Zeldris slowly woke up; it was the next day, July 11th if he remembered correctly. As he slowly got up and fixed his clothes, he walked over to the guide wall of the floor in the guild and looked down at the main floor of the guild hall, hearing a loud voice.

"I'm all fired up!" a pink-haired fire wizard shouted. Soon a brawl broke out; while he watched, a kind, but rather risqué person parked up next to him.

"Hey cutie," A scantily bikini clad woman said, wrapping her arms around him as they gazed upon the scene below them.

"So, who are you and who's all fighting down there?" Zeldris asked the very loving woman, who had now slipped a hand into his shirt to enjoy the feeling of Zeldris's rather smooth chest. With her free hand she pointed first to the pink-haired fire user.

"My name is Cana Alberona, and that's Natsu Dragneel; he's a ball of rage and fire, really fun," Cana said. "That dark haired one is our ice user, Gray." Upon his mentioning, most of Gray's clothes fell off. "And don't worry, it's common to see him strip." She then teased, "I can too, if you want."

Zeldris rolled his eyes, attempting to ignore her comment while thoughts filled his head, he then pointed to a large brute of a man with white hair who was busy duking it out with the others.

"That's Elfman, Mirajane's younger brother," Cana said, somewhat annoyed.

"Any other ones that I should know?" Zeldris asked.

Cana shrugged. "The only thing I would say is to get to know me better," she said seductively.

Zeldris rolled his eyes and sighed loudly. "Should I go down there and join them?" he pondered out loud.

"Not if you want your mommy Erza to go and beat you up because you're fighting," Cana teased.

"She's not my mother!" Zeldris snapped back.

"Well you did apparently call her mommy" Cana continued to tease. Zeldris went as red as the clothes he wore.

"I mean if you're into, that I can provide that for you," Cana continued to tease and flirt with him.

"Back off, I'm only 15!" he barked at her. He was 16 creeping on 17; no one had ever flirted with him this much and was just trying to not be enveloped by her.

"Hmmm, I guess they're making hunks younger and younger now." Cana mumbled and then added "Well, watching them brawl has got me in the mood to brawl!" The next moment as she walked away he felt some thin fabric land on him; it was Cana's bikini top. However, before Zeldris had any time to shout an objection, she was gone, and already brawling. For every person that was blushing and attempting to look away, there were two more who were wide eyed and enjoying every moment. Zeldris sighed, eyeing the black bikini top he held in his hands.

"There you are" a kind voice said, climbing up the stairs. "We were wondering where you had gone after you went exploring." Mira said "I meant to give you your guild mark. Any preferred colors or locations?"

"Can I get two? One on each hand?" Zeldris asked.

"Of course," Mira smiled and answered. "And what color?"

"Pink please" he asked. Mira quickly went to work, putting the pink Fairy Tail guild mark on his hands.

He returned to looking at the fight and at Cana. "Should I be worried about her?" Zeldris asked Mirajane.

Mira sighed, rather dismayed at all that was happening. "Believe it or not, she's not normally like this; her father just left for a very long job, and her now ex-boyfriend Bacchus got into a magic battle outside of the games last week and openly mocked her. "

Zeldris nodded silently, finally answering. "I see."

"She didn't hurt you, did she?" Mira asked.

"Not at all," Zeldris shrugged.

Mira shrugged, still looking dismayed, "Well, please don't be mad at her, I apologize on her behalf".

"I'm not mad, and I wouldn't do anything against her," Zeldris said, "I guess I'm more worried than mad, considering her behavior." He made a facial gesture to the status of the fight, and the fact he still held Cana's bikini top.

Mira lightened up, chucking and teasing, "I wouldn't worry, and besides, I think you should keep it as a trophy. I'm so going to hold this over her!" Mira struggled to contain herself as she chuckled.

"Um Mira, in all seriousness, where is there to live around here?" Zeldris asked, "I know I need to do some jobs before I can afford a living space but is there anywhere I can lay for a while?"

Mira chuckled. "I have a spare key to Lucy's apartment if she doesn't kick you out."

Zeldris laughed sarcastically in response, "I've already been kicked out once."

"Maybe mommy Erza will put you up in a place," Mira said.

"She's not my mother!" Zeldris snapped.

"I'm only teasing you know" Mira said, smiling warmly, "but that joke is just going to stick with you for a while and it's fun to hold this over Erza's head, too," giving him fair warning. Zeldris blushed again in embarrassment.

"Should I go down there and join their foolishness?" Zeldris asked. A moment later a large fist raised up smashed the brawlers flat to the ground.

"Children, SIMMER DOWN!" a voice boomed. "And Cana, as much as the other boys will enjoy the view, it would be prudent of you to put something on," The master said, shrinking his fist and bringing it back to himself. The group of (mostly male) annoyed wizards grumbled about his words and soon began giggling about Cana's predicament as she covered her important bits.

"Would you at least turn away, gosh," Cana remarked seeming to have come back to reality, as Lisanna, the kind white haired, shorter young sister of Mirajane handed her something that resembled a white bikini, and Cana put it on.

"Thanks, Lisanna, do you just keep spares in your possession or something?" Cana asked, perplexed how it fit so well.

"Um, kinda, I mean we do have a pool after all," Lisanna remarked.

"Fair enough." Cana shrugged.

"Alright then, if you two are finished" Makarov said, "I wish to showcase our newest recruit!", looking up towards the 3rd level where Mira and Zeldris were. "Do you mind bringing him down here?" Mira nodded and Zeldris followed her down the stairs.

"This is Zeldris Akuna; he joined us the day after we won at the Grand Magic Games," Makarov said. Zeldris waved, having suddenly fallen very silent and quite nervous as all the curious eyes gazed upon him. Erza smiled at him from the crowd; somehow it put him at ease.

"Now then, we'll have a lot of new people joining just like Zeldris in the next few days thanks to our victory and that many more job requests," Master Makarov added, quickly lowering his voice and turning to Zeldris "Don't worry, we do that for everyone. If you need anything just ask." Zeldris smiled and nodded.

Elfman the white-haired, muscular brute muttered. "Well he's not very manly".

"Oh, pipe down big brother Elf, he could be more manly than you" Lisanna, his little sister teased.

Elfman fell silent, his mouth agape at what his little sister said.

Natsu and Gray took an interest in him, but said nothing, the two still fuming over each other's actions that started the fight. Finally, Gray broke the silence between the two of them.

"What is it, flame for brains?" Gray said.

"Something smells off about him," Natsu said. Zeldris looked at Natsu very perplexed, hearing this remark, but shrugged it off and returned to the third-floor level booths and began to gaze off into the distance out to the lake south of the guild, his mind lost in thought.

"What do you think Wendy? You were with him for a couple days, weren't you?" Natsu turned to Wendy who sat off to his right.

"Well, at first he didn't really smell like anything, but I never got a good whiff of him until now." Wendy remarked. "He smells like a demon slayer, like you Gray, but the smell itself is off."

As Zeldris returned to his booth where he once dozed earlier, a strong blonde wizard walked up to him.

"So you're the newbie that made Wendy use her dragon force on you?" asked the man, his name was Laxus Dryer, grandson of the master, at 6'3 he was one of the tallest in the guild, with a lightning scar across his right eye, short blonde hair, wearing a purple shirt, black pants, and wearing a black coat with silvery fur lining.

Zeldris looked up at him sheepishly "um yes, that would be me" he remarked, unsure of what to make of Laxus's remark.

"Well, me and my team The Thunder Legion are going to be taking a high paying job tomorrow if you want to come" Laxus said. Zeldris sat up and nodded.

"I'll be there, just when?" Zeldris asked, looking starry eyed as he was happy to be asked to take on a job by a famous powerful wizard such as Laxus.

Laxus could not help but grin "7 AM sharp and don't be late, 5 million Jule split 5 ways is worth waking up for ain't it?" he said as he walked away "train station at 7" he said again.

Zeldris's mouth watered at the thought of it, 5 million jewel split 5 ways, he could be living high off the hog and have whatever he wanted, his mind flooded with thoughts of luxury and so he drifted back off to sleep.
