(Japan, Dagobah Beach)
(Before the day of U.A. Entrance Exam)
Dagobah beach was a place that no one even tried to visit. The beach wasn't bad. It was located in a pretty tranquil place far from the main city of Musutafu, and the view of the sunrise was always great there. But the reason why people avoided this place was simple. It was full of garbage and waste. Because of the waste filling the entire beach, people tended to avoid the place, and the amount of waste increased over time.

Now, Dagobah beach regained its clean state once again. The waste was almost completely gone, only leaving the beautiful shore. And, on top of the shore…
There stood a boy with a messy, green hair.
And also a muscular man with a bizarre, blonde hair.
"Hmm! Young Midoriya! We finally arrived on the day before the big exam! So…How do you feel?" Asked All Might, the greatest hero of Japan.
"Uh…I…Uh…I don't know…It's like…all over the place. Nervous…and…nervous…and…nervous." The green-haired boy, Midoriya Izuku, answered his master.
"Nervous? HAHAHAHAHAH! After all that hard training, you managed to turn into a strong man on the outside, but it seems you didn't changed a bit on the inside! Which is…Not bad at all! It means you didn't forget your origins! Anyway…do you know why did I call you this morning?"
"Um…I just ran out because…you called? I mean, I've spent a year with you, but you're still All Might." Midoriya answered, rubbing his back of his neck.
"Indeed! And there is one reason I called you today! To give you some pep talk before the big day, and to finally give my quirk, 'One For All', to you!" All Might presented proudly.
"Uh…I believe that was two reasons instead of one…Anyway, why today? Isn't the entrance exam tomorrow?"
"Hmm! Because! What if you explode when I gave you the quirk tomorrow?"
"What….?"
"Joking. Actually, it's to help your body adapt to the quirk! It takes some time to get used to it!"
"Then…How do I receive the quirk…?"
"I waited for that question."
"I always wanted to say this since day one…" All Might said as he plucked a strand of hair from his head.
"EAT THIS."
"The…f….?"
"EAT THIS."
"Wha…..?"
"Come on! Young Midoriya, don't spoil the fun! EAT THIS!" All Might shouted.
Midoriya's eyes were trembling. He'd never seen this level of madness before. But…his hands were automatically heading to the strand of hair, and his mouth was slowly opening.
"Okay…one…two…three!" After the countdown he made just to motivate himself to do the inevitable, he put the hair inside his mouth…and…
Swallowed it.
A bizarre taste similar to a lemon spread across his tongue, and his throat started to feel extremely itchy. He started to cough, just like a cat with a hairball stuck in its throat. After coughing like a minute, he finally settled down.
"Well, how does it feel?"
"All Might…did you wash your hair this morning….?"
"Uh…Hmm….I was in a hurry this morning, so…."
"Probably…."
"No."
"WHAT? Oh my…What the…Holy… Then…did I just swallow…the hair that was…" Midoriya stuttered, with an expression of shock on his face.
"Uh…um…Sorry…?" All Might suddenly turned soft. While they had an ordeal about that particular unwashed hair, the phone inside his jacket started to ring.
"A PHONE CALL IS HERE! A PHONE CALL IS HERE!"
'Is that…his ringtone….?'
"Hello? Yes? Uh…yes. I'll be right there!"
"What is it?" Midoriya asked with anticipation.
"Apparently, some moron decided to do some crazy stuff even though I'm in town! Which means…! It's time to go! So…then, Young Midoriya, is it okay for me to leave a bit early?"
"Of Course! I'm always up to All Might's actions!" Midoriya answered with a smile, and All Might replied with the signature smile.
"Okay then! Oh, one last thing before I leave. Don't push yourself too hard today! Since tomorrow is the big day, and there's more than the practical exam tomorrow! I suggest you train lightly and have some good rest today! Understand?"
"Got it! Then see you tomorrow, All Might!"
"Will do! And now…Hasta La Vista!" All Might shouted as he jumped, no, flew away. Midoriya stared at the sky while All Might vanished from his eyes. Even though he was gone, his voice still echoed in his ears.
"That's the All Might I know…" The spirit of the No.1 fan of the No.1 hero was slowly rising. As his hero vanished from his eyes, he slowly turned towards the beach to appreciate the sunrise. It was a beautiful scenery as always. Since he cleared out almost all of the trash filling the beach, he developed a hobby of watching the sunrise while training. He loved every part of it. The sound of waves hitting the shore, the color of the pristine seawater, the slowly rising morning sun, and someone drowning…
Someone drowning?
Midoriya doubted his eyes. There was indeed, someone drowning in the sea. He didn't have a peak eyesight, but it was clearly visible.
'What the heck is that…? That's clearly not a buoy or something…it must be a person…is it…corpse? Why is it not moving? It's just helplessly floating away!' As he opened his eyes wide to take a better look, he suddenly thought of someone.
All Might.
The greatest hero of Japan, his role model, and his master.
Why did he wanted to be a hero in the first place?
Because of him.
Then what does a hero do in this kind of situation?
Midoriya clenched his fists.
And there was no time to lose.
'No, no, hell no. Why am I even hesitating? What am I, a coward? I'm training with the mightiest hero of Japan, and I can't even save a drowning person in the ocean? I even learned swimming during training! Okay…time to go now! Please be alive…!' Midoriya removed his top and immediately ran towards the sea. The water was ice-cold since it was still winter, but the water wasn't enough to cool down the burning passion of a hero wannabe. With a magnificent dive, he jumped into the sea, and started swimming toward the person. After some time, he arrived at the site.
"Hah…hah…hey! Are you okay? Uh…are you even alive? Wait, I was not gonna say that…anyway…are you alright? Do you hear me?" The person didn't answer. To check the situation, he swam closer. As he came an inch close to the person, he could finally see what was happening.
The drowning person was a woman with long, green hair. And she didn't seem to be older than Midoriya. Well, he couldn't properly see her face, but he guessed it. While scanning her, he noticed something strange. She wasn't wearing anything. She wasn't completely naked, but she didn't have any clothes on except for the bandages wrapping her breasts and her hips. Midoriya lightly poked her in the shoulder.
No movement.
'Well, she's unconscious. One mystery solved. But how in the world is she floating this stably even though she's unconscious? And why the hell is she half-naked? I…have some questions to ask this girl when she wakes up… Oh, yeah. She needs to be out of the water to wake up! Focus, me, focus!' Midoriya took a deep breath, and grabbed the girl's arm to carry her back to the shore. She was pretty light, so the carry wasn't that hard.
After some intense swimming, Midoriya and the green girl finally reached land. As they came out from the water, the freezing wind attacked them. To gain some heat, Midoriya quickly shook off the moisture on his body and quickly put on his shirt he tossed away before he entered the water. Now that he regained some body heat, he returned to the girl he carried to the shore. She was lying down on the sand, still unconscious. But since she was lying down, Midoriya could finally see her face.
'Woah…she does have a pretty face…' Midoriya thought by himself as he scanned the girl's face. Even though she was drowning seconds ago, she looked like a baby sound asleep. She didn't show any signs of discomfort. After checking her face, Midoriya looked down to check her body. There was nothing special if being half-naked was a normal thing. Except for…the small wooden box she was holding.
'Huh, a box? Why is she holding that, anyway? Well, it looks pretty light, maybe she used it to float on the water? I wonder what's in there….' Midoriya thought while reaching the box. He tried to take it, but the girl was holding on to the box with immense strength, so he gave up on that.
'She's pretty strong… But why did she drown there? Did she get assaulted by a yakuza or something…? If that's the case…is she alive…?' Concerned about the girl's survival, he put his ear on her chest to check her heartbeat. Thankfully, she was not dead. He could sense a weak heartbeat.
'She's alive! Okay then, to make her regain consciousness…I need heat. Heat….heat…oh yeah!' Midoriya then quickly took off his shirt and put it on her like a blanket. Yes, the source of heat he thought of was the shirt he just put on. Putting his shirt on her, Midoriya expected the girl to wake up. Well, he was half right.
The girl started to shiver when he gave her his shirt. And after a bit, her eyes slightly opened.
"Ugh…" She moaned in discomfort, still not woken up. Midoriya did not miss this opportunity.
"Oh! Did you wake up? All you alright? Can you sit up?" Midoriya said, shaking her body a bit. The girl did not respond with a word. Instead, she responded with a violent cough.
"Huh…? Are…you…" Before Midoriya could even say a word, she started vomiting as she coughed uncontrollably.
'What the…why is she suddenly thowing up…? Oh, yeah…the water….' Figured out the cause of her vomiting, he rose her up and patted her back to help her. After a few more episodes of coughing up water, her condition finally stabilized. Even though she was still breathing heavily after all that.
"Um…you alright?..." Midoriya asked for like the tenth time. The girl also didn't answer for like the tenth time. Instead, she just silently stared at Midoriya with her green eyes. Midoriya froze at her gaze. Yes, he was never accustomed to a girl staring at him this close, but unlike a regular girl's stare, her stare had a really eerie feeling. It felt more like a death stare.
'Okay...that's pretty creepy… But hey! She has green eyes! Same as mine!'
'…..'
'Focus, Izuku! Focus! Why am I getting distracted today! Wait…what's that on her chin…?' Midoriya's eyes now focused on her chin. And his focus moved to her mouth. Which was forming a weak smile, and…drooling. Midoriya flinched. Not because he was startled at the sight of the girl suddenly drooling. It was his instinct. His natural instinct as an animal called Homo Sapiens. It was a primitive sensation. The sensation of being a prey.
In simple…
The girl suddenly felt like a predator.
Slowly and steadily, Midoriya started to back up. Making some distance seemed safe. As he was like a meter apart from her…
She disappeared.
And…
Midoriya felt a sharp pain in his shoulder.
"AAAAAAAAARGGGHHHHH!" Midoriya screamed, as he felt the flesh of his shoulder being torn off. She had deeply bitten into his shoulder and tore off a part of it. Blood burst from his torn shoulder, and it never seemed to stop. Witnessing, and experiencing the shocking event, he glanced at the girl. She had his flesh inside her mouth, and her sharp fangs were now totally visible.
Midoriya was more than shocked right now. He was so shocked, that he forgot about the immense pain emanating from his shoulder. He just froze there. Helplessly watching the girl chewing a part of himself and swallowing it. The girl formed a big smile and a blush after she swallowed his flesh. And with that smile, her right eye turned black. Her sclera was now pitch black, and her pupils were almost bloody red. At the first time, he thought it was her quirk.
But hell no. No quirk would make the user eat people.
'What the…what the….WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED? Did she…just eat me? Why? How? Like…WHY? Is that a new type of quirk that some crazy scientist made? Or is she just a cannibal who just likes eating people? Moreover…WHAT THE HELL WAS SHE DOING FLOATING ON THE GOD DAMN OCEAN!? Okay, I'm screwed. I'm severely screwed. I'm FUCKING screwed. I need…a doctor! No, police! No, a hero! Come on, WHERE'S ALL MIGHT WHEN YOU NEED HIM?!' In terror and panic, he started to run away at full speed. This was a life-threatening situation now.
However…
His run didn't turn well.
He ran into something as he ran away. Yes, it was the girl. And now she was something totally different. She still had the terrifying eyes, and she had something coming out of her shoulders. It looked really chaotic and didn't have a fixed shape. But it resembled a wing to his eyes. Not a pretty angel's one. But more like a devil's.
'What…the fuck…is that…? And why is she so fast…? I…was in my full…speed…?' As Midoriya was on a verge of mumbling and thinking, she started to change again. She really didn't give Midoriya the time to think or act. The mysterious thing coming out of her shoulders started to emerge from the rest of the body. And it quickly grew its size, forming a shape of a monster. A one-eyed monster that he'd never seen anywhere. And the monster kept growing and growing.
"Holy….shi….t? AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Midoriya screamed as he was lifted by the monster grabbing him. The monster hung him over its mouth and opened it.
His doom was near.
'I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die! What should I do, what should I do? What should I…. Oh! Yeah! One For All! The quirk All Might gave me! I could use that to my advan…'
'Fuck.'
'HE NEVER TOLD ME HOW TO USE IT! GOD FUCKING DAMMIT, ALL MIGHT! GOD DAMMIT!'
The monster lowered its hands.
'Okay, One For All is All Might's quirk…and what represents All Might is….'
'SMASH! Okay, this is my only chance… It's do or die…!' Midoriya focused all of his energy to his fists, and shouted.
"SMAS…!"
But it never lasted.
With a big chomp, Midoriya was inside the monster's mouth. To properly eat him, the monster chewed him for a moment, and…
Swallowed him.
Only silence remained on the beach.
The monster slowly approached the shore and upchucked something from its mouth. It was the poor boy's clothes. The bloodstained clothes. It held the material it upchucked a second ago, and threw it far away to the sea. Seeing the clothes floating away, the monster sighed.
After the monster's breathing stabilized, it started to glow. And with the light emanating from it, the monster's body dissolved. Only leaving a green-haired girl. She was almost naked. Only having bandages around her breasts and hips. Unlike before, her face had the vitality she had lost because of the intense hunger. And she had a smile on her face. Not the creepy, scary one, but a cute, satisfied one.
Her name, was Yoshimura Eto.
Her another name, was the 'One-Eyed Owl'.
She was a ghoul. A human-like being that devours human to continue its existence. And she was one of the strongest of her kind.
But there was one thing different with her.
