After Arianna had settled the new project into the personal garage attached to her guest house she sighed. James was opening the shop in less than an hour's time so she would have to put the restoration on hold until lunch hour. Luckily she lived a five minute walk from the garage.

Arianna rented the small In law suite that was situated just a short distance away from the old veteran's home with her best friend Natile Starr Christie. The house was a one bedroom, one bath with a large living room/dining room area. James and Arianna built a two car garage attached to the house with a cement driveway for Ari and Natalie to park their cars.

The two girls had been rooming together since Natalie graduated high school. They had been best friends since the first grade and they had no problem sharing a single room...most of the time. However, rent was cheap and with Natalie having just gotten her bachelor's degree, neither of the two were complaining about extra spending money.

"Ari? Did you find something you liked?" A soft voice called out for the front of the guest house. The black haired woman glanced back to see a beautiful brown haired woman. She smiled sweetly at her before looking past Arianna. "Oh, he's had a rough time hasn't he?"

"Ah Starr, meet the newest addition to our little home, El Diablo." Arianna grandly gestured to the yellow car.

"Welcome Diablo." The woman said warmly. "James wants us to meet up a little before work for...shall we say a staff meeting."

"So basically he wants to yell at us for some small reason or another." Arianna laughed as she left the garage letting it's door slowly close with an electric whining sound. The two girls chatted as they walked towards the garage. Arianna was one of two mechanics at the Drop Shop with James obviously being the other.

Starr took up a sort of manager position in the place, doing everything that wasn't physically fixing the cars. Inventory, appointments, orders, payroll, and whatever else James didn't feel like doing. The two women had been more than happy to help the older man with the shop. While it wasn't a large shop they made extremely good money.

The man looked up as the two women came in chatting to each other. "About time you two got here." He groused and began on a spill about the proper way to organize a workstation.. It was something he was intensely anal about but also even if only one tool or paper was out of place when he was in the mood the whole thing would be wrong. So they were quite used to his lectures.

The day went on slowly, particularly slow for the shop but by the end of the day she was able to get some work done on the car. She had gotten the rusted spots grinded down and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't that bad but the paint was shot to hell and back so she started the process of removing all of the paint she could without messing up the already banged up metal. She had made it to the hood when a spark of static electricity zapped her hand making her yank the appendage away. "Very well Diablo, I won't do that yet. No need to get testy." She laughed at her own joke.

Her eyes roved across the dented and bent body of the car. "Don't worry old boy. You'll be fixed up soon." She patted the car. "I know there is someone out there who will be looking for you."

Sideswipe online his sensors as he came out of forced stasis. He instinctively reached out for his brother only to find him silent. He felt him but he didn't hear him. Panic began to ingulf the red mech even more as he reached out with his sensors.

Where are you?

No life forms were registering on his sensors and with each klik that past he felt like he was slowly falling into madness. He wasn't here. He should be there.

Heedless of anything else the mech transformed causing pain to rack his body from his abdominal plating. It wasn't excruciating but it was definitely letting him know he wasn't back to full capacity.

Around him were the stacks of cars that had been taken apart. The sky was dark and the area around him held very little light not that that would have affected the frontliner much. No, right now he was on a mission to find his brother. He knew him to be alive or else he wouldn't have been online at all. However Sunny could be hurt out there and he would have no way of knowing.

He felt his spark reaching out towards his brother trying to find the hint of a direction. He felt for a very brief moment a tingle towards a certain point on the horizon and that was all it took for the red frontliner to transform down to his alt mode and race off.

Don't worry Sunny. I'll find you.
