Hi everyone, so this time as well I am not able to post frequently as I am in the middle of projects and exams and my laptop's hinge is broken and I will have to send it for servicing next week. Sorry for the late story once again. I recommend hearing to Traitor by Olivia Rodrigo while reading this chapter…. Well at least the "YOU BETRAYED ME" part ;P Anyways, here is your fourth chapter. Hope you enjoy!

I felt a crappy feeling coming up my chest. I thought Hiccup will always stay by my side, but in just a few days he trusts that Heather more than me. He BETRAYED me, Not even thinking about how I feel. I felt a tear slide down my cheek, how much ever I tried I couldn't stop them. I walked home, trying to forget what just happened. Once I reached home, I tried not to run into my parents, it had been a long day and the only thing I wanted to do was forget it. I went up the stairs into my room and laid on my bed staring at the ceiling. I couldn't stop myself from thinking about what had happened today when I was interrupted by a loud bang coming from the stables. I ran to the stables to see Heather feeding Stormfly.

"What are you doing with my dragon?" I spoke. "Ugh, you really like to sneak up on people" she said, her words poisonous. "Only the ones who deserve it and don't give me your innocent routine" I said, furious. "I wouldn't think of it, your way too smart for that, Astrid" she said, slyly. Stormfly nudged her as she petted her. "I think your dragon likes me" she said, viciously as she passed by me. "See you later Stormfly" she said turning towards my dragon. "Really, where's the loyalty?" I said disappointed in Stormfly. I fumed with anger as I stomped towards the forest to blow off steam.

I threw and pulled my axe out of the tree as the sapling snapped into perfect halves. "HEATHER!" I shouted furiously as I threw my axe pointed to another tree. "I think your dragon likes me" I said in my best cheesy voice. "Ughhgh, no one messes with me and my friends" I said as I pulled my axe out of the tree. I heard something and turned back to see Heather walking by. I hid behind a tree, thankfully she hadn't seen me. I followed her to the beach where she sat on a log. "This is stupid" I said, turning to leave. Suddenly I saw a boat coming towards the shore. "Wait" I said, examining the boat carefully. "That's an outcast boat" I spoke. "Savage" I said, as I realized who was talking to Heather.

"What have you learnt about the dragons" he said. "I've learnt a lot, Savage, but there's something else that's gonna make Alvin very happy" she said. "I'm listening," said Savage. I leaned in to hear better. "They have a book, a book of dragons. It's got everything in it, everything Alvin will learn about controlling dragons" She explained. "Where is this book?" asked Savage. "Uh, I don't have it, but I will I promise. I just I just need a little more time," said Heather. "Alvin isn't known for his patience; he won't be happy having to wait" he said.

"Please, you have to trust me, when I get back to Outcast Island with the book the wait will be worth it" she tried to convince. I leaned further and knocked of some rocks. Both Heather and Savage turned back, I immediately hid behind a tree. "I better go" said Heather as turned towards Savage. I saw Heather and the outcast leave in their directions. I ran straight to Hiccup house to show him the real Heather. I kicked his door open as I knew Hiccup was sleeping downstairs. Toothless growled as I woke the jet-black dragon, knowing it is me he tried to go back to sleep. "Wake up!" I whispered harshly as I kicked Hiccup awake. "Ugh. What! Why would you do that?! What are you doing?!" He said (more like screamed). "Saving our butts. I just saw Heather talking to Savage, she's working with the outcasts!" I explained. "What?! She's upstairs sleeping" he said. "Oh yeah, let's go find out" I said. We climbed the flight of stairs to Hiccup's room to a sleeping Heather.

"Hey guys, is everything okay?" she yawned, looking like she just woke up. "Yes Heather, everything's fine" he said looking at me. I gave him a "Why are you looking at me she's the culprit" look. He took me back outside. "Astrid, don't you think it's possible you saw something else? I mean it's pretty dark out there" he spoke. "I know what I saw, the girl is not who you think it is" I said. "So, who is she?!" he asked rather impatiently. "I I don't know, nobody knows. She just mysteriously washed up on our beach. You don't find that strange?!" I said, dragging my words. "No, because her ship was taken over by pirates. Her whole island is under siege!" he said. "The only thing under siege is your brain! You're not thinking clearly" I shouted furiously. "Oh, really me?" he spoke sarcastically. "Hiccup! The outcasts could be attacking any minute!" I shouted while also being the voice of reason. "Astrid, if there's one thing, I know it's this, Heather is not working with the outcasts" he said, stabbing another knife into my heart before the last wound could heal. I felt a tear slip through my eye and onto my cheek. "Astrid are you…." he said, interrupted. "It's fine. I'm done. See you tomorrow." I whispered harshly. By the time he tried to stop me, I was long gone. Once I was far enough, I stopped running and slowly walked home.

So, I hope you enjoyed this one. I tried to make this a little longer. Maybe in the next chapter I will include a Hiccup's POV. I'll try to post the next chapter soon, till then Bye!
