Chapter Five
Chaos Dawns
(Unknown location)
Apollo followed behind the black-garbed Duelist who had approached him and The Shadow after the tournament, saying that his superior wanted to talk to them. They passed by a fourth individual, dressed in a red jacket and flaming hat, who followed as well. When they entered the next room, the black-garbed Duelist bowed humbly to the cloaked figure in the middle of the room. "My Lord, I've brought them as requested." The figure spoke. "Well done, Striker. Send out The Agent to confirm what we have learned about Akiru Hirasu." Striker bowed humbly and left.
The figure then addressed the three Duelists that Striker had led to him. "I am certain that you are curious as to why I have summoned you." Apollo nodded. "I am, but I feel that introductions should be made first, if you don't mind." The figure nodded. "That is quite agreeable." Apollo replied, "My name is Apollo Agrotera, future American champion." The figure replied, "Your pride may be your undoing, Apollo Agrotera." The Shadow glanced at Apollo under his mask, and said, "I'm called The Shadow." The figure replied, "Ah, I've heard of you. A master of dark monsters."
The third Duelist spoke up. "I'm Henry Johnson." The figure replied, "I have not heard of you, but that means nothing." Turning to face them at last, the figure revealed its face, which had a ghostly appearance, pale white, dressed in all black robes, a cloak, black gloves, and black boots. All three gasped in shock. The figure spoke again. "I am Chaos, ruler over the Realm of Despair, and conqueror of the Realms of Sorrow and Destruction." His empty eyes faced each of them. "But you may call me Lord Chaos."
The Shadow recovered from his shock first. "I'm guessing you want us to join you, Lord Chaos?" Chaos nodded. "That is correct. And I have an incentive for you to consider. I will offer each of you a powerful Xyz monster, more powerful than most cards you would have access to." All three looked at each other, then back at him. "What kind of Xyz monsters?" Chaos held up three cards. "Three of the seven Numbers Over One Hundred." Apollo spoke up. "Numbers Over One Hundred? I've heard of them, but I thought they were a myth."
Chaos faced him. "Then you have much to learn. These cards are very real." He handed one to Apollo. "Will you join my servants, as a Follower of Chaos?" Apollo thought it over for a moment, then said, "I pledge myself to your service, Lord Chaos." He accepted the card, and looked it over. "Hmm..." Chaos then faced The Shadow and asked, "What is your decision?" The Shadow replied, "Are any of them Dark monsters? I'm only asking because of how my deck is built."
Chaos answered, "None of them are Dark monsters in their normal forms, but the seven Numbers Over One Hundred have a potential that most Xyz monsters do not have." The Shadow nodded, then said, "I pledge myself to your service, Lord Chaos." Henry Johnson spoke up. "I pledge myself to your service, Lord Chaos." Chaos faced him. "Excellent." Handing him the last card, he said, "Bear it well." Henry bowed, as did the other two.
(Crystal Village, 2 hours later)
Akiru sat on a swing looking at the card he'd earned in the tournament, a card he'd never heard of. 'Rank-Up-Magic?' As he looked it over, he heard footsteps, and looked at a person dressed in a black cloak staring at him. Cocking his head, Akiru asked, "Can I help you?" The other Duelist held up a Duel Disk Akiru had never seen before. "What?" The Duelist spoke. "I've been looking for you, Akiru Hirasu. Prepare yourself for a Duel unlike anything you've seen before!" Akiru replied, "You got a name?" The Duelist answered, "I'm The Agent, and I've come for your Number Over One Hundred!"
Akiru stared at him in shock. "How the hell do you know about that?" The Agent replied, "Duel me to find out!" He activated his Duel Disk*, and took position. Akiru sighed, activating his own Duel Disk, and faced his opponent. "I hope you know what you're getting into." Both drew their five cards.

The Agent drew his card, then said, "I'll start off by activating the Field Spell The Sanctuary in the Sky!" As a heavenly paradise appeared, Akiru rolled his eyes. "You're using an Agent Fairy deck, then?" The Agent continued. "I'll also activate Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen, and use its effect right away. During my Main Phase, I can Special Summon a Fairy-type monster from my hand as long as I control no monsters. I'll Summon The Agent of Miracles- Jupiter!"

The Agent then selected another card in his hand. "I'll now activate the ability of The Agent of Entrophy- Uranus in my hand! While I control The Sanctuary in the Sky, I can Special Summon Uranus to the field!"

Akiru's eyes widened. 'The archtype must have gotten an upgrade since I last checked, because I've never heard of that monster before.' "I'll now activate Uranus' second ability! I can send an "Agent" monster from my deck straight to the Graveyard to have Uranus become that monster's level! I'll send The Agent of Wisdom- Mercury to put Uranus at level 4!"

Akiru narrowed his eyes. "Two level 4 monsters..." The Agent continued. "I Overlay level 4 Jupiter and Uranus, to Xyz Summon Fairy Cheer Girl!" A fairy-like cheerleader appeared, shaking her pom poms and cheering.

Akiru's jaw dropped. "Wha-? Of all the monsters to choose, why that one? I have plenty of monsters that can beat that card!" The Agent replied, "Because I can now activate a card unlike anything you've seen before, Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force!" Akiru looked at him. "Rank-Up-Magic?" The Agent began to explain. "This Spell Card lets me take one Xyz monster I control, and use it as the Overlay Unit to Xyz Summon a Chaos Xyz monster from my Extra Deck, as long as it's the same type as the Xyz monster that I use to Summon it, but it's one Rank higher!"
Fairy Cheer Girl was enveloped in red energy, and shot upward as The Agent continued. "Using Fairy Cheer Girl, I rebuild the Overlay Network! Chaos Xyz Evolution!" Akiru's eyes widened as dark green energy began to flood into the portal that Fairy Cheer Girl had just entered. "Appear, Chaos Xyz Dark Fairy Cheer Girl!" As the portal exploded, a sinister-looking fairy appeared, holding a scepter.

Akiru stared in shock. "Chaos Xyz...?" The Agent spoke again. "You're up against a weapon forged by my master, Lord Chaos! I end my turn!"
Akiru drew his card, and was shocked by what he drew. 'The Rank-Up-Magic card from the tournament. Do I dare use it?' Looking at Dark Fairy Cheer Girl again, he made his decision. "First, I'll Summon my Trident Warrior!"

"Next, through his ability, I can Summon Shine Knight to the field in Defense Mode!"

The Agent was confused. "How did its level go up?" Akiru answered. "When Shine Knight is in Defense Mode, he becomes level 4. "I'll activate Level Lifter, discarding my Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord to have both of my monsters rise from level 4 to level 8!"

The Agent panicked. 'He does have it! The most powerful one!' Akiru continued. "I Overlay Trident Warrior and Shine Knight! With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network!" Closing his eyes, he said, "May our enemies be enveloped in eternal twilight! I Xyz Summon Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon!" A large crystal-like object rose from the portal, with red and blue gems, before transforming into a mechanical dragon, which let out a blood-curdling roar.

Akiru continued. "Now, I activate the Spell Card Rank-Up-Magic Quick Chaos!" The Agent gasped. "What?!" Akiru continued. "With this card, I can use Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon to Summon a Chaos Xyz of my own! Using Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon, I rebuild the Overlay Network! Chaos Xyz Evolution!" As Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon transformed into its sealed form and flew into the portal, it exploded from the energy, as Akiru continued the Summoning. "Stand firm, guardian of the flow of time! Chaos Number 107: Neo-Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon!"
A golden pendant shaped object appeared, and transformed into a golden mechanical dragon with three heads, roaring in defiance at its enemy.

The Agent panicked. "Numbers Over One Hundred can evolve?!" Akiru continued. "I activate Neo-Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon's ability! By using one Overlay Unit, for the rest of this turn, all face-up cards on the field have their effects negated, except for Neo-Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon, and my opponent is not allowed to activate any cards or effects!" The Agent gasped in fear. "What?!"

Akiru made his command. "Neo-Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon, attack Dark Fairy Cheer Girl! Ultimate Tachyon Spiral of Destruction!" As the dragon prepared to unleash its attack, Akiru revealed his last card. "By discarding Honest from my hand, Neo-Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon gains Attack Points equal to Dark Fairy Cheer Girl's, until the end of the turn!" The Agent's eyes widened. "No!"

The Agent screamed as his monster was destroyed and he was bombarded with the dragon's attack.

Akiru stared in shock as his opponent vanished from sight, leaving only a card laying on the ground. Picking it up, he found that it was Barian's Force. Looking it over, he looked at where The Agent had been standing, and went to see Artemis, wondering what had happened.

Numbers Over One Hundred are powerful enough in their normal forms, but in their Chaos Forms, they're even more dangerous.
