The Great Bluefoot Scam
Lauren's P.O.V.:
A few days had passed since the "Great Compromise" as Sean and I dubbed it and let's just say things were back to normal. How would I define normal, you may ask? Well, Annie is accepting Sean and I's friendship with Danny along with Hector, Jess and the gang but Manny and Francine are not having it let's say. Believe us, when we tell you they still think this is a joke. Does it look like were kidding? Anyway, Sean and I were hanging out at the diner with Danny and Shock playing a quick game of Pictionary. "Okay Danny your up," Shock told him. "Alright, don't mind if I do," he said picking up a card with what he to draw on the paper. "Oh I think I got this," he realized getting a piece of paper and started to draw out the picture. "Okay uh one word," I started to think as he drew. "Um, has to do with a part of the body," Sean said looking over. "Could be an animal," Shock said as well. "It's an animal, Shock's right," Danny said drawing. "Okay it's an animal and can we see the whole thing," I asked him. "Sure," he replied showing us what he drew. "It's an oh wait there's water with the animal so it must be an animal that lives in the sea," I started to think.
"Not Spongebob is it," Hector asked fixing his hair in front of a mirror. "Nope," we replied. "See anything else," Danny asked. "Wait, that's the fin of a," Sean started to say. "I got it. It's a dolphin," I guessed. "Lauren's correct it's a dolphin," Danny smiled. "Yes, all right! Way to go Lauren," Shock and Sean smiled. "Thanks. I know my animals," I grinned. Jess soon came in through the door of the diner. "Hey guys, what you doing," she asked seeing us. "Playing Pictionary. Want to join," Danny asked. "I love to but we got homework for school remember," she told us. "Oh right," Sean and I realized knowing we had to get it done otherwise were in big trouble. "Sorry I didn't realize you had to get homework done guys," Danny apologized. "No need Danny but your more than welcome to stop by anytime," Shock told him. "No problem Shock," Danny smiled.
"Okay guys, what do you think," Hector said to us as we looked at him. "Think of what big brother," I asked. "My outfit," he said showing us. "What about your outfit," Jess asked. "You think it's perfect for a Bluefoot expert," he asked showing off. "Dude, it's just your outfit why do you need to worry about it," Sean asked. "FYI, XYZ," Danny told him. "It's not just my outfit Sean it's oh thanks Danny," Hector realized before zipping his fly on the jeans. "You were saying," I asked. "Oh back to my point, I'm worrying that it looks good for the Bluefoot expert here in town getting an interview today," Hector admitted.
"Wait, is Harry interviewing you today for his show Real," Sean started to ask. "Or Fake," Shock, Danny and I finished. "Yep that's today and I want to make sure I look and do good. Besides me being an awesome big brother, and director of course," he grinned. "Yeah someone just asked me the other day when the Electric Players will do another play," I said to the group.
"We need to do a good one," Danny agreed. "We sure do guys but with our video coming up it's going to get crazy," Hector told us. "Yeah we do," I nodded. "Hey have to go, see you guys," Danny said before leaving the diner. "See ya Danny, take care," we called out to him as he left. "Besides Hector, you're going to do great with this. You studied Bluefoot for a long time, no evidence has been spotted about him so you'll do great," I smiled. "Thanks Lauren," he smiled. "No problem," I grinned before Sean and I turned to Jess and worked on homework for school.
Sean's P.O.V.:
"Okay, so what's the assignment we have to do," I asked honestly. "I think it's the density experiment we did where we had to compare which items were dense and less dense," Jess told us. "Well, from what I remembered with the experiment is the mango was less dense then the rock," Lauren recalled reading her notes. "Yeah, your right, that does sound a bell," I said and soon the bell that was attached to the diner dinged. "Like now," I grinned. The door opened and Harry soon came into the diner. I must admit, he's such a nice guy our friend Harry from the planet Skelci. So sweet. "Hey Hector, sorry I'm late. I had to get some things done at home before coming here," he apologized. "No need Harry. I'm ready to get this interview started.
"I know you are. Oh hey Lauren, Jess, Sean," Harry greeted seeing us. "Hey Harry," we replied. "What you guys doing," he asked. "Working on homework for school. Stuff about density," I told him. "Ah," he nodded. "So Sean, we need to conclude which items are dense and less," Jess said as we continued to write down our statement/ conclusion of what we think was dense while Harry and one of his friends set up their cameras for Hector's interview. "Okay guys, we got it. In the end, the more dense items were a rock, grapes and a ceramic tea cup where some of the less dense were a mango, Styrofoam and more importantly wood because their particles out balance the water," I wrote and everyone agreed on that statement knowing this was our conclusion. "Great work guys," Hector smiled. "Thanks big brother," Lauren and Jess smiled. "Harry we are ready to go for the interview," a friend told him. "Oh thanks Jimmy. Let's do it," he said to him. "Okay, we are live in 5,4,3,2," Jimmy counted off before he played the music for Real or Fake and the camera was soon placed on him. Well, not really since he was holding an article near his face about Bluefoot.
"Hello and greetings everyone on the planet Skelci. I'm your host Harry Helthiscotcameragot and welcome to this week's episode of Real or Fake. I am here at the famous Electric Diner where there has been some buzz brewing about a creature no one has ever heard about on Earth, Bluefoot and some rumored sightings here on Earth. Are they real or are they fake? To talk about all of this is a man who knows everything our own expert here in Brooklyn, Hector David Ruiz. Welcome to Real or Fake Hector," Harry greeted his audience before the camera turned on him and he smiled. "Thank you, Harry. It's such a pleasure to be on your show to discuss Bluefoot today," he grinned. "Might be related to Big foot," I muttered to Lauren and Jess who rolled their eyes as we continued to work on homework.
Hector's P.O.V.:
"Our pleasure to Hector. Now our viewers would like to know the answer to our question about Bluefoot. Can you tell us if he's real or fake," Harry asked him before placing the microphone next to me but not quite close. "Well Harry, I must admit in honesty for all of the viewers out there I say fake," I answered. "Oh. Fake I see, can you tell us why you think that way with evidence," he asked. "Sure. In order to become a Bluefoot expert, I had to study everything about him and even look at the news just to find some clues. With the research I had done, I had not seen any sign whatsoever that can honestly convince me he exits," I explained. "So if we understand correctly, you're an expert you don't think is real Hector," Harry wondered. "Oh boy," I heard Sean mutter and Lauren elbowed him. "Ow," he said out loud.
"In answer to your question Harry, yes. Sorry if my sisters best friend got during our convo," I answered. "No need, for some of you who don't know this is Lauren, Hector's little sister along with her best friend Sean and other sister Jess, say hi guys," Harry told them as the camera was placed on them. "Hi guys," they waved before working on homework once again. "So what evidence do you have that can back up your claim about Bluefoot not existing Hector," Harry asked. "Oh yes. Some of the evidence I have collected over the last few months when news broke out and found this picture featured in the front cover of the National Inquirer," I said showing the picture with my special skill. "Well it seems like Bluefoot to me," Harry admitted. "It may seem like that Harry but if you look closely you can see there's a person head in the costume that is "supposed" to be Bluefoot," I explained zooming in. "Oh I see now. It's a Blue Ranger unlike those heroes' you guys call," Harry said confused. "The Power Rangers, by the way don't rat out the Power Rangers okay," I asked silently.
"I won't. The Blue Rangers is a scouting group here on Earth and I hear sometimes they roast marshmallows correct," he asked. "Yep. 100% correct they roast marshmallows and can explain the smell when they claim it's Bluefoot," I answered.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
"Or more like Hector when he makes a smore with two marshmallows," I muttered to Sean while he and Jess started to crack up along with Mario, Shock and Lisa as they giggled about the joke. Yeah, Hector's going to kill me. Lisa secretly joined in helping us with homework when I cracked the joke. "Now Hector as you know local resident George Vlyer has claimed he saw Bluefoot two blocks away from his garden and eating the flowers a few weeks ago. Care to comment," he wondered. "In honesty, all that was there for evidence was half-eaten flowers," Hector told him. "So is it safe to say and conclude that Bluefoot does not exist," Harry wondered. "Honestly Harry I tell your viewers loud and clear until real evidence has surfaced, I say Bluefoot is fake," Hector told him before we felt the breeze of two figures coming into the diner.
Sean, Jess and I looked to see Francine and Manny running in and I was drinking juice then almost choked for crying out loud. "Hi Hector," Francine flirted with him before I gagged. "Francine. What are you and Manny doing here? This is my interview not yours," he replied. "Oh. I know that, it's just Manny and I came by with some news," she told us. "What news is that? Your finally going to stop the obsessive crush on our brother and go to military school," Jess asked before Sean and I looked at her. "What? I figured with all the pranks she done, she had to go to military school," Jess said in defense.
"No and anyway, we just spotted Bluefoot down the block," she told the camera. "What," I said doing a spit take. "What," Hector and Harry asked in unison. "Yeah and lucky for Francine she got a picture," Manny said as she held up the image. "See Hector? How's that evidence for your claim," Manny taunted. "Okay Manny that's enough, you aim one more taunt at my brother and I will rant at you two no more like song burn," I threatened Manny and he looked at me. "Come on Lauren, please," he smirked. "You want to go there," Sean asked standing up. "No," he realized.
"Well viewers, this is getting interesting because we now have 3 Bluefoot experts and Hector what do you have to say to this," Harry asked before the camera went back to him. "HEY YOU GUYS," he yelled out loud in shock and desperation. "I think he needed to say that. We'll be back after these messages," Harry said realizing he called the gang together and soon shut off the camera for a bit. All of us soon heard the stampede of feet coming into the diner and there standing were Keith, PJ, and Mario. "You called the gang," they asked seeing us. "Yep. Come on around boys, we got a good one today," Sean grinned like a two-year-old. "What do we got man," Mario asked. "Bluefoot case," I told him.
Mario's P.O.V.:
"Bluefoot," we asked confused. "Yep," Jess replied emphasizing the p. "How did this happen," I wondered. "Well, Hector was doing his interview when these two," Lauren started to explain pointing to Francine and Manny who were sitting where we were originally. "Barged right in and claimed they spotted Bluefoot and a picture to prove it," Sean added after Lauren. "Okay, how did we miss all of this? Keith, I thought you told PJ and I were going bowling," I said looking at Keith. "Guys, can we not argue about bowling now? We have to help Hector and pretty soon Sean and I might want to do a song burn," Lauren asked us. "Uh Lauren, what's a song burn," Harry asked.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
"It's when we burn someone or people with a song," I answered. "Harry were back in 3,2," Jimmy told him before switching the camera back on. "Welcome back everyone to Real or Fake. In case you missed earlier Francine Carruthers and Manny Spamboni claimed they spotted Bluefoot about a block away from the diner and now Hector is examining all the evidence they have but the question remains is it real or is it fake? Let's find out," Harry said before the camera went back on us again. "Honestly I'm going to put this out there guys but I think Francine and Manny are doing this just to get attention," I said making my statement to the group. "I second Lauren's statement guys," Hector said and everyone agreed except for a certain two who looked at us.
"Hold on a second Lauren, I can't believe you would go far to say we were making this up," Manny told me. "Says the people who thought our friendship with Danny was a joke and we were trying to get attention when really we didn't," Sean fought back. "Come on, why would you think that," Francine asked. "Simple of I don't know to get attention," Jess answered. "Make Hector more foolish," Keith said before we stared at him. "What not by mine but theirs," he defended. "Because you were bored," Lisa suggested. "And you think were gullible," Hector added. "Please you think we did this to get you gullible? We saw Bluefoot and you didn't Mr. Expert," Manny shot at him.
"Excuse me. May we remind you he's our brother and honestly. I don't think the evidence is real," Jess sassed. "Yeah and not to mention the photo looked blurry according to me when Francine showed it," I said to them. "I second Lauren's statement. You couldn't even tell if it was real or not. Trust me, I looked a whole bunch of times in order to figure it out," Mario said adding into the conversation.
"Ha! So if we heard correctly Manny, Hector can't prove it's real. Point us," Francine cheered. "Oh really? Want proof? We'll give you proof," I smacked back and they looked at us. "Guys we need proof and stact," I told them regretting my sentence from earlier. "Okay, Lauren. I know your trying to help out but the," Hector started to say. "First piece of evidence," Francine interrupted. "Excuse us," we all told her. "Back to what he was saying. It was a blurry photograph and doesn't mean anything," I told them.
"How? You don't have any proof," Francine shot back. "Actually, I do," Hector grinned. "Oh really? If you think your smart on proof Mr. "expert" how's this for evidence," Manny showed us holding a bag.
Sean's P.O.V.:
"Uh, wants in the bag," Keith, Mario, Shock and I asked. "Bluefoots paw prints found in the mud by us," Manny smirked. "Come on Manny. That's not mud it's cement," I told him. "Yeah and you think were that gullible believing you guys," Hector asked. "I'm not saying yes and not saying no," Francine said facing the camera before Lauren fake gagged again. "Come on. Just admit the fact you made this up," I told them. "Yeah. I think you guys made the evidence up and this is not Bluefoot's so point us," Lauren clapped back as I highfived my best friend. "Hold on you two. I just want to prove if it is or isn't okay," Hector told us. "Oh how about this? Fur of Bluefoot. Take that Chicken Pot Pie," Manny taunted. "ALRIGHT MANNY THAT'S IT, I HAD ENOUGH OF YOU CALLING HECTOR CHICKEN POT PIE! HOW DARE YOU ADDRESS MY BROTHER," Lauren started to rant at him walking up to his face telling him and I just stood up and got Lauren. "Lauren. At ease, control remember," I told her before she started breathing slowly and calming down. "Sorry, should have not reacted like that," Lauren apologized.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
"No need sis. Honestly, you had every right to do so but don't let the anger boil okay," Hector told me. "Okay," I smiled. "Now back to our debate do we have a way to view and study this fur just a bit close," Harry asked knowing the camera was rolling. "Actually, we do," Hector smiled. "You do," Francine and Manny asked. "Yep. I got a microscope right here in my backpack and so that way we can see it closely," Hector smiled. "Simple right," I asked the two. "Uh who had an idea for a microscope," Manny stuttered. I looked at Sean and we both nodded knowing we were right, and the trap was set for them to admit the scam.
"Okay, I'll take one of the hairs of Bluefoot. Lauren, can you," he asked. "Sure thing," I said gently plucking a piece of his hair. "Thank you sis. Now, I'll just put these two under and we will compare them," Hector said as he studied it. All of us waited with bated breath as he examined it. "Well, would you look at this guy," he said doing his special skill showing us the picture. "It looks to me that Bluefoot's hair is the same as our hair," he smiled. "Oh," we burned knowing we got them. "Nice job with the microscope Hector," Harry cheered highfiving him.
"Hold on, this means his fur is similar to our hair," Manny told us. "I was going to ask have you studied genetics," I asked Francine and Manny staring at them. "Manny does bring an interesting point," Harry pointed out. "Oh guess what else I found, the fur is painted so that means evidence is made up," Hector smiled and we all burned at that. "Yes," Sean and I grinned. "Oh no way it isn't. We all know this happens around this time of year," Francine denied. "Liars," Sean and I smirked. "What did you call us," Manny asked. "Liars," I smiled. "Well fellow Skeleckians, don't you just love the back and forth of the experts. It's awesome," Harry grinned.
"Uh Harry, I hate to be honest with you but Francine and Manny are not experts," I told him. "Yeah their just Pranskters and we concluded that their evidence isn't real," Hector added. "How are they going to top that knowing a trap is set," Sean asked. "I don't know," I shrugged. "Oh you really want proof Electric Company? How about you all come to the library tonight and bring your microscope with you to see Bluefoot for yourself," Manny smacked. "What? Are you crazy," I asked. "No because I know that's where he will be," he replied.
"Mm. No polite pass," I smiled. "How do you that for sure Manny," Hector asked. "Because I know the secrets on how to bring Bluefoot out of hiding," Manny told us. "This just got worse," Sean muttered. "Yeah so library sleepover anyone," I asked. "I thought you said no," Hector wondered. "Changed my mind and honestly, I'm up for a sleepover," I told him. "I'm coming," Sean grinned. "Well guys, pack your bags were having a library sleepover. Make sure to tune in tonight for part two of Bluefoot on Real or Fake," Harry said speaking into the camera before it clicked off. "You really think it's going to work out in there favor Hector," I asked him as we walked home. "Oh no way Lauren. Besides, I could tell they made this up and honestly I just don't believe in the lies," he smiled. "Yeah you don't," I smiled as we got inside the house to pack our stuff for the sleepover. "Okay Hector I got the PJ's, books, homework," I said ratting off the list of putting things on my bed.
"Actually Lauren, I need you to do me a favor. I need you to stay home tonight," Hector asked. "What? Me but I thought," I said to him. "I know but I need someone to stay home while," Hector explained. "Jess is home with me and Sean's above my room and I will tap him just in case," I told him. "I know Laur but mom," Hector started to say. "Don't worry Hector. We'll make sure to lock up the house and mom has the key and will be home soon but for now just focus on the Bluefoot thing," Jess suggested coming into my room.
"Thanks sis. Okay Lauren, your coming over for the sleepover," Hector smiled. "What's going on about a sleepover," a voice sounded in the doorway. "Hi mom," I greeted her. "Hey Lauren, hi Hector. You kiddos doing okay," she asked. "Yes mom were fine. Were having a sleepover in the library," I answered. "Why in the library? You guys know that's off limits at night right," mom wondered. "We do but were trying to support Hector's claim that Bluefoot doesn't exist," Jess smiled. "Hold on. Is it that story I heard coming home," she asked us. "I think it is mom," Hector said to her. "Okay, then who has access to the library at night," she wondered again. "Manny Spamboni," Jess admitted. "Manny Spamboni?! For tonight?! Guys, I know this may sound harsh but he's a Prankster," mom told us. "Yeah and he says he's the expert not Hector," I added.
"Oh that's what he said now? Well, it leaves me no choice but to tell you guys, no sleepover at the library," mom told us. "What? But mom," we groaned. "No ad lib complaining guys. You know crime has been increasing at this rate," she told us. "It's the other burrows mom, not us," Hector pleaded. "Yeah and Hector will be fine, hopefully no arguments," Jess muttered. "I know Jess and it's the weekend, but you know you can't trust Manny," mom told us. "She's right," Hector shrugged. "Yeah so why don't you and Jess go to the library and camp there while I hang here at home with mom and Sean can come over to my place to sleepover," I suggested.
"Works for me," Jess agreed. "Fine by that," Hector said as he packed up his things along with Jess as they planned to camp in the library. "Mom, is there a reason why I can't join them? Besides the fact that I'm you know young," I asked her. "Not sure sweetheart, but somethings you will do with your brother and sister someday yet some you already do," she told me before I heard a knock on the door. "Coming," I called out and soon went to the door to see Sean in the hallway with a pillow and suitcase. "Got the stuff," he smiled. "Hey buddy. Listen change of plans, were camping here in my house," I told him. "What? Were not going to the library? Come on Hector," Sean told him as he came out.
"Not on my account it's," Hector said before mom waved at him. "Oh. Hi Ms. Ruiz. So, what are we going to do about the Bluefoot thing," he realized. "Lauren has a webcam set up to her laptop that way we can communicate easily. So, I'm bringing my laptop to connect with hers with the camera while you guys join in on the conversation here," Hector explained. "Okay, looks like were in on the sleepover after all Lauren," Sean said getting his pillow and suitcase into the house. "Dude, your upstairs why do you need all of this," Jess asked.
"Oh your right, brb," he said before running out and back with just a pillow and PJ's. "Now I'm set," he smiled. "How does he do that," I wondered honestly. "Okay, Lauren, we'll contact you soon okay," Hector told me. "Will do big brother," I told him as he and Jess left the apartment. Mom soon made Sean and I dinner after getting everything set up in my room. I had my laptop ready to go with the camera on so when Hector calls we'll be set.
(At the library)
Hector's P.O.V.:
Jess and I made it into the library where Manny had his camp spot out with gear and everything. Lisa and Keith were sitting far away from the spot as well. Keith was busy playing his guitar and Lisa was reading a new book she found when we showed up. "Hey, sorry were late," Jess apologized. "No need. Where are Lauren and Sean are they coming," Keith asked. "No. Mom wanted Lauren home though she did tell us no sleepover but Lauren compromised saying she and Sean would check in from home while the two of us would stake here for the night," I answered.
"Oh, how would they check in with you guys," Lisa asked. "We have a webcam on my laptop so I can connect up to them," I explained getting it out and hooking up all the wires to the sockets and drives that needed it. "Okay gang, we are set," I smiled getting everything in. "Right on time Hector cause I'm just about to go live with the "real expert"," Harry said coming over. "He's not an expert," Jess told Harry who cleverly talked about Manny. "Am to," Manny fired. "Let's get live before an argument brews," I said breaking it up in time.
"Welcome back and good evening everyone to Real or Fake. We are here in the famous Brooklyn library camping out and preparing to stay up all night in order to see a glimpse of Bluefoot," Harry started to speak before Manny told the mic from him. "Hello Harry, Manny here," Manny spoke. "Oh God," I groaned. "Joining me is Manny Spamboni, another Bluefoot expert besides Hector of course. Now, for everyone watching you say you are a true believer is that correct," Harry asked.
"Very true Harry, very true I am a believer," he answered. "Very good because you are not the only one. According to our viewers at home who called, and texted say 90% of you believe in Bluefoot's existence thanks to evidence while 10% are backing Hector's claims," Harry told the camera. "That's awesome. And if any of the 90% of you believe my evidence, then it must be true unlike someone who doesn't have evidence to prove it," Manny said calling me out. "Excuse me? May I remind you, I examined your evidence with a microscope and found it to be made up," I told him. "Says you," he shot back. "Fine. I'm going to talk to Lauren," I said walking back and calling Lauren on her laptop.
(Back at the Ruiz apartment)
Lauren's P.O.V.:
Sean and I were in my room lounging around when my laptop buzzed with a ringtone from Narnia, I think. "It's Hector," I smiled picking up the ring. "Hey big brother, getting tired yet," I asked. "Nope. Honestly, we just got here and so far no sign whatsoever," he told us. "I was going to say, you have to wait till it gets dark my man," Sean said to him. "True Sean but honestly, I feel like we've been here longer and I'm getting bored," he admitted. "Didn't you pack snacks and everything to keep you up," I wondered. "We did but honestly, I need to call Manny out on this but there is no sign of Bluefoot anywhere so that means I am right, he is wrong," he told us with a grin. "Uh no Hector. I'm right he does exist and honestly he'll be here before you know it," Manny shot back looking over his shoulder. "You guys have waiting for the past like 3 minutes," Sean pointed out and I had to agree with my friend. "Mainly an hour for us," Lisa also added in. "So in all honesty Manny in case you are the "Bluefoot expert"," I said in air quotes. "Yes," he wondered. "How do you explain why he hasn't shown up yet," I asked. "Because he is afraid that's why," he said to us. "Afraid? Please, like he be afraid of anything," Sean smirked. "Oh yes he is, so that's why we need to create the proper conditions so that way he will come out," Manny said walking around the library.
"Like that's gonna work," I told him as he left. "It will work," he told us with a grin. "Okay while you guys work on that, Sean and I are going to discuss," I said as Sean and I sat on my bed. "This is going down the drain fast Lauren, I can't believe Francine and Manny are trying to make the gang gullible," Sean told me. "Yeah but honestly you got to hand it to Hector for keeping calm and collected throughout this whole thing," I agreed and we nodded. Jess, Keith and Lisa were joining in on the conversation. "So you think the Pranksters are going to walk in the trap," Keith asked. "I think they are dude. Trust me, they dug it, fell into it and would do anything to get help. It's like Lauren when she reads the rumors in Tiger Beat about all celebs," Sean said and I looked at him.
"What you do? Remember the one about Big Time Rush last week," he defended. "Come on that was a little thing I overreacted on besides, I'm just focused on solving this once and for all, then we could all get something to the degree of oh I don't know say beauty sleep," I said emphasizing the last part. "Lauren's right. We've been here for a while and I am tired," Jess yawned honestly getting tired. "No, you can't get tired now. We need to create the proper conditions for Bluefoot," Manny pleaded. "How so Manny? There's no way you can create their conditions," Sean asked. "Oh yes I can Sean and one of them we need to do is humming," Manny explained. "Humming," we asked confused. "Uh huh. Everyone knows that Bluefoot loves humming," Francine explained.
"Elaborate more please," I wondered. "The mother Bluefoot would wake them up every morning with the hum in order for them to be nurtured," Manny said in reply. "Hold on a minute, I read somewhere that it wasn't the case. Did you guys read the article in the National Enquirer and honestly Francine, I don't think you got all those badges in scouts," I admitted. "You weren't in my troop Lauren," she told me. "I know that," I said to her before she and the others started humming. I could tell Hector wasn't buying it, neither were Sean and I so we had to do something. "Might as well get them to admit now," I told Hector before yawning. "Yeah, think so too. Manny, I hate to damper the fun with this but Bluefoot is not here so just admit the fact that you and Francine made this up," Hector said putting his foot on the ground or in this case, the boot.
"I would love to but I can't because he's going to come Hector," Manny replied. "How? With your imagination," Sean smirked and I hit him in the elbow. "Ow, Lauren. What gives," he replied hugging his elbow. "Focus! Besides, he's doing stalling and where's Francine," I asked. "I don't know," the others said shrugging. "If we can just stop the blabbering here, I know the Bluefoot friendship call. How's that Hector or should I say Chicken Pot pie," Manny shot at him. "HEY," I said staring at Manny who looked red in the face after saying that.
"Okay, with that. I'm going to, I'm gonna get some sleep. I need it," I said yawning before getting into my bed. "Alright, night sis," Jess and Hector said as I got into the covers. "I'll be up watching and will wake you if anything happens Lauren," Sean told me. "Thanks Sean," I said to him as I started to close my eyes and let darkness consume me into my dream.
(Dream sequence)
Lauren's P.O.V.:
I was standing in the midst of a winter wonderland while snowflakes were falling all around me. I also smiled, I couldn't help but smile throughout the whole thing as I stood watching the beauty of it. My thoughts stopped when I saw a young girl in a dress walk out from a clearing and was rapturized by the beauty of the place as I was. She was happy and filled with glee as I followed her footsteps gently across the snow that crunched under my feet. I was standing away distance wise and continued to follow her till we reached a clearing where a lamppost burning brightly was standing there. I was confused at this when the snow just suddenly melted away into spring grass and the girl changed.
She wore a medieval style dress with a red cloak around her shoulders and a silver and yarrow leaf crown on her head. She looked so amazing almost around my age as I looked on. "Oh there you are, come please do come," she said calling to me. I looked around before pointing to me. "Yes, come," she said before I walked over to her. "I know you are waiting for your destiny Lauren, the time is nearly there to meet the other descendants meant to fulfill this with you," she told me. "How do you know my name," I asked. "I am related to you Lauren. If you look at the family tree you will see my name," she answered. "That doesn't make sense," I said confused.
"You are like my sister Susan, your aunt. I mean to say, my legend was written in the book you love yet it is real," she said with a chuckle and I couldn't understand it. "You mean Narnia is," I asked. "Yes. I'm your great, great, great, great, great aunt Lauren. I'm Lucy Pevensie, you are my descendant destined to rule," she told me with a smile. "But, that can't be," I said surprised. "It can be my dear," a deep voice sounded and I saw a lion approach Lucy. "Hello Aslan," she greeted. "Hello my dear one," he smiled before turning to me. "Aslan. Is that you," I stuttered. "Hello Lauren. Your time is coming to find out who you are really meant to be. Don't be afraid to take these things head on as your aunt did. Know you can bring hope to your world and Narnia," he said to me. "I think I can," I admitted. "I know you will Lauren," he said before a voice called my name.
End dream
Sean's P.O.V.:
"Lauren, hey Lauren wake up! Something happened, wake up girl," I said nudging my best friend awake but she was still asleep. "I can't believe I'm doing this but LAUREN WAKE UP," I said yelling out the last part and she woke up. "Huh what," she said stunned. "I woke you up because the three of us were right," I smiled telling her. "What do you mean," she asked. "Well, turns out Francine and Manny did make this up to get attention and get us all gullible so point us," Hector cheered. "How were you able to figure it out," Lauren questioned. "Francine came out wearing a Bluefoot costume and Hector unmasked her," Jess smiled. "Wow. Great job guys. Now, can I get back to sleep," she asked honestly. "Oh yeah right. Get back to bed sis," they agreed as she went back to bed knowing this worked out in the end, or did it?
(The next day)
Lauren's P.O.V.:
The gang and I were hanging out at the diner after Church discussing about last night when Lisa mentioned something about marshmallows. "I did smell something like that last night but I don't think it was him or Francine and Manny making a prank again," Hector said to us as I leaned on Sean's shoulder. Yeah, I was still tired but not a whole lot if I'm being up frank and honest with you guys. "We would do that after yesterday but we got the grounding from our parents," Manny said walking in along with Francine who popped by.
"Good to know," Sean smiled as they sat down. "Welcome to part 3 of Real or Fake everybody. As you saw last night, it seems Bluefoot might have put his best foot forward," Harry said speaking into the camera before chuckling at his joke yet I just shook my head in saying nice dude, nice.
"I don't understand this at all guys, he seemed so gentle," Lisa said in honesty. "Yeah but it seemed to me he looked to be more afraid of us than us to him. It's sort of like apples to oranges," Keith agreed with Lisa's statement. "Now hold on a just a second Lisa, you mean to tell me that you believe in him too?! After all we went through last night," Hector asked unsure. "Calm down Hector, she's making a point and you guys did catch Francine and Manny faking it last night so the question is what else could it be," I added in telling Hector to calm down.
"Lauren's right. Sean and her filled me in on everything that happened so Hector is right taking this with a grain of salt for sure," Shock added. "Yeah it did seem legit to me though were on different sides of the aisle," Manny added in with honesty. "I agree with Manny on this when I said I smelled the marshmallows," Jess added in. "I too. I told PJ everything and honestly we agree that something must be up," Keith agreed. "Do you think it could be something else Lauren besides are you guys really gullible at believing everything," Hector said standing up desperate. "Hector calm down. Your overreacting on this. Besides all of us are not gullible in seeing or believing everything. Remember the pink elephant thing back in elementary school," I told him.
"What pink elephant," everyone asked. "Jess and I were told from a friend of ours back when we were in kindergarten that a pink elephant was spotted here in town," I started to recall. "Believe us when we say it wasn't the case and it was just an annoying joke," Jess added. "Yeah we told Hector and since then he advised us to take everything we hear, with a grain of salt," I said finishing the story in shortness. "Wow. So, there must be another explanation besides if you guys made it up again," Sean said talking to Manny and Francine. "We would never make it up again after getting the talk from our parents," Francine added knowing they learned their lesson. "True but maybe just maybe guys there might be more clues back at the library," I suggested.
"That's a good idea Lauren. Why don't we go back to the library and check for more evidence," Hector said agreeing with my idea. "As much as I would like to join big brother, I can't. I got homework," Jess told us showing the backpack. "I'm with her. I couldn't even get it done last night so it's crunch time for me but let us know if you find something okay," Keith said agreeing. "Okay I will. Lisa come on your joining me. Lauren, Sean you coming," Hector said to us. "Coming," we told him walking out of the diner with Francine and Manny in tow along with Harry and Jimmy recording the whole thing. We took the subway over near the library and was discussing all the pieces that we had so far.
"I guess this mystery seems to be harder than we thought Hector," I told my brother as we walked. "Yeah unlike the statue and coin thing you showed me the other day it was pretty much self-forward this one seems to be a bit finer tuning than expected," he agreed. "For sure but do you think this is all just a prank," Sean asked. "Not sure but hopefully we can get answers," I said assuring my friend. "Step right up Bluefoot believers, step right up get complimentary action figures here. Collect the whole set of $6.99 each, "a voice sounded as we turned into the library well near it I should say. "Did you guys hear that," I asked honestly. "Yeah I did and that guy looks very familiar," Hector said suspicious.
Sean's P.O.V.:
"Yeah and not to mention the gorilla with him wait a minute is that," I started to say before Lauren and the others looked at me. "PAUL," we said in surprise. "What's Paul doing here," Francine asked. "I don't know but I have a strange feeling is the guy Harry mentioned in the vlog. Harry what was his name you said," I asked. "George Vlyer," he told us. "You don't think that's him do you," Hector asked. "Hold on Hector can you pull up his picture," Lauren asked. "Sure thing," he said before blowing it up. "He, oh my God," Hector gasped. "No," Manny added.
"Your serious and shut up," Francine and Lisa gasped. "I knew it. It is that guy," I said before everyone looked at me. "I mean not really," I said. "Okay now that we know it's him, how do we go about this," Francine asked. "Well, there is one way to do this. We need to play it cool," I answered. "How," they asked. "Take our lead," Lauren said before walking over to the table with all of the stuff.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
"Hey Paul," I greeted him with a smile and Paul grunted hi back. "Hi are you George Vlyer by any chance," I asked turning to him. "Oh yes I am. Are you here to get some Bluefoot merch," he asked excitedly. "No, it is just that we had a question for you, if you don't mind," Sean told him. "Please by all means ask away," he told us. "Is it true that you claim Bluefoot ate your flowers right, the half-eaten ones," I asked. "Oh those? I don't if that's the case guys, I'm sorry but honestly I can say it is true," he denied somewhat. "So what your saying is you don't deny it but you sort of are," Sean wondered. "Oh yes I mean no uh care for slippers," he stuttered. "No thanks. You know I must admit, business must be going well for you after people claim to spot seeing him," Hector said playing on.
"Oh I see it. Are you guys the skeptical people," he asked sort of catching on. "No but not really," Lisa replied as Paul dropped some boxes onto the pavement. "Paul. You alright buddy," Sean asked coming over as I joined him helping Paul up not before seeing cans on the ground. "Might I ask what are these," I asked. "Oh, nothing," George denied. "Wait, marshmallow air freshener spray, "I read the label. "Uh anyone up for marshmallows," George asked. "Hey Paul what's in the box," Lisa asked before he lifted it up to show everyone. "DUDE PUT AWAY MY BLUEFOOT COSTUME," George cried before putting it back in the box. Easy trap figured and done. "That's your costume," I asked. "Uh yeah," he admitted.
"You are such a Vlyer," Francine accused him. "You made this up," Hector asked. "How on Earth could you do this," Lisa sassed. "It was easy actually. You guys believe everything, your gullible," he told us. "Uh may we remind you we are not gullible but I think it's time we leave you a little tip. Hector," I asked. "Go for it," he said as Sean and I heard music.
La, La, la, la, la, la, la, la, (Sean: That's right, Lauren and Sean are in the building and we got news)

End song
Hector's P.O.V.:
"Well, I think I can say on that note, you just got burned. More like song burned," Harry sang the burn part while we joined in and George was not happy about it. I mean not happy. "I know and I am sorry like really, truly sorry. I ask for forgiveness. Please," he told us.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
As soon as I heard, sorry and ask for forgiveness I turned over to George and walked right over to him. "You mean it George," I asked him. "More than anything Lauren. I learned my lesson. Please," he replied. I smiled and soon had an idea. "Lauren, what are you doing," Hector asked noticing my smile. "Something my uncle would do. More like many greats uncle," I said before standing in a regal position but not to regal. "George Vlyer, under the context of many kingdoms, lies such as these shall consider the person charged with treason against the crown. However, my destiny and time has not come yet. Therefore, with all the power in me and my friends, I hereby decide to forgive you and pardon you of your wrongdoing. Let this be a message to all who may hear. No matter what, all will be forgiven and redeemed. This I make to you all," I said announcing to everyone George's pardon.
They looked at me with surprise as I said those words but soon took them to heart and bowed and curtsied before me. George looked at me with surprise and his eyes wide open knowing I did the right thing. "Thank you Your Majesty, thank you. I vow to never do it again," he said kissing my hand. "No need to thank me George just do me a favor can't you stop kissing my hand it's a little awkward," I asked honestly. "Oh sorry. My bad," he said realizing what I was asking for and soon packed up his little station. "Well Lauren, guess someone learned a lesson about spreading false information," Sean told me. "He sure did. Come on, let's head back to the diner," I told the others. "Francine? Manny you guys want to come," Sean asked. "Uh no thank you mister. We got some revenge planning to do," Manny cackled before he and Francine took off. "Pleasure doing business," Lisa called out.
"Guess they didn't want to today," Hector shrugged. "Yeah but let's go so we can tell the others all is well," I smiled as Harry joined in with us on the walk back to the diner while recording for his vlog. "So as of now everyone, our viewers at home revoted and now 90% of you say Bluefoot is fake. Which is honestly good news my fellow Slekeclians and you might be wondering after this Bluefoot episode people on Earth are simply gullible for everything, but let's not forget these are the same adventurous Earth people who put a person on the Moon and who are willing to pardon those who deserve it most. Until then, this is Harry Helthiscotcameragot signing off for this weeks episode of Real or Fake," Harry said speaking into the camera as we went back to the diner to see Jess, Keith, PJ, Mario and Shock working on homework.
"You guys still," I wondered. "Yeah but were done for now. So any luck," Keith asked. "Fake for sure. George made it up," Hector told them. "Geez," they winced. "But Lauren chose to pardon him and honestly that's the best thing ever," Sean replied. "Aw, stop it guys," I blushed. "No really Lauren. You did a brave thing," Harry smiled. "Thanks. I'm just glad more than ever this is settled," I grinned honestly. "I hear you sister. Now I can just focus on hanging with all of you guys," Hector smiled. "Agreed," we smiled before seeing a creature and people following him well no people but a blue creature. "Paul? You alright," I called out to him as he came into the diner. He grunted saying he tripped on spray paint from earlier and it made him blue and white. "Okay. Shock, get the buckets," I told Shock. "I'll get the water," Jess said standing up. "I'll get the cloths," the others said as we all decided to help Paul. Honestly, word of advice don't believe everything you see people.
Pfew! Longest chapter ever written! Holy moly. I'm telling you guys this was so fun and I had to put my little Lucy spin on it so hope you enjoy this chapter. I will be typing the next one pretty soon.
By the way credits to Nick and Victorious for the song Take a Hint and the Narnia soundtracks for the pardon part of the story.
