Electric Halloween

Lauren's P.O.V.:

If there is one day that everyone in Brooklyn even here looks forward to on the calendar it would be Halloween. The night where people dress up in costumes, little kids go trick or treating, teens and adults enjoy the fun and more importantly the big town Halloween costume contest which all were excited for. Sean, Hector, Jess and I along with Shock and Keith were setting everything up in our school gym for the contest dance party tonight. Lisa was there helping out too making the punch for the party. "Alright Shock where do you want the banner," Hector called as he and Sean lifted the item. "Okay a little more to the right," Shock said directing they moved it back and forth.

"A step to the left, um up a little bit," he told them as they lifted the sign. "Down a few inches. Okay, perfect," Shock told them. "Pfew," Hector and Sean relieved after they got the sign hung up and everything. "Man Shock, you could have told us to place it in the middle," Hector told him. "Come on, you know we got it up for sure," Shock replied. "We sure did," Sean told him. "I'm excited for the school's Halloween dance tonight," I said to them coming over with my Narnia costume on. "You bet Lauren, besides I'm just hoping nothing will go wrong," Keith said as well.

"Well, in the worst case scenario, the Electric Company will help out," I told them with a smile. "Lauren's right for sure," Keith said highfiving Hector. "She sure is," Hector smiled. "Hey, before I forget, anybody know what their being tonight," I asked. "Well, I'm going as Marty McFly," Hector said doing his Back to the Future pose. "Me, I'm doing a," Jess stuttered a little bit. "Wait, aren't you doing Elizabeth from Pirates of the Caribbean," I asked. "That one," she replied with a smile. "Keith's doing Captain Jack Sparrow," Keith said doing his Jack impression.

We all chuckled and I had to admit he did really well with the impression. "Sean and I are doing Lucy and Peter from Narnia in the Golden Age," I told the others. "Nice Lauren, I think I see two themes going on I like it," Hector smiled. "You know it. What about you Lisa," I asked her as she finished making the punch. "Well, I'm going as Jenny, you know Marty's love interest," Lisa told us. "Nice, so I think I can say at this rate, this is going well," Hector said as the rest of the stuff came in for setup. "You bet Hector," Lisa smiled. "Indeed. Okay, is there anything else we need to set up Laur," Keith asked. "I think we got pretty much got everything down like the banner, the DJ's coming soon, snacks, party supplies," I said ratting off the list. "I think what you mean to say is everything's set in stone," Sean asked me. "Yeah pretty much," I answered.

"Perfect, now this party can be fun," Keith said with a smile. It was his first school dance of the year and everyone was excited. "You bet Keith, besides the one question everyone would want to ask is what can go wrong," Sean said backing up. "Uh Sean," I pointed out as he walked towards the stage and soon almost slipped on stairs. "I'm okay," he replied. I shrugged and so did the others as we got the rest of the stuff set. Almost everyone was in their costumes except for Jess who had to get hers dry cleaned. "Man, I forgot something," I realized. "What is it Lauren," Hector asked. "I forgot to ask the custodians to bring up the lights for the dance so that way no one gets hurt," I answered. "Is there any way we can do it now," Sean asked. "I don't know," I shrugged. "Well, we got to do something," Hector admitted as he and Sean decided to go fix the problem. "This is a tough one dude. I don't know how we can lift these up in time," Hector admitted.

"Yeah no wonder Hector. And there at a reasonable height so no one gets hurt Lauren. Besides, what's the worst that can happen," Sean said leaning against the spotlight and soon swung back. "Oh no," Hector realized as it came to me. "Lauren look out," Keith called. "Huh," I said and soon looked to see the spotlight come towards me. Luckily, I ducked in time but it hit me in the side of the head as I swirled into darkness while falling on the ground. "Lauren," I heard Hector's voice along with Sean, Lisa, Keith and Shock's dwindling from me as I plunged deeper into a darkness unlike no other. That was until I saw a light and I walked near it. I opened the door and soon found myself in dark version of the school but with lightning clouds and everything. I looked down and saw my outfit changed from my Narnia costume to one of a Marvel superhero with a belt at the waist and it felt tight on me. Not going to lie.

"Hello, is anyone there? Hector, Sean, Jess, Keith, Lisa, Shock. Are you guys there," I called out walking around. It seemed okay at first until I saw something jump out at me. "Oh sorry I didn't notice you," I replied honestly to the creature. I couldn't see in the darkness but I had to do something. "No need, sorry I didn't notice you," he replied. "That's alright. But, how come I can't see you," I asked. He turned to face me in the light well a lightening bolt and I got frightened. "Ahh. What exactly are you," I screamed out loud. "You mean what am I. I'm a werewolf, see with the fur and human clothes," the wolf spoke and howled. "Okay I see. I feel this is a dream. If this is a dream, someone wake me up please," I said. "This is not a dream, it's real," he told me. "Not dreaming? Okay Lauren, what do you in this situation, call the gang," I panicked before running to a spot and yelled out loud, "HEY YOU GUYS" Man, did I feel better afterwards. I could see monster people looking at me with weird looks and I was almost ready to scream once again but I hurried down the steps of the school to think of where to hide. "What do I do? These people don't know me, I'm not home so I got to go somewhere to figure this out. Could I go home? No, I don't know exactly where that is. Um, how about Sean's? No that wouldn't work. Wait, the diner that's it. I'll go there," I realized and soon ran from the school over to the diner. I was able to get on a subway there which was nice. When did that happen? I got off the station over to the diner and ran there quickly without monster people noticing me.

After running a few blocks, I reached the diner. Well, not the diner I expected but it was similar in sense. I looked at the sign hanging above the door. "The Ghost busting diner, home of the Ghostbusters Company," I read out loud. What is this place, I thought. "Hmm. Don't know this place but it looks like the diner at home, I should be safe," I said to myself. I walked to the door which was open surprisingly. "Door's opened. Guess they might have knew I was coming," I thought as I walked in. It was almost like the diner but there were green, blue and splattered paint everywhere. "Uh Hector, Keith guys. I'm here. If your trying to prank me, you won and can come out now," I called out to the diner only to hear my echo through the walls. "Uh guys, you there," I asked again after a few minuets when I heard movement. I whirled my head to a coroner not covered by light where shadows were standing in position. I couldn't tell what was on their backs in the midst of the darkness. "It's her. It's Lucene. We got her Ector," a voice sounded. "We did it man now get her," someone named Ector told the two as vacuum like things powered up and began to suck me as I tried to resit. "Wait me," I asked confused. "Don't be dumb ghost, come on out you go," another voice said over the noise. "Okay, guys I think this is a misunderstanding so stop that please," I pleaded. "Nice try Lucene, you are coming with us," a girls voice sounded. "What are you talking about," I asked. "You and the other Prankster ghosts have caused enough trouble and this ends now," another voice sounded. "I'M NOT A GHOST," I shouted and the figures looked stunned. "Your not," they asked. "No and can you turn these vacuums off please? I can't hear," I said out loud. "Sorry. Power them down guys, we didn't catch her," Ector told the others. "Dang, I thought we did," they groaned turning them off.

I just breathed with relief knowing that ended nicely. "Well that was a surprise," I muttered letting my hearing come back to me. "So, your not a ghost," a voice asked. "Eddie. That was rude. You don't ask her that," another girl sounded. "Sorry Lottie. I guess I didn't know," he replied. "Um not to be rude but who are you guys," I asked confused. "We should ask you the same thing, you okay," a voice like Shock sounded. "I think so. Can you guys come into the light, so I can see you," I replied. They came into the light and I could see them more clearly. The guy on the far left looked like Sean in a sense with the skin tone and hair that was side swept with blue hair sticking out from the ends. He also wore glasses as well. The guy next to him had spiky hair with red tips on the ends. The girl next to him had curly black hair much like Jess but gold streaks were in the curls. Another girl stood by her side and she had blonde hair like Lisa but auburn streaks were in the hair as well. Keep in mind, they looked like my family but I couldn't quite tell in honesty. Oh I forgot the guy again, shoot. The guy standing next to the one with the spiky hair had a haircut that reminded me of Jayden and a light blue no more like white peeked through his brown hair. All of them were wearing jumpsuit outfits in tan and black when I think they could have used some color to make it pop. Well then again there was red. "For some odd reason and if I may be honest, I thought your were my family," I told the people in front of me. "Thought we were your family," the boy with dark skin and curly hair asked. "Yeah. By the way I'm not dreaming am I? I think the spotlight got my head good and I'm ready to wake up now," I answered confused and shaking my head.

Eddie's P.O.V.:

"I don't think you are honestly, but thank God, your safe," I said telling this girl as we came over to her so did the others. "Were sorry we almost sucked you," Thorn said walking over to her. "No need to apologize, you had to do defend yourself and I can accept it," she told us. "Your right," Eddie agreed. "Uh before I forget. I'm in the diner right," she asked unsure. "Yeah. Your in the diner," Ector answered. "Oh come on Ector. She knows that just like you and your Star Wars limited Edition pens," I told him. "Eddie that does not make any sense whatsoever. Besides, I almost beated you at horse a few days ago when you cheated," he replied. "I did not cheat, you did," I shot back. "Really cause I'm the best person," he said to me. "Oh stop and give me a break," I replied arguing over him for a good few seconds. "Shut up both of you," Ballista told us well more like shouted. "Sorry, Ballista," we murmured. "Okay on that. Uh can I ask what's going on and what is with the lightening," the girl asked again noticing a lightning bolt. "Oh right. We don't want the prankster ghosts to get us," I replied. "Who want now and are you crazy," she said confused.

"Nope but come with us, this needs to be in safer quarters," Ballista told her as we walked over to the door of the basement.

Lauren's P.O.V.:

I didn't know who these people were but to say ghosts are invading, sounded a little far fetched to me. It's like one of those things in an invasion movie, not really but they would know I think. One of them opened the door and we began to climb down the steps and I was surprised to see how deep downstairs was. "Wow, no wonder this is deep," I admitted. "Yeah, surprised us as well when we bought the place all those months ago," blue hair guy told me with a smile. We continued to walk down the steps when I felt cold wind brush against me. I started to shiver a little bit as we continued down into the basement. One of them looked at me and saw me hugging my body for warmth. "You cold," the curly hair girl asked me. "Y-Y-yeah," I shivered. "Here put this on. It'll keep you warm for the time being," one of them told me handing a puffer jacket. "Thanks," I smiled as I placed it on and we continued to walk down. How many steps are there, I thought.

Lottie's P.O.V.:

We made down to the headquarters of our basement and lock proofed every room in the basement. She could see our machines perfectly in tune and lights that we had on in case of the situation like now.

"Well nothing like it guys even on this day we had someone join in and we almost had Lucene, sorry we had to bring you down here," Ector told the girl. "No problem, but, is it possible I can have a cup of hot chocolate," she asked shivering a bit. "Sure. I'll get a cup going," Ector smiled getting up and making hot chocolate. "So, while that's going who are you," I asked. "I was going to ask the s-s-same thing," she shivered. "Sorry if it's a little cold in here. Our heat bill is behind this month because somebody used all the hot water," Ballista turned to Thorn. "Excuse me, I'm not the one who told Eddie to quirk it in the first place," Thorn told me. "Oh, I know that. Besides, you take long showers," she admitted. "Okay, let's not argue guys," Ector said stepping in on time with the warm cup of hot chocolate. "True," they agreed. "Here you go, sorry if it was long," Ector told her. "No need. Thanks. So, who are you guys? You remind me of my family and some of my friends," she asked confused. "I'm Ector, that's Eddie, Ballista, Thorn, and our girl Lottie," Ector introduced pointing to everyone. "Hi. Nice to meet you," she smiled weakly. "Who are you," I asked. "I'm Lauren, Lauren Ruiz," she introduced. "Lauren, that's a pretty name," I told her. "Thank you. It means crowned with laurel leaves," she replied. "So what are you doing here Lauren or I should say what brings you here," I asked.

"Well, to be honest, I don't know. All I can remember is helping setting up for a school Halloween dance where I'm from," I told the crew. "Well where are you from," Lottie asked. "I'm from Brooklyn," she responded. We looked at her. "I mean my Brooklyn, not your version so to say," she told us. "Oh okay," we realized afterwards. "While we were setting up, I remembered about the spotlights have to be brought up to a certain height so no one gets hurt during the dance. Sean told me they were at a reasonable height where none of us could get hit and he's like what's the worse that can happen, leaned on the light, swung and almost got me in the head before if it wasn't for Keith giving me a heads up then here I am," she told us. "Sounds like you got hit well in the side of the head but overall not well and whose Sean," I told her. "Whose Keith," Eddie asked. "There my best friends back home," she told me. "Ah," they smiled. "So, let us get this straight for a second, your from Brooklyn not from ours so to speak, was setting up your school's Halloween dance and somehow you got hit in the head almost by a spotlight after your friend warned you to duck in time and blacked out," Ector asked her.

Lauren's P.O.V.:

"I think you just summed it up in a nutshell," I answered. "Oh good. Man am I good at this guys," Ector smiled. He was like my brother a little bit I can say. "Okay now that we got that out of the way, can you guys tell me why we are in a chilly basement," I asked shivering. "Oh right. About that, you see we just don't want," Eddie was explaining. "What he's trying to say is we don't want the Prankster ghosts to hear us or get ideas," Thorn explained. "I'm sorry what who again," I asked confused. "The Prankster ghosts. They are the meanest, manipulative, and above all not nice ghosts you don't want to meet," Lottie told me. "They also love creating chaos and the most fun they have doing it is on Halloween which is tonight," Ector told me. "We the ghostbusters company had been trying to contaminate and stop them for quite some time; yet every time were close, the plan gets foiled because they play their tricks," Eddie muttered. "How so on the tricks," I asked. "Well for starters Annabel Schneider can easily switch people's minds, mix up letters and can be in someone's body," Thorn started to explain showing me pictures of the ghosts. She did look a lot like Annie back home. "Okay, she's not that bad to be quite honest," I told them. "Bad? She can get pretty peeved about coming in second or nothing going her way," he added. "So there's one ghost in this group," I asked. "Nope. There are few more to keep an eye on," he added.

"Like who," I wondered. "Danny Hauntsboni is the most creative out of all the Prankster ghosts. He can easily create something and posses it features. He once did that to me with my bike and it wasn't pretty let's say," Eddie explained. I winced at that. I bet it had to hurt. "Then there's Zany Reverb. He's second in command to the leader and has a power to sense when humans are present even knowing if we are coming. He also can make codes out of thin air with just his brain," Ballista added. "Finally there is the boss of them all the ghost queen Lucene, she is downright mean and can honestly sense fear even disguise herself into a human to get what she wants. She also likes Ector a lot and would stop at all costs to get him," Ballista told me as I listened. "Man, you guys have enemies just like the Electric Company," I said to them. "Who," they asked. "The Electric Company. My brother, sis and their friends are the heroes while the ghosts you mention are the like the Pranksters," I told them. "Ah I see. Tell us more about when were done," they realized. "Okay not that I got that context out of the way how do I fit into this," I asked. "We were going into that, you see Lauren we heard from them a while back saying they are planning to unleash all evil ghosts and mischief tonight," Lottie explained.

"We read somewhere that a person from your time with a greater destiny far more imagined in their dimension would arrive after being knocked in the head by a spotlight and would come in to help us contaminate the ghosts," Ector told me. "Hold on a second, you think I'm the one to help you guys get these Prankster ghosts and end their chaos when really you've been trying," I asked.

"Well you better be because I swear to who knows that you are our hope and if the ghosts are unleashed, the town is cursed to live with these forever and they will taunt us," Eddie answered. I gasped as Eddie told me this. "But couldn't you talk to them," I wondered. "We tried once but they found out we were stalling so it backfired," Ector told me. "Oh how so," I thought. "Well, it involved body swapping, zigging back and forth the whole jazz," Thorn said ratting a list. "We honestly think containing them is best in order for the town to be safe," Lottie said honestly. I couldn't let my town on this side go through the pain of ghosts but I have a greater destiny back home. "Can I think on it for a second," I asked. "Sure," they replied. What am I going to do? I'm confused.

(Meanwhile)

Third Person's P.O.V.:

In an abandoned apartment building that had fallen to almost ruin a girl ghost with a look of evil rose from the shadows. That was Lucene, the leader of the Prankster ghosts. "Come to me my faithful ghosts," she called out to the other ghosts who appeared with her. Another girl in the mix was Annabel Schneider who had the power to switch people's minds and mix up letters like Annie Scrambler. The two boys approached as well. One had a dark skin complexion and a smirk on his face. That was Zany Reverb second in command and could sense whether humans were present in the town.

Last but not least, the ghost wearing a cap was none other than Danny Hauntsboni the most creative out of all the ghosts. The four gathered around Lucene and bowed to her. "Hail O Mistress," they greeted her. "Hail back at you. The moon is high my friends, tonight we strike and rid the Ghostbuster company for good," she told them. "Yes mistress, they won't even know what's coming," Annabel told them. "Yes, but mistress," Zany flinched. "What is it Zany," she asked not pleased at all.

"I sense a human here in our midst," he replied. "What? Get me the cauldron," Lucene commanded. A ghostly cauldron appeared before her and she stared at the cauldron. "Cauldron of darkness, I call unto this show me the human who is here in the midst," Lucene chanted the spell. The cauldron swirled and soon showed the four Lauren talking with the Ghostbusters Company. "No," Lucene said shocked. "Who is that," Annabel asked. "She's not from here. She's from another dimension," Danny replied. "Zany, what else can you tell me of her," Lucene asked. "I'm afraid I can't mistress. I sensed her and here she is; but I see this aura around her. A gold aura," he replied. "Let me see," she said coming to the cauldron and looking for herself. "Your right Zany about the aura but," she realized. "But what," Danny asked. "She maybe of use to us to get the Ghostbuster's for good," Lucene cackled. "But Mistress, aren't you at least concerned she might help the enemy," Annabel asked. "Yes I know but I need more information in order to make it work. Prepare the curse in the meantime. I'll keep an eye on the cauldron and this person," she commanded and they went back to work while Lucene looked on the cauldron.

(Back at the basement)

Lauren's P.O.V.:

"Look guys, I appreciate the offer of what you're doing but with all due respect, I got to fulfill my own destiny at home. I bet there worried for me," I told them as we were still in the basement talking about me saving the town thing. "Come on Lauren, you're the one that can help us and we believe your word otherwise Thorn would be the one," Eddie told me. "Nice Eddie," Thorn remarked. "Well, it's not my fault you tried to suck her in the first place," Eddie replied and soon Thorn started to argue with Eddie while Ector tried to break up the argument still they continued to argue.

"I got this," I told the others as I went up to them arguing. "SHUT IT," I yelled and they stopped instantly. "Well that worked," Ector remarked with surprise. "Works every time," I shrugged. "Nice can we get back to the issue at hand like if I am joining you guys over this ghost buster scenario," I asked them. "Oh yeah, sorry," Thorn apologized and so did Eddie. "So what do you say Lauren," Ector asked reaching his hand to me. I began to think about it more and more even though I am not 100% sure if I really want to take on this responsibility.

"I honestly don't know what to do guys, but I may need to think about it more," I replied walking up the stairs. "Wait Lauren, wait come back," they told me before I reached the top and looked back. What am I going to do, I thought. I just can't let this go down easy. I have to do something but how. I looked out the door and decided to take a walk to figure it out.

(Back at the abandoned building)

Lucene's P.O.V.:

"Mistress, it looks like the human in our midst has no idea whether to help the ghostbusters or not," Annabel remarked as I looked into the cauldron seeing her in the park. "You're right Annabel and this is a great opportunity for us to try to persuade her and join our side," I smirked thinking of a plan. "Mistress, the curse is set should we unleash the mayhem," Danny asked.

"No my helpers. We have to distract her and bring her to us, Zany you go to the park and get the girl, Danny make a contraption that will fool the busters from finding her. Annabel, you stay with me and I will prepare everything. Go my servants we don't have much time," "Yes mistress," they replied and went about in different directions in accordance to their mistress.

(In the park)

Lauren's P.O.V.:

I sat in the park while others looked at me strangely as I still processed the information Ector and the others told me. "We read somewhere that a person from your time with a greater destiny far more imagined in their dimension would arrive after being knocked in the head by a spotlight and would come in to help us contaminate the ghosts," Ector's voice rung in my head but I couldn't figure it out for myself. Honestly. "What am I going to do? I want to help them but I don't think that I can," I said before hearing a sound. Music, more like haunting tuned music swirl me in confusion. "Come now little girl, I'll take you away into a land filled with magic, come now little daughter the time has come to walk in the garden of magic," an eary song played from someone and immediately I became entranced with the voice and followed it with joy. I was almost out of the park when two invisible hands got me from behind and I screamed. "OW! Not the ears," a voice said back to me. "Whoever you are, come out and show yourself," I commanded. "Well then, I insist," the voice said before transforming into a ghost that I could see with my naked eye. "A ghost," I said shocked. "Yeah," he replied with sass. "What do you want from me," I asked scared. "Oh it's not me I want something, it's our leader. Oh by the way, you need this," he said before blowing something onto me and making me feel sleepy as my eyes closed.

(Back at the diner)

Lottie's P.O.V.:

"Do you think Lauren's okay? She's been gone for a while," I asked the others as we sat in the diner. "I don't know Lottie. She did seem uncertain about helping us out at first. I mean she did seem cautious about it," Ector replied. "Yeah and she's from another dimension. It's not like you jump into this one and say yes right away," Eddie agreed. "True but whatever it is, I'm sure she'll make the right choice," Ballista said to us when a scream rang through the town. We all looked at one another. "LAUREN," we shouted before getting our gear and running to where we heard Lauren's scream.

(At the building)

Zany's P.O.V.:

"Mistress, I got her," I announced coming back to the building with her in my arms. "Good work Zany. I knew you can do it. Now, tie her to the chair and wake her up. It's time we meet our guest," she said to us and we did just that.

Lauren's P.O.V.:

The sleepy thing began to wear off my eyes and they opened slowly as I saw daylight again. Not daylight but light and four ghostly figures hovering above me with evil, gleeful looks. They looked creepy with the blue aura around them and they were kind of crazy. They pretty much looked like the Pranksters only with blue around them. "Welcome, our most special guest," the ghost who looked like Francine said in dramatic flourish. I sort of became spooked after that. "We have waited for you to come," an Annie like ghost told me. "Me," I asked. "Uh yeah, who else were we thinking the President," the one that looked like Manny taunted. "No," I sassed. "Well that doesn't matter now. Please allow us to introduce ourselves. We haven't formally met. I'm Zany that's Danny, Annabel and," Zany started to introduce. "I can handle my intro thank you Zany. I'm Lucene. Queen of the Prankster ghosts leader of them and cause of all things trouble," Lucene said in flair while looking at me. "Your the ones the others mentioned about," I realized. "The others," Annabel asked. "The ghostbusters," I said to them. "Oh them? They must have told you were popular like really popular," Danny said to me with a grin. "No. They told me how you create mischief, evil and plan to unleash all the ghosts tonight," I told them. "No. We wouldn't do that ever," Zany told me. "Enough! Those busters told her of our plan but she is our bait for them," Lucene told them. I panicked when she said bait. "Me? As bait why," I asked. "Because, we have a device that can look like your in the park when really you are with us in the building. Once they realize you are not there, they will have no choice but to find you and when they do, we will trap you all and we will reign supreme," she said telling me the plan as they laughed evilly. Great, I'm bait for a plan I don't know about. "Enjoy the moment while it lasts, destined one," Annabel taunted before leaving me be in the midst of their planning. What am I going to do?

(Back in the park)

Lottie's P.O.V.:

"Lauren, Lauren," the gang and I called out for her but somehow when we lost her scream and couldn't find her in the park. We looked all over the place and still through every tree top we couldn't find her. "It's no use guys, I think she's lost," I told the others. "Don't give up hope yet Lottie. I'm sure she's around here," Ector piped and looked. "But we checked everywhere guys. My tracking device isn't picking her signal," Thorn added holding it in the air. "He's right. Maybe we should stop for a second and retrace our steps," Ballista suggested to the group. "Good idea," they came over to her and I joined them. "I swear we all heard Lauren scream," Ector told us. "Yeah but where can she be," Eddie thought. "Yeah she can't run off from here," I thought. "Guys! You there," a voice sounded. "Lauren is that you," I asked. "It's me guys I'm here," she replied. "Lauren! Where are you," Ector smiled. "I'm towards one of the park entrances hurry. Something is coming for me," she said. "Coming Lauren. Come on guys, let's find her," he said getting his gear an running over to the park entrance and we saw her figure. "Lauren, there you are we found you, you okay," I smiled but soon it faded away. "Huh," we gasped. "What happened," Eddie blurted. "I'll tell you what happened," a voice taunted. We turned to see the ghosts now in the shadow where Lauren was. "You," Ector growled. "That's right," Lucene smiled. "What did you to do with Lauren. Where is she," Eddie thundered. "Wave hi Lauren," Danny called in a fake sweet voice and it showed Lauren in a chair and tied up. "Lauren," we gasped. "That's right ghostbusters, we got her and if you want her back, you have to come to us with surrender to our will," Lucene cackled as they faded. "No," I stunned. "We can't let them," Eddie told Ector. "I know but I think this is what we have to do. Let's head back to the diner," he told us. "Why," I asked. "Lottie, I got a plan and know this it will work," he said kissing my cheek as we walked back to the diner.

(At the building)

Lauren's P.O.V.:

"The trap is coming together nicely Lucene, I must hand it to you. You are a genius," Zany grinned. "Why thank you Zany. I can't take all the credit," she smiled and bowed. "Oh Mistress she can't besides, I plan it to thank you," Danny sassed. "You gave her an idea and that she took from you," Annabel told him. "Yes but I deserve some credit every now and again," Danny shot back as the three started to argue. I could hear it from where I was tied up and honestly they were like the Pranksters. "SILENCE," Lucene thundered and they stopped. "Now if we got that out of the way, you three be on lookout for our "friends"," she said in quotes. "What are you going to be doing," Zany asked. "I think I need to talk to our guest," she said and floated over to me. "Comfy," she asked. "Not really thanks to you," I gritted. "Oh it will be for a few hours before we unleash the ghosts," she smiled. "How? You don't even have a key," I taunted. "Oh we do. The thing on your shoulder is the key to opening the ghosts," she sauntered. "What thing on my shoulder," I shot back. "Your left shoulder know it all," she said. I looked down at my ripped jacket to see the marking of a ghost on the shoulder. I gasped. "You placed this on my shoulder," I asked slowly. "Oh yeah and when the moon is high, the mark will glow and the ghosts will be free," she cackled. "You won't get away with it," I told her. "Oh we have. Enjoy the chair," she taunted before leaving me and going to the cauldron. Great, I found out what I'm going to do for them and I didn't want to. Lord, what do I do," I prayed before thinking of an idea. "Hey guys, look if you just get me out of these ropes I can tell the ghostbusters you surrender," I told them.

"Please like we would," Lucene smirked. "Oh we knew you would lie," I turned my head to see the gang standing with their suck things. "Guys," I smiled. "How," the Pranksters thundered. "Easy. Duplicates. You guys thought you stopped us at the park; but you didn't," Ector smiled. "So, if the duplicates were there, that means," Annabel asked stunned. "Yep we were here the whole time," Lottie smiled. and now comes the fun part," Eddie smirked. "What's that," Danny asked. "Getting you guys," Ballista smiled and powered up the ghost vacuums. "Get them," Lucene thundered and they ran towards the ghostbusters. "Hey Lauren, good to see you," Ector said coming by and getting me out of the ropes. "Thanks Ector," I smiled. "Okay here take this," he said handing me a vaccum. "Why," I asked surprised. "Just turn it on and see what it can do," Lottie shouted over the noise. "Okay if you say so," I said turning it on and soon magic was coming out of it. "Woah," I breathed.

"You can say that again," Eddie agreed. "Join on in Lauren," Thorn yelled and I joined them in sucking the ghosts, well trying so to say. "Uh guys the portal is opening," Ballista shouted as we saw the door with all the ghosts coming out. "They must have opened the key," I realized. I looked at my left shoulder to see the mark of ghosts fading a little bit. "Lauren what's happening," Lottie said. "It seems the mark is fading," I told them. "They must have gotten the power they need from the mark. The only way we can defeat them is if we close the door," Thorn whispered. "Good idea. I'll distract them, you guys shut the door," I told them. "On it," they agreed and we went in separate ways. I spotted Lucene and decided to trick her. "Oh Lucene, looking for me," I called and she spotted me. "You! How did you escape the ropes? We had them tight," she smiled. "I got help but in the meantime, can you do something for me like have you and the ghosts arrange for a photo," I asked. "Oh sure," she realized. "Okay can you guys step to the left more, a little bit more left," I said directing them away from the door. They had no idea what was happening. "Okay perfect guys. ECTOR, EDDIE, LOTTIE, BALLISTA, THORN NOW," I yelled and they went over to the door. "NO," the Pranksters ghosts shouted. "Keep that door open," Lucene thundered and the three tried to push the door open. "Lauren, we need help," Eddie called. "Coming," I said before joining and pushing the door completely closed. "Yes," they smiled. "Bravo busters you may have trapped the ghosts but we will reign supreme," Danny taunted. "Think again oh and one more thing say cheese," Ector said as the gang vaporized the ghosts into the vacuum as they screamed in pain getting sucked but little did they know a surprised was waiting for them.

Ector's P.O.V.:

"Hey let us out we'll be good," Danny said through the tube. "Please it wasn't my idea to unleash the ghosts so I can tell Ector I love him," Lucene grinned. I gagged and so did the others. "Lucene," a voice sounded. She turned around. "Mother," she said shocked. "Danny! What did I tell you about being with her," Danny's voice sounded. "Mommy," he panicked. Soon, the parents started to use their powers in the tank and ground the Prankster ghosts for their actions.

"Well, I must admit things were worked out better than I hope," I smiled to the gang. "Yeah now Brooklyn can have peace again finally," Ballista smiled. "Uh huh and we owe credit to Lauren after all, it was part of the plan," Eddie added. "What do you mean," she asked. "Well Lauren after you left to clear your head we knew convincing you would be difficult so we decided to use duplicates of ourselves to find you in the park when really we were at the building all the time and when the time is right we stroke and you helped us. In your own possible," I explained. "Wow, I didn't realize that I helped you in that way. Guess that explains why I saw twins," Lauren wondered. "Yeah but why don't we get back to the diner and place these guys where they belong," Eddie asked as we walked back to the diner. The sun was shining in Brooklyn once again and the monsters were happy for it even the normal people who were stunned that we did it. We went into the basement and opened up the container unit. "Okay guys in you go," I said giving them a toss into the unit and soon the wall was shut. "That should cool them down for a long while," Eddie said smiling.

Lauren's P.O.V.:

"Yeah and we can't thank you again Lauren," Lottie told me. "It's my pleasure. I guess I never knew me being destined and all would help you in someway," I told them. "What are you destined for," Thorn asked. "All shall be revealed," I answered. "What does that mean," Lottie asked. "Look in to my eyes. You'll see," I said to them as they looked into my eyes and saw the vision of my destiny placed before me. Afterwards they snapped into reality. "You truly are destined Lauren as the descendant of Queen Lucy," Ector smiled and murmured the last part. "Thanks. I feel like I know it's Halloween today but the party," I started to say but soon looked at the others and we gasped. "The party," we shouted. "We have to get you back to the school come on," Thorn said as we took off running over to the school and into the gym where I landed in the first place. "Okay how do we send her back," Lottie asked. "The spotlight," they realized and they got it set. "Lauren before you leave thank you again for everything," Ector smiled. "My pleasure Ector. Keep the town safe guys and feel the power," I told them. They looked at me confused. "It's a motto back home," I explained. They nodded and soon shrugged. "We'll never forget you Lauren," Lottie smiled. "Thank you again," Eddie added. "I'll miss you guys. Okay Ector, Thorn let her rip," I said to the two as they swung the spotlight and I slipped back into reality after that hit from the spotlight hearing the voices of my friends and family. "Oh she's waking up," Hector realized as I started to stir. "Hey guys, what did I miss," I replied with a smile. "Nothing," Keith answered. "Nothing. How long was I out," I asked the others. "About a few minutes," Shock replied. "Few minutes, I thought it was hours," I wondered. They looked at me with strange looks.

"Long story," I answered. "Oh, you can tell us later," Keith told me. "Okay," I smiled as students entered the gym. "But now it's time for one thing," I told the gang getting up. "What's that," Hector asked. "Time to get this Halloween dance party started," I cheered as the others began to join in on the dance floor while Shock spun the tunes. I looked to see the cake still there that was made. "Did you guys write something on the cake," I asked. "Nope but I got it," Keith called making a word ball and a message was placed on the cake as I continued my story.
