Ash is turned on by his friends and then killed alongside his mother by an old enemy. Five years later, the Master's Tournament is held in the Tandor region to commemorate its reopening. Ash's old friends go there to have a good time and win the tournament. But why does the Tandor Champion seem to hate them? And what role will he play in the upcoming crisis? Set in Pokemon Uranium.

Pokemon: The Champion's Revenge - Update

Hey guys! It's been about 2 months since I posted the first chapter of this story so I thought I would put out a quick update. I am working through the next chapter and currently have a bit more than two thousand words written. I am pretty sure that I will be able to keep my original goal of writing this in three months and the new chapter will be posted by the end of November.

I also wanted to take this time to address a review from Mark Andrew. Here it is:

First of all, thanks a lot for the nice words about the chapter. It means a lot to me. And to address the problem of Ash's age: yeah, I know. Ash should be older. I love Game Theory and have watched their video about Ash's age (where I assume you got the age from) and cannot agree more. However, I don't think having Ash be 17 would work with this story. If Ash was seventeen and saw his mom get murdered, he wouldn't have been as scarred. Since Ash was only thirteen, his brain wasn't as developed and he wasn't as independent as he would've been at seventeen. That and twenty-two would be a bit too old for 'Red'. I want him to be young and smart yet not wise. Trying to lead a region the best he can, but still broken and not experienced enough. So for those reasons lets just say that in this universe, Ash 'speedran' his journey in three years and didn't train as much as he would have (also contributing to the fact that he was weak before and could have been a lot stronger if he trained his Pokemon more.
