Jason POV
"Well" the announcer said "Moving on to our next 1 v 1" the board then flashed pictures and names. I hadn't expected to see my name up there but there it was.
"Oh, this is a good one folks" the announcer said "JASON GRACE VS THOR" Thor, really. God of thunder, avenger, and overall badass. Yep that Thor. I feel like I should explain somethings to help you out here. Don't worry I'm not gonna shove any exposition down your throat. The avengers that were here included Ironman, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Black Panther, Thor, Hawkeye, Hulk, Captain America, and Vision. I recognized them from the movies. The justice league that was present included Superman, Batman (well, not anymore I guess) Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Green Arrow.
Now that that's out of the way, we can get back to the story.
I looked at the god of thunder. He didn't look like he wanted to fight me, but we had no choice. He held Mjolnir at the ready, and I drew my sword.
He called down lightning upon me and I deflected it with my sword back at him. He flew towards me and I flew out of the way. I was flying over him so I called down lightning and struck him. He was hammered into the ground but fired a bolt at me. It hit and I was hurled into the wall. I felt my bones break, and I heard the wall crack. I fell to the ground. He charged me and I had to move out of the way. Then I charged him and he parried. We traded blows left and right, each of us trying to get the advantage.
Eventually he had the high ground. And I was unable to move. He was bleeding, but so was I. He charged directly at me, I closed my eyes and prepared myself.
