"To find my brother's son in the mortal world, what a good day. Today is the day I will take revenge on you!"

Floating in the desert, a black giant laughed with dark amusement, two weapons in his hands as he attacked with ferocity against the God before him.

Seth could only be described as a Vengeful Spirit. Despite assisting Ra in his fight against Apophis, he is resentful of all the Gods, especially his brother Osiris.

The God of Agriculture was worshipped while he was feared. When Ra was tired, he passed on to Osiris the duty of ruling Lower and Upper Egypt. At the same time, Seth was left with the duty of caring for the infertile desert lands.

If there was one thing that described Seth, it was this - the overwhelming Envy he felt for everything and everyone.

"Ah, you still think you are too much, a little worm like you can never dream of Heaven. Today, for the glory of Ra, you will succumb!"

While Seth's voice was dark and capable of corrupting mortals' minds, Horus's voice inspired justice and wisdom.

Not for nothing, Maat, the Goddess of Justice, was portrayed as an ally of the Pharaohs and Horus, with the God of Heaven being the "righteous and victorious power."

The two Egyptian Gods were irreconcilable enemies in their myth. Even manifesting in the mortal world would never change that.

The two Gods clashed in the sky, but at the same time, they had to watch out for one more participant in the battle.

A scythe tore through the air as it nearly ripped off the head of Horus, who dodged and raised his hand, generating a sphere of flame against the other God.

"Damned disgusting snake, stay out of our conflict!"

Horus was considered the reincarnation of Ra, the Sun, so he commanded that attribute. However, even though he saw the sun's flames advancing, the third God raised his scythe cutting the attack in half.

The Third God present - Thanatos - didn't mind the declaration of the God of Heaven.

Even beneath his cloak, he was just a skeleton, where his eyes should be his glowed blue flames as he focused on the lives of the two Gods in front of him with desire.

Inevitably, all mortals must die.

They cling to life with feverish desperation, for death is a cold unknown, filled with uncertainty and bleak finality.

Some accept their fate with grace, others are dragged along, kicking and screaming, but the truth is that no mortal would go to Hades willingly.

They are mown down by the nightmare of the God of Death, whose mournful face contrasts with the contented satisfaction he feels upon completing his task.

Still, to Thanatos, Mortals are easy prey whose end is preordained.

To cut them down is just a game to pass the ages.

However - a God - a being that goes beyond mortal frailty, is a being that Thanatos covets with avid eyes.

He despises the immortality that the other Gods squander. To him, it is a perversion and a provocation against his purpose.

A violent wave of sand arose again as the three Gods clashed. Giant tornadoes of destruction and an aura of death transformed the desert into a vast chaotic cauldron that could burst at any second.

It was a battle that mortals could never imagine.

It was an apocalyptic scene in which even the most powerful wizard could only flee in despair.

These were the [Heretic Gods], literally living and moving natural disasters. Even though they are good Gods in mythology, when they become [Heretic Gods] to descend on earth, they only bring unimaginable catastrophes.

In other words, Gods are synonymous with disasters for mankind. No matter how good they are, humans cannot withstand the grace and punishment of the Gods.

Therefore, when the [Heretic Gods] are killed, they return to the realm of immortality, but they never really die.

As long as their myths, legends, and epic tales exist, there will come a time when they are resurrected again, fueled by the urge to rebel against their myth.

"That doesn't look good..."

The violent wind and sand tore at my skin and made blood stains appear on my body. The environment's temperature was almost unbearable due to the presence of the gods.

But still, I walked through this burning sandstorm with a strong will and could only grit my teeth and endure the pain.

I had the [Spear of Longinus] fragment in one hand and the [Book of the Dead] in the other. Even so, I would have to approach Seth, Horus, or Thanatos to kill them.

However, the consequences of the fight between the three gods were gigantic and were impeding my efforts.

Fortunately, the [Heretic Gods] weren't caring about me as an ordinary person, so I was concentrating on fighting each other thoroughly.

This allowed me to approach the battlefield even though I possessed the mortal body.

"I remember that what determines the strength of a [Heretic God] is not their fame, nor how powerful they have been portrayed in their myths..."

"But rather their strength of will and determination, the firm knowledge of their identity."

"Whether Seth, Horus or Thanatos, they have a strong knowledge of their identities, although they are [Heretic Gods], their powers are extremely close to those of mythology."

The battle scene in front of me was a bit surprising.

The one who was getting the worst of it was undoubtedly Thanatos.

Seth and Horus were fighting each other, and even if the Personification of Death tried to get in his way, he was quickly dispatched by either of them.

The two Egyptian Gods were Gods of War with many myths about their battles. At the same time, Thanatos, despite being Death itself, was someone who had the role of leading mortal souls to Hades.

A demigod like Hercules beat him, and a mortal like Sisyphus tricked and bound him in his chains.

Even though he possessed overwhelming power as a God, in this front of three Gods, Thanatos was the one who was getting the worst of it.

While with the Egyptian Gods, Seth was winning. Although Horus was a God of War, his power was inferior to his uncle.

It took Horus years to defeat Seth in myth, relying on the help of several Gods, including his mother, Isis.

This was not a situation where all sides got hurt, and I reaped the benefits. The way it was going, Seth would get the victory.

If the three Gods are not injured, if I attack the seriously injured Thanatos, or even Horus and Seth, I will be attacked by the other Gods. They will not allow a new Campione to appear.

I, an ordinary mortal, will be almost impossible to kill a God.

"No, Horus has chosen to flee!"

After getting closer to the battle, I finally saw what had happened.

Seth gouged out one of Horus' eyes, and seeing his plight, the God of Heaven and Justice fled!

The Earth is gigantic, and the speed of these Gods was beyond imagination. If Horus flees and Seth chases him, and therefore Thanatos, I will lose my targets.

Moreover, to find these Gods, I must search the entire planet. But finding a God on such a giant planet amounts to foolish dreams.

It was rare to find [Heretic Gods] fighting against each other. I can't miss this opportunity.

And besides, there are other Campione's out there. So if another Campion finds these [Heretic Gods], they will attack them to take their power.

With that, if I decide to attack God, I will be shredded by the Campione.

That means.

"I can no longer hesitate. Whether it's success or failure, everything depends on it!"

At that moment, I willingly gave in, losing my thoughts like a wise man, and became impulsive.

I ran through the sandstorm that threatened to crush me, the [Spear of Longinus] was in one of my hands, and I raised the [Book of the Dead] in another.

The [Grimoire] glowed a golden-white mixture of pure divine power, and in the same instant, I felt my life begin to drain away.

Humans could not use the power of the gods, even in [Grimoires]. Such a thing would only bring ruin to the mortal.

But I didn't care!

Right here! Now!

Such laws would no longer bind me if I accomplished this feat!

Seth and Thanatos, about to pursue Horus, stopped instantly and turned to the source of all that divine power in my hands.

Now was the time to create a miracle!

The incredible feat of killing a God!
