Hi! Yes, I know, I published the first 'chapter' in 2019, but Covid hit and my life threw me a curve ball. Also, I just have sucky motivation and just do this thing for fun, so I didn't worry about it much. However, I was really wanting to start this up again because I still really love the idea. Anyways, by the time you're seeing this, my little disclaimer chapter before this will be deleted (thank gosh, it's not necessary to be there-).

Prologue: Alien Turtle Babies
As the image before me set to unfold, my swiss cheese brain was already becoming more confused by the second. My eyes widened to the size of dinner plates as they fell upon four... Aliens? Turtles? Babies? Alien turtle babies? I couldn't tell what they were, I'd never seen anything like them before in my life. Had I finally lost it? Is this an alternate dimension? Am I on another planet-?
I jumped when one started moving towards me, and when it noticed my frightful reaction, it stopped advancing and blinked its small beady black orbs. Without warning, it started to cry loudly.
Panicked, I looked around me, darting back and forth between the baby whatever-the-heck-it-was before I instinctively rose from a seated position on the cold metal floor to pick them up.
"Shhh! Shh, shh, it's alright, it's okay, heyyy," I cooed, trying to calm the creature down. I noticed they were stiff in my arms, but after douncing it a bit as I swayed, they started to relax and stop wailing. I noticed the other three staring at me and I gulped a bit of anxiety down the back of my throat.
In a pained tone of confusion, I couldn't help but to utter two words too familiar to my partial amnesia to forget,
"Ohhh-ho-ho-ho boy."
