14 Windermere Road, Greenwich, England

The car pulled up in front of a townhouse with a front garden. There were some children's toys in the front, but not enough to look messy. There was a woman standing in the doorway, in a black jumper and jeans. She had a little boy at her hip. He couldn't be more than 5 years old. An older boy, about 11, and a girl about 15 or 16 were standing behind the woman. The woman had bags under her eyes and her shoulders were bowed. Zaima got out of the driver's seat and Grey got out on the passenger side. Grey walked around and opened the door to where Knells was sitting. The woman covered her mouth as her husband left the car. Her two children ran forward and hugged Knells fiercely. The youngest child reached forward. His mother put him down and he ran to his father and siblings, joining the hug. Once the children let go, Knells walked forward and embraced his wife. There were silent tears falling down her cheeks.

Ron Weasley stumbled out of the car after Neville and Harry, nearly knocking them both over

"Ow, watch it Ron," Harry said

"Sorry, I'm not used to muggle cars" Ron said

"Guys, try to look professional" Zaima begged

"What are you talking about? This is professional for us" Neville said, dead serious. Grey walked forward to the woman and Knells.

"Mrs. Knells, may we speak to you inside?" Grey asked. Mrs. Knells nodded. She led them inside, to the sitting room. The children all crowded around the living room.

"Is it alright if the children are here?" She asked

"It would be best if they were not," Grey said. Mrs. Knells pulled the children aside for a moment. When she returned, she returned alone.

"Mrs. Knells, we are so sorry to interrupt your reunion but it is important that we speak to you now about your husband's experience" Grey began

"Of course," She said

"We are just beginning our investigation and are currently looking for information. We have reason to believe that one of your husband's coworkers, Ivan Yaxley, is involved"

"Ivan? Are you sure? He used to come over and have dinner with us. He was always kind to the children, especially Mackie" she said

"Ma'am, Ivan Yaxley has already confessed to several violent crimes against women and girls, including murder, as young as 16."

"I can't believe it,"

"People like that are usually good at acting normal and even kind." Neville said

"He is a good man"

"Mom, Stop." Her daughter said. Her fists were clenched and her face was red. Grey nodded to Zaima. Zaima got up and walked over to the girl.

"Hi Mackie, my name is Zaima Nabih, I'm an agent with MI5, can we go into another room, I need to ask you a couple of questions"

"My name isn't Mackie" She said

"Wait, anything you want to ask her you can ask in front of me" Mrs. Knells said.

"What's your name? Zaima asked

"Ari" she said

"Alright Ari, who is Mackie?"

"She was my best friend"

"What do you mean, was?"

"She disappeared 2 months ago. Let me guess, Uncle Ivan did something to her?"

"We had no idea of her disappearance until now, but we will look into it. What made you think he did something to her?" Zaima asked

"She told me he was sleeping with her" she said with a sneer

"Wait, how old is Mackie?" Zaima asked, going pale

"A year and a half older than me. She just turned 18 in October"

"Ari. Don't say things like that, he was is good man"

"Good men don't send law enforcement livers, kill innocent women and traumatize the supposed friends, Cora" Knells said

"What?"

"Yaxley and some people kept me locked up in some sort of cell for weeks. They tortured me and I think they killed the girls I was interviewing for the book. His friends sent me to their" he gestured to the aurors "office with a human liver and a letter in a box. He wasn't a good person." Mrs. Knells remained silent, letting the full weight of what her husband was telling her sink in. Her eyes lit up with a realization she covered her mouth

"Oh my god, Ari, did he ever touch you?" She asked

"He was just always kinda creepy" she said

"Why didn't you tell us?" Knells asked

"I told Mack, she said you guys probably wouldn't believe me"

"Sweetheart, of course we would have believed you," Mrs. Knells said. Ari shrugged

"Mrs. and Mr. Knells, we will need Ari to give a formal statement to our office before Yaxley goes to trial" Grey said

"Wait, will she have to stand up there in court?" Mr. Knells asked

"That is up for the prosecutor to decide, not us. As of now, we will need Ari's statement to charge him with anything involving Mackie." Grey said

"Oh my god, Ari, August, I'm sorry I let him into our house"

"We both did Cora" Knells said

"We understand how difficult of a time this is for you. We can do more follow up questions at a later date." Grey said

"I think that might be best," Knells said. What the family did not feel was a change in the air. There was a certain darkness to it, but not one that could be put into words. It was almost electric, causing the aurors to get goose flesh. It sent a chill in the air that caused shivers down their spines. Harry turned and looked for the disturbance, but there was no visible cause of it.

"Wait," Grey said, looking around the room. The other aurors were also looking for the cause of this strange disturbance. She took out her wand, the others followed suit. Harry felt his stomach drop and his heart raced, as though he saw someone stare at him through his peripheral vision. The chills continued as the Aurors and family in front of them fell to silence. Without the noise, every bang and clang of the house could be heard, causing the aurors to jump at each sound. The clock ticked in the background. The noise compared to the relative silence was roaring. The noise drew the aurors attention. The old clock was only a mere minute to 12 in the afternoon. Tik tok, tik tok the Aurors tried to find the source but were greeted only with Tik tok, tik tok, tik tok, tik tok.

Tik tok, Tik tok.

Tick tok.

Tik.

Tok.

The clock struck the hour. The cuckoo chimed the hour. The song came to the end, with the last note, black clouds filled the room. Each cloud gave away to a person. The Aurors were faced with well over a dozen masked, cloak wearers with wands already aimed. They began their assault. The aurors were swiftly divided. Ron found himself surrounded by 3 of them. One of them cast a curse at him.

"Crucio" he cast his shield. Another one of them sent a blazing light at him. Ron dogeded it. The third sent a cutting curse at him. Ron tried to cast a stupefy curse but his attacker blocked him. The curse hit Ron on his forehead. He felt the blood drip down his face.

"Imperio" One of them cast. Neville was hit. He felt himself floating in his mind, just give in, go after Ron, a voice in his head said. Neville shook his head, clearing away the voice. He cast a blasting curse back

"SectumSempra", Zaima dogded. she cast her shield. She searched the room for the Knells. Mr. and Mrs Knells were trying to shield Ari. Zaima locked eyes with Ari.

"Stupify" Harry sent Expeliarmus back. He was met with a barrage of curses. He put up his shield. His arm was hurting him. He didn't have time to check why it was. He was surrounded. He couldn't see any of the others. He sent one of them flying back. He was able to lock eyes with Grey. He felt his wand fly out of his hand. Something hit him, from the front? No, behind! He turned to face his attacker. He was ready to attack when his eyes began to flutter. He was going down-
