Everything is set on place, Caroline has collected the werewolf venom from the Lockwoods, Bonnie has prepared a room where Damon's supernatural strength would be reduced to a human one, now all that is left, is to lure Damon here. The girls are still speculating a way which would not make it too obvious, they're on to it when one day Logan Fell shows up as a vampire, he offers Caroline Forbes a lift, as soon as she enters, he hits her head to the glass window, making her bleed, making her faint and then calling her mother and telling her, "Let's see how you feel after I turn your daughter into a vampire."
When Caroline wakes up, she finds herself near a pile of bodies, the room is dark, there is no sunlight, but the bunch of bodies is enough to tell her that wherever she is, she is not safe. She looks into her purse but Logan shows up showing her a phone, "Looking for this Caroline."
"I thought you were giving me a lift" she says while stepping back, Logan takes slow steps towards her telling her, "Oh see, I am not how I used to be, I died and turned into a vampire, when I woke up, your mother Liz treated me so bad, I am just returning her a favor."
Caroline's back touches the wall and she knows she cannot walk further behind, "What are you going to do to me?" she asks, but her hands have instinctively moved to her pockets and not her purse.
"Oh I am not going to kill you, I am going to make you into a thing your mother hates the most, I am going to turn you into a vampire." With this Logan opens his fangs and jumps towards her to attack her but soon Logan is the screaming when Caroline Forbes takes out her vervain spray bottle and sprays it on his eyes.
When Logan is covering his eyes, waiting to heal from the assault, Caroline Forbes uses this time to take out a wooden stake from her purse and just when Logan has recovered, as he turns around to attack Caroline again, Caroline has shoved the stake in his heart. Logan watches wide eyed as soon his skin turns to grey, and he drops to the ground, dead. Caroline takes the phone from Logan's dead hands and calls her mother, "Mom, I am fine, he was a vampire, I killed him."
Liz takes a sigh of relief, "Oh honey I was so worried, you took down a vampire by yourself, I am so proud my dear, tell me where you are, we're coming to get you."
"Mom, can I stay the night at Bonnie's"
"No, not tonight, you almost died tonight, I want you to be near me."
"Okay, but I don't know where I am"
"No worries sweetheart, we'll track this number. Stay put."
Caroline hears the door break open and it's Damon, Damon Salvatore, he walks up to her and she so much wants to shove this stake into his heart but controls her urge to do it, thinking death would be too kind for what he did to her. In a minute Damon is standing next to her, he crouches down to take a look at the vampire and then he is next to her, "Blondie, how did you know about vampires."
"I have been reading old journals of the founding families and also have been analyzing the news reports, five bodies, drained of blood, no other injury except for a bite in the neck, let's just say I put two and two together."
"Is Logan the only vampire or do you know more of them" Damon questions her.
Caroline gives him a fake smile and tells him, "None that I know of, also he abducted me and he was going to kill me, ever since I read those news reports and journals I have been keeping a stake in my purse in case I ever get into trouble with vampires."
"Okay, come on let me get you home."
Caroline gives him a fake smile, "No thanks, I'll walk."
Damon grabs her wrist and pulls her towards him and she so much wants to slap him and chop this hand off, but then she sees Damon is trying to compel her, so she acts being compelled, "Walk home with me, I have to know what the sheriff has planned for the vampire problem." She does so.
The start Caroline's night was horrible but in the end, she felt a bit of strength by first time standing for herself, it rose confidence in her for the time when she is going to put Damon to an end, she was smiling, she was happy and she was proud, proud of herself.
Caroline was not the only one who achieved something this night, Bonnie too. Bonnie Bennett knew that taking down Damon would be head on taking enmity with Stefan; she knew she needed allies and she got one on her trip to Georgia. Grams and Bonnie were at Bree's bar. When they shared their intention to take down Damon wronging her friend, Bree said, "Damon killed Lexi, Lexi was my friend, I would do what it takes to help, I would also like to add one more ally to your cause."
The meet him outside the bar, Bree introduces him to them, "Bonnie, Sheila, meet Lee, he is Lexi's boyfriend, the love of his life was killed by Damon Salvatore."
Lee, "Take me to him, I will set him on fire and watch him burn just as he burned my world to ashes."
Bonnie, "As much as we appreciate your will, I and my friends have decided to tear him apart first, before we kill him, because death would be far too kind, for a man who uses and abuses women for fun."
Lee, "I am in."
On their way back, Bonnie tells him in the car about the werewolf venom and that they haven't yet decided the way to end him.
Lee, "Put the venom in a syringe, I'll inject him myself and I will bring him to the torture room you have made." When both Bonnie and Sheila look at him through the mirror in the car, he adds, "Your friend Caroline will get a chance too, to avenge her dignity."
While Bonnie and Caroline were successful in how they handled their stuff, Elena was not so much, Elena was still in love with Stefan and when Stefan showed up in the morning to tell her that he stayed behind to look after her once he knew there was a new vampire in town, Elena was feeling guilty, not about hurting Damon, he deserved what he was going to get, but her guilt was towards fooling Stefan, she had to end things with him and she did, she was the only one wallowing alone in her room after she bid adieu to Stefan. She knew Stefan would leave town the next day making it easier for them to take down Damon but she also knew that now she would be alone.
It happens as planned, Stefan leaves town, Lee injects Damon with the werewolf venom and they get him to the room where they would make him pay for his sins. The first attack is from Caroline as she severs the fingers he was wearing the daylight ring in. The second is from Lee as he removes the curtain and watches him burn as the sun rays hit him.
Bonnie and Sheila were outside the room hearing the voices and as back up just in case things go downwards. Elena was back in the cemetery, writing her diary but then she realizes that if she writes this truth in her diary and someday someone reads it, especially Stefan, then it would bring death to all she loves, she keeps the diary back in her bag and goes to the Grill to keep herself busy.
Back to the torture room, Caroline walks in with an axe, "You remember Damon when I tried to leave the next morning how threw me on the bed and fed on me, slept with me all those times again when I clearly didn't want to."
Damon mocks her, "What do you want, an apology, you're not going to get it blondie, in fact, I would very much like to…"
Words are off of his mouth when Lee tears his tongue out, "See I don't like the sound of your voice."
Once Lee has thrown his tongue in the sun, which burnt, Caroline turns to Damon and says, "The way I kept saying no and you didn't hear a word, the same way, I will make you say no, but I wouldn't stop it."
She looks at Lee and asks, "Open the curtains, once his clothes are burnt, shut them." He does, he shuts the curtains when all of Damon's clothes are ripped. Caroline recalls being fucked by him again and again, against her will, the urge to chop off his neck is more but death would be too kind, that is the thought that helps her control the urge.
She slightly touches the tip of the axe on his chest, "Do it blondie" he says with the newly grown tongue of his. Caroline smiles and says, "Good, so now that your tongue is back, you can scream"
She lifts the axe up and Damon thinks this is his end but he screams the loudest he has in his life when she chops off his dick. She waits and watches him writhe in pain, twisting here and there in the chair they have tied him to.
While Caroline watches the effect of her attack, Lee takes his chance, it is the same for him, the urge to rip his heart out or chop his head off but he opts for the arms instead. He tears one arm and then the other and to make sure he doesn't get up when the new arm grows, he shoves an iron rod into his stomach, when it pierces through his back and comes out from the other side of the chair he twists it so that Damon now stays stuck.
Damon's screams while all this happened was music to his ears. Caroline recalls all those dirty touches she felt while he was abusing her. She goes into the bathroom and comes out with a tap. "You're going to shower me blondie" Damon laughs but Damon doesn't know that Caroline has put vervain in the water supply so when she asks Lee to turn on the pipe and the water pours on him, it is vervain water and there Damon screams, she watches him burn, the same way he watches her when she was under him, under his control.
Lee stops the water, "Why did you do that?" Caroline asks but then smiles when she sees him bringing barbed wire, he throws rubber gloves to her, "Wear them, you don't want get electrocuted yourself when you do get yourself justice."
She does, once she wears gloves, he turns on the water again, Lee wraps the wire in a wooden stick and puts the stick in Damon's chest, this time when water runs on him, it isn't just vervain, it's vervain, electrocution, and the venom which is spreading more fiercely than ever.
They torture him until his scream fades and they believe him to have fainted, for once they even believe Damon is dead, they throw the wire and the vervain pipe away. Caroline and Lee are looking down the window and talking lightly when Damon wakes up, he slips his daylight ring from the severed finger and it is only when he rips Lee's heart out does Caroline scream realizing he is up and alive.
Damon walks like a predator towards Caroline but hearing her scream Sheila Bennett entered and she gave Damon an aneurysm, Caroline ran towards where she left the axe, Damon was up and going to attack Sheila when Caroline chops his head off with the axe from behind .
