Dallas: School For Gifted Children: Principal's Office
Jenna storms into the principal's office, "Where is she?" the principal turns around in his rolling chair surprised at the reaction of this woman, "Where's who?"
Jenna bangs her palm on his desk, "My niece, where is she?" the principal looks at her hand and then at her, being a warlock, he senses it, that she is somehow related to the girl who just had an accident last night, "She is in the city hospital, the school gave you the address for that, what surprises me is why are you here?"
He opens the school's official mail and turns the screen to show to Jenna, "See, we officially sent you the detail, even her ward no. is mentioned in here."
That doesn't alleviate Jenna anger, in fact she becomes even more furious and tells the principal, "No, she is not, I went to the hospital to see her, and you know what I got from there, they told me that she had been discharged, so I came here and I was told by the warden that she is still in the hospital, she didn't return. Where is she?"
The warlock, the senior Martin witch, he tilts his head, he knows that Elijah cannot be so careless, he picks his phone, tells Jenna, "Just a second, I'll ask the director of the school if he had her discharged from the hospital, maybe there is some miscommunication over here."
Jenna folds her arms under her chest purses her lips, blinks back her tears, which she hadn't realized were pooling up because of her concern for her beloved niece. The principal rings Elijah but the call goes straight to voice mail and he says, "Elijah did you get Elena out of the hospital, her aunt is here, worried about her, call me once you get this voice mail."
An hour passes but no response comes from Elijah, Jenna had been waiting in the office seated on a couch, as requested by the principal, but now she was even more worried that where could her niece be, she gets up, wipes the tears which were constantly rolling down her eyes, she heaves, then takes her cell phone out.
"What do you think you're doing?" asks the principal, who had till now been observing the activities in the school via the LIVE cctv.
"Taking action" Jenna says, "I am calling the cops, my niece is missing and I won't sit back and do nothing."
The principal casts a spell such that there is no network in Jenna's phone, he gets up and walks to her and says, "How about, I accompany you to the hospital and we look for her together."
Jenna gives him a death stare and says, "If it's just because I said I was calling the cops then know this, if you are some how responsible for my niece's disappearance, I will take away everything you have."
The Warlock smiles, "I admire your bravery, what I even admire more is your love and care for your niece. So here, let me introduce myself to you."
He forwards his hand, "Hi, my name is Jonas Martin and I will do everything in my power to help you get your niece back, no matter where she is." He smiles, and secretly hopes, maybe helping her get niece back would open a way for him to get his daughter back.
Jenna looks at his forwarded hand and then at his face and says, "I will shake hands with you once I get my niece back, safe and sound, if not, I will putting you and the entire management behind the bars."
Jonas chuckles, "So, are you driving to the hospital or would you join me in my car"
Jenna, "Why would I drive to the hospital, I just came from there, she is not there."
Jonas, "Because she was there, the director of this school, drove her there himself, he was the one who filled the forms, so I think if your niece is missing then we should start looking from the place where she was last seen."
Dallas City Hospital
Jenna and Jonas are at the reception, a nurse tells them that Elena had been discharged earlier and she is not here not anymore.
Jonas questions the nurse, "Who got her discharged, I want to see the discharge papers"
The nurse opens the file and says, "Oh, her mother was the one who got her discharged." Jenna's face goes blank, Jonas turns to her and says, "See, easy as that, your sister got her discharged and you didn't even know, I think the miscommunication happened on your end because you created so much fuss for nothing." He even picks up the file and shows it to her.
Jenna takes the file and without even looking throws it away, she tells Martin, "Elena's mother is dead, 23rd May, 2009, their car went down the wikery bridge, she lost both her parents in that accident, don't you see, someone pretended to be her mother and took her away."
She yells at the staff, "Don't you people check the id of someone, who was there to confirm that she was her mother or not, I will sue you, I will get this hospital shut, I am calling the cops."
"Jenna, Jenna, calm down" Martin tells her, lightly patting her back, Jenna turns to him, "You're asking me to calm down, look what has happened, there was gross negligence on behalf of the hospital, on behalf of the school, on behalf of everyone, the only person who suffers is me, I am the one suffering, my niece went missing because of all of you and you're asking me to calm down, I won't."
Martin understands the pain, after all, his daughter went missing one day too, he knows that she is not going to calm down but he is determined to get her reunited with her niece and the first step to that is calming her down, so without asking her permission, he gently pats her back while casting a calming spell on her, which calms down Jenna enough.
He agrees to the part of gross negligence on behalf of the hospital but he knows that about this world which Jenna does not, he knows about the creatures of the night who could compel anyone. He calms Jenna and takes her to his car.
"Why did you bring me here, I have to go to the police station, I have to file a missing complaint."
"Jenna do you want to spend more time in finding her or waste much of it in explaining to the police about the how and why?"
Jenna shakes her head, "Unbelievable, all that you care about is the reputation of your school, you're wasting my time, you don't want me to go to the cops because it would lead straight to the fake reputation of your so-called school." Jenna steps out of the car.
Martin rolls his head, he can find her niece much easily but for that he needs to calm her down first but the driving force here for Jenna was love, her love for her niece, and there is no magic as powerful as love, so he decides to reveal to her that how he could help her find her niece faster.
He waves his hand and leaves blow in the air in front of Jenna grabbing her attention, once the leaves draw Jenna's attention out, they drop to the ground like this
Jenna.Jenna blinks, the leaves change their form
Get back in the car.
Jenna turns to look inside the car, Martin waves his fingers again and the leaves jump to the hood of the car showing.

Jenna looks at Martin in shock, this is the first time she has been exposed to the supernatural world, she gets into the car, "How?" is all she asks.
"I will need something of her first and a map to do a locator spell."
They end up in Martin's office again, and when Martin does the spell using a hair from her hair brush, it shows Elena moving out of Dallas.
Mystic Falls
Bonnie and Grams return home after procuring the flower they went looking for, they were preparing the potion to get their altered memory restored when Bonnie notices, "Grams, where did you keep those gloves."
"Oh, honey they're just lying there on the open, see."
"No, they're not."
"Of course, they are." She says and looks up only to find them missing.
Bonnie's phone rings, it is from Sheriff Forbes, "Yes, how may I help you?"
"Oh Bonnie, honey, is Caroline still with you, she hasn't called me yet to inform me about her whereabouts and she is not picking up so, I just got worried."
Bonnie is silent because Caroline left their house the same time, they both left to pick up the flower and also that her phone is missing. "She is sleeping, I will ask her to call you when she wakes up."
Bonnie disconnects and informs Grams about the same.
"Bonnie, we need to drink this first and then we will do a locator spell on Caroline, it is not like her to go missing."
In the middle of the sea
In a boat, Caroline's hands are tied behind her back, "Elena why are you doing this, I thought you were my friend."
Katherine smirks, "And Stefan thought you were his, how could you, you pretended to be his friend and brutally murdered his brother."
"Elena why are you doing this, I thought you loved me, you loved me as a friend."
"Oh come on, we both know the person I love is Stefan, Damon was just an object I used you to wipe out of my path and now that you have served your purpose I must remove you from my path as well."
"I thought you had an accident and I was so worried about you, how could you?"
"Oh I was injured, but then Stefan came, he turned me and I realized how truly in love with him I am and he wants me to decide your punishment and so that is what I am doing now." Katherine looks at the shark fin shown above water, Stefan has already reached that part of the sea, he was throwing dead meat and had poured a few blood bags to lure out the sharks.
Stefan was the one who abducted Caroline from her home and compelled the truth out of her, all of it, not only hers but Elena, Bonnie and Grams' part in it was revealed too, once he dealt with her, he was going to go after the Bennett witches and as for Elena, Katherine already told him why she needs her and what she needs her for, they chose to let Katherine play the role of Elena while leading Elena's friends and family to demise was that they wanted Elena's bond with her friends and others to break so that when Klaus comes for her, there is no one there to save her.
Once at the desired location, Katherine takes out her phone, recording them both she says, "Smile, hi this is Elena Gilbert, giving Caroline Forbes, the push she needs." And she pushes her into the water. The video ends.
Both Stefan and Katherine get in one boat and turn the boat around, they don't even look back, they hear the first scream when the shark's teeth dig into her foot the first time. They smirk evilly believing they're getting justice for the one they loved.
The shark bites her again and she screams again.
Meanwhile Klaus who was out on the rooftop of his castle painting his thoughts out couldn't concentrate on the painting because of the constant screaming of a woman, "Ahhh" he throws the paint brush away, "Shut up woman." She screams again and something inside of him, as much as he wanted to go inside and ignore whatever or whosoever's it was, the sound of this woman's voice just gets to him, just draws his attention like nothing else ever had.
He heaves, he throws the painting away and speeds towards the sound of the woman, out of all the sounds of the ocean and the island, the only sound that he could hear was that of the woman screaming and at this moment all he wanted was to get this woman to shut up. He realizes the sound is coming from the water, he speeds towards the sound, running over the water with his super speed.
The smell of blood was very strong over there and that too of flesh, he saw a shark feeding on a human, a blond girl, she was one screaming, she was lying in the pool of her own blood but it was then when she turned around that her face was visible to him, he saw her, he was mesmerized, in that moment he decided he wanted her. He sees the shark approaching slowly towards her and her shutting her eyes believing it to be her final moment.
Caroline hears a sound and looks up to see the shark torn up in two pieces floating in front of her, its jaw ripped out from its body, she finally shuts her eyes, so much blood loss makes her faint.
When she opens her eyes, her vision is a little blurred, she finds her lying on the bed, brown sheets, the curtains on the window. The room was too big, it was decorated with antiques, but there is one thing she notices, there is no pain in her body, nowhere, she sits up immediately and then a very handsome man walks in to her room holding a tray, she tries to get up.
"Oh please, be seated, you almost became shark lunch, just sit and relax."
The man keeps the tray on the bed, "Breakfast in bed, and you're not going anywhere until your blood loss is all healed up."
She recalls Elena throwing her to the sharks and starts crying, it wasn't her attempt to kill her that hurt her, it was the fact that she loved her as a best friend and even though she tried to kill her by throwing her to the sharks, no matter how much she is mad at her, something stops her from hating her.
Klaus gently lifts her chin up with his index finger and wipes her tears away with his thumb, 'Hey, relax' and she doesn't know when she does it but she just hugs him and starts crying the tears of betrayal rolling down her eyes. Klaus hadn't been treated like this by any woman in such a long time, at first, he keeps both his hands away but then lives into the moment, keeps one hand around her back and by the other starts to stroke her hair gently. They stay like that for a long time. Just the two of them.
