Ginny Wealsey woke up early. She jumped out of bed. She opened her blinds to check the weather outside and saw that there was a layer of frost over the land. Ginny grabbed a jumper and pants from her closet. She got ready and tied her red hair back into a ponytail. She made sure her Quidditch bag had all of it's necessary supplies and then zipped it closed. She opened it again to double check. She shook her head when she realized that everything was there. She heard a knock on her door. She walked over to answer it. Harry was standing behind the door, looking handsome in his Auror uniform.
"Hey Harry," She wrapped her arms around him
"Hi," he kissed her on the top of her head.
"What's up?" She asked him.
"I just wanted to make sure you were ok" he said
"I'm fine. It's just Myra coming back. Honestly compared to the article, I'm not even bothered" She said
"I know but after what she did-"
"Look, everyone on the team knows what a two faced lying witch with a b she is. The only one I need to worry about is her dear grandad, but hey, Louise Stewart already put him in his place once."
"Are you sure you don't want me to take you?" Ginny threw a pillow at him. He caught it. Harry turned to face the window
"I'm fine Harry"
"Gin, you're the toughest bravest person I know but-" Harry's eyes were glued to something outside.
"Harry?" Ginny asked. Harry had paled considerably. He sat there for a moment. He took off for the door of Ginny's room. "Harry!" Ginny yelled. She chased him down the stairs. He threw open the front door. Ginny followed. He was standing in the middle of the sidewalk, looking desperately for something. She had no idea what that thing could be.
"Harry!" She yelled again. He turned to face her. He ran his hand threw his dark hair
"I thought I saw him"
"Who did you see"
"I thought I saw him watching us"
"Harry, what are you talking about?" Ginny's confusion began to change to fear. "What's going on?"
"I thought I saw the man from the ambush"
"Ambush?" Ginny's heart pounded in her chest "what Ambush?" Harry's look changed. His blind panic was replaced with a mix of dread and regret.
"I think we should go inside," he said. Ginny nodded. They went back into the house. Harry carefully locked the door behind them. They walked back up the stairs to her room. She sat down on her bed. Harry paced in front of her. She waited for him to begin
"I told you about my case right?"
"You told me that it involved the death eaters but that was it" Ginny hugged her knees to her chest
"They started by sending me a human kidney and a letter saying that they have been stalking me for the last 18 months"
"Harry, how is that possible, the house-"
"I don't know, they kidnapped Knells and then sent him to me to tell me that they would hurt you if I told you any more of 'their' secrets" Ginny's face paled
"What about the ambush?" Ginny whispered
"They attacked us at the Knells' house. There were a lot of them. One of them knocked me out. Grey said he tried to aparate away with me, but I can't bloody remember."
"Harry, why didn't you tell me?"
"Robards made us swear not to tell anyone. He was scared of causing a panic."
"Does anyone else know?" Ginny asked. Harry shook his head "Harry, I don't know what to say or to do"
"Neither do I," he said. Harry checked his watch. "You'll be late Gin,"
"I think this is a little more important" Ginny said
"Please, I don't want you to be late today" she looked him in the eye.
"We are going to talk more when I get home"
"I promise." He said. Harry walked her to the fireplace. She threw a handful of floo powder down. She caught a glimpse of Harry as she disappeared into a plume of green fire.
