Marisa Kirisame was out doing her thing in the Forest of magic, which was gathering ingredients for her potions that she would use. She returned to her house and saw a newspaper.

"Sweet! Combustibles for the fire! I can save up on wood!" Marisa shouted as she looked excited, but then saw what was on the first page. "Strange sightings? Eh. Might as well have a look before I burn it."

Speaking of combustible. It talked about a girl who can explode.

"She can blow herself up? So she must be ashes, by now," Marisa said. But the newspaper also talks about the fact that the exploding girl would just come back

"Wait. Is Aya just talking about Mokou?" Marisa asked. "I mean that would make so much sense."

She turned the page and saw it wasn't Mokou, it was a girl called Scorched Girl.

"That's not Mokou," Marisa said she was very confused. It seemed that Mokou was fighting her. In a duel to the death. The next picture was a massive fireball. "Well, this is interesting…"

But on a closer look, it was TWO massive fireballs. No guess as to what happened during the fight. Marisa decided to see what else is there in the newspaper.

She read it for several minutes and saw Abnormalities like Big and Will be Bad Wolf and Nothing There.

"Whoa," Marisa said as she was surprised by the abnormalities showing up in the news. They were causing a lot of trouble everywhere. "That's a new incident!"

The kleptomaniac witch was surprised.

"Someone's gotta stop this!" Marisa shouted. "And it's going to be me!"

She got ready to leave.

-Eientei-

Reisen was meeting Eirin who was talking about the Abnormalities that showed up. The Moon Sage was talking with Tewi and Kaguya who came here to talk about the Abnormalities as well.

"Master?" Reisen said.

"There are these beings that have begun to show up in Gensokyo. They are hostile and keep coming back despite being killed," Eirin said.

"This is bad, isn't it?" Reisen said.

"Yes, it is. If nothing is done, Gensokyo will be destroyed in an apocalyptic rampage," Eirin said.

"What should we do?" Reisen asked as she was worried, and asked Eirin what she should do about this troubling revelation.

"We deal with them as always. However, we need a way to seal them…" Eirin said.

"And knowing you, you already found the means, right?" Tewi said.

"Yes I did," Eirin said.

"Well, tell us," Kaguya said.

"I plan to see if I can seal them up so they won't be dangerous anymore," Eirin said. "With this."

She pulled out a device.

"A book?" Tewi said.

"It looks like it, yes," Eirin said. "This will help us with dealing with the Abnormalities, as they are called."

"So we'll trap them in book-shaped devices?" Reisen said.

"You can say that," Eirin said.

Reisen took the "book". As she needed it for what is to come. She also realized that there was a bag that held other "books" in it.

"But the books need to be custom made for each of these Abnormalities," Eirin said.

"Wait. You know what they are?" Reisen said.

"Well duh. She's the Brain of the Moon," Tewi said as she deadpanned at the girl.

"She even knows what is the question to Life, the Universe, and Everything," Kaguya said.

"But does she know the answer?" Reisen said.

"The answer is 42. Everyone knows that," Kaguya said.

"Oh...right…" Reisen said as she looked like an idiot for realizing what it meant.

Tewi laughed at her. Reisen was embarrassed.

-Moriya Shrine-

Sanae Kochiya was dealing with All-Around Helper, who was trying to "clean" the place. Before arriving, All Around Helper killed a lot of fairies and now is here to "clean" the place.

Sanae was dealing with it.

"Stop right there!" Sanae shouted. She was trying to defeat the abnormality.

BGM: Abnormality_First Warning(LOR ver.)

All-Around began to spin around and tried to turn Sanae into slices of human flesh. Sanae just avoided the attack and began to fire frog-shaped danmaku at the abnormality, which was hit by the attack. It took damage from it but couldn't do anything as it was in a ten-second recharge phase, meaning it has to charge up again to do anything.

All-Around Helper began to spin trying to catch Sanae once again but she just flew above it and behind it as it once again went into the recharge phase.

"Prayer: Charm of Good Commerce!" Sanae shouted as she threw a large number of charms at the abnormality. It was hit by the projectiles as it took a lot of damage. It was so damaged that one of its blades broke off at the tip. After doing her lethal spell card she fired more frog-shaped danmaku at the abnormality which further damaged it.

All-Around Helper then began to spin after recharging in an attempt to try to kill Sanae but she just dashed above it once again and fired more danmaku at it. It went into the recharge phase as it was further damaged by her projectiles. After recharging and suffering more damage after recharging the Abnormality tried to charge one last time.

"Time to finish you! Esoterica: Gray Thaumaturgy!" Sanae shouted as she launched the shape of a star and attacked the enemy with light which ended up finally destroying the abnormality as it lay in pieces now.

BGM End.

"And stay down!" Sanae shouted. "Okay?!"

"Great job, Sanae!" Suwako Moriya said at seeing Sanae's success. She was clapping.

"Now onto the rest," Kanako Yasaka said.

"Yep…" Suwako said.

Sanae was ready for what is to come.

-Hakurei shrine-

Cirno was back at the Hakurei Shrine after she came back from being eaten by Punishing Bird. The ice fairy was upset about having been eaten. She told her friends about the situation that happened.

"A BIRD ate you?!" Wriggle Nightbug shouted.

"Yes, that's what happened!" Cirno said.

"How big was it?" Mystia asked.

"As big as a bird! You know like the regular ones!" Cirno said.

"How did it eat you, then?" Rumia asked.

"It had red-looking thingies that came out and ate me!" Cirno shouted.

"That sounds scary…" Dai said.

"That sounds funny!" Rumia shouted.

"Very funny!" Eternity said. Mystia & Rumia were giggling.

Cirno was annoyed at this.

"Stop laughing!" The Ice Fairy shouted in anger. "It's not funny at all! Not for me! It sucked so bad! Like how was I supposed to know that bird can do that?!"

"Exactly! It's funny for us!" Clownpiece said. She looked amused.

"Now is not the time. We need to do something about this," Daiyousei said, referring to the hostile Abnormalities showing up and killing fairies.

"That's what I was saying!" Cirno shouted.

'No you weren't...' Wriggle thought.

"We have to deal with that bird!" Cirno shouted.

" Can I eat the bird?" Rumia said as she grinned showing her sharp teeth.

"You can try…" Wriggle said.

"Watch me!" Cirno shouted as they left.

Sakuya Izayoi was at the SDM with Remilia Scarlet, serving tea for the vampire.

Remilia had heard that another vampire was on the loose, and was biting and drinking everything in sight. She knew it wasn't her or her Flandre Scarlet. As her sister was actually in the basement and didn't leave all week, and just stayed cooped up in there, as always.

"We may have another Vampire Incident in our hands," Remilia said.

"Does this mean I have to use my knives mistress?" Sakuya asked.

"Yes. Have fun!" Remilia shouted as Sakuya left.

Youmu was tending to the garden of Hakugyokurou. When Yuyuko arrived.

"Hi, Youmu!" Yuyuko shouted.

"Hello, Lady Yuyuko," Youmu said.

"I need you to do something in the world of the living," Yuyuko said.

"What might that be milady?" Youmu asked.

"There are these monsters that keep showing up throughout Gensokyo," Yuyuko said.

"Monsters? And they're not just youkais, right?" Youmu said.

"No they are not," Yuyuko said.

"And they're problematic, right?" Youmu said.

"Yes. The ministry says these abnormalities are an actual abnormality to the natural order," Yuyuko said. "They are called Abnormalities."

"I see. I shall deal with them at once," Youmu said. "Any advice on how to deal with them?"

"Oh just defeat them, they can be taken out like everything else," Yuyuko said. "But to try to meet with your fellow pale-haired servants. Just to cover more grounds."

"Alright," Youmu said as she left.

"See, it is just as we wanted, Yukari," Yuyuko said.
