A bright blue aura emits from nothingness, then suddenly a man appears in front of Xena's bedroom chambers.

He knocks playfully "Xena, are you home? I'm knocking like you asked." Ares said with a smirk.

The door swings open, "Yes?" Ares looks at Xena fully clothed in her gear, her weapon in hand. Xena eyes the God of War up & down, wondering what he wants.

"It's time to forge your weapon, it looks like your ready to go... And you look healed."

Xena nods, "It appears I'm healing a bit faster than normal. Which is fine, I'll take it. Less downtime."

"Not what I was expecting, but it'll do. You're growing stronger every day, and I cannot imagine a better time than now to help you forge your weapon. Let us go." Ares said with intrigue and lust in his eyes as he eyed her up and down right back.

"This is the forge room; you must construct a weapon of your choosing. You must also imbue the metal with your blood, so it is uniquely yours. It will be a weapon only you can properly control and use with its full power."

Xena looked around the room, seeing pieces of ember's flying around the room as men were working away tirelessly to construct weapons. Clinking and banging could be heard as they were pounding away, forming it into their own images. Swords, shields, daggers, axes, polearms. She saw every kind of weapon that could be made. She was mesmerized at the sight of it all, thinking what a great addition they would make to an army that she will lead one day. She grinned with excitement as the possibilities coursed through her thoughts.

'I'm assuming you've constructed weapons before?" Ares said puzzled.

"Yes," Xena answered.

"Then I'll leave you to it. Remember to use the metal, and your blood to infuse the weapon." Ares said as a blue light emitted from his body, engulfing him until he was no more.

She already had an idea of what kind of weapon she wanted, something unique and different. Something that didn't resemble any type of weapon man would normally have. After all, she was no man, and she didn't often think of pointy objects and long shafts often. Her idea was a little more unique, a little more developed for her. A little more practical.

Xena got to work constructing the weapon she had envisioned; she poured her heart and soul into the making and design of it. With the special metal being formed and designed, making it in the temple of Ares, it was sure to be a once in a lifetime experience. She savored every moment as her knuckles began to bleed as she heated the metal in the furnace and pounded the metal out into a circular shape. Her blue eyes widened as she saw her hard work beginning to pay off.

She reached into her pouch that was clipped to her side and pulled out a few aquamarine jewels that held a special meaning to her. She placed them into the cooling metal, so shiny and clear that she could see herself in their reflection, as well as through them. She grinned with excitement as this was fun for her! Finally, she uncorked the vial of her blood and poured it into the metal in a circular motion, getting every drop out.

The blood formed into an edged shaped design in between each of the gemstones.

The place around her began to rumble, dust was falling from the stone room pouring over everything in its wake. Xena took a step back as she wasn't sure it was safe. Suddenly, the weapon raised from the platform she was using to pound out the metal and began to spin clockwise. A strange hue began to surround the weapon, and suddenly a white light began emitting from it! Xena looked in awe as she wasn't sure what was happening. The weapon suddenly jerked, and popped, and fell from the air. Xena caught it, not feeling any heat from the metal at all. She gazed upon it, noticing it had a strange dark design on it that seemed to perfectly align with the circular object. She felt an odd connection with it unlike anything she had ever held before. This was her weapon, and hers alone.

She grinned slightly, wanting to test it out. She swung the object and it flung across the room, hitting against objects but not stopping, until finally it bounced off a chain holding some weapons, destroying it by cutting through. The weapons fell to the ground with a crash. Her weapon suddenly jolted back to her! And the only thing Xena could do was catch it! "Oooooh, thats nice!" "My round killing thing... What should I name you I wonder..."

She smirked as she could feel the power of the weapon, and she began to walk out of the forge.

Xena entered the training ground, eager to test out her new weapon in action. Soldiers began pouring out into the grounds, drawing their swords and charging her.

Xena lifted her weapon up and swung it towards them, the weapon flung towards the warriors, hitting them on their helmets with such force, knocking them to the ground. As the weapon flung against a wall, it began to glide back to Xena. Only this time, Xena could feel the object, the strange connection wouldn't leave her, it was almost like she could tell the weapon what to do. She looked at the warriors beginning to get up off the floor, and she wanted to throw it at them again. Within a moment's notice, the weapon switched course and began hurling itself at them! Yet again bouncing off their helmets, knocking them all out. She was stunned at what had happened, not sure how she did it. She saw the weapon come flying at her yet again and caught it in midair.

Xena looked at the weapon puzzled, not sure what to make of what just had happened. The weapon seemed to listen to her. Unique indeed! Xena smiled big and held onto it with intrigue.

A blue energy emitted from the middle of the room, and Ares appeared. "I see you've become acquainted with your new weapon." He said smirking with delight.

"Yes, it's amazing. I love it Ares!"

"I'm glad. It's the perfect weapon for my future commander."

"What will you call it? Every good warrior gives their weapon a name."

"I will call it my Chakram."

Xena eyed Ares with daggers, grinning devilishly.

Ares saw the look in her eyes and drew his sword. "Don't you dare."

Xena threw her chakram at him!

Ares tried to parry the chakram, but his sword ended up getting knocked out of his hand. 'Very nice." He chuckled to himself as his mouth opened with lust in his eyes.

Xena caught the chakram and began snickering a bit. "Sorry, I had to give it a shot."

Ares looked at his protégé with lust and lowered his sword as he looked at his warrior princess.

Xena walked up to him and pressed her lips against his, rubbing her hands all over his face and unbuttoning his pristine leather top.

Warriors began waking up and stumbling to their feet. Xena stopped kissing Ares and grabbed her chakram and threw it towards the men standing. It flew towards them, hitting them on the helmet hard enough to knock them out once more. Then she directed it towards Ares and ducked as it slammed in his chest, making him fly backwards crashing to the ground and dropping his sword. He lodged it out of his chest where it pierced the skin and threw it back at her. Xena caught it with one hand and looked at the God of War on the ground and began to grin a bit.

Ares raised himself off the ground and the wound healed on his chest. Ares grinned and picked up his sword. "I think you're ready to do a mission for me."

Xena's eyes glued to Ares, "Oh?"

"Theres a town not far from here I want you to seize. It used to belong to me until a warlord overtook it... He ransacked a temple I had there, I want you to take it back. Use whatever force is necessary. Let them pay for what they did and those who would defy me!"

"When?"

"I'll leave that up to you, but I want it done soon. Take some of my army and get the job done." Ares said in a very commanding tone. "It's about a day's ride from here, an old friend of yours will show you where to go."

"What's the name of the town?"

"Potidaea"

"Done, I'll leave tonight."
