Percy POV

I don't know what happened or how I got here, but here I am.

I guess I should explain.

I was engulfed in flames. Crashing down through the atmosphere. I had been catapulted into another reality. When the flames cleared up I was still falling. It was night so I couldn't see much but what I did see was terrifying. There was a town beneath me, A tower with a ballista, A ballista pointed straight at a dragon, I screamed when the bolt was fired. It glowed a menacing purple and hit its target. The dragon went down in the woods. Ironically that's where I was going.

I plowed into the dirt. Now I know what your thinking "Oh-my-gods. Did Percy just die?" No, thank gods. But I did feel dead.

I forced myself up. I got my bearings. It was raining. The dragon was fallen beside me. I walked slowly to it, but it warned me off. Then suddenly "Back away from the dragon" I turned and saw some blonde guy wearing knight armor surrounded by other knights and a brunette wearing some very witch like clothes.

"I won't ask again" The blonde said. This guy was getting on my nerves "Move!" I took out riptide but I didn't uncap it. I thought 'there's no way I can take on these guys'. So I reluctantly moved aside. The soldiers then put the dragon in chains.

I started to walk away when suddenly. "Don't make another move" I turned around and I was surprised. A girl wearing (what I assumed was) green armor, She had purple eyes, She was an elf (Had to be, only way those ears made sense), She had white hair and black horns? (What?). "Last warning" she spoke with a scottish accent (hey, I'm not allowed to notice these things?) Then she jumped on top of the dragon and tried to cut the chains but her dagger bounced off it. "Oh yeah" The blonde said as smug as can be "The thing about chains is their made of metal. Hard to cut" She was surrounded. I had to do something. So I uncapped riptide and ran straight into the fray.

I tackled a soldier and knocked them down but then I realized that a lot of soldiers were there to. I laughed nervously "Uhh hey" I said. The elf ignored me and said "I'm not backing down" And both her daggers were drawn " The blonde prepared himself. Then the girl said "Try not to kill her Soren. She can lead us to Ezrin and Callum" "She doesn't have to"

We all looked over to see a guy no older than 13 wearing a blue jacket and red scarf looking real badass walk out of the shadows "I'm right here" the brunette exhaled happily "Callum" she said but then she noticed something, and I noticed it to. Callum was holding a book and a green caterpillar "What are you doing?" "Your kind of magic" The elf looked disgusted. Then the brunette walked slowly towards him "You don't want to do this Callum, it's really dangerous unless someone shows you how" "You already did" Callum said.

Then he squished the caterpillar, Then he started saying something in Latin. Then suddenly his hand glowed green then the green light enchanted the chains. Then the chains turned into snakes and started towards the soldiers and me "What the hell?!?!" I said. Then Callum collapsed.

I rolled out of the way. When I got up I saw that Soren had a sword pointed at the elf. "Congratulations" he said "You did everything to could to save a monster that torched a town of innocent people. But it didn't even matter, you freed a dead dragon" Then the dragon stirred. It stood up and roared loudly. Not gonna lie I was terrified.

Then the elf moved out of the way and grabbed her friends arm. Then she looked at me "Hey you!" She said "Are you with them?" I looked at the soldiers being terrorized by the snakes. Then I looked back at her "No" I said "Then help me out will you?" I ran towards her and grabbed Callums other arm. Then we headed out.

"Who are you?" The elf asked "Names Percy" I said "You?" "Rayla" "Nice to meet you Rayla" "We'll see won't we"

Over the next two days I met Ezrin heir to the throne of Katalis. I also met Zym heir to the dragon throne. (he's really cute to). We then learned that a dark wizard had forcefully taken the Katalis throne, so Ezrin went back with the bounty hunter named Korvis to take his throne and hopefully end the war.

I on the other hand went with Callum (who had went through a fevered dream and woke up with the ability to do sky magic. Kinda reminds me of Jason) and Rayla (who was about to reveal something before Callum woke up. Interesting) into her homeland of Xadia.

When we reached the Xadian border we were confronted by a Giant dragon. With a head shaped like a crown. "Oh no" Rayla said "What?" I asked "It's Sol Regem" "Who?" Callum asked "He was king of the dragons before the wars started. Now he's just a symbol of bitterness and hate" "What happened to his eyes" I asked. Where his eyes should have been was a terrible scar "He was blinded by the first human to learn dark magic" "Well that doesn't bode well"

Rayla turned to me "How stealthy are you?" She asked. I told her "You don't live as long as I have, doing what I do if your not" "Good" then she turned to Callum "Callum. Your about to get your first lesson in the art of stealth" She then explained the basics of sneaking around your enemies or out of your moms apartment when she starts talking to you and your girlfriend about marriage and grandkids. But enough about my dinner last Saturday night, Hey It's not like I don't think about that stuff but- I'm getting off topic here.

Zym started whimpering. "Callum" I said "Can you keep him quiet?" "I'm trying" he said "Ez would know how to calm you down, wouldn't he? Well we'll just have to trust each other" He said soo confidently. "Great" i said "I feel so much better"

Then slowly we made our way across the chasm. We were about half way there when Sol Regem sniffed the air. We stopped short. Then he turned his head the other way. We exhaled and continued our way forward.

Everything was going well until Zym got scared. He jumped out of Callums arms and bolted back to the rock we were previously hiding behind.

Sol Regem got suspicious and started sniffing around.

My heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest.

The dragon moved around a little. Then Rayla threw a rock and he turned his attention over there.

I was hopeful when Zym started crawling back to us.

But then Sol Regem caught wide to us.

His neck started to glow and he roared. "RUN!" I yelled.

Fire was shot at us from behind. We were lucky to make it to the rock.

"Well," Callum said "Sneaking is out, Running is out, Fighting is out. What's left?" "Burning to death?" Rayla said "Definitely out" I said.

Rayla looked over the rock and sighed "Well" She said "Looks like its time for my least favorite course of action. Reason" she left the cover of the rock. She walked slowly and said "Mighty Sol Regem, I am Rayla of the moon shadow elves" she bowed. "What are you doing?" The dragon asked "Uhh, bowing my lord" Rayla said "No" Sol Regem said "Why are you here?" Rayla stood up. "We have been traveling" She said "Across the human kingdoms on the business of Zubeia, the dragon queen. We humbly ask your permission to cross into Xadia" "What kind of business would send you to the wretched human lands?" The dragon asked "We are transporting something precious, someone precious. The dragon prince Azymondias!" "LIES!! You dare lie to me. The egg of the dragon king, was DESTROYED" "No, wait I have him here"

Rayla ran back to the rock and tried to grab Zym who squirmed around. "No, no, no Rayla" I whispered "This is a bad idea" she didn't listen and grabbed Zym and presented him to Sol Regem "The dragon prince lives" she said "And he's very cute" Regem sniffed the air "Impossible" he said "So please, let us pass so we can reunite him with his mother" the dragon considered this "How the dragon prince came into the human lands, I do not know. I will allow you to pass" he said "However the wretched human must die" "What?!" Rayla asked "No, he's different. And don't you mean humans?" "No" Regem answered "You, The dragon prince and the demigod may pass" "Demigod?" Callum asked "How do you know that!?" I demanded "I am very old and very wise" Regem answered "You think I would not recognize the smell of a demigod?" "Huh" I said

"But Callum is different" Rayla insisted "When we met, he could have had me captured or killed. But he didn't. He saw past human propaganda and saw me for who I am. Not what I am" Callum and I walked towards Rayla. Callum and I each took a hand. "So please" Rayla pleaded "Let us pass"

Regem smelled us. "I smell DEATH" he said "No, he's different" "He has used dark magic. He is no different. Very well, you will all die" his neck glowed once again. "Uh oh" I said. "Run!" Callum said.

After we took cover again we debated our course of action. Callum was willing to give himself up. I suggested a suicidal last stand where I distract him long enough for them to escape. Rayla however was smarter than both of us. She explained her plan.

She was going to use Callums scarf to lure him away, then I was going to taunt him, then Callum was going to use a wind spell to make him think he was standing behind an arch.

Everything went according to plan. Sol Regem was trapped because of his big ass head.

We continued our journey. Xadia was a beautiful place. With tons of creatures and plants I'd never heard of or seen before.

It turns out Rayla had been banished from her village because they all thought she was a coward when in actuality she was brave in helping Callum.

We then had to cross this place called the midnight desert. Very hot, very dangerous.

We were originally going to go around it but this blue chick named Nyx offered to take us across on her giraffe thing.

Little did we know her real intention was to kidnap Zym while I was asleep and Rayla and Callum were doing something. "I'm a deep sleeper" I said while they were yelling at me "What were you two doing anyway?" They looked at each other embarrassed "None of you business" Rayla snapped at me. Her cheeks turned red. "Uh-huh" I said "Look your not helping" Rayla snapped again "I am not here help, I am here to mock" I said "What?" Callum asked "Oh, forget it" I said "Are we going or what?" They nodded.

We ended up catching up to Nyx only because her Giraffe thing was stuck.

We had her cornered but then "Aren't you forgetting something?" She said "Forgetting what?" Callum asked She spread her wings and jumped. Right, did I forget to mention she was a sky elf and had wings? Why do I keep forgetting that.

Anyway she was about to get away, when lightning sparked off her. "Yes!" I yelled. Zym was defending himself.

When we recovered Zym, Rayla saved Nyx from a bunch of soul sucking snakes.

I wanted to leave her for dead but whatever.

Later that night I figured out what Rayla and Callum were doing.

"Why?" Nyx asked "After all I did to you, why would you save me? It's because I'm charming isn't it? No matter what you can't help but like me?" "Nope" Rayla said "I do not like you" "Oh" Nyx said "Then why?" There was a pause "It's because Rayla's a hero" Callum said "It's because it was the right thing to do. She's smart and brave and beautiful. She helps people and doesn't except anything in return. That's what makes her a hero. That's what makes her, Rayla" they drew closer together "You are so" Callum started. Then he kissed her. Rayla was shocked at first but then she kissed him back. But then Callum pulled away. "I-I'm sorry" he said I just got caught up in the moment and my lips got ahead of me-" "Shut up" Rayla interrupted "What?" Callum asked. Rayla pulled him closer and kissed him.

"That's nice" I said "Anyway I'm just going to go to sleep"
