"Why do they call them Endbringers? are they really that powerful?"

Jason asked, Gaea's words were painting a picture for them, one he wasn't sure that he liked. A world with a broken economy, even in the powerful countries was not a good picture. if the first world countries were swallowed in corruption, then it was safe to assume the poorer countries didn't have a central government anymore. the Endbringers bothered him, especially the Simurgh. It was in his father's domain, he didn't like the sound of her staying unchallenged in the orbit.

"If a child of Poseidon was in a body of water that had no one to challenge him for control of it, he would be as powerful a hydrokinetic as the Leviathan. These abominations are constructs, machines. They were never alive, and were never human, as some mortals believe. they are machines that were meant to provoke conflict in the host species of the entity, but their controlling mechanism is not in the entity's hands now. I don't know more than this, for all I know was given to me upon awakening by the One above."- at these words, the Primordials all stiffened, eyes wide looking at Gaea- "I have learned that with the power of the many mortals that have been granted a seed of power attacking them every time they surface, still they destroy what they wanted to destroy most of the time. They often would shrug off most hits on them, come and destroy the city they want, then leave. Sometimes a golden man would come and drive them back, but even then the damage to the target city is crippling. With the Behemoth, the city would be left a radioactive wasteland, with the Leviathan, the city would sink under the waves, and with the Simurgh, the city would have half of it's population maddened, and the rest walled off from the rest of the world, just in case. This is the reason they are called Endbringers. Because without fail, every three months, one of them attacks a city around the world, and the city is doomed to death."

On that somber note, the gathering was finished, to to begin again on a later date.

"It's now time to speak about superheroes and supervillains. superhero is a term used for Parahumans, a term use to signify those that have a seed of power from the entity, that supposedly stand for the law, and order, and fight to stop crime, and have the backing of the government in their endeavors. most are a part of a government sponsored superhero team of their respective country, but some may be found that are independent, and fight crime on their own. Then we have the supervillains. A group of Parahumans that are against the law, use their powers to break the law, like stealing, protection rackets, prostitution, and other gang related crimes. They can have a gang of unpowered minions to do their bidding, or a team of like-minded fellow Parahumans to use and attack other Parahumans, or both. Every other day, there may be a battle between a supervillain and a superhero, that usually ends with the supervillain running away. They involve a lot of posturing, trash talk, and a fair bit of damage to the surrounding environment."

"Wait a moment, this looks like a giant game of cops and robbers just with the stakes a bit higher." It was Katie Gardener who said this, asking what was on everyone's mind. Gaea smiled at this, a cold little thing, and said,

"That may be so, but there is a fair bit of money spinning around the superheroes, from the media industry to toys and action figures. although there are some who take things too far, or those that would be serial killers in a life without powers, the figurative monsters that live among the mortals, those tend to be killed with prejudice. there are some who are unkillable, or hard to kill, those tend to be treated like the Endbringers, with the Parahumans trying to do damage control."

After hearing that, Hazel asked, "Are we powerful enough to put a stop to those threats? It seems like a very bad situation to be in."

Ananke chose that moment to say, "Do not worry young hero. they can all be brought down. it is inevitable."

"She's right," Gaea said, "Most of those powers are based around the seeds of the entity. you cannot be affected most esoteric powers, and the physical ones can be planned against. You will triumph against them."

And so, the other nuances of the society of earth bet were explained, the so called 'unwritten rules',("It is a giant game of cops and robbers then", Leo said), the birdcage, the situation with Moord Nag and ash beast in Africa, the Three Blasphemies in the Europe, the Endbringer worshipping cults in America, the slaughterhouse nine, the place that the demigods would establish themselves (which is in America), the PRT and the Protectorate in America, the Guild in Canada, the classifications of the Parahumans, secret identities, Parahuman names, and costumes ("so it's like a Halloween party with super powers in the mix", Connor Stoll murmured), and the campers were finally ready to leave for earth bet.

"How are we going to get there? As I know, none of you has the power to hop dimensions on a whim." Percy said while trying to not sound too skeptical.

The demigods looked at each other, trying not to point out the elephant in the room, when Thanatos said, "We will be travelling to the mansion of Night, my mother's home,"- hearing that, Percy, Nico and Annabeth suppressed shivers of terror-" and since the dimensional barrier is thinner there, we would use ancient magic to rip a portal in space and time, and go to earth bet. On that planet, because of the presence of the Entity, the dimensional barrier is very thin, and any of us Primordials can travel at will."

There was an unholy gleam in Nyx's eyes, and she said,"Oh, don't worry, Annabeth Chase, when we are in my mansion, I will give you and your friends a proper tour of the place!"

A collective, simultaneous shiver went up every demigod's spine, and a few glares were directed towards Annabeth.

After an uncharacteristically nice and surprisingly only mildly horrifying trip, the gods and demigods reached the edge of the mansion, where there was only a cliff side, and then nothing. The Primordials started to chant, and reality trembled. It was such an old and powerful language that the world shook, the air glowed, and the darkness solidified. Suddenly, a glowing rift appeared in the darkness, and a platform of light materialized in front of them. the supplies were sent to the other side, and the demigods gathered their courage, and moved towards the portal before they could have second thoughts. they moved in a tunnel of eldritch light, and they were on the other side.

A/N: man this is seriously lazy writing!! but anyway, I mostly do it for my own pleasure, and I don't really have much of a plot.
so if you have any suggestions, please send them to me!
this was a spur of the moment thing, but I had a lot of fun writing it. sometimes I curse myself for posting the previous chapters so I could change them now, but it is what it is.
all of the characters may appear OOC, but that's expected. it's an amateur work. don't burn!
