[Excerpt from Italian magician Alberto Ricardo's book, Demon King, 19th Century.]
We bestow a title to those who have accomplished the formidable feat of killing a God.
Campione - Godslayer -
Among all the virtuous readers, some will probably believe I exaggerate too much with this title and frown. In contrast, others will think I am making an undue fuss over it.
However, I want to emphasize this once again.
A Campione - a God Slayer - is the supreme ruler.
Since he can kill a celestial being, he can invoke the gods' highly divine powers.
Campione - Godslayer - is a gentleman.
Since the power to kill a deity is in their hands, they can dominate mortals on earth.
Campione - Godslayer - is a demon.
Therefore, of all the humans living on earth, those who have the power to oppose them do not exist!
[Excerpt from the letter from Cardinal Antonio Tevez, sent to the Vatican].
Abandoning God, playing on the magicians' demonic knowledge, he received the title of King from them.
I dare say that all of you have probably heard these titles at some point.
Campione.
Supreme Ruler.
The illegitimate son of Epimetheus.
The Demon King.
It is with extreme regret that I say that mere mortals like us cannot fight them.
The only ones capable of fighting them are other Campiones, our Holy Father's angels, and the pagan gods that are taboo...
Excerpt about the Verification about the New Campione.
In Egyptian mythology, Seth was an Egyptian god of Chaos, drought, and war and the lord of the red earth (desert), where he was the balance to Horus' role as the lord of the black earth (soil).
In myths, Seth is the God of confusion, disorder, and disruption, which is emphasized by hieroglyphic writing in which the animal of Seth serves as a determinant for negative concepts (authoritarianism, fury, cruelty, crisis, turmoil, disaster, suffering, disease, storm). Master of thunder and lightning, he wields his power on the shores of Egypt, which are desert lands.
According to legend, Seth was the incarnation of the spirit of evil and the brother of Osiris, the God who brought civilization to Egypt. He was the husband and brother of the goddess Nephthys. He is described as having torn the womb of his mother Nut with his claws to be born.
God would do anything to gain control of the gods and take the place of his brother Osiris. He initially assisted Ra in his eternal struggle against the serpent Apophis (Chaos itself) on the solar ship. In this sense, he was initially seen as a good god.
Although disturbing and linked to indiscriminately destructive forces, Seth is more of a trickster than an evil demon, at least in ancient myths.
It is not until the Third Intermediate Period that the image of Seth permanently tarnishes, perhaps in response to the successive takeovers of various foreign peoples over the Kingdom of Egypt. Seth, associated with foreign powers, becomes the evil agent of the country's loss.
He was a God with multiple dominions, being the God of Violence, Betrayal, Jealousy, Envy, Desert, War, Revenge, Darkness, Chaos, Drought, Storms, Animals, and Snakes.
Thanatos, on the other hand, in Greek mythology, was the personification of death. At the same time, Hades ruled over the dead in the lower world. His name is transliterated as Thanatus, and his equivalent in Roman mythology is Mors or Leto (Letum). He is known to have a heart of iron and bowels of bronze.
Thanatos is the son of Nix, the night, and Erebor, the darkness, children of Chaos. Thanatos is the personification of death; he was the first of the twins born to Nix on August 21. He had that date as his favorite day to snatch lives, while Hypno is the personification of sleep.
Thanatos is a character that appears in countless myths and legends, just as in the story of Sisyphus and King Midas. Thanatos is represented by a silver cloud that snatched the life from mortals. He was also represented by a man with silver hair and eyes. His role in Greek mythology is accompanied by Hades, the God of the nether world.
After killing Seth and Thanatos, the young Rael Seth became a Campione.
[Report on Rael Seth, Greenwich Assembly Compilation]
As mentioned above, after taking the powers of Seth and Thanatos, the Fifth Campione lit to his status.
An unbelievable feat of killing not one but two [Heretic Gods] at once while still an average human, something only a son of the Fool would do.
The new King is called Rael Seth. After researching people around the world with the same name, there is no discovery about [King]'s background, so it is suspected that this name is a pseudonym.
After the investigation, it was confirmed that the Fifth Campione killed these two [Heretic Gods], Seth and Thanatos, to become a Campione.
Due to the vast myths, tales, and epics about these two Gods, it is impossible to guess the Authorities usurped by the Fifth Campione.
However, everyone, please don't forget.
Even if his powers are unknown, and he is still inexperienced, there is no denying that he is a Campione.
To frail humans like us, he is still a demon that stands above all living things.
Moreover, Rael Seth, when he killed his first God, showed no knowledge of magic.
This may prove the theory that one person has already stated; instead of stating that the most extraordinary presence among the mages is the Campione, it is more correct to say that, in the end, the mages are merely imitations of the Campiones.
