Heya, here's an update. Yes I know it been a good minute but in my defense the document manager wasn't working for a good bit. Anyways enjoy! Quick heads up, I do not own fairy tail, jsut the plot and our dear sweet Briggan. And for some dumb reason spaces aren't working for me so pay no mind to the dots ;w;

Igneel cursed as he heard another pained whimper from the small dragon. Oh how he hated hearing Natsu's pain, it made his heart clench and his head throb as it basically was at war with its self. One side screeching not to let a single fucking soul near the boy while the other pleaded for reason, wanting to make sure Natsu was okay and if this was reversible. He growled quietly as he continued to pace, his large claws gripping at the stone underneath while his tail snakes around angrily. "Igneel calm yourself before you go on a rampage, your pacing is making it hard for me to concentrate" the soft voice of another spoke up, oh that's right, Grandeenye was here. That alone calmed his mind..kinda...not really. The female dragon has been healing the poor boy-turned-dragon, healing the broken bones and ripped tissue. "Thats Odd.." mumbled the sky dragon, igneel snapped his head towards her "something wrong?" Grandeenye nodded before casting a few spells while explaining what she felt "it's off how Natsu is only 6 years old and he's the half the size of you, A many millennia old dragon, not only that but I sense his magic is going mad, much like.." Grandeenye took on a face of horror as she quickly got back to casting spell after spell. "What is it Grandeenye?" The fire king asked now worried, even worse, scared. Suddenly a bright fire covers the unconscious dragon, it getting brighter and brighter until they had to look away, igneel was about to be rid of the fire, fearing the worst however the flame got smaller and smaller until it was the size of a large dog, the fire faded away and showed a much smaller dragon. The gash now has shrunk down to a scar that snaked from the chest to the lower stomach. Small wings flopped open as small slow breaths could be heard "now I understand. That sad excuse of a dragon is foolish for attempting something so dangerous ." Grandeenye hissed, softly moving the now very tiny dragon closer to her feathers. Giving warmth and comfort as the hatchling relaxed and softly snored.

Igneel was speechless, he looked at the small fire dragon with awe, confusion and anger. "What?" Igneel growled at himself for that. Why the hell isn't his brain working correctly recently?? Grandeenye, sensing his trouble decided to give him an explanation "when I was healing him, his magic was fighting me. It made it hard to heal as it burned and weakened the spells I used. It also confused me how he was the size of a few hundred old dragon, so I did some searching and found out why his magic and body was the way they were"

Igneel, not trusting himself to speak nodded for the sky dragon to continue, she sighed as her expression took on that of a sad one "it seems natsu saved you from Briggan in more ways then one. Either Briggan wanted more fight out of him Or you but natsu was hit with the spell Dragon Rage" Igneels expression immediately went to a dark one, Dragon rage was a spell even dragons were wary of. It's potential and strength was dangerous in more ways then one. The spell itself works as a boaster, but not like the support spells as this has a price. The longer one uses the spell the more the spell takes. It will give you strength in more ways then one, it can make your magic more potent, powerful, or it can give your physical body a bost. But it can be at a cost, the price ranges from user to user, some being sight, hearing, touch, taste, it can also take your magic away little by little until you have magic deficiency syndrome, it can also take from the very mind, your sanity slowly fading away. That is what makes it so dangerous. "Do you know what his price was?" Grandeenye nodded "it could be, his humanity or something else entirely." She said sadly as she looked down at the boy, he was softly curled to her side. Igneel sighed heavily. "At least it's not life threatening." Igneel then got up and went or the entrance of the cave they were in "I'm going for a walk, are you alright with watching him?" Grandeenye nodded and voiced that she will watch the young dragon, for she didn't have the heart to move or wake him and with that igneel walked out of the cave leaving the sky and young fire dragons alon

With our dear natsu..

Cold. All he felt was the cold chill around him. A must hovered around the black inky abyss he found himself in. Why was it cold? Why was he cold? Suddenly a loud roar rang through the quiet place, natsu winced ad he quickly covers his ears in a attempt to shield them. The roar ended and Betsy uncovered his ears and looked behind in slowly, his eyes widened in fear of what he say. A dragon, made nothing but fire as white ferocious eyes looked at him with a snarl (think atlas flame but without the skeleton parts) Natsu gasped and took a quick step back and got to a defensive stance "who are you?" As the fire of the beast licked the abyss around it, bringing blistering uncomfortable heat to natsu. It's unkind soulless eyes narrowed as it opened what natsu figured was it's maw and it spoke

It's broken voice, glitching and cutting from a soft weak voice to a angry and loud. The beast of fire charged forward with a roar, natsu quickly jumped out of the way, he glared at the beast while thinking on what to do.
