Caine watched as the Basilisk walked up the stairs to meet Principal Bump.
"Ah, inspector, I am glad to see you arrived safely. There are so many things to show you. I even have a demonstration for each Track." Bump said.
"Sounds wonderful. I even hear you have the Avatar enrolled here, is that true?"
Bump had a blank expression.
"We shall talk about the Avatar later, right now, I want to show you how the up and coming witches are doing."
The Basilisk followed Bump inside, much to Caine's delight.
"This we be a very fun day." He said.
He felt someone pop up behind him and hit him in the back. Caine stumble forward and turned around.
"Well, if this isn't a surprised." Caine said.
Hunter gripped his staff tight in his hands. Caine stood up and looked at him.
"The Infamous Golden Guard, himself. This is a good day, I can prove that I am stronger than anyone of the Coven."
Caine used basic Firebending strikes on Hunter, which he dodged with help from his staff. Caine smiled, which made Hunter confused.
"What's so amusing?" Hunter asked.
"You are. You think I don't know about your inability to do magic?" He asked, "Why don't I show you what a real witch can do."
Caine made an orange spell circle and used a powerful light spell to make a blast of light hit Hunter, temporarily blinding him. Caine ran at him and hit Hunter hard in the stomach. Hunter hunched over and tried to get the air back in his lungs. Before Hunter could do anything, he was hit three time hard punches to the jaw. Caine grabbed Hunter by the head and jumped up, hitting Hunter with his knee, breaking Hunter's nose with ease. Hunter bit back a scream as his nose made a loud crunch. Caine let go and Hunter fell on his back. Caine smiled at him.
"You have some skill, I won't lie, but you have no magic, no way to fight back."
Hunter got up and spun his staff.
"If you think I'm done yet, then you're just as dumb as you look." Hunter said.
Hunter used his staff and teleported behind Caine. He hit Caine with his staff, sending him a few feet forward. Caine turned around and sent a powerful Firebending strike at him. Hunter teleported out of the way and hit him with a hard kick to the side. When Caine tried to attack him again, Hunter pulled the same teleporting trick, this time, teleporting into the sky. He used his staff to gain a speed boost and hit Caine with his staff. Caine was knocked to the ground and got on a knee. He breathed heavily before growling.
"That's it, I'm done playing around!" Caine said.
He rushed at Hunter so fast, that Hunter barely had time to blink. He delivered several strong punches to Hunter's stomach, before hitting him across the jaw three times. He hit Hunter in the eye, which knocked him to the ground. Hunter tried to get up, only to get a strong kick to the ribs. Hunter laid on the ground, groaning from four broken ribs, a broken jaw, broken nose, and a black eye. He coughed up blood. A lot of blood. He reached out to his staff, only for Caine to step on his hand.
"You remind me a lot of your mother." Caine said, "Weak. Pathetic. Worthless. Maybe, if she got rid of you, she would still be alive."
He began to walk away. Hunter felt something snap and gained enough strength to get up. He shot his arm out and a strong blast of fire was aimed at the back of Caine's head. Caine avoided it and turned back to Hunter, still having the same stupid smirk that Hunter wanted to hit off.
"Now, that's more like it." Caine said, "Come on, Son, show daddy what you can really do."
Hunter ran at him and tried to hit him with fire. Caine easily dodged the strikes and didn't land a single hit on Hunter. He watched, waited for Hunter to get tired. Hunter was starting to feel pain creep up on him, adrenalin only going so far. Hunter's movement became sloppy and his Firebending became weak. This is what Caine needed. He watched as Hunter tried to use his Firebending to hit Caine's head. Caine dodged it and grabbed Hunter's arm. He struck it several times and Hunter's arm went limp. He gave Hunter one last punch, this time, knocking him to the ground.
"Not bad, but your dear old dad has had a long time to master this." Caine said.
He began to move his arms, generating Lightning and aimed at Hunter's head. Before he could blast him, Rascal started to attack his head, causing him to send the lightning just above Hunter, and hitting a tree. He began to smack the bird palisman in attempt to get rid of it, when an invisible force knocked him far away. He only knew one person that could do something like that.
"Hello, Philip." Caine said, getting up, "What, no hug for your older brother?"
"Shut up." Belos said.
Caine shot Lightning at Belos and he just melted into the ground, reemerging behind him. Belos placed a hand on Caine's shoulder, turned him around, and then punched him.
"That was for what you did to my Nephew." Belos said.
Caine growled and started to Firebend at Belos. Belos was able to dodge easily for someone of his side. Managing to flip and dodge each blast of fire.
"Typical." Caine said, "Avoid and dodge."
Caine used his Firebending to gain a powerful boost. He used the boost to hit Belos with a strong kick to the head, breaking off Belos mask. Belos looked up at him and looked angry.
"You want to see me fight? Fine." Belos stood up, "I'll show you why I have my arrow tattoo."
Belos moved his arms and sent a massive gust of wind at Caine, sending him flying back. Caine barely had a chance to look up before the Airbending Master sent more wind at him. Caine was knocked back with each one. He looked at Belos and saw him ready to perform a spell.
"You got stronger." Caine said, "I look forward to our rematch."
Caine teleported out and Belos went to Hunter. He picked him up and knew immediately that he needed to get him back to the castle. He looked at Hexside and saw the Avatar and her friends come out, with multiple track uniforms. On a normal day, he would have a chat with Bump, but he lost the ability to care right now. Besides, it was unlikely they would join Caine.
"I don't even care at this point." He said, noticing something, "A Palisman?"
Belos picked the staff up and looked at it.
"I know exactly what to do with you." He said, teleporting back to the castle.
Eda landed outside and looked at Luz.
"Something wrong, Kid?"
"I... I saw something." Luz said, "I saw that symbol again. This time... I saw a vision."
Eda paled.
"Let's get home. We can discuss this more there."
