A/N: Hello, everyone! Thanks to those of you who have taken an interest in this story! It's gotten some good support so far for only the first couple chapters! Before we begin, I'll respond to a few reviews!

Guest: How powerful is the deviljho compared to lore wise because vs wiki not sure how accurate that website is it puts a standard deviljho at island level that way stronger than they all might in the website.

I wouldn't give complete trust to wiki's, my friend. They aren't always accurate. I'm pretty sure Deviljho is NOT island level. That's scaling it to Elder Dragons. Yes, it can fight Elder Dragons, but it's still not quite AS powerful as them. Even Savage Deviljho, which is what Daruka is, by the way, still only ties with Elder Dragons in a turf war. I can't quite say where our heroine sits on the power scale for spoiler reasons, but let's just say, despite being downgraded to human size, she's still quite powerful.

Merlinoi: This is a weird crossover but I'm down for it! Really, what made you think that putting a girl Deviljho in BNHA was a good idea? I mean, I can't say it didn't work and it wasn't entertaining but how did you think of doing that? No seriously sometime I really wonder what fanfic writer are thinking, well the more for me!

Well, originally, I had thought of doing a RWBY story with a team of Monsters made into Faunus (specifically Ebony Odogaron, Ivory Lagiacrus, Seregios and Alatreon), but I've already got two RWBY stories that I'm 3 volumes behind the current story on, so starting another seemed like a bad idea. Then this started stewing around in my head!

With all that out of the way, onto the story!

After landing on a roof and taking a moment to recover, Midoriya stood before All Might, preparing to ask him the question that has haunted him for years. Yes, Daruka had said what he hoped someone would finally tell him, but to hear it from his all-time favorite hero and life-long idol would be truly life-changing. "Is it possible to become a hero, even if I don't have a Quirk?!" He asked All Might as they stood on the roof. All Might stopped at the question. "I'm a normal kid without any powers. Could I ever hope to be someone like you?!" He asked, closing his eyes tightly, fearing the potential answer.

All Might turned back and looked at the boy behind him. "Without a Quirk?" He asked. But suddenly, the hero went into a state of shock and hunched over in pain, steam beginning to rise off of him. "Oh, no... Not now, dammit! Not here!" The hero cursed.

Midoriya opened his eyes and looked away sadly, somehow not noticing his all-time favorite hero hunched over, in pain, with steam rising off his body. "People think I don't have a chance... That not having powers makes me some kind of weakling... My classmates like to make fun of me... But you know, what? That makes me want to prove them wrong..." He explained, All Might now completely engulfed in steam. "The girl that I was with earlier finally told me I could be a hero, but to hear it from you... That would mean more than you could ever know." He added.

He opened his eyes and smiled a bit at this, although he was looking at the ground and STILL not noticing All Might was lost in the steam. "Ever since I was a little kid, I thought that saving people was the coolest thing you could do. I want people to see my fearless smile and feel safe." He explained, closing his eyes and smiling peacefully. "And be the kind of hero that everyone in the world looks up to." He went on, finally opening his eyes and looking at the hero. "Just like you!" He finished, the smoke clearing to reveal All Might, now incredibly skinny and frail-looking, and wearing oversized clothes.

Needless to say, he was seriously freaked out and screamed.

The opening finished and the show started back up at the Tatooin Shopping District, with a large arch saying "Welcome" to everyone there. In a back alley, one of the bottles of soda All Might contained the sludge villain in, the one containing the villain's eyes, was shown and the eyes opened tiredly and began looking around. "Wha? Where am I?" The villain asked, looking around. "What happened?" He asked.

He then remembered how Daruka used her Dragon Element to disperse him. "Oh, yeah... That little brat. If it wasn't for her, I'd be out of town already." He said, now shaking furiously within the bottle.

Suddenly, it was revealed that Bakugo and his cronies were walking down the alleyway. "That exchange chick was tough." One of them said as Bakugo finished drinking a canned drink.

"Yeah, she may even give you a run for your money, Katsuki." Long Fingers said.

"Shut the hell up, Fingers! I'll take that bitch down soon enough! And that nerd Deku, too!" Bakugo said, kicking the bottle the villain was in, causing it to hit a streetlamp and pop the cap off.

"You shouldn't waste your time on the guy." Long Fingers said.

After a brief flashback from the last episode of Midoriya explaining he wanted to be a hero since childhood, Bakugo growled. "Someone's gotta teach that worthless nerd how the world really works!" He said angrily, scorching and crumpling the can in his hand with an explosion. "I hate it when he talks heroes!" He snapped, throwing the can to the ground.

Suddenly, the two cronies chuckled. "Hey, we should go to the arcade. Get your mind off it, you know?" The other crony said.

"Fine." Bakugo complied.

"Or we could sneak into the bar at the station. Pick up some ladies." Long Fingers said, none of them noticing the sludge villain making their way towards them.

"Now that's a good idea." The other crony agreed as Long Fingers make an Okay sign with his fingers.

"Idiots! If we get caught, there's no way UA would let me in!" Bakugo snapped at them.

They both cringed slightly at his yelling, before noticing and pointing to something behind him. "Hey, what's that?" They asked together, Bakugo turning to see the monster reforming and towering over him.

"Perfect. I like a skin suit with some fire!" The villain said menacingly as Bakugo's eyes widened in shock.

Back on the rooftops, Midoriya screamed as he now saw All Might's true form: an incredibly, skinny, frail-looking man with baggy clothes, and long spiky hair with very long bangs. "You deflated!" He shouted, looking around. "Where'd All Might go?!" He asked, looking back to the deflated hero. "You're not him! You're a fake! An imposter!" He accused.

The thin man sighed at this. "I assure you, I am All Mi-" He started, before blood began pouring from his mouth, causing Midoriya to scream once again.

"Impossible!" The teen screamed.

An image is then shown of a large man at a swimming pool. "You know how big guys at the pool always suck it in to try and look buff? I'm like that." All Might explained, wiping the blood from his mouth.

"This can't be real!" Midoriya cried out. "I must be dreaming... All Might's a giant of a man who saves everyone! He defeats all obstacles and wins the day with a fearless smile." He said, still trying to hold onto the belief this wasn't really All Might.

The hero, however, turned away and sighed at this. "There's plenty of fear behind that smile." He said, taking a step forward and sitting down. "I'm counting on you to keep your mouth shut. Don't go talking about this online or telling your friends." He told him.

Midoriya leaned forward as a noise of rustling fabric could be heard, the teen gasping in shock as All Might lifted his shirt to reveal a horrifying red and purple wound on his left side that looked like a massive dent, almost like an enormous bullet wound.

"Pretty gross, right? I got this in a big fight 5 years back. My respiratory system was basically destroyed. And I lost my whole stomach. All the surgeries have pretty much worn me out. It can't be fixed. Right now, I can only do hero work for about 3 hours a day. The rest of the time, this is what I look like," All Might explained.

Midoriya looked understandably horrified at this, knowing how horribly mutilated his favorite hero was. "No way... 5 years ago? So, does that mean it was the fight with Toxic Chainsaw?" He asked.

"Wow, you really know your stuff. But no, punk may have landed some hits, but he couldn't bring me down. The rest of the world has never heard this story. I did everything I could to keep it under wraps." All Might explained as several different parts of the city were shown, before coming back to the scrawny hero.

"I'm supposed to be the guy who's always smiling, right? I'm the symbol of peace. People everywhere have to think that I'm never afraid." He explained, looking down at his hand, before clenching it into a fist. "But honestly, I smile to hide the fear inside. It's just a brave face I put on when the pressure's high. This job ain't easy." He said, causing Midoriya to gasp.

"Pro heroes are always having to risk their lives. Some villains just can't be beaten without powers. So, no, I honestly don't think you can become a hero without a Quirk." He said, horrifying Midoriya.

The boy tried to hold onto that last bit of hope Daruka had given him. "B-but my friend, the girl who beat the sludge villain! She said she I could be a hero with the right tools and training! And she comes from a place where most people are Quirkless, but they still fight against things just as bad as that sludge villain, if not worse! You must know of that place, right?" Izuku asked.

All Might frowned at this. The girl was lying and giving the boy dangerous advice. Maybe he hadn't gotten the best first impression of her, after all. "I'm sorry, but no. I've never heard of a place where Quirkless people fight dangerous threats like that, and I've been all over the map. I'm afraid if she did tell you something like that, she made it up. I don't know her reasons, but they're giving you false hope and unrealistic expectations. That can be dangerous." He told the boy.

The young teen's eyes trembled in shock and despair. "I see..." He said, looking down. So, she just lied to him? Why? Did she just pity him? That somehow felt even worse than anything Kacchan had ever done to him.

All Might stood back up at this point. "If you want to help people, there are plenty other ways to do it. You could be a police officer." He offered, starting to walk towards the door. "They get crap because the heroes catch most of the villains, but it's a fine profession." He explained. He opened the door but stopped before he went through. "It's not bad to have a dream, young man. But make sure your dreams are attainable. Realistic. Understand?" He asked, before finally walking through the doorway and closing it behind him, leaving Midoriya alone with his thoughts

Back with Daruka, she continued to chase after the strange figure in the sky. It looked like a human, but it also had familiar-looking parts that could only belong to an Astalos, another creature from her own world. If there was another humanoid monster, it would stand to reason there were others who were sent through the portal to this world and with their help, she may be able to figure out what happened and how to return to their own world. However, the figure was quite fast as it flew through the sky, not to mention while the potential Astalos had no obstacles to avoid in the sky, Daruka had to make her way around several buildings in the way and cross several streets, cars swerving in order to avoid hitting her.

And finally, despite her best efforts, she lost track of the flying figure. "Damn. That could have been my chance to figure out just what is going on between our world and this crazy place." She said, before realizing something. "And to make matters worse, now I have absolutely no idea where I am." She grumbled, shaking her head before looking in front of her to see another familiar figure. It was Midoriya, thankfully still in one piece after latching onto someone who leapt hundreds of feet into the air. "Hey, Midoriya! Glad to see you're still in one piece! I thought I was gonna be stuck in the middle of the city." She said, hurrying up to the smaller boy, who turned and looked up at her with a glare, also realizing that the boy had apparently been crying. "Whoa... What happened to you? All Might say something that made you cry?" She asked.

"Yeah... He told me that I couldn't be a hero without a Quirk." He told her.

Daruka just scoffed at this. "So what? He's not the guy who gets to say who can and can't be heroes. I already told you that you could be one. You just have to work on it." She spoke.

He then looked up and glared at her. "He also told me he's never heard of a place where Quirkless people fight dangerous forces like what you said. And he's been all over the world! So, did you lie to me?" He asked.

Daruka was shocked at this. She hadn't thought of what to do if someone actually called her bluff. "W-what?! No, I didn't lie to you! And how does All Might know? Has he been to every single country on the planet? Just because he's been all around the world doesn't mean he's been everywhere in it!" She replied.

However, Midoriya was noticing how she faltered a bit and was now doubting her. "Then if it's so remote and unheard of as you say, why would my school, or any school in Japan, for that matter, accept exchange students from there if they know absolutely nothing about it?!" He demanded.

"Well, I..." She started, unsure of how to answer next.

But her silence told Izuku everything he needed to know. "You know, I've gotten used to people telling me I'm weak because I'm Quirkless. I'm used to hearing I'll never be a hero. But you lying to me to make me feel better hurts worse than anything else. Of all the things people have said or done to me, pitying me is worse than any of the torment they put me through!" He snapped.

Suddenly, a car that was an undercover police cruiser and quite familiar to Daruka came down the road, almost hitting the two, but stopped. Then, Ichika stepped out of it. "Move it, kids! This is an emergency!" Ichika cried, before recognizing who it was. "Oh, Daruka. I didn't expect to see you again so soon." She said, before looking to Midoriya. "Oh. And I'm guessing he's the boy of the family you'll be staying with." She asked.

"Not if she keeps lying." He said, still glaring at the former Brute Wyvern.

"What did she lie about?" Ichika asked.

"She told me I could become a hero even without a Quirk, because where she comes from, there are Quirkless people who fight things worse than a villain that attacked us all the time." He explained.

"O-oh... I thought the idea was to not talk about things like that." Ichika told the Deviljho girl with a look that basically said 'Really? You screwed up already'?

Daruka sighed at this. "You mind helping out with this. He's a good kid, I think he can keep a secret. And after everything he's been through, he deserves some hope." She said. (Plus, it's not like he has many friends to tell or who would believe him, anyway.) She thought.

It was Ichika's turn to sigh now, but she figured this would be better than the kid believing the girl staying with him was a chronic liar. "If it gets you two out of the road, then fine." She said, walking over and putting a hand on the head of both green-haired teens, transferring the memories from Daruka to Midoriya so he could see her memories.

The boy staggered back at the well of information that just flooded his brain, before looking to Daruka. "T-That huge dinosaur creature… that was you?" He asked.

"Yeah. A bit of downgrade, sadly." She said, looking down at her human body.

Still shaken, the boy looked to the detective. "And that's all one hundred percent real?" He asked.

Ichika nodded at this. "Without a doubt. Memories cannot lie." She explained.

"Wow..." Midoriya said in awe. "I'm sorry I ever doubted you." He said to Daruka.

"Eh. Not like you didn't have a reason." She said with a shrug.

"Good, all friends again. I'm happy for you. Now I really need to get going, so if you could move, that would be great." She told them, heading back to her car.

"What's happening?" Midoriya asked.

"Villain attack. Police are needed to help keep civilians back and collect the villain once the heroes finally take it down." She said, finally getting in her car and driving off to the scene.

"Well, since that's all taken care of, why don't we go back to your place now. I am starving. If I have to wait too much longer, I might have to take a bite out of you." Daruka said.

"I have my allowance with me. We should be able to stop and get something. I just want to see them take down the villain first. Let's go!" Midoriya said, the pep in his step he had earlier in the day during the first villain attack returning and he hurried after the police car.

Daruka looked at the boy suddenly shift from depressed to practically bouncing off the walls. "Jeez, he may give a Tobi-Kadachi a run for its money." She said, chasing after him.

Soon enough, they arrived at the Tatooine Shopping District, where they saw the street filled with flames, nearby buildings in shambles and heroes scrambling to keep the civilians back and rescue any civilians that were currently in danger. But what truly shocked the two was the villain in question. It was the sludge villain that Daruka had defeated, now seeming to be far fuller of fight than he had been against the monster girl. "He's got a hostage! We can't just attack wildly without thinking! We've got to be careful how we handle this!" One hero said.

"Th-there's no way! I boiled that loser, and All Might trapped him in those bottles! How is he here?!" Daruka asked.

Meanwhile, Midoriya looked at the monster in horror. "It's my fault... The villain must have fallen out when I grabbed onto All Might. And now he's out of energy. He can't stop the monster now. And none of the other heroes have the Quirks to stop him. It's all my fault... I'm sorry..." Midoriya said on the verge of tears.

Daruka turned to him. "Hey, calm down. You made a mistake; you couldn't have seen it coming." She told him, before turning back to the monster. "Whatever. I fried him once; I'll just do it again." She said, preparing to storm forward.

"You can't! The heroes won't just let you charge in and fight him. Plus, he has a hostage. If you aren't careful, you'll kill him!" Midoriya warned her, grabbing her arm to hold her back.

"Damn!" She snapped.

Unbeknownst to the two, All Might was also there, cursing himself for wasting his time and being unable to help. (Dammit! I gave that kid a whole big lecture, but in the end, I'm no better! I'm not a real hero if I can let someone suffer like this.) He thought to himself.

As the monster turned as if to gloat or show off he was in the position of power, he revealed his hostage and despite his eyes being closed, both Midoriya and Daruka recognized the ash blonde hair of Bakugo. "Kacchan!" Midoriya cried out in concern.

"Damn. The kid's a punk, but he doesn't deserve this! Why aren't any of these bastards doing anything? Aren't they supposed to be heroes?" She said angrily.

"They can't do anything. None of their quirks work on them! And Mt. Lady can't fit through." A woman next to her said. Then, the women's eyes widened in shock. "Oh, my god! That kid's gonna get himself killed!" She cried.

Daruka quickly turned back and was shocked to see Midoriya rushing towards the villain. "Midoriya, no! Get back here!" She cried, rushing after him. Unfortunately, Midoriya drew the attention of the other heroes, so they were alert when a second person ran past their safety line, and she found herself constricted by powerful tree-like limbs.

"Slow down there, girl! You'll just be another kid in the way!" He told her.

"I'm not just gonna sit here and let the kid die! I'm gonna do something, you heroes be damned!" Daruka declared, voluntarily activating her Dragon organ, causing her muscles to swell. She felt something different inside her, something her monster brain would have never been able to process. She had a desire to protect Midoriya, the boy who had been nice and helpful to her in her short time on this world. But not only that, she saw the look of fear and desperation in Bakugo's eyes and felt a strange desire to come to the boy's defense, even though he was a jerk. For the first time in her life, she truly cared about someone other than herself.

Among the audience, All Might had witnessed this as well and was shocked at what he was seeing: the boy who he told couldn't be a hero without a Quirk and the girl who committed what he saw as an act of minor villainy, lying to that boy, giving him false hope and dangerous ideals, were now being more heroic than either himself or any other hero here.

Midoriya then spun and threw his backpack, his notebook flying out and hitting the villain in the eye, causing him to flinch and loosen his grip on Bakugo, at which point the boys (more or less) worked together for the first time in years, Midoriya clawing away at the liquid holding his "friend", while Bakugo tried to free himself with a number of explosions. Back with Daruka, she broke free of Kamui Woods... Well- woods and was now rushing towards the scene as well.

However, neither of the boys' efforts were enough and the monster soon recovered. "Just a little bit longer, kid! And I'm done playing with you!" The villain declared, creating a strong arm and hand, preparing to swat Izuku like a bug. But then, before that hand could be swung, a stream of black smoke and red lightning shot forward, engulfing the hand and completely evaporating it. "AAAAAAH! What the hell was that?!" The villain cried out in pain, before looking to the side, his eyes widening in horror as he saw the girl who previously defeated him, now looking like more of a monster than he was, her skin darkened to the point it was difficult to distinguish from dark green or black, her hair flowing wildly with red lightning arcing around it and finally, black smoke and red lightning absolutely pouring from her face. And that savage-looking creature was barreling towards him.

"Daruka!" Midoriya cried in shock.

(That's that same lizard chick? She looks like something completely different. Something monstrous.) Bakugo thought as he thought something similar to the villain holding him.

"I've had enough of you for one lifetime!" Daruka declared viciously as she spun her body with her tail held out, swinging in a wide arc and passing through the villain's body, the resistance of the liquid form almost not there as her appendage shot through it, catching Bakugo and pushing him out of the villain's body, colliding with Midoriya as well, before Daruka finally stopped, throwing the boys back until they were in the arms of the heroes, who finally moved to help. She then glared at the sludge monster before her, who looked at her in fear.

"Damn you, you little brat! I'm getting out of here, no matter what!" The villain roared, preparing to launch himself at her one more time in an attempt to overwhelm her.

"You're not going ANYWHERE!" She roared, firing another super-powered wave of Dragon Element from her mouth. And while, she could open her mouth quite wide for a human body, it was still nowhere near as wide as the maw of a full-sized Deviljho. However, the fact it was a smaller channel for the Dragon Element to escape from made it that much more focused and felt more powerful than anything she could output, easily boring a hole through the villain's body, vaporizing everything in the path of the stream and all the nearby liquid in his body coming to a boil as well, until nearly half of the creature had evaporated away, the falling to the ground, consciousness leaving the criminal for the second time that day.

"No way..." One of the heroes said.

"She just took down that villain like nothing." Death Arms said in shock.

"And she saved those boys. Pulled them right out of the sludge and hurled them halfway down the street. Plus, she broke out of my tree limbs. She's something else." Kamui Woods added.

Daruka then turned around, looking at the fires, then the heroes. "Hey! Is anybody gonna do something about the fires everywhere? That's outside my area of expertise." She said.

From where he was watching, All Might was amazed at what had just transpired. That girl was really something. He had briefly considered giving her One For All, but after seeing a display of her power, she seemed more than capable already. The actions of the green-haired boy, however, was truly something else. He had heard the boy say how his legs moved on their own and knew that he could be a great hero, if only he had a Quirk. He'd have to figure out a place to talk to the two later. If everything went well, UA could have two great new students in attendance next semester.

And so, everyone went to work, the police starting to collect the villain as the heroes that could worked on putting out the fires. Ichika then came up to Daruka as things settled down. "Well, you did a number on that sludge guy. He'll be a foot or two shorter when he changes back, but at least he's still alive. On the plus side, vaporizing most of him like that made clean-up easier. Now we only needed one trash bin." She said.

"Insult to injury. I like that." The former Brute Wyvern said.

Ichika then placed a hand on her shoulder. "But, hey. I'm proud of you. You did the right thing out there and saved those two boys while the other heroes sat around with their thumbs up their ass. Great work." She said.

Daruka sighed at this. "It was all him, really. I'm not sure I would've jumped in if he hadn't done it first." She said, looking to Midoriya, before noticing that a couple of heroes were chewing him out for rushing in how he did, while Bakugo was being praised for... not dying? She guessed? Either way, she got pissed pretty quick at the heroes who just sat there were yelling at someone who actually tried to save the hostage. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me." She said, storming over.

"You moron! Do you have a death wish!?" Kamui demanded.

"There was absolutely no reason for you to put yourself in danger like that!" Death Arms snapped.

"His reason was trying to save someone. Which is more than you guys can say! A civilian did more to solve the problem than you did, and you have the gall to snap at him like that?" She questioned.

Both heroes flinched for a second, but Death Arms turned to her. "Look, kid. You did great out there, but neither of you should've rushed in like that. You could've been killed." He told her.

"And you should've done your jobs and try to save the kid. But you all just sat there because you didn't have the right powers. So what? That's no excuse to sit there and let the kid die. Where I come from, our heroes were willing to step up to any kind of threat, no matter if they were prepared for it or not. And they'd die before they let someone else get hurt. You all just hung back to save your own skins. If that's what heroes here are, the future doesn't look too promising." She snapped back at them.

The heroes faltered a bit at this, especially when they noticed the media was paying particularly close attention to this conversation. This incident was likely already going to seriously hurt their image, so to be yelling at the girl who basically handled the entire situation would be absolutely damning to their careers. "Well, just be more careful out there next time!" Death Arms said, before walking away with the other heroes.

Midoriya was unsure how to react to this. He was feeling terrible as he was berated by the heroes for what he had done, but he still admired and respected those heroes, so to see Daruka tear them down like that, in his defense no less, was almost more than he could process. "L-let's just go, Daruka! I think we've caused enough trouble here!" The green-haired boy told her.

"Hey, you caused the trouble here, on multiple levels. I solved it if anything." She insisted.

Much later, the two were finally getting close to Midoriya's home as the sun was setting, Daruka munching on a triple decker cheeseburger Midoriya got for her, then taking a drink from her milkshake. "I think I could get used to this human body and eating things besides meat all the time. These pickle things are pretty tasty." She said as she pulled out a rather large pickle slice dangling out from where she'd taken a bite from the burger and dropping it into her mouth.

Midoriya said nothing while staring at his smaller burger in front of him. "Do you think I should send an apology email on All Might's website?" He asked, feeling guilty about everything that happened after his meeting with the hero.

"Eh. I doubt he actually even checks those things." Daruka said dismissively as she stretched and put her hands behind her head.

"Deku!" Bakugo shouted as he rushed up.

"Kacchan?" Midoriya asked, turning to face the blonde as he stopped to catch his breath.

The explosive boy panted for a bit, before saying his piece. "I'd never ask for a weakling like you to help me! Don't think you can look down on me!" He snapped before glaring up at Midoriya. "Huh?! Got that?! I was fine by myself! You're just a Quirkless failure who won't even cut it as a rent-a-cop! You didn't help me! Don't forget it! I don't owe you anything!" He snapped.

Daruka turned to face him. "What? Can you not go an hour without telling him how much you hate him? If not, I'd suggest looking into a hobby. Away from us." She told him, slamming her tail into the ground behind her in a warning manner, leaving a sizeable pothole where her tail completely pulverized the pavement.

Bakugo growled at this, before sighing. "It's Daruka, right? You actually did save me out there. So… thanks, I guess." He said in a tone that was as close to calm as the explosive angry Pomeranian was capable of, before is anger and volume returned. "But don't think that gives you the right to look down on me! I'm going to keep getting stronger! Then we're gonna fight one of these days and I'm gonna kick your lizard ass! Don't forget that!" He declared, before turning and storming off.

"Fine. Just don't complain when I'm picking you out of my teeth." She called after him, before turning around and continuing on her way way. However, while she didn't seem particularly interested in the idea of fighting him one way or the other, Midoriya couldn't help but notice her tail wagging a bit as she continued to walk. It would have been cute if he didn't know getting hit by that tail would probably break his EVERYTHING.

"Y-you wouldn't really eat him, would you?" He asked in concern. No answer. "Daruka?" He asked, a bit more urgency in his voice.

"So, what other foods would you recommend that I absolutely have to try?" She said, avoiding the question, not easing Midoriya's worries in the slightest.

"I am here!" All Might announced as he dashed out of a side road, causing Midoriya to scream.

"All Might! What are you doing here?!" Midoriya asked, looking around.

All Might laughed at this with a red, white and blue background. "I came for you, young ones! You have been afforded a great opportunity, from none other than All M-!" He started, before reverting to his scrawny form, spewing blood from his mouth, causing Midoriya to scream again.

"What the hell!? Why did you go from a Rajang to scrawnier than that mushroom girl?!" Daruka cried out in shock and confusion.

All Might coughed a bit and wiped his mouth before speaking again. "I have no idea what you're talking about, young lady." He told her.

"So, is nobody going to explain why a wall of muscle just turned into a living stick figure and started spewing up blood?" She asked. The two of them gave a brief rundown of All Might's condition and swore her to silence as well. She was a bit uncertain because of how he basically crushed Midoriya's dreams before, but the boy pleaded for her to keep the secret, plus she thought it wouldn't be wise to get on the bad side of the Number One hero. That, and he offered her a free meal at an all-you-can-eat buffet. She was already seeing the name as a personal challenge. And she fully intended to destroy that challenge.

"But that is not important. Young man, I came here to thank you, as well as to discuss your question from earlier." All Might explained, looking to Midoriya.

"Oh, right. You said he couldn't be a hero. That's a pretty good way to lose your biggest fan, you know." Daruka said.

"No, Daruka! He's right. It was my fault he was there in the first place. I got in the way of your hard work. I wasted your energy and not to mention your time..." Midoriya explained sadly, looking away.

"I'm not done." All Might said, looking to Daruka. "Young lady, I told you before, but with your power, you could be an incredible hero. With enough training, you may even rival my status one day. But as remarkable as you are, I found your actions truly heroic today, young man." He stated, turning to Midoriya. "You told me you didn't have a power, but when I saw this timid, Quirkless boy try to save a life, it inspired me, too." He explained, Midoriya looking back at him. "There are stories about every hero. How they became great. Most of them have one thing in common. Their bodies moved before they had a chance to think. Almost on their own." He went on, surprising Midoriya, whose eyes began to shine as he started tearing up.

"And today... That's what happened to you." All Might finished, Midoriya tearing up even harder. "Young man… you, too, can become a hero." All Might told him, to which Midoriya began sobbing uncontrollably.
