If Rael's blow, for example, hit Horus' torso, or his head, then the God of Heaven would ultimately lose the ability to move his body.
It was an overwhelming Authority that concerted into physical strength. If Rael's opponent relied on physical combat, then there was where the Fifth Campione could excel the most.
Horus' eyes flashed in fury as he fired at Rael, his spear firing an overwhelming series of blows.
In response, Rael used his Divine Arms to defend himself. Both had even greater strength than divine steel, so they could not be damaged so easily.
"But it seems you can't 'bury' a weapon, can you!"
Horus' shout further emboldened his attacks as Rael continued to defend himself.
That was one of the weaknesses of the Authority [Per Djet]. It didn't work on weapons, only on an enemy's body.
So an enemy who used weapons or could maintain ranged combat would have an advantage against Rael. The same enemy also didn't know the effect of his Divine Arms on a Divine Weapon with awareness.
"That may be true, but I have my means for that!"
Rael's Divine Fist advanced as Horus brought his spear forward to defend himself.
But to the shock of the Sky God, his divine weapon was destroyed by the overwhelming power of the divine fist.
The blow continued to strike Horus' right shoulder and one of his wings that he brought up to defend himself.
At that instant, two ankhs appeared, one on Horus' right shoulder and one on his right wing, and at the same time, two orbs lit up on Rael's arms.
The Sky God was forced to step back as his two arms were motionless next to one of his wings.
Rael just let out a disappointed sigh.
"Tell me, what can you do now, Sky God? Your two arms are useless now, and you can't use your Divine Speed without one of your wings."
"Tell me, Horus, why don't you use your Wisdom Light Sword against me again?"
Rael's serious question was met with a surprised look from the Falcon God.
"I was wondering if you had such Authority, why didn't you use it in your battle against Seth and Thanatos? All you had to do was cut off the deity of one and the other, and you would have won the fight."
"Even against me, you only used it to seal Thanatos. It was a rash move knowing I still had Seth's power. And that leads me to believe that your Authority must have a recharge period."
The Fifth Campione coolly analyzed the way the King of the Gods fought while staying severely.
"Now, you are a little bird waiting for the slaughter."
Rael's right fist was raised as it glowed with great magical energy accumulated.
"Indeed, you are right, Son of Fool." As a bright aura enveloped him, Horus said, "I have lost my arms and wings now. My uncle destroyed my eye. I am but a crippled God in this condition."
Horus' right eye glowed in pure fury.
"But Rage gave me the strength to defeat Seth and take the throne for myself. And with that Rage, I will defeat you, Son of Pandora!"
Gigantic tornadoes began to rise in the region at Horus' command. In the sky, the Sun shone with gigantic intensity.
"I am the Sun of Egypt! Feel the glory of Ra!"
The clouds parted as a scorching heat became apparent. Temperatures rose, and the water of the Nile River began to bubble as steam hissed and evaporated.
A great fire began to descend from the sky, its heat comparable to that of the Sun.
This was a flame that could even incinerate gods.
At the command of Horus, the gigantic flame advanced upon the Earth.
Energy in the form of fire; a supernova of heat comparable to hellfire descending from heaven.
The flame was gigantic, capable of encompassing entire cities, and powerful in its energy exploding in a broad wave. This radiation attack could annihilate entire armies.
The flames of the Sun began to fall against Rael.
The Fifth Campione knew he would be killed even if that flame hit him.
"Per Djet, all tombs released."
Horus stared at the great flame falling from the sky. As an avatar of Ra, an attack based on the power of the Sun could not hurt him, but it would surely kill that Detestable Campione.
But Horus' eyes widened when he felt the movement of his right arm, the anhks in it disappeared.
Had the Demon King died? No, if that had happened, all those seals should have disappeared.
"The Sun is a ball of fire in space. But its image you see as it crosses the sky, the life-giving warmth and light it brings to the Earth - this was embodied by Ra, the Sun God and the first of the Gods. The Sun was his throne, source of power, and very spirit."
Horus' eye went toward the voice and saw a giant flash of light shining on the flames that fell on Campione.
"Ra was the God of the Sun. He was known to merge with various Gods generating new forms. This included the Sky God Horus, considered his Avatar on Earth."
The flames that had previously threatened to burn Rael disappeared and revealed Rael unharmed.
In his right hand was a gigantic Sword of Light forged of wisdom.
Horus recognized immediately what this was. It was his power.
His Authority.
"Wh-what?!" Horus' right eye stared in shock as Rael smiled.
The Authority's true trump card [Per Djet] had been unleashed.
With the incantation "Per Djet, all tombs released." Rael could release the buried body parts of the enemy to use the enemy's Authorities as if they were his own.
Of course, in return, his opponent would regain the movement of a part of his body.
And that's what Rael did. He could use Horus' Wisdom Light Sword Authority by releasing one of Horus' arms.
"Ra-Horakhty was a manifestation of a composite deity. It translates as 'Ra (who is) Horus of the Horizons.' The intention was to link Horakhty, a sunrise-oriented aspect of Horus, to Ra. It has been suggested that Ra-Horakhty refers to the Sun's journey from horizon to horizon as Ra or that it means to show Ra as a symbolic deity of hope and rebirth. That was the fusion of Ra and Horus, which granted you power over the Sun!"
The gigantic Sword of Light shone even brighter when unleashed against the God of Heaven, who could not dodge the attack.
When the gigantic light finally disappeared, the kneeling Sky God was revealed. His bright aura was no longer there as he stood motionless.
That sword of wisdom cut off the aspect of Ra that was connected to Horus, so the God of Heaven lost his power over the Sun.
As he saw the Demon King slowly approaching him, the God of Heaven tried to pull his last strength, but Rael was already in front of him.
"It was an excellent battle, Horus, but now is the time when you will return to your myth!"
Rael's right divine fist rose as it glowed with the overwhelming magical energy he had accumulated in it.
With his last strength, the Sky God turned to the Fifth Campione.
"Know this Son of Fool. Although heretic gods can be killed, as long as their myths, legends, and epic tales exist, there will come a time when we will be resurrected as heretic gods again, fueled by our impulse to rebel against our myth."
"And at that time, I will seek you out again to battle against you," He said calmly, "And then we will fight."
Rael shook his head, understanding that it was his nature to seek battle for glory and honor. He would not be able to control his impulse to seek battle, especially against the one who defeated him to regain his honor.
"I will be looking forward to that day, Horus."
A single fist came down, and its force was enough to shake the Earth.
With a blow that shook the Earth and the heavens, the great King of the Gods and God of Heaven and War had been slain by the Fifth Campione.
