Chapter 3: A choice in arms

(Magic academy)

A week passed after the duel between Sora and Guice, everyone who was there was still mind blown, Louise the zero did summon a very strong yet noble being. Louise however, was still up set about Sora fighting without even asking her as well as disobeying her to so for his punishment one weeks worth of laundry. Sora, who had his jacket and gauntlets off and was wearing his black tank top just sighed as he finished washing the pinkette's shirt

"So cold, so very cold, man I can't believe this. I didn't even started that fight and she's still is treating me like I'm in the wrong?" Sora continued washing as he did a grabbed one pair of Louise's panties and blush heavily, he then shook his head to get rid of any dirty idea. "Relax they're just clothes!"

As the keyblade's chosen one finished washing Louise outfits he pulled out his gummiphone and again tried to call someone from this world from the other day, but only got the same blacken screen with the words 'unavailable' on it. Their has to be something blocked communication from the outside of Halkeginia. Maybe it has something to do with this work maybe it was more closed off then the others he's visited if so this might not be easy. As he was putting his phone in his pocket he saw the students together with their familiars bonding.

Even though he and Louise talked over she still sees him like an animal that especially after he told her his secrets he thought that she would be on some common ground but no. Well despite the whole week of being in this world he's been doing something, secret training got to have something to do while he's here and as he was her he's been developing some new moves and a new ability that is sure to come in handy someday.

As he stood up and summoned his keyblade in hand he took a deep breath and got into a fighting stance "Okay here goes Havoc." Sora said as he jumped into the air and did a horizontal and two diagonal slashes opposite of each other before spinning with in a downward motion. "Spin Drift." This move had Sora dashing as he was swinging his keyblade in circular motion. Sora then stoped and took a short breath he was excited to see his moves were coming along nicely. But as he was preparing a new ability his train of thought was broken when he felt someone pulling on his ear.

"Seriously are you only good at fighting and sleeping, do you have to be useless at every else!" Louise said as she was tugging hard on Sora's ear.

"Ow, ow, ow, let go please!" Sora begged her to relinquish his ear as he was flailing his arms. "What was that for?!"

"What do you think?" She said with sarcasm in her voice "If your done go hang up my laundry and take me to class got it!"

Sora rub his ear out if irritation "You know the least you can do is say 'please', 'thank you', or 'welcome'." Sora said as a tick mark showed on her head as her teeth turned to fangs.

"You don't have to tell me what to say!" She yelled at Sora "Listen, I don't care if you are from another world as along as your here you are still my familiar!" Sora quickly covered her mouth with his hand as he put his finger to his lips hushing her.

"Shhh! Don't blurt it out, I mean what if someone was listening!" He scowled light. She forcefully pry his hand off of her face. "Remember I have to protect the order of the world!"

"No one else is here you idiot." She said throwing an insult at him "Just get my clothes put up and take me to class, or else." She threatened as Sora just had a dead expression on his face.

"Yes ma'am." He said in a dull tone of voice as she walked off leaving him to fold up her laundry. Meanwhile unknown to the two of them, they didn't notice Kirche and Tabitha who together was staring at the boy getting the clothes together lucky for him they didn't here a single word of that he and Louise were talking about but that wasn't why they were looking at him.

Every since the fight with Guiche their has been a raging fire within her, one that burns hotter just from the sight of him, he looked so spectacular when he was fighting plebeian or not she was lost in her own world is this what people call true love. Kirche decided that no matter what it takes he will be her's and her's alone.

Tabitha on the other hand had a look of curiosity actually she had been observing him for the past week. She wanted to know what how a plebeian like him could use magic or was he noble, given his attire he most likely looked to be a traveler, and what that key sword these were the questions she wanted answers.

(Mrs.Chevreuse classroom)

After Sora finished hanging up all of Louise clothes; together the master and familiar duo rush to class just neatly making it on time. Louise said to Sora that he should work faster instead of horsing around with his keyblade. The keyblade wielder replied back to her saying, that he was only doing a little practice. Since he was going to be in this world he might as well have something to do while he searches for a way home.

As class was about to start the students were all whispering about how Louise's summoned a so-called familiar. Too them they couldn't believe that she summoned

"Hey is that him?"

"Yeah, the one zero summon last week."

"You think he's actually a noble?"

"That would be strange, but he doesn't act like he's nobility."

"You know, getting a better look at him he's a real cutie."

"I know right. And his skill was a sword are beyond extraordinary." As the students continued their gossip. Their teacher Mrs. Chevreuse enter the classroom she had just came back after the incident with Louise's magic she was bedritten for a while as she was also slightly traumatize but know she has returned and started giving her students a lesson.

"Alright everyone, it's time to start today lesson." She said getting everyone's attention "Now as we get started, do you all remember what we talked about the elements?" She says her students raised their hands let her know they still remember her previous lesson "Good. Now everyone remember this, the elements of fire, water, wind, and earth can be merged together creating more unique effects. Not to mention that the level of a mages skill can combine these elements." said to everyone who was paying attention "Now, what levels are those for mages?" The teacher questioned as

"I can answer that." Montmorency stood up to answer. "The levels of combination are line, triangle, and square. line is for two elements, triangle is for three and square is for four." Montmorency said with a dignified look on her face.

"Correct." The teacher congratulate "I good example of that is when I turned those rocks into brass, so you see, my level is a triangle class." She explained herself to the class. Everyone was listening, well all but a certain young brown-haired teen who was trying to stay away, this worlds idea of it's own magic is interesting, but instead of thinking about it he was just sitting next to his 'master' all of this was making him bored; the second he started to yawn Louise gave a pinch to his arm and shot a look at him telling him to stay awake. He looked at her back as the teacher's continued her lesson "I now that most of you have at least one affinity with magic, but overtime as you grow-."

"Excuse me, sorry to interrupting you teach." Kirche said disrupting the lesson. "But I think your forgetting that their is someone who no zero ability with magic." Kirche said as she and the other students eyes were pointing directly at Louise who acted as if she wasn't bothered by it.

Sora could see all eyes on her and that word 'Zero'. It's almost like it has some kinda meaning towards it "Wait a minute. Does Louise...have problems with her powers?" Sora looked at Louise who was acting like she wasn't bothered.

(Sora Louise)

"Hey Louise, can I ask you something?" Sora asked as Louise turn around with a neutral expression. After class, Sora had to know what that was about, why was everyone starting at her and why does everyone call her zero.

"What is it?" The girl asked.

"What was all that about?" He said as the pink haired girl had a bitter look on her face.

"It's nothing okay." Louise said sourly.

Sora saw her face and could tell that it wasn't just nothing. Their was something going on "Well it doesn't seem like nothing to me. Come you can tell me."

Louise was getting annoyed at this "I said it doesn't concern you!" Doesn't he know to say out of a persons business but then again after reading about him he's the type to just meddle in any situation.

"It does concern me." He said to Louise who was getting even more agitated.

"No it doesn't!"

"It kinda does. Come on, what was that about in class? What did Kirche mean when she said 'you have zero ability with magic'? Not only that I heard someone call you Louise the Zero too, so that's gotta mean something." As Sora kept pushing his question on her, Louise was getting more annoyed.

"Your a familiar, got it!" She barked "You should know your place! Don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong." She said as she walked away leaving Sora in place.

The keyblade wielder sigh "Your right, but I still know more about you." She came to a stop "Listen were friends aren't we, if their is something bothering you, you can talk to me about anything. Besides Isn't a job as a familiar to know about his master, you already know all their is about me, don't you think it's fair I should learn something about you." She turned her head as he kept speaking "Whatever zero means I won't laugh or make fun of you but if it's something you really don't want to talk about, then I won't pressure you." He finished with a warm smile opon his face

Louise look soften up a little, she didn't expect someone to be concerned about her, Anytime she would her that word zero it just reminded her about her constant failures with magic. But he was more worried about her; even saying that he wouldn't make fun of her, she knew he is a nice person but she never expected someone to be this kind hearted. it's strange a piece of him reminded her of her older sister even the smile was the same. "It means...Well." The pink-haired was trying to explained. However her mental train of thought was broken when she heard and saw Kirche and Tabitha walking together and to them

"Well now zero, I can't believe that you haven't told you familiar anything about yourself, then again what is their to tell." The red head said obnoxiously as the girl with blue hair was silence and secretly watching Sora. The keyblade wielder felt her gaze but quickly turned away

Louise was just getting mad at the fiery red headed girl "What are you doing here?" She hissed as Kirche kept teasing.

"Oh nothing really." Kirche said callously "I just saw you two together, so I wanted in on your conversation. Right, darling." She cupped the brunette's chin looking directly into his clear blue sky-like eyes. Sora was confused why did she call him darling, and why did he felt a small chill running down his spine, the girl with red hair does seem nice but also something dangerous.

Louise intervene pushing her away from Sora "Listen to me Zerbst, stay out of my business this is between him and me, don't involve yourself!" She said as she began to pull Sora's arm dragging him along before facing him "And as for you no dinner."

"What, why!?" Sora said why was he getting punish for something for nothing. Meanwhile Kirche merely pouted letting he new love get taken away by her enemy again well it doesn't matter tonight she will give the brunette her affection. And as for Tabitha she could tell that their is still something about him, this mysterious air about him whatever it is, it must be connected to that key shaped sword.

(Louise's room)

As the day was coming to a close, the keybearer and the explosive mage returned to the room. Louise didn't say a single word as she just throw her clothes on the floor. Sora with twisted to the side and said to her to do that when he's not around, Louise replied back to him telling him to shut up and put her clothes on for her. The two began arguing: Sora telling her to put her own clothes on and Louise saying that a familiar should do their job and they won't be punished. Sora still refuses as Louise threatened him; telling him that he will sleep outside, the keyblade wielder told her that wouldn't be a punishment that he used to sleep outside all the time back on his Islands.

Louise grit her teeth soon saying that instead of sleeping outdoors he would go a whole month with no food. Their was no way she would do that but her eyes said 'try me' Sora only breath out air out of irritation and began putting on her clothes "Question: do you ever? I don't know dress yourself?" Sora said blushing as he finished dressing his master.

"No, nobility have servants, so of course we don't need to dress ourselves!" She said.

"Are you serious?" Sora replied not believing it, so she never dressed herself. "You have people dress you."

"You've met with royalty in the past, haven't you. Obviously they had servants trained for that stuff." Sora though about it for a second, but then again their was Rapunzel she may have been a princess but she grew up an ordinary girl so she knew how to put on her own clothes.

"I-I see. But can't you just put your own clothes on, I'm a guy you know, it makes me uncomfortable having too dress a girl." The keyblade wielder replied with a small blush and scratching his cheek.

Louise rubbed her temples "Fine. But if I order you to dress me, then do it, understand." Said Louise as Sora let out a breath of relief saying its a deal and with that Louise blew out the candle and the two went to sleep.

Sometime passed and Louise was still knock out, Sora woke up and saw it was still night, he quietly walk to the door trying not to disrupt her dream cycle. Sora open the door a silently shut it close as he did he began walking down the hallway, but unknown to him, a door was crack open as if somebody had wanted it open, the spiky haired teen just shrugged and walk away.

(Outside)

Sora made his way out to the field and saw that no one was around he began to summon his keyblade and placed himself into his usual stance and began his training. He started with a diagonal downward slash, following up with a dodge slash and ended it with triple rush, he then did a flash step and twisted his body to do a outward slash.

"Last charge", The keyblade wielder shouted as a pillar of light was came up from the ground he stop for a moment before continuing he jump in the air and started to work on aerial attacks. From his aerial sweep to a aerial dive Sora continued slashing his keyblade in the air as well as using one of his new move while airborne, "Lotus frenzy" He said while still in the air he did two vertical cuts before pushing himself back.

As the keyblade hero landed on the ground he whirled his the kingdom key in front of him he was envelop in a clear dome before breaking apart, his clothes were covered in light as it started to faded he outfit was now mostly black (Sora now in his second form). He was ready to start using some of his new moves.

"Licht." Sora shouted as he jabbed his keyblade forward as a burst of light exploded from the tip of weapon, he then was swinging his keyblade before he was unleashing his explosion where four orbs of light just spawned. "Phantom blade" Sora jumped backwards holding his keyblade with both hands on his right side, he then dash forward with a horizontal cut.

The keyblade wielder stop to take a minute to catch his breath, after a few puffs of air he wiped the sweat of his forehead and smiled in success all his late-night training is going well, even if he doesn't have a way home yet he was prepared for anymore enemies to ever show up no matter what. But then Sora's had a flashback from his fight with Guiche; he remembered how his body was light as air and how he was moving on it's own, as he slid back his left gauntlet and stared at his runes.

Just as he was wondering about them he soon felt someone's gaze at him he looked all over and found Tabitha. "Hey there Tabitha. What are you doing up? Sora had question why is she still up and what was she doing here? The blue haired girl didn't reply as she turned her unfazed look towards the key shape sword in his hand.

"Key?" The girl with glasses simply said as she was looking at the key shaped sword. Sora saw what she was looking at. She examined it closely, as the young girl looked at it, it seems like a child's toy but she could feel some kind of power from it and it was unlike anything she seen.

"What this it's a keyblade?" Sora said as she nodded, the way she was acting she would be mistaken to be a nobody...No that wasn't it, their was something else about her, something cold.

"Are you a noble?" Tabitha question but Sora shook his head telling her he wasn't. She the was about to asked if he was an elf but quickly dismissed the idea his ears weren't pointed. "Where are you from?" The blue haired girl question.

"Um, ju-just some islands far out at sea." Sora slightly stuttered, the girl caught his slight nervousness although he probably would most likely try to hide it. The bluenette started to walk away, "Hey Tabitha wait a minute." Sora said to the girl who stoped in her tracks.

"What is it?" Tabitha said as she turned around.

"Well... theirs this trick I've been wanting to try and I need your help with it, help me pretty please." Sora said putting his hands together hoping that she would say yes, the girl was standing still not showing any facial expressions but intrigued on what kind a technique he possessed.

"Alright." The young female said plainly but before they got started Sora transformed back into his second form.

"Ok I'm ready!" Sora said as he was now prepared, Tabitha began chanting and a large splinter of ice appear, the keyblade wielder was in a defensive stance, as the large ice shard came charging at Sora he quickly guard and with blinding speed rushed back and forth splitting the piece of ice in half before giving on last slash turning the javelin into dust.

"What did you do?" Tabitha said both with a voice of both awe and curiosity.

Sora was smiling when she said that, "It just a move I've been working on I'm calling it my Soulsplitter. So what'cha think, pretty awesome right." Sora replied with a grin. Tabitha face was expressionless but despite that she was amazed. The blue haired girl soon walked away leaving the keybearer confused, did he do something to offer her, no their is this air about it was cold and distance like she froze herself over. As soon as she left he felt someone behind him, touching his shoulder causing him to scream he turned and saw it was Siesta.

"Jeez, thanks for the heart attack!" Sora barked as he clutched his chest sighing out of relief.

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you Sora. What are you doing out here?" Siesta said wondering what was he doing out so late.

"Nothing really just- *Growl*." Sora was soon cut off when his stomach was rumbling. He blush in embarrassment while holding his stomach he giggled nervously and Siesta was laughing too seeing what was this about.

(Kitchen)

Siesta brought Sora to the kitchen where the staff had prepared something for him to eat the chief saw to it, but when Sora tried to kindly turn down their offer they said it was a problem at all. "Their all just some leftovers from this morning, but eat as much as you want our key." The chef said and laugh heartily.

"Thank a lot. This stuff taste so good, wait did you call me 'our key'?" Sora said as he took another bite.

"Yes." The cook said "You defeat that aristocrat boy in a duel with that key sword last week, and your a plebeian like all of us here. That's why your our key, your the pride of us all!"

"Come on, I just did what I had to do and besides, I don't like it when theirs someone playing around with the hearts of the people around him, I just hope that Montmorency can forgives Guiche." Sora rubbed the back of his head as he told the staff with truth and modesty, all liking his responses.

"Well would you look at that, a man who doesn't brag about his achievements and who honors others well being, now that's impressive." Everyone agreed with the head cook.

"You know, I use to help out at a bistro from time to time and I have to say this stuff is amazing." Sora complemented the food.

"Of course it's great, I, Marteau, take great pride in the culinary arts, making the most magnificent pallets. My cooking is it's own kind of magic." Marteau said as he wrapped his arm around Sora."You know what I like about you Sora, your different from those damn noble your a very respectable guy and humble too. Please allow me to kiss you our key."

"Wait? What!?" Sora was started by the cook Marteau sudden choice of words. He was closing in on him with his lips puckered Sora was had his hand on his face holding him back, "You know the nickname is alright, you don't have to kiss me at all really, okay." Sora said pushing the cook back liking his modesty even more, Sora just exhaled at what almost happened as for everyone else they all began talking about other topics and Siesta was just smiling at him.

(Outside)

After the late dinner Sora and Siesta where outside talking to each other and looking at the twin moons, "Thanks again for the meal it was delicious." Sora thanked her as he was sitting on the grass.

Siesta shook her head, "It was no trouble at all, but come by again sometime everyone here is a fan of your's." Sora was laughing nervously from that no sure what to do about it, He then thought of his friends as he started at the night sky wondering what everybody is doing right now.

"Wish I could call you guys." She whispered as he pulled out his phone. The dark haired maid caught eye of this funny looking device in his hand.

"What is this thing?" She asked curiously

"It's my gummiphone."

"Gummi? Phone?" Siesta said as Sora told her that it can be used to call other people, play games, it can even take photos. "Photos?" The raven haired girl repeated the word.

"Yeah." Sora stood up and held it in her direction. "Now smile!" He said as he took her picture and showed it to her. The maid was surprised, their was a second her but smaller.

"It's a little me! Is this a photo?" She replied in awe she has never seen anything like this Sora laugh slightly at this but then again, it's something completely new to her. Siesta turned her head and asked something of the keyblade wielder "Sora. Are you actually a noble?"

Sora answered her question "No Siesta. I'm not a noble, why would think that?"

"Because you have magic and only nobles can use magic, not to mention this phone thingy is something that no one's ever seen before. I mean you have to be a noble right?" She said still having nothing but disbelief

Sora remember what she said about how royals like Kirche and Guiche can use magic, he pondered for a sec, how he was going to give a good explanation without letting anything slip. "Uh, we-well my friends are actually the ones who made this. And about me using magic, well, let's just say I don't need to be a noble to do that. Besides I know people like me who can use magic and aren't nobles either."

Siesta couldn't believe what she was hearing, people who are not noble but can use magic, "Really!"

"Yeah. Where I'm from magic is something anyone can do actually." Sora said having his hand out and letting little lights dance from it, Siesta was mesmerized at what she was seeing something so beautiful happening right before her very eye's. Sora smiled at her when suddenly he said something to her, something she never expected to hear.

"...You want to learn?" He said causing her to be in shock.

"You-you want to teach me?!" She repeated as he nodded.

"Yeah it's no trouble." He simply said to the maid.

"Thank you!" Siesta accepted "How can I repay you?"

Sora waved it off "You don't have to do anything. We're friends so you don't have to do anything."

"But I don't want to take advantage, their has to be something?" Siesta said as Sora looked at her she is really kind. The chosen one thought about something when one thing came to his mind.

"Well... I'm from a place pretty far so, uh, the reading and write are different. So, can you teach me how to read and write the language here?" Sora asked

"Your not from Halkeginia?" Siesta replied as he shook his head telling her no. "Alright. You teach me how to do magic, and I'll teach you how to read, and write deal." Siesta agree with as Sora said back to her

"Deal." He smiled bright at her causing her heart to skip a beat "Alright then, see you tomorrow then, good night Siesta." Sora said as he was walking away. Siesta telling him good night as well, he really is a unique individual. But what got to her was thinking about how she's going to be spending time with Sora all alone, that got her face burning red making her shake her head making her discard any indecent thoughts.

(Hallway)

"Man that was the best meal I've ever eaten. Siesta is such a nice girl too." He said as he was walking up the stairs after always dealing with the arrogance of Louise being hanging out wit her was very comforting, but his mind went back to this morning. How Louise was getting agitated from Kirche's teasing, and how she have everyone in class giving her the intense stares. "I still wonder what all that was in class anyway?" He was thinking back to this morning clearly 'Louise the zero' had to mean something but his inner monologue was disrupted with him seeing Flame at the end of hallway.

The salamander crawled to his feet and Sora crouched down wounding what it was doing out here. "Hey their Flame, what's up? What are you doing out here?" Just as he said that the lizard knocked him down and belly flopped onto him. Sora groaned as he turn from his back to his hands, thinking why did he do that? But before he was about to stand up the salamander open his mouth and picked him up. The keyblade bearer's face turned pale thinking he was about to eat him but the red lizard just carried him off to somewhere?

(Kirche's room)

Flame dropped Sora on the hardwood floor, he look at his surroundings and saw notice the room was dark their were only a few lit candles. "Now where am I?" He said out loud when her heard a voice

"Welcome." Someone said with a seductive voice Sora looked face front and saw Kirche who was wearing some sexy lingerie exposing a great portion of her large breast, along with her midriff and underwear. Sora was in a state of shock as he blushed heavily and covered his eyes with his hand.

"Kirche?! What?!" Sora was so embarrassed he couldn't say anything else. Kirche on the other hand found it cute to see him acting so innocent.

"Welcome my room, tell me how was your pronounced again." The fire mage playfully said "Oh that's right, it's Sora, correct." She said with the look of lust in her eye's.

"Um. Yeah." Sora stuttered keeping his eyes covered. Kirche slowly got down and removed his hand. Their eyes were directly looking at each other.

"Ok then, Sora." Kirche said in a passionate voice, "I know I'm being a bad girl right now but I can't help it. You see people call me Kirche the fever, the reason for that is that I burn as hot as a flaming torch."

"That right, huh?"

"I see, you don't know what this means do you? I'm in love, and the person I'm in love with...is you Sora." That comment caused the teen to stiffen did he hear that right she loves him! "Love comes so suddenly to a person, just from watching you fight in the duel it just reminds me of the stories of a hero of justice. From then on my fever had turned to passion." She said as Kirche pinned him to the floor, her chest was pressed against his, he could feel the softness of her breast. What happened next was the fire mage started to slowly kiss his neck and took a small nibble of his ear, his voice slipped, before she pulled away now staring into his cerulean eyes. "I love you Sora."

"Can't we talk about this?! I mean we barely know each other?!" He said mortified as Kirche shook her head.

"Why talk? When actions speak louder." She slowly lean in for a kiss. But before anything could happen the window suddenly opened causing Kirche and Sora to get up from the floor and much to her surprised it was the same guy the red-haired girl was with the last time. "Styx, what a surprise." She said to the man floating outside.

"Kirche, you didn't show up for our meeting so I can to check on you. And what do I find, you with that boy of common birth." Styx said with a voice of jealousy, why is he a plebeian together with Zerbst!

"Yes I am, now can you come back in two maybe three hours." the fire mage said uncaring about him, as he shouted telling her that was not what they'd agreed on!

"We are on the third floor right?" Sora though as Kirche was getting annoyed she pulled out her wand created a fire snake that strike the older teen sending him back down. "Ah, friend of yours?" Sora said not really knowing how to respond to that.

"Yeah, an old friend actually." She told him before getting back to business when something lose someone else came bursting through the window.

"Kirche! I demand you tell me why you are with that plebeian, you told me that you weren't seeing anyone-Aagh." He suffered the same attack as Styx.

"Another friend?" Sora asked

"Unfortunately yes." Kitchen answered his question. But as she was about to kiss him again three more guys showed up. "Oh come on! Manican, Ajax, Gimli!"

"What the hell Kirche! I thought you weren't seeing another!" The boys said together.

"Seriously you guys! Can't you guys come back in maybe, I don't know six hours or something!?" She said with all of them shouting in unison that already morning. "Alright that's it. Flame." Kirche casually ordered her salamander, who was standing behind the boy in red and black. Flame sent a breath attack towards the three men at the window, and they all fell to the ground together.

"Kinda unnecessary don't'cha think?" Sora said with a bead of sweat, that was really uncalled for.

"Relax, I'm sure there all fine." Kirche guess. The fiery girl soon had him back to the floor as she slowly descended to kiss him. Sora in turn rolled over making him in top and her on the bottom "Oh, so you want to take the lead?" Kirche said in passion.

"No!" He exclaimed "Listen. I'm flattered but you should know I actually have-." Sora tried to explain that he already has feelings for someone else but what cut off but the door opening. Kirche thought it was another guy but really it was Louise with a tick off expression.

"Zerbst!" Louise howled as she moved forward.

"*Sigh* more interruptions? Kirche said uncaringly.

"Alright you witch, why are you trying to subdue my familiar?" Louise glared at her as she wanted answers.

"Sorry but I can't help it. You know that love and fire are intertwine in my family. We can't help but follow."

"You, back to my room got that." She said glaring at the warrior of light. Sora nodded and stood up only to be intercepted by Kirche as she grabbed a hold of his hand.

"Wait a minute. He might be your familiar but he also a human being!" Said the who was still sitting down "You don't really have to leave, do you? Kirche then gave the most innocent look she at him. Sora only studdered a mix of words but soon felt pain with Louise tugging on his ear. "You idiot, it's just her trying to trap you!" She said as she was pinching onto Sora's ear dragging him out.

(Louise room)

Louise brought Sora back to her room and saying she was angry would be just an understatement "Like some animal in heat!" Sora flinch a little he tried to talk to her but only to be ignored by him as she walk and open her draw.

"Uh, what that for?" He asked.

"You mean this whip, call it discipline." Louise said "And to think I saw you a person, when really, you would wag your tail at her." She flavored before striking him "You dog!"

Sora quickly did a reversal and doged the whip and he continued every other strike that followed. "Hey, take it easy! It's not what you think!" He shouted as he did a front flip.

"What is it about that woman you find so attractive! Is it her breast, are you in love with her because of those lumps of fat!" She projected, Sora couldn't believe what she was saying him in love with her, she reminds him of Axel really, the fire magic, the red hair, and how they both speak their mind that's really all it is and what does her chest have to do with this!

Sora knew she wasn't go to hear any reason until that whip was out of her hand so, he did a backflip to the wall with Louise right in front of him as she prepared to give a good lash he vanish just as she took a swing, the pink haired girl became startled by this her familiar disappearing in the air. Next thing she knew she was being held upside down looked like she found him.

"Put me down!" Ordered the pink-haired girl as she held onto her pajamas.

Sora shook his head "Not until you listen to me."

"I am not listening to anything you have to say!"

"Then I won't put you down." He said making her fury run deeper as he kept his cool Louise took a moment to assess the situation there was actually no way she can get out of it. She agreed to Sora's terms as he gently placed her down so they could talk, but not before Louise gave him a strong wack to his head. "Ow!" He howled holding his head.

"This explanation better be good." Louise said as she was still angry for being humiliated like that. Sora growled slightly, does she really have to be so violent.

(3 minutes later)

"So let me get this straight, Kirche's salamander dragged you to her room?" The pink haired girl said with doubt in her voice.

"Yeah, that's what I've been trying to tell. I had no control over any of that." Sora said sitting on the straw with Louise in a the chair, still not believing a single word.

"That just ridiculous. Your a swordsmen aren't you? Why didn't you just attack it?" Louise commented with Sora shaking his head telling her he wasn't going to hurt Flame he also said that he was a friend. Louise was rubbing her temples this was giving her a headache "Alright. So what were you doing anyway?"

"I was training. I've been working on some new moves these last few nights." Sora explained

"Why were you doing that?" Louise asked.

"You know. If anything happens, I don't always look for trouble sometimes it also finds me." The guardian of light said as the mage though about it for a second he's right. He doesn't always get in to trouble but it does fine him especially after showing pictures and him explaining about those 'heartless' creatures, monsters born from the negativity of the human heart and only the keyblade is powerful enough to vanquish, them just how are these weapons attained, and why non nobles like him should get them. Wait, was this feeling she has now envy. She thought as Sora continued. "But you know, their is one thing that I haven't been able to try out."

"And what would that be?" Louise questioned as Sora took off his gauntlet showing the runes on his hand.

"This." He explained "They haven't did that glowing thing since that fight I had with Guiche."

"So that all your runes?" Louise said mildly surprised.

"Not all of it." Sora corrected "For the first part of the fight that was me. But after I picked-up that sword my body was acting like it was moving on it's own." Strange though it doesn't seem to work he wondered why as Louise pondered for a moment before coming to a conclusion.

"It's probably your abilities as a familiar." Louise concluded.

"What does that mean?

"What I meant, is that some familiars do gain new powers once they're marked. One example is a black cat: their able to speak in human tongue once they become a familiar." Louise said giving a example of what she was talking about.

"Well I'm not a cat."

"I know that. And tomorrow is the day of the void too." Sora asked what she was talking about "Nevermind just go to sleep we're going out tomorrow." She ordered as she and Sora went to bed, but Sora was still up wondering what she had planned for tomorrow.

(Kirche's room)

"Now, what to do today? How should I seduce my darling Sora" Kirche said to herself in the mirror thinking how her plans were ruined, but that didn't mean she was giving up as she was thinking to herself she heard a horse outside and saw her love and Louise riding off somewhere. "Now where are the going? Well guess I can follow them." She said with a grin.

(Tabitha's room)

Tabitha was quietly reading a book in her room when she heard knocking, she already knew who it was, "Ansul bel an." The blue haired girl chanted the silence spell as Kirche burst through the door, Tabitha grabbed her staff and undo the spell so she could her what she had to say.

"Tabitha, get your stuff we're leaving right now!" The red head said in hurry.

"Day of the void." the blue haired girl said plainly.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah I know how important today is for you." Kirche said before putting on an act, "You see Tabitha I've fallen in love, but he went somewhere with that little Vallière bitch. I need to know where it is there going, go it!" She told her friend who just shook her head, "Oh right, you won't do anything without a good reason." She took a deep breath before answering, "Those two are going somewhere and I need your help to catch them, but I need your familiar to do so, please help me Tabitha."

Kirche practically begged for help and the girl with glasses nodded, after hearing her reason. Kirche soon became happy as Tabitha walked to her window and whistled for her familiars to come to her, Sylphid was now flying in the air with both girls on her back, "Where did they go?" She asked.

"I'm not to sure, remember I was in a rush." Kirche immediately cried as Tabitha commanded her familiar.

"There's a horse. Two people on it, don't eat them." She said and the dragon began searching.

Meanwhile while Sora and Louise were walking the city streets of tristain, Sora was excited seeing the difference stalles wanting to check them out but, Louise wasn't having his child like nature show itself so dragged him by his hood as they turned the corner and passed a potion shop. Untill reaching their destination.

"What is this place? Sora asked still not being able to read the writing.

"It's a weapon shop." Louise answered "Kirche is after you isn't she. Your gonna need some protection." Louise said with Sora putting his hands behind his head.

"Thank, but I already have my keyblade." Sora replied as Louise told him that's the problem, his weapon is a 'key' who's going to be intimidated by something like that. Without saying another word they both entered the shop.

"Welcome dear customers to my shop." A man in his fifties greeted both the noble girl and the plebeian boy, Louise looked around at sword trying to find a good one. Sora was also looking around of these most of these sword looked nice; he wondered it they had anything like Cloud's buster sword.

"The one you used last time was bigger then this one." She observed holding a rapier.

"Really?"

"Do you have any swords that are bigger and broader then this one?" She asked the shop keeper.

"Pardon me, but this sword is the right size for this gentleman." The owner said.

"I said I want a sword that is bigger and broader understand!" She demanded the shop owner understood and went to the back.

"You didn't need to be so rude." He lightly scolded Louise as she swung the sword in her hand for that comment only for it to be broken clean in half by the kingdom key that materialized in Sora's hand. They both realize the mistakes and quickly hit the broken sword away as the shopkeeper came back.

The owner returned with a shining sword that was pure gold. "Here it is the most finest weapon I own, once made in Germania by Sir Spee the great alchemist. It can cut steel right in two." The owner said holding the golden sword, Sora looked at the sword it's shiny luster was impressive but something about this sword was off.

Louise didn't care so she ask the price "How much?"

"That'll be three thousand gold coins."

"Th-Three thousand, that much is worth a house and a garden with that price!" The girl exclaimed at how high the price is.

Sora followed up with a joke as he was sweating "Don't tell us we have to give you kidney."

"A good weapon is the same worth as a good estate."

"M-Maybe so, but I only have one hundred gold on hand." Louise said as she was feeling embarrassed.

The owner laugh "Well the average swords in my store cost at least two hundred." He told her making the girl blush hard, she didn't know swords cost so much. Sora was seeing her getting flustered so he asked if their is anything that just cost hundred "Just a hundred you say, well I might have something..." He said digging through the barrel of weapons before pulling out a rusted thin longsword. "Here we go, it's a little old but it still has it's uses." He tossed the rusty sword to the spiky haired teen who examined it he could feel something that connected him into the sword.

"I'll take it." Sora said with a smile making Louise look dismissive he didn't want anything better. The two left the shop, "You know it's weird, like this sword was made of me you know?" Sora said.

"I don't know? But be grateful for something that you master has given you got it?" She said to her familiar but as she turned around his face was close to hers making her blush "What is it." Louise said wondering why he was so close before he replied thank you he actually can tell that she was a real good person even if she doesn't want to show it.

"Hey, since it's your day off from school, we can look around." He told his master as he took her hand making her blush again.

"Hey hold on!" She tried to make talk but was soon cut off.

"Come on, it'll be fun. I want to see a few stores." Said the keyblade wielder who was smiling she just sighed telling him alright and the two began walking, but unknown to them Kirche and Tabitha were watching them on their date. The blue haired girl was just reading her book, while our friend with the red hair was growling in frustration.

"I see how it is Vallière trying to win his love with a present, huh." She could not believe it she was losing to the zero of all people doesn't matter she'll do what ever to capture Sora's heart.

(Louise's room)

The day was over and Sora and Louise returned to the academy today was nice as the entered Louise's room Kirche and Tabitha entered as well and in Kirche hand was the same sword that Louise couldn't buy "Here you go darling, this should be much better then this old junk."

"Care to explain Zerbst?" Louise said glaring at her enemy.

"I was out shopping, and I found the perfect item that would be great for my love Sora." She said acting all prideful.

"You mean you followed us, and bewitched the owner into lowering the price of the sword." The pink haired girl said as Kirche told her that was exactly what happened.

(Weapons shop)

Meanwhile the owner was pouring himself a glass of liquor. He was feeling completely upset, he was hoping to cheat a noble but instead he's the one who got cheated. "I can not believe this." He cried

(Louise room)

"You know this sword was made in Germanian right, the best is weapons and women come from my land. That sword you bought is the same as you tasteless, tactless, and flat." Kirche said in triumph puffing out her chest letting her breast jiggle a bit.

"Why...You! You know a Germanian woman like you is nothing but a hopeless romantic, I'm sure you flirted so many guys people stoped talking to you so that's why your at school in a neighboring country!" Louise said in spite, both raised their wands with darkened faces.

"Big words little girl."

"I'm only telling the truth." abut before anything could happen, Tabitha use a spell to take their wands out of their hands and put them on the bed.

"No magic indoors." She said plainly the girls.

"She's right, can't we all get along." Sora said trying to be the voice of reason when both looked at each other and harshly shot glares at each other before turning their heads way "I guess not, huh?"

[Will you people shut up! I'm trying to sleep here!] A unknown voice spoke out loudly starting almost everyone in the room

"What was that?" Sora and everyone else look around the room and saw no one else here.

"The sword." Tabitha said, Sora let go of Louise and all three walked to the rusty sword, it was actually talking!

[Geez, can't an old sword get some quality sleep.]

"No way a talking sword amazing!" Sora said with a voice of excitement he seen talking animals but a sword that can talk, that's new even for him.

[Well, well you're my new partner huh, you're pretty baby faced I can see why I had to wake up.] The sword said making Sora raised his eye brow wondering what he meant by his partner.

"Isn't that a sentinel sword. Y'know those, sword that contains their own intelligence and wisdom. I have to say you have strange taste for things Vallière." Kirche said to her rival.

"How was I supposed to know that this thing can talk. I planning to sell back to that owner." Louise reply as her familiar was just talking with the sword in his hand.

[What year is it? Where am I? And what up with that hair how is it defying gravity? Damnit someone give me some answers!] the sword complained not knowing what was happening as for Sora, he was just laughing at the old sword.

"Oh, man. I'm so keeping this!" Sora told the girls as both gasped at his words. Kirche was visibly upset where as Louise was just annoyed at Sora who was having a conversation with the sword.

"First, my familiar comes from another world. Now, I'm stuck with a talking sword?" She couldn't believe it, why does all this strange stuff keep happening to her?
