Arianna looked around at the mostly darkening park. While she was waiting for the red sports car she had found a few blankets and a squashed pillow behind the seats with a note that read: Your welcome. In very curvy writing letting her know it was her best friend's doing.

She had just situated the blankets in the back of the truck bed when the aforementioned sports car rolled up beside her. "Hey." He said, appearing next to her truck in a flash of blue sparks. The black haired woman jumped and glared at him.

"Why do you do that?"

"It's easier than pulling it up inside and then getting out the door. AND THEN walking around the car." He grinned at her, before opening the passenger door and grabbing the bag of food and drink.

"Looks like you still had to open the door." She snarled at him. He turned to her and gave her the bag and drink before hopping up into the truck bed.

"Is this where you wanna sit and talk? You made it more comfortable." He looked around at the blankets that were layered underneath each other to form a semi cushioned area. She shrugged at him before situatuating her food in front of her. She noticed that there was only food here for her.

"You don't eat?" It might have been a stupid question but she felt bad for eating in front of him.

"Not this stuff." He nudged the burger box. "This is my holoform. It is just made up of my nanites," He paused, seeing her tilted head making her pigtails look lopsided. "Nanites are like...like the bacteria on your skin. Except ours has multiple purposes. It forms a thin layer of protection. Not useful in battle but against dirt and rust. It can repair our wounds and a few other things like clumping together to form this."

She seemed to want to ask more but he held his hand up. When she paused to let him talk, he merely pointed at her food. "You asked what a Split spark was so that is a pretty in depth answer cause i have to explain how sparklings are made." The woman didn't say anything letting him get his train of thought together. "Okay, so sparklings...babies are made two different ways on cybertron. One is by using the all spark. The other is by...well naturally."

"I am gonna stop you right there and we can skip that part."

He chuckled and picked up one of her fries and turned it this way and that just looking at it. "Well Sunny and I weren't made by the All Spark. That's this cube that powers our planet. It was a gift from our god Primus. It also creates our sparks. That is this...well it's our 'soul' as you organics call it and our power source. It is who we are." He was giving her time between each sentence for her to grasp the concepts before continuing with the next. "Cybertronians who were born of the all spark their creators were able to make their bodies. Unlike natural born Cybertronians which you won't find many of because of the complications it can cause. Our Carrier...she got sparked with us…um… I think you use the term pregnant. But when our spark was forming it broke in half, making us split spark twins."

"So you are Identical twins?" Arianna asked, slightly muffled between her hands, coming to cover her slightly full mouth. "Why is that so complicated?"

His eyes looked at her blankly for a second before he shook his head. "No, it's not like that. Yes we are born at the same time and come from the same spark but that makes me and Sunny the same person. We are two halves of one whole. Like our sparks can't be too far away from each other for long. It hurts us. If he dies then I will die."

"So, we don't really have an Earth equivalent." She smiled at him sadly. "I don't fully understand but I will try to help you stay as close to your brother as possible."

He smiled at her. "Thank you...That is really sweet of you."

"I mean I wouldn't want to be separated from someone so close to me." The sad tone in her voice had Sideswipe looking at her.

"You seem to be taking this pretty well, not even native born Cybertronians are this you know, accepting. It's kind of rare to be split spark and even rarer still to live past sparklinghood."

"Why?"

"Well...You see the spark is ripped in half and desperately desires to be reconnected but that's not something that can be done at that young so the only thing they can do is stay as close as possible to one another. Most can't make do with that and return to the Well of Sparks. It's the cybertronian version of heaven."

"You know you are strangely similar to humans, except you know giant and metal and you make your babies with a cube."

"Yeah well, you organics can't dance."

"Oh, Really?" Arianna grinned easily at him. Was the fact that he was an alien bother her still? Yes, it did but he seemed so human that, while she didn't forget he was an alien, she could look past the fact and accept it easier. "Have you seen a human dance, because as far as you know they are."

"Are you gonna show me human dancing?"

"Me? No absolutely not. I've got no rhythm, I'm just saying you shouldn't generalize." The girl said, finishing up her food. "So you and Sunstreaker? You're twins? How did you guys end up separated?"

"The Decepticons." He growled, eyes narrowing. "Sunny and I are part of a group of cybertronians called Autobots. We fight the Decepticons. They are the guys who wanted to rule over Cybertron and they killed anyone who objected. The fight between us destroyed the planet and we have been having skirmishes since looking for the All Spark, I told you about earlier. Our leader in order to protect it sent it off the planet a really long time ago. We've been looking for it ever since. Me and Sunny are frontliners and found a distress beacon from one of the autobot scouts. He said he thought he had found the location of the All Spark. A few...hours after we landed we were attacked by a group of seekers...flying Cybertorians that come in trines. A group of three seekers or other Cybertronians but mostly seekers. I got stabbed and that left Sunny to fight them off himself."

Through the whole explanation, Arianna was quiet and allowed him to gather his thoughts together. While he tried to find the words without over explaining. It was more of an info dump. But she didn't mind so much as it wasn't a swift spill of information. He was slow enough for her to keep up.

"Do you have anything else you wanna ask me?" Sides asked from his position leaned back on his forearms.

"Not right now. I mean I would like to learn more about you and your people but I think for the time being we need to get to my place and convince James that you and I have known each other for a long time. Just do me a favor and don't screw me over on this...cause what I am doing for you si still very stupid."
