I'm not proud of this chapter, it's lackluster compared to the others.

Luz looked at Boscha with confusion.

"Why does the Bat Queen have a problem with your family?"

"It kind of started with my grandfather. He cut down a part of the woods to make a factory and it was the Bat Queen's home, so she isn't too keen on my family."

"Well, she's the only one that can help me, so are you coming with me or not?" Luz asked.

"You, the Avatar, are asking me to go on an adventure with you?" Boscha asked, "Excuse me one minute."

Boscha left the room and Luz heard a faint cheer from another room. Luz couldn't help but smile at how excited Boscha was. Boscha came back in, her potion in one hand and a covered bird cage in the other.

"What's that?" Luz asked.

"Something that needs a good home." Boscha said, "Come on, I know the way."

Luz followed Boscha and they found a large area full of bones.

"That's a lot of bones." Luz said, "Uh, Miss Bat Queen? Are you here?"

From a distance, Golden Guard watched them. He pulled out a mirror and opened it.

"The Avatar has met up with the Triplet daughter and they're going to the Bat Queen. Should I intervein?"

"No, until the Avatar is in immediate danger, just procced to watch her. This could be a great way to see how the Avatar can handle this."

"Understood."

Golden Guard put the mirror away. He disappeared into the trees. Luz looked at Boscha as they got closer.

"So, what are the odds that this goes wrong?"

Boscha was about say something when a loud roar echoed in the forest. Boscha dropped her potion. She looked at the shattered bottle on the ground and then looked at Luz.

"Very likely." Boscha said.

Luz went to look at what that noise was and saw Demon Hunter's attacking a demon. Luz needed to get Boscha away from them.

"So, I think we should- Boscha, you're growing scales."

Boscha touched her cheek, where a small patch of pink scales replaced her skin, and her eyes widened.

"I don't have my potion anymore; we need to go!"

The two started to move faster until they were at the start of the Bat Queen's home. They looked nervous. They heard something coming towards them and Luz got ready to Firebend. The thing that was coming... was the Bat Queen's babies. Luz put her hands down and started laughing as they flew around her head. Luz looked up and saw the Bat Queen.

"Just who I was looking for. Glad to see your babies seem fine."

"Wish I had time to talk." Bat Queen said, "Demon Hunter looking for my home."

Bat Queen looked at Boscha.

"I know you." Bat Queen said, "Your family cause me great pain."

"I'm not like my family." Boscha said, "And I can prove it. I'll get the Demon Hunters away from your home."

Boscha put the cage down.

"I've heard legends about you. You protect Palisman, right?" Boscha pulled the sheet off, "Well, I know one that needs protecting."

The cage had a crab palisman.

"I found her injured, outside of my house." Boscha said, "I've been trying to keep her safe to the best of my ability."

Boscha and Luz went to the demon hunters and waited.

"You'll be alright?" Luz asked.

"As long as I don't use to many of my powers, I should have a good grip on my demon side."

Boscha brought out her claws and looked at Luz.

"Let's go."

Boscha sprinted out and tackled one. Lu ran out and used her Earthbending to trap their legs. Boscha grabbed the main one and looked at them with her sharp teeth exposed.

"Leave and never come back." Boscha said.

"You think we're scared of you?" He asked.

"Maybe not, but that's because you don't know me." Boscha said.

She swiped at his face and cut off skin. She continued to do so until they were dead. Luz and the other Demon Hunters looked horrified. Luz let them go and they all ran away.

"B-B-Boscha?"

Boscha looked at Luz and growled.

"Oh no." Luz said, "Boscha, it's me, the Avatar, your friend."

Boscha walked over to her on all fours. Luz put her hands out.

"Boscha, don't make me hurt you." Luz put two fingers out, "Fine."

Luz shot Lightning right next to her and used the distraction to run. Luz knew it wouldn't take long for Boscha to catch up. Boscha managed to tackle her and raised her claws. She was stopped when the crab palisman got in the way. Boscha stared at the palisman, seemingly recognizing her."

A blue potion was shoved in her mouth by the Bat Queen and she returned to normal. Boscha passed out and when she woke up, she saw Luz looking through a book.

"Boscha, I just learned so much!" Luz said, "The Bat Queen has a book that isn't damaged! I'm going to go through it when I get home! I also found out that she was a Palisman! That's why she cares about them so much!"

Boscha gets up and saw the Bat Queen.

"You are different from your family. You showed that you care about life."

"But... I killed that man."

"And you saved others from death by his hands." Bat Queen said, "You want me to protect the Palisman, but I think she found her home."

Boscha looked over and saw a staff, with the Crab palisman on it.

"Her name is Maya, you and her are together." She said, "Take care of her."

Elsewhere, a man walked up to someone with pages in his hands.

"Sir, I brought all the pages of this demon. I took them from every known book on the Isles."

The man grabbed the pages and smirked.

"Excellent. Now we can find this demon."

I'm taking a few days off from fanfiction. I'm starting to get burn out and I don't want my stories to suffer because of it. So, those that recognized the demons from the previous chapter, congrats. To those that didn't know, I'll give you a reminder, they were the demons from "What Happened" along with several redacted ones (Styll, Sixx, Lava Gators, and Hell Raptors).
