Zeldris followed Erza like a puppy on a leash, walking beside her, seeming willing to do anything she would ask. Finally, just before reaching the edge of Magnolia, there was a very large home up on a hill, with a big gate on the road leading up to the home.

"Wait here Zeldris, I'll get Wendy; she uses healing and sky dragon slayer magic. Besides myself, she'll be a good person to train with."

Zeldris nodded and relaxed, sitting down upon one of the stone pillars for the gate and closing his eyes to doze just a little bit.

A tap could be felt on Zeldris's shoulder, and he woke up with a start. "I-who-what?" he said, frantically looking around and shaking his head for a moment until he finally focused.

"Zeldris!" Erza barked, and he quickly got up, finally settling down, his eyes still full of terror.

"Yes ma'am" he said, fear in his big green eyes, looking up at Erza. His eyes now fell to Wendy, who was the same height as him, she was a petite girl, with flowing blue hair, much like Erza's aside from the color, and wore a green, blue, and yellow striped dress.

"This is Wendy! Wendy, meet Zeldris, we're taking him to Hargeon with us to do some training." Wendy smiled brightly, eager to help a new member like so many in the guild before her did.

Zeldris finally regained his composure. "A pleasure to meet another Fairy Tail member" he said.

Erza pulled behind her a massive cart full of suitcases. "Let's get going, we can still make the train, if we hurry" she remarked.

"Train!?" Exclaimed Wendy who's heart sank at the thought of a train ride as she walked beside Erza.

Zeldris meanwhile starred in absolute awe noticing Erza's wagon, his mouth agape, unsure what to say, but he quickly followed beside the two ladies. Finally Wendy spoke to him, being more polite than anything.

"So, I use sky dragon slayer and support magic, and Erza uses requip magic; what magic do you use?"

Zeldris, still in a state of shock, finally responded a few seconds later. "My magical power is full counter: I can deflect any magical attack sent towards me at double strength back at it's caster." Wendy was surprised by his words.

Magical objects had existed in Earthland that could reflect magic and even a basic form of magic that could send a spell back at it's caster but never like anything Zeldris described.

"Well, that's very interesting, but what about physical attacks?" she asked, the Magnolia train station coming into view as they walked.

Zeldris shook his head. "No, I can't deflect those kinds of attacks unfortunately, although it would be nice," he chuckled. "Is that the train station there? And Erza, I must ask, why do you have all those suitcases?"

Erza nodded "Yes, and I've always had this cart and i've redesigned it recently so I can just attach it to the back of the trains." Zeldris stared in shock as they began to climb up the steps.

An announcement over the PA system said, "last call for Heartfilia Railway train to Hargeon on track five, train leaves in five minutes!" Erza, conscious of the announcement, soon began to quickly bark orders.

"Wendy, get us three tickets! I'll attach this cart to the end, and we'll stay in the end coach. Zeldris, you stay with me!"

Wendy ran off to buy the tickets and the cart surprisingly slipped onto the rails with ease, as if they knew she was coming. Zeldris stood there not really helping, out of pure lack of knowledge of what to do. He had never even seen a train before, much less ridden one before.

Erza connected her cart and everything seemed to be set.

"Sorry I barked at you but we needed to hurry and I thought this would take longer.'' Zeldris smiled and nodded, looking much more relieved.

"Don't worry, I am basically going to obey almost any command you give me," he teased and chuckled.

Wendy finally arrived. "Here you two go" Erza nodded, grabbing her ticket, and handing Zeldris his.

The three of them boarded the train quickly, grabbing the last seats at the very end of the carriage, Zeldris sitting beside Wendy, his head next to the window, as the two faced Erza, who faced rearward keeping a close eye on her belongings. Wendy carried a small backpack-like suitcase with her, similar to Zeldris's minus a sleeping bag.

The train finally started to move, and the wizards seemed to relax, except for Wendy, her motion sickness, common to those with dragon slayer magic, was afflicting her.

"Why do I always let everyone convince me to take the train" she muttered, almost wailing as she curled in the seat.

Zeldris looked over at Wendy very puzzled, pointing and asking, "shouldn't we help her?"

Erza shook her head, sighing "unfortunately, those who practice dragon slaying magic have a very poor tolerance for moving vehicles".

Wendy muttered "you can sure say that again".

Zeldris nodded, thirty minutes passed before he said anything. "Thank you for accepting my request, Miss Erza and Miss Wendy, since I lack much in the way of offensive attacks, I've learned how to use my sword as the best way to fight" attempting to bring up conversation.

"You don't have to be formal with us" Erza said "Besides, being formal with us doesn't win you any points in Fairy Tail." Zeldris chuckled at Erza's words.

Zeldris smiled and turned back towards the window, beginning to doze off, the sky fading to black signifying the end of the day. A light snore could be heard from him along with the groans of Wendy.

The train glided into the station, not waking Zeldris. Drool had formed on the corner of his mouth. Erza stood up with her serious look, tapping Zeldris on the shoulder.

"Hey, time to get up, we're finally in Hargeon," Erza said, opening the sliding door at the end of the car. Wendy groaned and opened her eyes slowly because of the harsh light of the train station; the train did not do her any good.

Wendy groaned again "tell me when we get there" slowly regaining a stable stomach.

Erza rolled her eyes "we're here Wendy, and Zeldris wake up!"

Zeldris mumbled, slowly stumbling out of the coach, Wendy followed along, still struggling from the motion sickness.

Zeldris finally woke up and asked "So Erza, is there a hotel that we'll stay in or what and what's our training plan for tomorrow or have you decided yet?"slowly walking with Erza and Wendy as they left the station.

"Well, I'm glad you asked, I plan to test your physical strength and stamina initially, then after lunch I plan to test your magic. We may have a few battles, though we won't go too hard on you," she teased. Wendy looked somewhat interested in that.

Erza chuckled "About the hotel however, if I'm truly honest, because the master threw so many things together so quickly I didn't have time to worry about it. Besides, I see that you have a sleeping bag with you as is, so I see no reason not to sleep on the beach tonight". Zeldris shrugged, a little saddened but at the same time not nearly as put off as Wendy.

"What do you mean we're sleeping on the beach?!" she exclaimed, attempting to maintain a calm demeanor yet looking quite dismayed. "I mean, it's one thing if it was just us girls, but I don't even have a sleeping bag!" she protested.

Erza smiled at Wendy. "Don't worry, Juvia gave me her two person sleeping bag." Zeldris looked a little perplexed at her words. Wendy barely looked comforted by her words but calmed down, nevertheless.

"Let's go, we'll make our way to the spot, it's only a mile out of town" Erza finished, as the trio walked on the road out of town.

Finally, they reached the secluded spot in a small little portion of beach off the beaten path near a cave. The waves were at high tide when they arrived and were no more than a dozen yards or so away from the cave.

"Here we are. I know you two are tired, so we'll go ahead and get ready for bed here". Zeldris nodded, setting up his sleeping bag and getting settled inside the cave, removing his backpack and two sheaved swords. He yawned and quickly turned over.

"Good night you two," he said, quickly falling asleep.

Erza smiled seeming relaxed, as she set her two-person sleeping bag up in the opposite of Zeldris's direction. The two changed behind Erza's massive cart, and climbing into the sleeping bag, the two quickly fell asleep like Zeldris, enjoying their slumber with the sound of the waves. All three dreamt of what the coming day would bring, Zeldris the happiest while he slept, dreaming of his future in the guild and the wonders that he'll experience on the path to glory.
