As Zeldris fainted and fell asleep, Wendy, Erza, and Carla panicked.

"Wendy, as soon as you're able, use your healing magic on him!" Erza said. Wendy slowly stumbled over to him.

"Just a moment, I still need a minute," Wendy said, slowly recovering. The water was now at Zeldris's feet as he dozed.

"Carla, help me move him back to the cave, and when Wendy is ready she can use her sky magic," Erza said, still concerned. Carla rolled her eyes, transforming into her human form: a short white-haired girl with white cat ears and tail, wearing a one piece black swimsuit. The two pulled the sleeping wizard to the cave. A light snore could be heard from him when they finished moving from him.

"How can he be asleep?!" exclaimed Erza hearing him snore. Wendy couldn't help but chuckle as she slowly walked over, sitting in the shade of the small cave.

"At least one of us can actually get some rest," Wendy remarked.

"We'll wait till he's awake, and then we can decide from there, but I think he's ready for his first job," Erza said.

An hour passed as Zeldris slept, Erza, Wendy, and Carla meanwhile were fishing until Zeldris finally woke up, and slowly stumbled to where the trio of female wizards sat.

"You're finally awake it seems," Erza said, "and since you've exceeded my expectations, I think we can relax for the rest of the day and recover our strength and magic and tomorrow you'll go on your first job." Zeldris smiled, relaxing back to lay on the sand.

"I'm fine with that," Zeldris said, closing his eyes. "I could use a rest, truth be told." He quickly fell asleep, snoring almost a minute later.

Erza, Wendy, and Carla looked at Zeldris, dumbfounded.

"How on earth can anyone fall asleep so fast, and practically anywhere?" Erza asked, still mystified.

"Zeldris and his sleeping are almost as bad as Natsu and his eating," Wendy chuckled "but for now we can relax in the sun all afternoon."

Zeldris continued to snore, dreaming happily not seeming to care drooling in his sleep.

"I can see why Zeldris sleeps so much; if he has been traveling from the northern continent, he must have been exhausted." Wendy remarked.

Zeldris continued snoring, as the ladies rolled their eyes.

"He's worse than Natsu," complained Carla. The three laughed in agreement.

"Well, let's hope he can battle as good as Natsu when fighting the dark guilds," Erza added.

Wendy let out a nervous chuckle. "That full counter of his will be quite the force to anyone if they aren't expecting it. Plus, his physical fighting skills and sword skills aren't bad either, from what I could observe," Wendy added.

"I'd love to see the look on Natsu's and Gray's faces when they try to fight him and have their magic deflected back at him" Erza laughed, the others chuckled in unison. Wendy caught and reeled in a big fish.

Three hours passed before a mumbling could he heard.

"Hmmm? Is it time for dinner yet?" Zeldris muttered.

"Well then, you're finally awake, just in time for the end of sunset," she said.

Zeldris nodded, still groggy from his sleep as he sat up beside Erza's right side on the sand, the water now coming close to the 4 of them as the tide was still coming in.

"I see dinner has been caught." Zeldris looked over to a pile of five nicely sized fish.

Wendy smiled and nodded. "We caught them rather quickly," she added.

"So, we figured that we'd relax some; the Grand Magic Games did take a lot out of us," Erza said, turning to Zeldris. Wendy cheerfully nodded. Zeldris smiled, and was followed by a growling noise from his stomach. Erza and Wendy laughed at the situation.

"Well it is late enough that we can start cooking our dinner," Erza smiled kindly, standing up, picking up the fish and headed over to the grill, requipping into the apron and toque from before.

Zeldris leaned down and whispered to Wendy and asked, "Is this really how she changes clothes?"

Wendy nodded and replied, "Just don't look at her when she does it."

Zeldris raised a confused eyebrow, a minute passing before he went wide eyed. A horrified look having come across his face, he whispered, "you mean…?". Wendy nodded, confirming Zeldris's suspicion who nearly fainted as he finally understood.

Zeldris's mind raced with thoughts, some perverted and some not. Erza finally finished cooking the fish, giving the 3 of them and herself a fish. Zeldris quickly dug in, eating it like a monster, as the others sighed, horrified but too hungry to care.

The sun finally set and gave way to a beautiful, slightly waning gibbous. Zeldris smiled as he looked up at it. "It's such a pretty sight," Zeldris said, breaking the conversational silence. "The moon and the stars like that."

"They certainly are a pretty sight," Erza agreed, having finished her meal. "Since you're obviously so much farther along in your training than we thought, we'll be going into Hargeon and doing your very first job" Then her upbeat look quickly turned to one of displeasure and sternness, "Don't oversleep again!" she added.

Zeldris nodded and squeaked. "Yes ma'am" he said, very nervously. Wendy chuckled, clutching her dear cat and smiling at the whole situation.

"Don't worry, she's like that to all of us," Wendy said to Zeldris, "It doesn't matter who; she'll treat everyone like that," she said, trying to placate him. Zeldris chuckled some, acting a tad more relieved. Erza herself could not help but smile.

Zeldris stood up and stretched. "Well, it is time for me to rest, since we have such a long day tomorrow," and began to walk back.

Wendy leaned over and whispered to Erza. "I mean he could be worse, at least it's not like having to deal with Gray's stripping or Natsu's shenanigans." Erza shrugged and quietly nodded her head in agreement.
