Hey Guys...probably surprised to see me back after another long time of being gone for...who knows how long. Well...it's been a really rough time for me involving the real-world stuff...and it's only fair you guys knew what's been going on.

So, to start things off, I was unfortunately one of the many victims who had caught Covid and...bloody hell, it's not fun when you have a sickness that lasts for a long while. Thankfully, I'm feeling a lot better compared to back then.

The next thing I want to talk about and...one that...really had me away too. So, remember when I mentioned that I had finally gotten married? Well, during that time, my wife had gotten the news that...well, we had a baby on the way!

I was so excited at the news since I was finally gonna be a dad! My wife a few months pregnant with them and every day had me excited!

But...on the day when my wife had given birth to what would've been our baby girl...she didn't make it and sadly passed away a few days later at the hosipital.

I was completely heartbroken, as was my wife since we had everything prepared at home for our new arrival, only for it to be shattered in a mere instance.

Our feelings stayed like this for a long while...but...some good news had come and...my wife was pregnant with another kid again. This time, we made sure we'd do whatever it took to make sure this one made it.

And...a few months later and at home...our baby girl is sleeping in her crib! So yeah, I am now actually a dad now! Her name is Miku as I had wanted to name her based on one of the characters from the Godzilla series and my wife loved it too.

And speaking of Godzilla, which brings us here...I had asked my wife on whether or not if I should've come back here after having left you guys for so long. Well, she told me to as I had been scribbling down short stories involving Godzilla and other animes where he could potentially fit and it made her think now was as good of a time to finally come back as it was something I was back to loving again.

And believe me when I say it...I may have gone through some rough times...but it felt good to finally be back on here once again and provide you guys with my story once more.

I do hope you guys understand the trials I went through and this time I promise that if something were to happen and I'd gone for a while, I'll be sure to let you all know.

But without further ado, it's time for the LONG-awaited Chapter 3 of The King's Reign of Destruction!

Enjoy~!

The King's Reign of Destruction

Chapter 3

Hidden Allies! Luffy V.S Godzilla!?

-Present (With Robin)

"W-What...exactly do you mean I'm the key to defeating Godzilla?" Robin asked the man, both with curiosity, but also worry.

The armored soldier was about to explain, but a small beeping sound was heard coming from within his pocket. Reaching into it, he proceeded to pull out some strange...metal looking device where the noise was coming from.

Opening it up, Robin watched as he talked into it, immediately showing that it was a communicator of some kind, "Hello...yes captain, I've got her right here just like you asked."

Captain? So then...it's who he's working for that has them interested in me, Robin thought to herself.

The armored soldier nodded his head as the voice on the other end spoke to him, before speaking up, "Understood."

Seemingly done with his conversation, he held the communicator in front of him before pressing a button and just threw it onto the floor in front of Robin. Of course, not having expected it, she had herself ready for what was about happen.

And she was half right as suddenly a flash of light took over the room, forcing her to cover her eyes from how bright it was. Eventually though it died down as there was now a glow of light in front of her as-

"Nico Robin. Bout damn time we finally got to meet face to face." A new voice spoke up.

Eyes widening in surprise, Robin brought her arms down to look and now before her stood a new person she hadn't seen before...at least...she assumed it was a person.

The man wore a trench coat with large boots and the most noticeable feature about him was a long samurai sword strapped to his waist. The odd thing however was that the man...was completely blue which Robin had no clue as to why that was the case.

Of course, still skeptical about all of this, Robin still played things out carefully, "And who...are you supposed to be?"

Letting out a small cough, he proceeded to explain, "I know we don't have much time, so I'll be brief for right now till we can meet in person."

Robin was about to interrupt him, but the man continued, "Nico Robin, you may not realize it, but the knowledge you have for being part of the extinct Ohara people is the key to helping us take down Godzilla. And you should know exactly what I'm talking about as well."

She HATED hearing that as Robin knew exactly what he was talking about, He must be talking about the Poneglyph's...I have to play this carefully.

Not one to let her emotions get the better of her at least right now, Robin calmed herself and carefully chose her words to speak, "You mean...the...Poneglyph?"

The man nodded, "Indeed. We'll need your help in searching for them in order to uncover the secrets to taking down Godzilla."

*RUMBLE!*

The ground shook suddenly as a muffled explosion could be heard outside, making Robin nearly lose her footing while the armored man was able to keep himself up.

"Is that bastard still causing chaos?" The man asked.

The armored man nodded, "Unfortunately, yes. Godzilla is still rampaging throughout Water Seven, and it doesn't seem like he's going to be stopping any time soon."

Nodding, the man began to explain their plan, "Alright, considering the situation and knowing that the World Government is looking for her, I need you to keep her safe till then while we make our way over there. Ozaki, I'm trusting you to make sure NOTHING happens to Nico Robin, understand?"

Robin's eyes widened in fear at the mention of the World Government and herself at the same time, What?! How did he know the World Government is after me?!

Revealing the armored man's name to be Ozaki, he saluted before his captain, "You can count on me, Captain Gordon."

Simply nodding again, the communication was cut as the hologram disappeared and Ozaki put the little machine back in his pocket-

*Wrap!*

Only to quickly find himself bounded by a multitude of arms wrapping themselves around his arms, legs and neck once more. Able to shift his eyes over, Ozaki could see Robin looking for the first time very terrified as it seemed as though she was intent in killing him right now.

"HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT MY RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WORLD GOVERNMENT?!" Robin asked in a terrified tone.

Ozaki as before wasn't worried and explained, "I'm sorry, but that's information I can't tell you."

Her face quickly turning from fear into rage, Robin's hands turned into fists as all the arms sprouted on him began to squeeze tightly, "GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON THEN AS TO WHY I SHOULD BE TRUSTING YOU?!"

Now THAT'S when slight worry began to show as Ozaki...was worried about whether or not if he should tell her. It could risk jeopardizing the mission and make Nico Robin see them as enemies, but...perhaps it could also help in bringing her to their side?

Seconds past for what felt like forever...but sometimes you had to take huge risks and Ozaki...took that risk, "Your mother, Nico Olivia used to be a part of our organization."

Unfortunately, his risk didn't pay off well as the arms squeezing him only got tighter, "LIAR! IF I KNEW MY MOTHER WAS A PART OF YOUR PEOPLE, I WOULD HAVE KNOWN!"

Slight discomfort began to show on Ozaki as Robin continued on, "IF YOU REALLY ARE TELLING THE TRUTH, THEN TELL ME SOMETHING ONLY MY MOTHER-"

"SHE GAVE YOU A NECKLACE WITH A CROSS SYMBOL ON IT!"

.

.

.

.

*Un-Wrap!*

A slight sigh of relief escaped Ozaki as he looked to see Robin now in total shock at the sudden information.

"How...do you..." Robin trailed off.

For the first time, genuine sadness showed as he walked up to her slowly, "The necklace she gave you...it was the last thing I remember of her before she...left us, long ago."

Calmly, Robin reached into her dress and sure enough, a necklace with a cross symbol on it could be seen...a memento given to her by her mother before she had left her as a kid.

Ozaki could see her body shaking as tears slowly formed in her eyes, "M-Mom..."

Sighing and closing his eyes, he brought himself down to her level, gently placing a hand on her shoulder which caught her attention as Ozaki looked into her own eyes.

"Listen...I know what's like to lose someone close to you...especially against that monster, Godzilla...," Ozaki told her, "Your mother...she was an amazing person, one of the only people we had who were able to cheer us up even in the darkest of times."

He brought his other hand to up to her other shoulder and continued on, "This is a lot to ask, especially from someone as you...but we need your help. Your knowledge of the Poneglpyh's...if you can help us to understand their ancient language and learning the secrets about Godzilla...all the lives he had taken...your mother...my friends...we'll be able to avenge them all."

Robin quietly listened to his words as he stood straight again, but also brought a hand forth, "To do so, I need your confirmation that you would be willing to aid us...so, may I ask once more...will you be willing to help us?"

Thinking for a moment...she didn't know how to answer. Sure, those who knew about her necklace were normally good friends with her mother...but even then, a few occasions did they try to turn her in into the World Government.

At the same time, she knew any sort of knowledge to take down Godzilla...it was an opportunity no one would ever ignore. If it meant avenging her mother then she'd take it, but...there was still so much going on with her right now where she couldn't make a decision.

"I...I don't know...it's so much information being given to me...I'd need to talk about this with the others," Robin told Ozaki.

Wait...others? Oh no...

At the mention of others, Robin's eyes immediately widened in fear at the realization! She had forgotten about Luffy and the crew!

Without hesitation, Robin quickly headed for the door, but Ozaki got in his way, "Wait! Where are you going?"

"The crew I'm with! They're still out there while Godzilla is still rampaging about!" Robin explained, "I have to go back to them and help them out!"

She tried to go around Ozaki, but again he stood in her way, "In the condition you're in, you'll be in the same predicament as I had first found you!"

Robin gritted her teeth, she knew that to be the case, but she still didn't want the others to get hurt or worse, killed, "I can't just leave them out there! I HAVE to go help them!"

Ozaki wanted to protest...but he saw the fire in her eyes, the burning will to helping those close to her...reminded him too much of himself. He knew what he had to do.

Sighing, he looked Robin in the eyes again, "You're in no condition to help them...which is why I'll go out and help them for you."

Hearing that, she looked up to him and now for the first time looked genuinely relieved, "You will?! Thank you! Please, make sure nothing happens to them!"

Nodding, Ozaki opened the door as he took one last look at her, "I will. For now, I'd advise you try to get some rest while I'm gone."

Nodding back to him, Robin watched Ozaki leave through the door and now her being the only one in the room now. Turning around, she went to the windows that let her look outside and opened the blinds to see what was going on outside.

What met her...was a sight which always shook her to the core of her mind...

Water Seven...what was once a beautiful city built above the sea...was now a burning inferno that belonged in hell...Godzilla in the midst of it all.

*SKEEEEEEEEOOOOOONGK!*

The roar of Godzilla echoed throughout the city, making Robin tense up as both it and the destroyed city made a vision come before her which she'd never forget.

A young Robin, a small child, stood in the midst of her home Ohara...now having become an inferno and all she saw was destruction and the corpses of the Ohara people before her.

Tears streaming in front of her eyes and fear taking over her mind, Robin could do nothing, but stare as the roars of Godzilla echoed far away on the island. She had been brought out of it when the voice of her mother called out to her, before feeling something heavy slam behind her and darkness took over.

Robin felt tears forming once more as the vision came back to her, instinctively pulling out the necklace her mother had given her. She missed her...so much.

I wish I knew what had happened to you mom...I want you back with me..., Robin sadly thought to herself.

*RUMBLE!*

Robin felt the ground shake again, causing her to look forward and saw something completely out of nowhere!

The hand of a giant having seemed to appear out of air had just slammed itself right into Godzilla's face as if something was trying to fight him! However, she noticed the giant arm was connected to something and tried to make out who or what it was...only to recognize that the thing...was wearing a red vest...and a Straw Hat dangled from its back.

"LUFFY?!" Robin yelled out in shock.

-Earlier (With the Straw Hats)

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT!?" Usopp yelled out in disbelief, "YOU MAKE IT SOUND LIKE LUFFY IS GONNA FIGHT THAT THING!"

Sanji looked rather annoyed by that answer and just replied back, "You should know how crazy that idiot can be! Did you forget that he punched a whale with his fist with no hesitation?"

"THAT WAS A WHALE! THAT THING CAN SPIT OUT FIRE FROM IT'S MOUTH!" Usopp replied back in an angry tone.

Zoro stepped in as he landed back on the ground after slicing another chunk of debris, "Fire from its mouth or not, you should appreciate it that he's making sure we have time to get the hell out of this city!"

Meanwhile, Nami, while not as shocked compared to Usopp was more so worried about Luffy's safety, "Y-You think he'll be a-alright? T-That monster...I don't think we'd be able to do anything against it."

"Nami's right," Chopper added in, "I know Luffy is strong, but could he really stand up against that monster?"

Sanji stayed silent at that as...part of him wanted to make him think Luffy would be fine...but he knew the reality of the situation, "I'd like to say he'd be fine...but after that encounter with that Admiral before coming here...and the destruction that monster is causing...we can only pray that idiot captain doesn't get himself killed for us."

His words made everyone stay silent...they hadn't forgotten their encounter with the Navy Admiral back at Long Ring Island and how easily he had defeated Luffy, Zoro and Sanji at once.

Nami was especially worried since she remembered Sanji back then explaining that Luffy had held the Admiral back for he and Zoro to get back, only for them find their captain completely covered in ice like Robin had been during that time.

And that led to the next topic to be questioned, "W-What about Robin? What are w-we going to do about her?"

Sanji stayed silent as Chopper perked up at the mention of her name, "Nami's right! We can't just forget about Robin since she's still out there!"

Zoro looked at Sanji as did Usopp, noticing how silent Sanji looked about the question involving Robin...they could tell he was clearly worried for her as well...but their current condition made it near impossible to do since if they tried searching for her, that would risk Nami's safety as she probably had a broken leg.

"I...I think the only thing we can do for now is pray Robin is far away from that thing until then," Sanji told everyone.

Everyone stayed silent at the decision he had come to...it was clear as day that not one of them wanted to leave Robin alone out there, but-

"LOOK OUT!" Zoro suddenly yelled out.

Everyone stopped in their tracks as a giant chunk of debris from one of the buildings landed right where they would've been running through if not for Zoro's voice. A large cloud of dust surrounded them, blinding their vision as unfortunately for them, the path that would've guaranteed the way back to the Merry Go was now blocked.

As the dust settled and they all could look, Usopp cried out in worry, "Damn it, another path blocked!"

Zoro shook his head and pulled out one of his swords, "Don't worry. I'll cut it down so we can..."

His voice trailed off as his vision along with the others noticed a shadow appearing on top of them and seeing it get bigger...and bigger!

Everyone looked up and to their horror, another more massive chunk of debris was falling right down on top of them and what made this one worse was that it gigantic! Maybe a small piece of a giant building!

"AAAAAAAAHHHHH! IT'S GONNA CRUSH US!" Usopp yelled in fear.

Chopper and Nami looked on in horror, while Zoro and Sanji gritted their teeth in disbelieve at the sight.

I could cut that giant piece coming down our way, but then we'd be dealing with more chunks falling down, Zoro thought to himself.

As if reading his thoughts, Sanji turned to him, "Can you cut that bastard down?!"

"Yeah, but I'm going to need your help to break the smaller chunks that come," Zoro replied, "Think you can do it shitty cook?!"

"Just watch Marimo!" Sanji quickly replied back.

With those questions exchanged, the two were ready to protect their friends, crouching down so that they could jump-

"Rankyaku!"

Till the voice of a male man was heard and what looked to be multiple compressed blades of wind sent hurdling into the giant debris and to the shock of everyone, what was once a giant debris was literally sliced up into small chunks! Then what looked like a blur that not even Zoro or Sanji could see, something went to each chunk and destroyed each and every one in mere seconds!

S-So fast!, Sanji thought to himself in shock.

Zoro was completely speechless as the speed and power just witnessed was seen only once and...that was back during his encounter against Mihawk back in the East Blue. It was clear that this guy was no joke.

Dust once again slowly settled around them as they heard the sounds of feet landing in front of them as when it cleared, they saw a man covered in silver armor and a black tight suit standing before them.

His back was turned to them and immediately it sent Usopp, Chopper and Nami into fear mode, while Zoro and Sanji got into stances, preparing themselves for a fight that was sure to come against this man.

"W-W-WHOEVER YOU ARE, D-DON'T EVEN TRY ATTACKING US!" Usopp told the man in false bravery, "O-OR ELSE OUR ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ARMY OF MEN WILL T-TAKE YOU DOWN!"

Chopper was in utter silence, while Nami looked very fearful at the new arrival and the power he displayed. Zoro and Sanji meanwhile, never broke their stance or eye contact since one mistake could lead to their lives being taken in an instant if this person attacked them.

The man slowly turned around, revealing to be Ozaki who had finally found the group as even though he never asked who Robin's friends were, they had plenty of sources to know exactly who they were. I mean, their captain had defeated one of the Seven Warlords, so it wasn't hard to find out who they were and where they are.

Hearing Usopp's warning, though, Ozaki played along with it and smirked, "Only a hundred thousand? You'd need a million soldiers if you plan to take me down."

To his slight humor, Usopp turned completely white as not only did his bluff not work, but if he calmly replied back with something like that...it was as if he confirmed their deaths were about come.

Sanji, however, took the initiative and stood in front of his friends, Zoro right behind him, "Just who the hell are you and what the hell do you want with us?"

Letting his smirk drop and getting back to business, Ozaki proceeded to explain, "I apologize for the sudden arrival and scare, but I've come here under the request of Nico Robin to bring you all to safety."

Immediately, Usopp, Chopper and Nami shouted at the same time at the news being told to them, "Robin sent you?!"

Chopper ran up to Ozaki as worry was clearly evident on his face, "Is she OK?! She's not hurt or anything?!"

He was quick to reassure the giant furball, nodding at his question, "Unfortunately, she did get slightly hurt, but overall, she's fine. She's currently at my hideout where's she resting and far away from any chaos occurring with Godzilla."

"Godzilla?" Usopp asked confused.

Ozaki looked to him, before walking past Chopper and the group to lead the way, "I'll explain later. For now, it's best we get out of his range of chaos and get you all somewhere safe till then."

His eyes did drift to Nami and was quick to notice her very injured leg, "And get her some treatment for that leg. It won't be long till her leg could get infected if not treated soon."

Chopper gasped in surprise as that was the exact same conclusion he had come to as well! Was this guy a doctor too?!

Before they could go on, Sanji once again stepped in front of him, "Why the hell should we believe you? You expect us to believe some random guy that shows up using some crazy abilities like you did now?"

Ozaki stayed silent, before slowly turning to him, "Believe me or don't believe me, you decide on whether or not you want to stay here and get caught in Godzilla's rampage."

Sanji gritted his teeth, but one look to Nami and he knew that there was no other choice.

Looking Ozaki dead in the eyes, Sanji was sure to tell him something important, "Alright...we'll follow you back. But if you lied about Robin-chan being with you or you lead us into a trap...I'll be sure to take you down with my two feet."

To his surprise, the man simply smirked at the threat, "I'd like to see you try."

Before Sanji could say anything, Ozaki was already on the move, leading everyone to his safehouse, "This way! Follow my lead!"

Without hesitation, Usopp and Chopper followed close behind, Sanji and Zoro staying behind for a moment as the green haired swordsman walked up to him.

"That asshole...I'll be sure to beat his ass if he tries anything funny," Sanji muttered to himself.

Zoro, for once not trying to start a fight did mention something, "That guy said he came here under Robin's request...you think he might've been the reason she was gone in the first place?"

Looking to his rival, Sanji shook his head, "I don't know Marimo...for now, we're just gonna-"

*BAM!*

The ground shook violently as what sounded like a massive shockwave echoed throughout the city, making the two lose their footing and falling down to the ground!

Clearly shocked by the sudden shaking, Sanji quickly got up and looked around, "What the hell was that?!"

Zoro quickly getting back up, he looked around their area as well till his eyes set at where Godzilla was and noticed what looked like a giant hand floating in the air making impact with its face.

"Over there!" Zoro pointed out.

Sanji turned to where he was talking about to see the same exact thing as well, but they both soon noticed as the hand seemed to shrink, they noticed who's hand it had belonged to and it was...

"Luffy!?" Both Zoro and Sanji yelled in shock.

-Earlier (With Luffy)

After leaving the others to go search for Robin, Luffy had set his sights immediately on Godzilla, using bits of the destroyed buildings to swing over to his area. His eyes still had that intense look, never having broken his sight of Godzilla as he unleashed another barrage of his Atomic Breath.

Getting close enough, Luffy landed on a small building with a few bits of debris laid beside him as he felt the monster's feet stomping about and shaking the ground beneath him. The mere sight of Godzilla not only made him feel slightly worried, but there was a deep hate within that no one had ever seen before.

"Godzilla...you're gonna pay for what you did to me back then when I was a kid," Luffy told himself, venom clear in his tone.

A vision flashed in his eyes as the picture of a torn black top hat on the ground in the midst of a fiery town appeared, making the rubber captain gripping his hands into fists, that blood slightly leaked from the cracks of his fingers.

It was time to take Godzilla down, here and NOW.

Looking over to a large chunk of debris, Luffy quickly wrapped his arms around it and gritted his teeth, stomping his feet into the stone beneath him before he began to spin into a circle. It kept getting faster and faster, so fast it was to the point that his body began to look like a spring!

But once he stopped, Luffy spun the opposite way at intense speeds, before launching the large chunk of debris at Godzilla, heading straight for his head! It was made all the better that he didn't notice it coming his way, before-

*SLAM!*

Impacting right on target, making Godzilla tumble and even crashed his head into a nearby building!

Watching him regain himself, Luffy stood tall and defiantly as Godzilla soon turned to his direction, fury clearly evident in his eyes as they looked right into his own.

Godzilla wasn't just mad...HE WAS PISSED.

Not deterred, Luffy yelled out at the giant monster with no fear, "HEY, YOU STUPID REPTILE! WHY DON'T YOU FIGHT ME INSTEAD?!"

*SKEEEEEEEEEEOOOOONGK!*

Godzilla only roared in rage, before his Dorsal Spines lit up and another barrage of his Atomic Breath went hurdling his way!

Able to see the attack coming his way, Luffy stretched his arm to another building and swung away, while his other arm wrapped around another piece of debris to keep with him as he narrowly dodged the giant beam of atomic energy.

Swinging around the building he grabbed on to, Luffy yelled out defiantly as after circling around it, launched his arm forward and another chunk of debris was sent hurdling towards Godzilla.

Unlike before however, the King of Monsters simply ducked underneath the launched debris, retaliating back by grabbing a small building underneath him, watching as some people fell from it, before raising it above his head and threw it right at Luffy!

The captain's eyes widened in shock, but he was able to stretch himself forward quickly, narrowly dodging the building as it flew past him! His eyes never leaving Godzilla, he knew he was gonna have to get close enough to do more attacks instead of just ranged ones.

Grabbing another part of a building, Luffy spun around the back it, before his other hand grabbed another and with the momentum of his stretched arms-

"Gum-Gum Rocket!" Luffy yelled out.

Rocketed straight for Godzilla, aiming for his neck!

But little did Luffy know...he was not as stupid nor slow as people were led to believe.

Before Luffy had a chance to react, Godzilla brought a claw up and slammed it right into the rubber captain! Launching him down to the ground and crashing into multiple buildings!

He yelled out in pain, each impact hurting him more and more, before finally coming to a halt as he laid there on his back. His vision was slightly blurry as he regained himself, but his eyes quickly widened in shock as he saw Godzilla's foot towering above him, preparing to stomp right onto him!

Quickly, Luffy stretched his arm and flew right out of there, narrowly missing Godzilla's foot stomping on top of him. Sure, he wouldn't have died from that, but it would've hurt like HELL.

But as he swung into the sky once more, his attire now slightly battered and dusty, Luffy gritted his teeth as Godzilla continued looking at where he was going.

Damn it! Is he able to track my movements without any trouble?! He can't be that strong! Luffy thought to himself.

Landing on top of a building and panting slightly, Luffy stared at Godzilla as he stared right back at him, the rage still very evident on his face. This was without a doubt one of his toughest fights yet and he was making sure he would NOT lose this one if only to be able and make it back to his friends.

*Explosions!*

To Luffy's surprise, a multitude of explosions made impact with Godzilla, the echoing sounds of cannons being heard through his ears from far away.

He looked to see that there were still a few active turrets working and that hadn't been destroyed from Godzilla's previous attack. Lucky for Luffy, it took his attention off of him!

This was the perfect opportunity to attack him head on without him realizing it!

Looking down to his hand, Luffy knew just the trick to take him down and get some damage in. It was something he had thought of ever since his loss to that Navy Admiral while protecting Robin.

First, it was Crocodile who had him worried the journey would be a lot tougher, but that Admiral made him realize that if he was planning to protect his friends...he needed to get stronger. Meaning it was finally time to unveil one of his new techniques.

Alright, Godzilla...let's see how you like this, Luffy thought to himself.

Bringing his thumb up to his mouth, he proceeded to bite down onto it, "Gear...Third!"

Then using his mouth, Luffy began to blow air into his hand and to the utter disbelief of anyone who was somehow watching, his regular sized hand began to grow into the size of a giant! Literally dwarfing some of the smaller buildings and even being the size of Godzilla's foot!

Once it grew large enough, he let go of his thumb as his left hand was now a giant and that only meant one thing...it was time to launch his attack!

Somehow able to launch himself into the air with the giant fist behind him, Luffy rocketed for Godzilla as his giant hand was ready to make impact and hopefully do some major damage.

Not noticing in time as he just shook his head from the impact, Godzilla turned his head back to where that human was-

"Gum-Gum Giant Pistol!"

*BAM!*

Only to be met with a massive fist that made impact into his face, for the first time in a long time actually feeling damage done to him as his body was sent into a building, both a massive shockwave following suit and falling down on top of the building and to the ground!

Grinning, Luffy eventually had to let go of the air in his hand and in a...comical manner went flying around like a balloon before slowly floating down onto a building near where Godzilla made impact.

He stood back up as...well...the aftereffects of using Gear Third...made Luffy very tiny.

It only added to the humor of the scene as Luffy yelled out to Godzilla, his voice now having a squeaky tone to it, "How'd you like that Godzilla?! That must've hurt you, didn't it?!"

Eventually though, he grew back to regular size as he watched the dust slowly clear after the impact of his attack...

*SKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONGK!*

But without warning, a massive and powerful roar came forth from the dust, clearing it immediately and actually strong enough to make Luffy go flying away! Yelping in shock, he was able to grab onto a building and hung on tightly, before quickly getting back onto his feet!

Knowing the battle wasn't done, Luffy looked back to Godzilla's direction...only for fear to grow quickly within as he stood there with an unbridled fury...his attack having done little to nothing.

Godzilla had it with this small human, not only doing some damage to him, but forcing him to actually fight! HE HAD ENOUGH.

He was done playing around with this mere human. Godzilla was going to show exactly why the people should always fear him and how he had gained the title as the King of Monsters.

And Luffy would be his main target.
