chapter 7 Lois Lane finds out
Clark was at the Daily planet and saw Lois who was busy doing something. He had put off a few dates with her because of Superman things and now things were becoming harder to keep up with between them.
"Clark is there something you are not telling me?" Lois asked.
Clark didn't know what to do and he got an alert from the tower. "Got to go Lois," Clark said.
He made to the tower as Superman. "Hey Sups get caught up with Lois?" Flash asked.
"Yes and she thinks I am hiding something from her," Superman said. "I have worked with her for some time at the daily planet and she has no idea that I am Superman, and because of being Superman and the justice league a few of our dates had been blown off and she is not happy about it," he said.
"Go figure, that would make any woman upset," Flash said.
"What would?" John asked coming in.
"Sups here had to flake on a few dates with his lady friends because of hero stuff and she is upset about it," Flash said.
"You are a blabbermouth," Superman said.
"Hey!" Flash said.
Then Superman walked off in a bad mood.
"What has got his cape in knot?" Hawkgirl said coming in.
"He is in a bad mood, he is making Batman look like ray sunshine," Wonder woman said.
"I heard that," Batman said coming up. "What's got him in such a bad mood?" he asked.
"Lois, he flaked on a few dates with her and she is upset with him and thinks he is hiding something," Flash said. "He probably thinks she believes he is dating another woman, but it is really his hero work that is causing the flaking." he said.
"I see," Batman said.
"No wonder he is in a bad mood," Hawkgirl said.
Superman was very irritated and was in such a mood. He loved Lois very much and didn't know if he should tell her his biggest secret. That himself Clark Kent was Superman. Lois cared about Clark and Superman very much and did know they were one in the same.
He was unsure what to do or say. He was so worried about what to do about this. He was worried about many things.
"Penny for you thoughts?" he heard.
It was Catwoman. "Oh hi Catwoman," Superman said.
"Batman told me what was going on after Flash told him," Catwoman said.
"That speedster should keep his mouth shut about others personal problems," Superman said.
"I know but he only told us because he was being a concern friend," Catwoman said. "So what are you thinking about?" she asked.
"I was wondering if I should tell Lois about me Clark Kent being Superman, she cares about both Clark and Superman. But being a reporter like her I am worried she may put my identity out to the press. I care about her as much as she cares about me," Superman said.
"Well Superman if she cares about you much as you say she does she would keep your secret locked tight and never tell because she cares too much to spill the beans and make life hard for you," Catwoman said.
"You think so?" Superman asked.
"Of course when I found out about Bruce Wayne was Batman I kept my mouth shut, and when he found out I was Catwoman he never told either we kept each other's secrets because we love each other and care enough to keep each others secrets," Catwoman said. "I think Lois will do the same." she said.
So Superman headed out a bit later a got dirty while rescuing Lois. "Come to my place you can use the shower there," Lois said.
"Thanks," Superman said and showered up and got dressed.
Lois sighed and looked at a book. Superman came out and saw her. "Hey there," Lois said.
"Lois I have something to tell you," Clark said.
"Really what do you have to tell me?" Lois asked.
"Lois you know why you have been flaked on by the last few dates with Clark Kent?" Superman asked.
"No and I am not sure why," Lois said. "And how did you know that?" she asked.
Superman put on his glasses and showed her. "Because I am Clark Kent," he said.
Lois looked at him. "I knew it," Lois said.
"All this time you knew why didn't you say anything?" Clark asked.
"Why didn't you say anything, I found it strange whenever you disappeared Superman appeared and when Superman disappeared you appeared and few other things I noticed too like you flaking during our dates I wasn't sure until I saw for myself and I am glad I found out it was really you and I promise your secret is safe with me," Lois said.
"Thanks Lois," Clark said.
Then they kissed. Lois now knew Clark Kent was Superman and was going to keep his secret safe with her for the rest of her life.
