Gorgeous Husband: Well?

Me: Well what?

Gorgeous Husband: Are you going to admit that I was right?

Me: Who says you were right!?

Gorgeous Husband: I told you he was a good kid.

Me: I never said he wasn't!

Gorgeous Husband: Oh, sure.

Me: Well. It's obvious they like each other. But it's going to be hard for them.

Gorgeous Husband: Mm.

Me: They're very different. There's going to be so many times when they find themselves drifting away from one another.

Gorgeous Husband: Well, it's early days.

Gorgeous Husband: We had the same problems-

Gorgeous Husband: -and look at us now.

Me: I guess it's up to them, if they want to put in the energy to make it work.

Gorgeous Husband: Exactly.

Me: I just don't want Kaede to get hurt.

Gorgeous Husband: Heartache happens to everyone. Everyone remembers their first love.

Me: That's true.

Gorgeous Husband: He could have chosen a lot worse.

Me: that's also true.

Gorgeous Husband: Imagine if he'd fallen for his coach.

Me: You're never gonna let that go, are you?

Gorgeous Husband: Nope.

Me: Sigh.

Me: why are you texting me from the bathroom?

Me: I'm in the next room.

Gorgeous Husband: The marvels of modern technology.

Me: You're such an old man.

Me: Hurry up and come to bed!

ANs: Sorry! I was honestly planning to update this faster but in the end our whole family caught covid so I've been busy looking after sick kids. They're on the mend now so I'll try and get a bit more done before I have to return to work - I really want to get this finished soon got I have a lot of things on my "to write" list T.T
