Juvia and Lisanna walked along the path towards where the routes split off, conversing among themselves, Juvia in her normal blue and white blouse and skirt, Lisanna was in some short denim shorts and white bikini style top. The two had now arrived where the paths split, there were ten paths, each labelled with a letter of the alphabet, A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I, and J, the two ladies pondered which of the paths to take.
"So, which do you think we should take Lisanna?" Juvia asked.
"I don't really know, I think route D maybe?" Lisanna remarked, suddenly the two girls heard voices and feet walking in their direction.
"Crap" Juvia said "route D it is then" and just like that, the route closed and the ladies made their way deep into the covered route. Lisanna finally decided to strike up conversation, "so what will you do once you become S-class?"
"Go on a victory date with my darling Gray!" Juvia shouted with glee, quickly daydreaming then saying, "and then I'll ask him to marry me on spot" and she continued to daydream, about things to make even this writer blush, going red as she finished remarking "so many babies".
Lisanna laughed at that, "you need to focus on the trial for now girl, I bet Gray would be very impressed if you beat him to s-class, he might start chasing after you" she teased, but Juvia took that as gospel. She blushed bright red, steam practically coming off her flushed face, as she mumbled "babies, babies, babies".
Juvia finally seemed to collect herself, beginning to focus on the trial again, began asking "so who do you think we'll be fighting? Or maybe Master was trying to trick us into thinking there was no serenity route?"
"I highly doubt that, otherwise there would need to be two of those routes, and if somehow only a couple people got past the rounds because they chose the serenity routes it wouldn't necessarily be fair" Lisanna responded.
"I see, but let's hope that this is a serenity route" Juvia added.
"Or at least one that's got an easy battle" Lisanna then said, as the two rounded a curve and the path seemed to open and lighten up.
"Well ladies, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but this is not going to be an easy battle" a voice then responded, and then Juvia and Lisanna's collective faces fell, there he stood, Laxus Dryar.
"We're dead" remarked Juvia.
"We'll survive, we'd be dead if we faced off against GIldarts" responded Lisanna.
"No, we wouldn't even be dust if we faced off against Gildarts" Juvia retorted.
"Aye sir" Lisanna agreed.
"So, what's our chances?' Juvia then asked, still dumb founded at her horrid luck.
"A billion to one, give or take a million?" Lisanna then said, equally dismayed.
"Come on ladies, you'll never become s-class with an attitude like that" Laxus said.
"Besides" he continued "it is a 2 on 1 battle, and you two get to make the first shot, it's in the rules".
"Well then, for my darling Gray we'll win this battle and I'll become an S-class wizard!" Juvia remarked and then with a fling her blouse came off, leaving only her almost neon green bra.
Laxus then rolled his eyes and remarked "ugh, Gray's stripping habit is becoming contagious" then shrugging followed by "at least the view isn't bad".
"You pig!" shouted Lisanna, followed by "animal soul, nine tailed fox" and Lisanna quickly transformed into a humanoid fox sprouting nine tails, she quickly jumped into the air towards Laxus going for an attack, shouting "fox impact!" as she landed on top of him, the group smashing below them, Laxus shrugged off the impact, Lisanna quickly pounced back towards Juvia, eager to coordinate a new attack.
"Anything from you Juvia?" a surprisingly smug Laxus remarked.
"I'll end this battle right here and now" Juvia shouted.
"Oh, you will? Laxus rolled his eyes.
"Water cyclone!" Juvia shouted and two cyclones of water appeared out of thin air, coming towards Laxus, who rolled his eyes.
"It is shocking the glaring mistake you made" Laxus said as he raised his fist in the air and shouted "raging bolt!" and a massive lightning bolt came from his fist and landed on the two water cyclones, instantly shocking the two cyclones which in turn shocked Juvia and Lisanna to a crisp.
The two ladies laid on the ground, groaning from the shock, Lisanna then remarked "he sure got us good".
"Aye sir" added Juvia.
Laxus sighed looking down at the two and said, "as you can tell, I can't let you two advance".
"Aye sir" the ladies remarked in unison.
"Rest some and we'll make our way back to base camp in a few minutes" Laxus said as the ladies nodded in unison, upset that they're journey ended so soon.
