in. If you find something's off, let me know and I can talk with the school system to get it changed," Mr. Jones told me. "Thank you Mr. Jones. To be quite honest, it's probably going to take me a few days to get the layout of the school and understand everything," I told him. "Don't worry Keith, I understand completely. That happens a lot with new students and three of them are going to help you today," he assured me. "Really," I asked. "Yep and surprisingly their sisters and a friend," Mr. Jones told me. "Really two are sisters and one is a best friend," I asked. "Of course. Lauren and Jessica Ruiz along with Sean Matthews are the most helpful, mindful, students here and will help you out in anyway. Everyone mentions something about Lauren but I can't put my finger on it," Mr. Jones replied. "Hmm. I'm surprised as well but I'll take advantage of what I got," I replied. "That's the spirit," he smiled.

My schedule was soon printed and Mr. Jones walked me out of his office and I left for homeroom. I saw the sign for 7 Orange and I figured that is where my homeroom is. I got into one of the classrooms and saw students sitting in their chairs already but still talking to one another. I looked around to see the teacher at the head of room. "Good morning," she replied seeing me come in. "Good morning. I'm Keith Watson," I replied. "Ah yes. Mr. Jones just emailed me saying you will be in our cluster, welcome to 7 Orange. I'm Ms. Long one of the teachers," she introduced. "Pleased to meet you Ms. Long," I told her. "You as well Keith, now I understand you have the paperwork all filled in," she asked. "Yes my dad gave it to me to turn in today. Here it is," I answered handing her the envelope. "Ah very good. Now homeroom doesn't start for a little bit; but we are happy you are in our cluster," she smiled. "Thank you. Is there any desk I can sit in right now," I asked. "Of course, there's one over there by Lauren, Jess and Sean," she said pointing to the desk over by three students. "Thank you," I smiled and walked over to the desk and sort of sat down.

Lauren's P.O.V.:

"So, the ship was bigger in real life than what you would see on a screen. There was something for everyone and I loved it," Sean told us. "You did," I asked. "Yeah there was a lot of things you could do like riding on water slides, explore the Bahamas, go to Atlantis, snorkeling, you name it," Sean told us. "Your kidding dude, I never been on a cruise before that would be awesome," Jess smiled. "Yeah while we were there, they announced the new ship they are working on the Disney Dream I believe is set to sail in 2011. There in the final stages of getting everything, and I can't believe I'm putting a pun in here ship shape," he explained. "Wow. So a lot has been going on since you were on the cruise," I told him. "Really how so," he asked. "Hector almost got burned by Shock in a rap battle," Jess told him. "Seriously? He did," Sean asked. "Yeah trust us when we say it was not pretty," I admitted. "I can imagine believe me. Even when I told you guys about the two week Disney Cruise, I remember him saying and I quote next time tell Sean to take me with him or better yet let me sneak into his suitcase," Sean laughed as we continued to talk about the summer. Pretty soon, a student was sitting at the desks near Jess, Sean and myself. He was dark colored skin with black curly hair and he wore a green T-shirt with dark wash American Eagle jeans, a green backpack was with him and on his feet with grey Nike's with blue lace ups. "Hi there," I smiled looking at the guy who sat at the desk near us. "Oh uh hi. Did I disturb a conversation with you guys by sitting down," he asked. "Oh no, you didn't at all. We were just talking about the summer. Today's my first day back," Sean replied. "Oh, okay just wanted to make sure. Wait first day back," he responded. "He was on a two week Disney Cruise," I smiled. "Two week Disney cruise? Lucky," he replied. "I know I was jealous," I whispered to him. "Yeah; but lucky me indeed," Sean smiled. "Sean," Jess smiled and I just playfully rolled my eyes. "Say, we hadn't seen you before, have we met," I asked.

Keith's P.O.V.:

"Uh, no. No we haven't. I just moved to Brooklyn two days ago and today's my first day," I told them. The girl who asked the question earlier had a fair skin complexion and beautiful brown hair that almost went to her shoulders. She wore a purple long sleeve T-shirt with dark wash American Eagle jeggings, a neon blue backpack was near her as well. She wore grey New Balance sneakers like me but were colored in purple and blue. On her head was a newsboy cap that hid some of the hair and around her wrist was a friendship bracelet. The other girl near the first one had dark curly black hair and wore a white high low T-shirt with Demin shorts. Around her neck was a shooting star necklace. On her feet were black converse sneakers and she wore a crop top blue hoodie and a pink scarf around her neck. The guy sitting next to the one with dark curly hair had a similar complexion to the girls that was near me but glowed a little, I think. He had brown hair and soft blue eyes but wore a white T-shirt, blue shorts and a pair of Nike sneakers and had a red backpack next to him.

"Oh nice, that's amazing. Welcome to Brooklyn Middle and the neighborhood," they smiled. "Thanks. I'm Keith by the way, Keith Watson," I smiled. "Nice to meet you Keith. I'm Lauren, Lauren Ruiz. This is my little sister Jessica and best friend Sean," she introduced while pointing to her sister and friend. "Hi Keith nice to meet you. Welcome to the neighborhood," Jess smiled. "Same here guys and thanks," he smiled. "Just out of curiosity, where are you from originally," Sean asked. "Chicago," I told them. "Chicago," they asked. "Yeah almost the downtown part of Chicago something like that or a town over," I told them. "Wow, what made you decide to come over to New York from Chicago," Lauren asked. "Lauren," Jess scolded. "What honest question," she replied. "It's fine Jessica," I told her. "Hey you can call me Jess. Everybody calls me that," she responded. "Okay Jess what happened was, I lost my mother in a car accident when I was young and my dad was having a hard time keeping up with jobs that he had, so, we figured coming to Brooklyn would give us a fresh start," I explained. "Oh Keith, I'm so sorry to hear that," Sean told me. "It's okay but thank you," I smiled. "Don't mention it," he replied.

Jessica's P.O.V.:

"You know guys, I think Hector would love to visit Chicago," I told my sister and Sean. "Why so he can be in the musical," Sean asked. "No to see the place like Boston or NYC," I told them. "Oh okay," they realized. "Who's Hector," Keith asked. "Jess and I's big brother. He goes to the local community college here in town," Lauren told Keith. "Oh nice. Is he like you guys," he asked. "He is in his own way. Honestly, he's sort of like a dad figure to Lauren and I but mainly a big brother," I answered. "So I guess you three are siblings," he said to the three of us. "Oh no, no we aren't. Sean is Lauren's best friend she and I are sisters," I told Keith. "Oh okay, Mr. Jones was mentioning about you three when I was in the office earlier. "Huh, that's interesting," they shrugged. "So who's the youngest," Keith wondered. "Lauren's the youngest, I'm second oldest Hector is the oldest," I explained. "Second oldest," Lauren mumbled. "Okay second oldest but right now still the older brother," she told him. "Ah," he realized. "It is but we are more than happy to welcome you to our cluster Keith," Lauren smiled. "Thanks guys," he smiled. Afterwards, the bell rang time for school.

Lauren's P.O.V.:

The three of us were lucky to have Keith for most of the classes for today which I'm stoked. Ms. Long was going over the student council election announcements since it was that time of year again. Keith was introduced to everyone and they seemed interested about him just like Jess and I along with Sean. The bell rang at the end of homeroom and I got my stuff. "Okay Keith, ready for your first class," I asked coming near his desk. "You bet," he smiled as we walked across the hallway to Ms. Smith, our science teacher's room. Everybody was already at the lockers but I got stuff taken care of and so did Keith. "So, with science a lot of it is pretty self explanatory but Ms. Smith can help you in anyway," I told Keith as we entered her class room.

Keith's P.O.V.:

"Good morning Lauren," I heard the teacher greet her as she came in. "Morning Ms. Smith," she replied. "Seems your ready for science," she responded. "Sure am and can't wait," she grinned. "That's awesome Lauren," she smiled. "Oh. Ms. Smith, this is Keith Watson. He's a new student in our cluster," Lauren introduced me. "Oh yes. I saw it on the cluster email this morning. It's a pleasure to meet you Keith. I'm Ms. Smith, the science teacher for 7 Orange," she introduced herself. "Nice to meet you Ms. Smith. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and enjoying science class this year," I smiled shaking her hand. "That's what we love to hear Keith. Now, I know your just starting out but if you would like, you can sit with Lauren to look at the syllabus," she smiled. "I would appreciate that, thank you," I grinned. "Your welcome Keith. Please, come take a seat," she smiled as I walked to where Lauren was and sat next to her desk as the bell rang.

"Okay everyone, I trust you are all awesome this morning ready for science. Now before we begin with the syllabus review, I want to let everyone know we have a new student joining our cluster. Keith, can you stand up please," she smiled. I stood up and faced everyone. "This is Keith Watson everybody. He just moved from Chicago two days ago and today is his first day here. Keith, we are very happy to welcome you to 7 Orange and hope nothing but the best for you," she said to me. "Thank you," I grinned. "Now, let's go over where we read yesterday," she said as I looked over Lauren's syllabus while writing down some notes which would help me for sure. After the review, I went to my locker and placed some of my things in there. The best part is, my locker is right near Lauren's so, it's going to be fun I can tell. I can't wait to decorate it soon. I soon headed to gym with Lauren and Sean. Jess was in another class I think and didn't join us. "Hi Coach Jen," Lauren greeted one of the gym teachers as we walked in. "Oh good morning Lauren how are you," she asked. "Good coach. Ready for gym," she replied. "That's good," she smiled before looking at me. "Uh Coach Jen, right," I asked. "Yes that's me," she smiled. "I'm Keith. Keith Jamel Watson. I'm a new student here. I'm in Lauren and Sean's cluster," I introduced myself. "Oh. Well it's very nice to meet you Keith. Welcome to Brooklyn Middle," she smiled. "Thank you," I grinned. "The office did email me saying paper work is coming in, so if you would like you can hang around with Lauren today during class," she suggested. "I'm actually helping him today along with Jess and Sean coach so everything is all set," Lauren told her after getting changed into gym clothes. "Oh. Okay Lauren. Were glad to have you Keith," she smiled as she went to talk with the other teachers who came up and introduced themselves to me and soon everyone including me was having fun in a game of dodge ball.

Lauren's P.O.V.:

Lunchtime came for all of us and we ate in the cafeteria. Nacho day was here yes! I soon got my tray with Jess, Sean and Keith as we walked to the sound of students talking and calling each other across the room. The four of us sat down near the doors of the cafeteria so that way we can make room for class exit. Sean got nachos like me while Jess got a salad and Keith took out a lunch his dad got him. "So Keith, what are some of your hobbies," Sean asked in between food bites. "Well, I really love acting and making music," he told us. "You like making music and acting," Jess asked. "Sure do," he told us. "Nice. You know when Lauren was young she did a little bit of acting to," Jess told him. "You did some acting," he asked me. "Yeah I did. Back in elementary school I was in the school's production of High School Musical, and in 4th grade I was a samurai cat, then I did a camp for the summer and I was snoopy," I told him. "The dog from the peanuts comics," he asked. "That's the one," I answered. "Nice. I'm like you in a way Lauren, I did theater camp but also acted in little productions back in Chicago," he told us. "Nice. You know the middle school puts on great productions. I can't wait for the spring one this year," Sean added. "I heard it's suppose to be good," Jess added as well. "Okay so back to the subject on hand guys, do you like music Keith? I know you said you like making music as well," I asked. "I sure do," he told us. "Wow. What instruments do you play," Jess asked. "I play a little of bit of guitar and piano," he told us. "You play guitar and piano," Sean asked. "Yeah. My dad taught me when I was little," he answered. "Aww," we smiled. "Yeah what about you guys," he asked us. "Lauren and I played piano for a little bit growing up and she did violin as well; but I really love rapping. It's sort of became my talent over time," Jess told him. "Cool. You'll have to show me some time," Keith said surprised. "Sure will," Jess grinned.

"Hey Keith, I got to ask you. Do you a favorite music genre whether pop, hip hop, country," Sean said thinking of a list. "I like all types of music including country but some I can't understand like K-pop," he admitted. "Who doesn't understand K-pop," I agreed on the statement. "Yeah and I'm also a movie score junky," he told us. "Really? You like movie scores," I wondered. "Uh huh," he smiled. "Wow. I have to ask what is your favorite movie score," Jess asked. "I would say it has to be anything like Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings," he answered. "No way. Lauren, Sean and Hector are the biggest fantasy nerds here and they love fantasy movies and the scores," Jess told him.

"Which ones," he asked me. "Narnia for me. It's been my favorite ever since I can remember," I told him. "You like Narnia," he asked. "Like it? Love it. I once stayed up all night to see the movie. It was awesome," I cheered. "I can imagine but this is amazing I'm finding stuff in common with you guys," Keith smiled. "Sure is and honestly we are glad you came to the neighborhood dude," Jess smiled. "Thanks guys," he smiled as we continued lunch. "Hey I thought I heard the Ruiz and Matthews train," a voice sounded. We looked to see Officer Glenn, the school resource officer come on into lunch. "Hey Office Glenn," we said to him. "Hey you three. Sean welcome back dude, how was the cruise," he asked. "It was awesome Officer Glenn," Sean told him. "I can imagine. Honestly I wish I was there," he replied. " Let me guess, jealous," I asked. "A lot," he admitted. Sean, Jess and I just giggled as Keith looked confused. "Whose your new friend guys," Officer Glenn said looking at Keith. "Oh. This is," Lauren started to introduce. "It's okay Lauren. I can introduce myself, I'm Keith, Keith Watson. I just moved here two few days ago and this is my first day at Brooklyn Middle," Keith told him. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Keith. I'm Officer Glenn, the school resource officer here. Just to let you know if you need any help, by all means stop by my office," he smiled. "Thanks. I'll make sure," he told him. We soon finished lunch then went to tech ed class which was fun. Keith soon went to health with us and was so excited. The bell soon rang and we walked out of the school just in time for dismissal.

"Thank you guys again for helping me out with the school," Keith told us. "No need Keith. It's what friends do," Sean told us. "Yeah. Were considering you a part of our friend group pal," I smiled. "Oh you guys. I'm honored," he blushed. "And we mean it Keith. Hey, I was just thinking about this but how would you and your dad like come to by our house for dinner tonight? Our brother would love to meet you," Jess told him. "Let me check with my dad and see if its okay," he responded. "We'll give you our number to call so you can let us know," I said getting my phone out and entering the house number. "Thanks guys. I can't wait to meet your brother," he told us. 'Us too Keith. Hopefully we'll see you tonight," we called to him as we walked over to the Metro station to get home from school.

Keith's P.O.V.:

After saying goodbye to Lauren, Sean and Jess I walked over to dad's car to find me. "Hi dad," I greeted him getting into the car. "Hey champ how was school," he asked me. "It was great. I made some new friends today and honestly your right I think I will like it here," I told him. "You made some friends already," he asked. "Yep. Three actually," I told him. "Three," he asked. "Yeah two are sisters named Lauren and Jessica Ruiz, then the other one is named Sean Matthews," I explained. "Ruiz. The last name sounds very familiar. Oh now I remember," he realized. "You do," I pondered. "Yeah I sort of introduced myself to a young man when I was unloading more things from the car but couldn't quite figure out his name. Guess he had to hurry for class or something," he thought. "True. Oh, I forgot dad Jess and Lauren invited us to have dinner tonight with their family. Can we go," I told dad. "Of course. It would be great to get to know our neighbors. I have to admit Keith, you did have a good first day," he smiled as we drove off to home.

(At the Ruiz apartment)

Lauren's P.O.V.:

"Hector were home from school," I called out as Jess and I stepped into the apartment. "In my room Lauren," he called back as Jess and I went over to his room. "Hi big brother," Jess smiled. "Hey you two how was school," he asked. "Good we got a new student in our cluster today," Jess told him. "Really a new student within two days of the year starting," he asked us. "Yep," I smiled. "Wow, talk about a new record. Anyway, what's the new student's name," he wondered. "His name is Keith Watson and just moved here from Chicago with his dad," I explained. "Watson, Watson. Why does that last name sound, oh I remember now," Hector thought. "You do," Jess asked. "Yeah. I sort of met an older gentleman before I left the apartment for class. He's a nice guy," Hector smiled. "Sure is. Jess and I invited him and his dad for dinner tonight is that okay," I asked. "Of course. I can't wait to meet Keith. He sounds amazing. By the way did you guys see Seanie," he asked. "We did and you told me you were going to stop calling him Seanie and just go by Sean," I smiled. 'Dang it," Hector cursed. "Its okay but he's doing awesome," I smiled. "Good to hear. Now, why don't you guys relax for a little bit and then we'll get dinner rolling," Hector proposed. "Sure," we responded going to our rooms and relaxing. I decided to read my Narnia book for a bit. I felt something as I was reading my favorite part which is the coronation. My eyes showed me something, I never knew before. A scene of the coronation but me in front of one of the thrones. A girl standing by me but I couldn't see her face. "Your time is approaching Lauren, get ready to fulfill your destiny," she said at me. It soon faded and I couldn't figure out what it was. "Hey Hector, is dinner ready," I called to him shaking it out of my head and going to the dining room to help with dinner.

Wow. Finished two chapters in one day! That is a new record. I apologize for the delay everyone but bear with me as I get more ideas flowing.
