"Aww man, they took that route" grumbled Bixlow, as his dolls floated behind.
"I think they took route D" Romeo remarked.
"D, D, D!" the dolls shouted.
"So, which route should we take then?" Bixlow then asked, looking at the available routes.
"Well, I bet E means we'll fight Erza, or maybe D for Laxus Dryar" Romeo responded, then adding "maybe we should take route B, and we can fight someone lower down like Cana and Terra Mere?"
Bixlow glared at him at first, "fine we'll do it! Route B it is".
"B! B! B!" the dolls remarked.
The two made their way towards path B, and then Bixlow remarked "you do realize I lost to Cana and Lucy last time, right?"
"Bimbos! Bimbos" the dolls remarked.
"Oh, I forgot" Romeo sheepishly responded, as the route sealed behind them.
"Besides, why would you want to fight Terra Mere, isn't she your girlfriend or something?" Bixlow asked, Romeo blushed bright red at the question.
"Well, she isn't really my girlfriend, I mean, I haven't really thought about that before" Romeo remarked bashfully.
"Well, anyone with a tenth of a brain can tell, she's into you" Bixlow added, "I mean, it's not like she's holding back, she almost makes Juvia seem tame" he finished.
Romeo was now putting two and two together and muttered "yes, especially if that dress gets cut any lower, I'll see more then I ever bargained for".
"You should appreciate the view, Zeldris seems to" Bixlow retorted rather sarcastically.
"That just makes it weird" Romeo responded, almost offended.
"You do realize she put her guild mark there for a reason, right?" Bixlow responded, "Evergreen is kinda the same way", Romeo blushed again, putting two and two together.
"You do need to try and date her, before she goes full on Juvia on you" Bixlow finished.
"I will, I will, I almost hope we don't fight them now" Romeo said as they continued walking.
Both began to sense an ominous presence as they continued deeper and deeper into the cave that was route B.
"Can you sense it? That magical power in the distance" Romeo mentioned.
"Yeah, I can't tell who it is though, I just hope it isn't Gildarts" Bixlow added, as they rounded and soon found their opponent.
"I hope I'm not a disappointment to you two, or do you think that facing off against me will be easier?" remarked the she devil, Mirajane Strauss.
"Aw man, we're screwed" Romeo responded.
"She Devil! She Devil!" Bixlow's dolls responded.
"Gildarts, Erza, or even Laxus, nothing will stop me from becoming s-class!" Bixlow shouted back, almost insulted that he would hold back in a battle.
"Alright Romeo, you ready?" Bixlow shouted, ready to fight, Romeo nodded.
"Ok babies, combination attack, line of fire!" Bixlow then shouted, his dolls then lined up, together rushing towards Mirajane, Romeo then leaped up, landing on top of the dolls, ready to attack.
Then simultaneously Romeo shouted "rainbow fire!" and a massive multicolored ball of fire formed at Romeo's hands and shot towards Mirajane, at the same time as a cresent shaped green line came towards Mirajane.
The she-devil rolled her eyes and at first muttered "pathetic" then shouted "demon blast!" and two black spheres appeared in her hands, and aimed it towards the wizards and attacks coming to her.
The two spheres turned into beams, immediately neutralizing the wizards attacks, Romeo fell to the ground, and the dolls dispersed.
"You won't defeat us that easily!" Romeo remarked, catching his breath.
"Is that so? Then have some more demon blast" Mirajane smirked and remarked, two black beams shot from Mira's hands towards Bixlow.
"X formation babies!" Bixlow said.
"X X X!" the dolls shouted, forming into an X formation in front of Bixlow to block the shot. It worked but only partially, one of the beams hit Bixlow directly in the face shield, damaging it severely and knocking him, he grunted shaking his head some, Romeo was still down for the count.
"I didn't want to use this on you, but I have no choice!" Bixlow warned, "figure eyes" he said as he opened his eyes wide, and green light came from them.
"Your figure eyes only work on humans, not demons Bixlow, let's end this, demon blast!" Mirajane said, using her demon blast to knock out both of the wizards out.
Bixlow muttered "come on man, how did we get defeated".
"You tell me, you said nothing would stand in your way and she hasn't even moved" Romeo responded.
Mirajane changed back to her normal form, "you two both should rest, and then we'll head back to the basecamp", the others slowly nodded in agreement.
Romeo then asked "I wonder how the others are doing? Zeldris and Terra Mere?"
"So you're finally going to ask her out?" Bixlow teased.
Romeo blushed bright red, "at least she then hopefully won't sneak into my sleeping bag again".
Bixlow and Mira blushed bright red, then she muttered "I better have a talk with her".
Bixlow then changed the subject "I almost hope Freed doesn't get through, I'd kick myself if he did and I didn't".
"Aye sir" Romeo muttered, closing his eyes to relax.
