Zeldris woke up and sleepily stumbled to the guild, having recently started renting an apartment, down and across from Lucy's apartment in the same building (giving both a discount in rent in the process). He finally woke up as he made his way in, heading towards the job request board, eager to get more experience under his belt. He noticed a decent low paying job, he grabbed it and took it over to Freed who was relaxing in one of the booths with members of the Thunderlegion.

"Hey Freed, look, this translation job sounds interesting" he said, as he handed the flyer over to the maroon robed wizard. He glanced over it and nodded, noting the 30,000-jewel reward.

"Hmm, this sounds right up my alley, thanks Zeldris, we'll take it, though take this over to Levy" as he pointed to a short petite woman with bright blue long somewhat spiky hair, "she's very good with translations like me".

Zeldris walked over to where the woman was sitting, across from a large wizard with flowing black hair, and seeming to be decorated with metal piercings.

"Excuse me, are you Levy McGarden?" Zeldris asked.

The woman turned and smiled "why yes, that would be me, oh hey you're that new kid that joined a few days ago" she remarked noticing the flyer in his hand "hey can I see that job request?" Zeldris handed it over.

"Freed and I are going to go on this translation job, and he suggested you come along with us as well" Zeldris said.

Levy read over the flyer in delight "sounds awesome! Since it's in Oak Town we can get it done today if we leave now" as Levy looked over to her boyfriend, Gajeel Redfox the iron dragon slayer "you don't mind if I go right?"

"Oak Town, that sure does bring back memories" he reminisced and then said "I don't mind, besides, we could use the extra jewel around here" he finished with a kind smile.

"Awesome!" gleefully remarked Levy, "I'll take this over to Mira and let her know we're going". Zeldris nodded and returned over to Freed, letting him know about Levy's word and everything.

"Perfect, it's only a couple hours walk to and back so we can get back before night fall" Freed said as he escorted Zeldris to the door waiting on the now eager Levy to join them.

"Thanks for the invitation, Freed, this should be an easy job for us" Levy remarked as they walked out the door, heading to the north and east.

"Will this be a train ride? Or just a walk?" asked Zeldris as they continued towards the train station.

"None of the trains this time of morning make a stop in Oak Town, so we'll just walk" Freed responded.

"Besides, if we follow the tracks it will be about an hour and a half walk to the town," Levy added.

Zeldris shrugged "sounds good, besides translating and a 30,000-jewel reward, what does this job involve?" asking about the flyer.

Levy pulled it out and looked over it as they started following the tracks north east "it says here that some archaeologists have found an ancient monument and they are unable to translate it despite the books they have on hand, so they're asking the wizard guilds for help", Zeldris nodded in understanding.

The trio continued north east, passing the time with small talk as the distance and the time just seemed to ease by. Finally, an hour or so after they started out, the town was coming into view. It was a town that looked quite run down and that it had seen better days.

"There it is!" pointed Levy who was still very upbeat.

"Indeed, and from what I read; the dig site is on this side of the town," remarked Freed.

As the wizards made their way closer to the town they could see the site, and the marble pillar came into view as they were now a couple kilometers out.

They reached the archaeological site, and walked up to the medium height, bearded man who stood at the marble monument.

"Excuse me" asked Freed "would you be the gentleman who put in the translation request?" Levy and Zeldris gazed at the pillar. Levy was already trying to figure out what was written on the marble pillar, though her face fell as she struggled to make out what was said.

The men responded, "yes that would be me, are you the wizards from Fairy Tail?" they asked, Freed and the two wizards nodded in response.

"Good, now as you three can see, we unearthed this pillar last week and ever since then we have been trying to decipher what the markings on this mean". One of the men responded.

"I see" Freed remarked "do you have any inclinations about what it does say?"

The man shook his head "no, but we do seem to understand this may be one of the oldest artifacts in the whole of Fiore" he responded rather excitedly, then adding "you can have all our books and notes if that will help."

The three wizards nodded in understanding and got to work, looking at the statue, and back to the books, repeating the cycle for what felt like an hour, all three becoming increasingly frustrated.

Zeldris shrugged, and said to Freed and Levy "I'm heading to the monument, I want to look at the words more closely"

"Fine with me" remarked Levy.

"Don't fall asleep!" called Freed, which warranted an eye roll from Zeldris as he walked over and sat down gazing at it, racking his brain to see if he knew about it.

An hour passed and Freed was now quite frustrated, and Levy was not doing much better.

"Let's go and see if Zeldris has fallen asleep" Freed remarked, Levy nodded and the two walked over to Zeldris who was sitting at the base of the monument, his mouth agape, and his face far too pale to be normal.

"What's wrong?" Freed and Levy exclaimed.

"I know what it says," Zeldris said as he looked down at his feet. Freed and Levy looked at each other in shock, waving the head of the dig site over to them.

"Well, what does it say?" Levy asked.

Zeldris looked up at the monument and read out what was marked on the pillar;

"Let it be known that on this day of the current year, the five clans Demon, Fairy, Giant, Goddess, and Humans came together to reshape the world, sealing away the clans to their respective realms, so that each clan will have peace and no more inter clan conflicts. We do this to prevent the new world that we create to be spared from the bloody thousands of year conflicts that have plagued us each like the ancient holy war. This new world begins with a three-and-a-half-day cleansing and changing of the world as we all know it for the better of all the clans. Signed below are the leaders of each of the clans.

Demon King- Meliodas

Fairy King- Harlequinn

Giant Clan Leader- Diane

Goddess Supreme Deity- Elizabeth

King of Camelot and Liones Arthur Pendragon" Zeldris finished.

The trio of listeners could not believe what Zeldris said, finally after a solid minute, Freed spoke "so, then if you know what this says, then why didn't you recognize it right off the bat?" trying to understand, and get Zeldris to prove what he meant.

"Long ago, when I was living on the northern continent of Giltina, my master Chandler, spoke of this event and what happened after the three and a half days that were mentioned on the pillar, one of his ancestors, found this pillar on their travels, which marked the spot where the five clans met before the world was forever reshaped" Zeldris responded.

He paused and then reached into his backpack, "I think I have it here" as he reached in, and pulled out a book, "here Levy, I think what was transcribed on the pillar is in here" as he flipped through quickly, finding a tabbed page in the book, "this should be the same thing on the pillar but in something more modern, and should help prove my point" finished Zeldris.

"Oh, I recognize this, it's ancient Meridiseian" Levy remarked "this should not take more than five to ten minutes to decipher" she finished, taking the book back to where they were sitting before and doing some quick translation. Zeldris and Freed looked at Levy in shock, surprised at the ease she made the translation seem.

"Hey, I got it now! He is right" Levy remarked walking back to them, Freed and the dig site leader looked at each in disbelief, "and here," she continued "I was able to get a rough translation to Meridiesian, so that you guys can translate anything else that is found".

The man was amazed "thank you Levy, this is really appreciated" as he walked over to the command tent, "with each of yourselves great help, I'm going to triple your reward" handing each of the wizards, a handsome of Jewel, the wizards looked at him with amazement.

"Thank you for the reward sir, we are glad we are able to help, and we will take our leave" Freed remarked as the wizards started back towards the train tracks to head southwest back to Magnolia. Zeldris smiled, as he walked with the fellow wizards, engaging in small talk, happy with how the job turned out, and his ability to help, filling him with an eagerness to take on more jobs and climb the ranks of the Fairy Tail guild.
