Luz tapped her foot. She was waiting for Eda and King to leave so her friends and... whatever Boscha and her gang count as, can come out of hiding.
"Alright, listen Luz, King and I will probably be gone the rest of the night. I need this elixir or... well, you've seen what happens." Eda said.
"Wait, how come you don't just let me use my Waterbending? It's a full moon and my Waterbending will be at its strongest."
"Look, I appreciate the offer, but remember how exhausted you were last time you did that? I can't have something like that happening very often, it could be bad for your health. Besides, you're not always going to be here, so in the event that my curse acts up again while you're out, I need to get more elixirs."
"Okay then, I won't keep you, better get going."
Eda stared at her suspiciously.
"You're hiding something. You're doing that thing where you hide in your hoodie."
"Meow, I'm not." Luz removed her hood, "Uh, where's King?"
"He's right here." Eda said, opening her cloak, showing the out cold demon, "His little body just conks right out when he's weightless. Look at this."
Eda moves around, letting King just dangle.
"Aw, he's so dangly." Luz said, playing with King's feet.
Eda walked outside and was about to go, before she turned around and looked at Luz.
"One last thing. If anything happens to my house, I will never trust you again." She said sternly, "No pressure!"
Eda flew away on her staff and Luz bounced on her heels for a second.
"I'm... sure everything will be fine." Luz said, "She's gone!"
"Release!" Willow said.
The leaves they were using to hide, disappeared and her and Gus stood up.
"I'm a sneaky, sneaker!" Willow said, cheerfully.
"I have leaves in my pants, and I like it!" Gus said.
Behind Luz; Boscha, Skara, Amity, Kat, and Amelia came out of the bushes. Amity walked up to Luz and introduced Amelia.
"Luz, this is Amelia, she's one of my friends. She's in the Plant Track... for some reason."
"I like plants, okay?" Amelia said.
"How many times have you been close to being eaten by one this week?"
Amelia rubbed her arm and looked away.
"Thirteen times." Amelia said, "But besides that. Hi, Avatar. I was at the Covention, and saw what you did. I'm a big fan. C-c-can I see your Bending?"
"Yeah, Luz, you said your Waterbending was at its strongest during the full moon." Willow said.
"Well, I guess I could show you guys something." Luz said, walking over to the cliff edge.
Luz let out a breath and put her hands near the ground. She looked back at them with a smile and quickly raised her hands. A giant wall of water rose and they group was amazed. Luz moved her hands and sent to the water back out to sea. She looked at them and smiled widely.
"So, can we get on with the conjuring?" Luz asked.
Luz walked up to the door and ignored Hooty.
"Welcome to the Living Room." Luz said, "We call it that because it's technically living. The walls are breathing."
Willow and Skara walked up to the wall.
"Enchanting." Willow said.
Amity looked around.
"So, this is the Owl House?" Amity asked.
"Yep!"
"And you... sleep here?"
"When the night creatures allow me to." Luz said, before walking over to Willow, "So, how do we do this?"
"Well-"
"Why don't you ask someone who is good at magic?" Boscha asked in a snarky tone.
Willow looked down and Luz got annoyed.
"Listen here, everyone will be on their best behavior. We're all going to be nice to each other and be friends." She put two fingers up and pointed them at Boscha, "Got it?"
Boscha, knowing exactly what she can do with those, just nodded. Luz put her fingers down and smiled.
"Good. Willow, keep explaining."
"Thank you. First, we need something to animate. Since it's our first one, we should pick something... beautiful." Willow said, looking at a plant that Amelia was amazed with.
Gus knocks the plant out of the way and holds up an action figure.
"Like this beefy little dude?" He asked.
"I like it." Luz said.
"If the Avatar likes it, then I like it." Boscha said.
Willow knew she wasn't going to get anyone on her side, maybe Amelia, but other than that, no one.
"Fine. Let's get started."
They put it on the ground and hold hands.
"Okay, from what I've read, we hold hands and speak an incantation. It should allow us to animate the doll."
"Figurine." Gus mumbled.
They close their eyes and start to say the incantation.
"Moonlight, we call, we sing. Moonlight take this chance. Moonlight come tie the string. Moonlight start the dance!"
Meanwhile, Luz was... trying her best.
"Moonlight tie... string... and I don't know the words!"
The house started shaking and a blue light emitted from the group. They open their eyes and look at the toy.
"Did it work?" Luz asked.
"I... don't know." Skara said.
The house started shaking again they all fell down from it.
"W-w-what's going on?" Kat asked.
Luz ran to the door and opened it.
"Uh, guys, do all houses have legs here?"
