This chapter has finally been made when I had small breaks between studying. So, hi guys I finally made the 5th chapter! I am doing this between term exams in which I got 48 chapters to study in math! Thankfully my math exam is done. But I'm still in between exams so this may be the last chapter for September, but don't worry I will be updating regularly in October! So, this is your fifth chapter. Hope you enjoy!
Hiccup's POV
I saw a tear slip through her eye and onto her cheek. I was too shocked to even respond. My body went numb when I realized what just happened. I was speechless. I had never seen her cry before, so deeply hurt. I tried to find the words but when I opened my mouth there was no sound that came out of it. "Astrid, are you…..." I finally tried to say when I was interrupted by her. "It's fine. I'm done. See you tomorrow." She whispered harshly. I tried to comprehend everything around me as it went blur. Once I got hold of my senses, I reminded myself to stop her. By the time I tried to stop her she was long gone. I stood there for which seemed like hours before my dad ascended from my house most likely to go to work. "Good Morni'n son, your wake early" dad said.
"Good morning dad. I was talking to Astrid about something. Before I knew it was already dawn" I said. "Hmmm. Was there an argument between you two? The last time I saw her she looked very tired and depressed. What's wrong son?" he asked, worry lacing his voice. I took a deep breath and spoke. "Yes, we did have an argument. It was over Heather. Astrid thinks that Heather is working with the outcasts and I have no idea who to believe" I said. "Son, you should most likely go to Astrid and solve your problems. I think she takes everything you say to heart and is very hurt. But before that have breakfast and get Heather to have some too." He spoke. "Sure, dad. Thank you for helping" I said. "My pleasure son" he said. I went back home to wake Heather. I reached up to my room and saw her gone. I ignored it knowing that she would have just gone to the plaza for a walk. I had breakfast and waited for my dad to come home so that I could go to the academy. Dad reached home and as my normal instinct I gave him a block of ice for his head. Later, it was time for me to go to the academy when I couldn't find the Book of Dragons! "Dad! Have you seen the book?" I asked. "You'll have to be more specific son" he said. "The book of dragons, I can't find it anywhe- "I said but was interrupted by Astrid bursting through the door.
Astrid's POV
I couldn't sleep that night. No matter how tired I was I couldn't sleep. I had my eyes wide open the whole night with not a wink. Before I knew it the sun rose and I expected Stormfly to peek through the window asking me to take her for a ride. But there was no sign of her. I decided to look outside but she was nowhere to be found. I went to the stables to see a piece of cloth hung by Stormfly's spine. I instantly noticed who it belonged to. Heather, the only name that came across my mind when I saw the beige cloth. I ran towards Hiccup's house fuming with anger. I threw the door open not even caring the chief was Infront of me. "She's gone!" I shouted right out. "Heather?!" he asked. "No! Stormfly! Little Miss Innocent! Stole my dragon!" I shouted with rage. I saw a scowl or glare (I don't know) build up on his face. "Come on, gather the others and meet me on the shore"
I quickly ran to get the others and bought them straight to the shore. Hiccup already waiting for us. "Oh, this is bad, this is bad this is bad, this is catastrophic! If Alvin gets that book!" Fishlegs shouted in fear. "He won't!" said Hiccup interrupting Fishlegs. "Heather, I can't believe it" Hiccup whispered disappointed. "Me either. How could she walk away from this!" said Snotlout gesturing towards himself. "How could I have not seen it?!" said Hiccup almost disappointed in himself. "Because your brain was under siege" said Tuffnut, trying to copy what I had said previously. "Do you even know what that means?" said Hiccup unamused. "Yes? No? It's not good right?" asked Tuffnut, which I readily answered. "No! It's not good" I said looking towards Hiccup while mounting Toothless. "Astrid look- "he tried to say but was interrupted. "Save it. You can apologize when you get me my dragon back" I said. "Alright let's go, we can't let her reach Outcast Island" he said, mounting in front of me.
After fifteen minutes of flying, we finally caught up with her. She was (obviously) struggling to ride Stormfly. "We're never gonna catch them! Stormfly is too fast!" I spoke, knowing chicken makes Stormfly way to fast to catch. "When you're riding her, definitely. But not with a stranger." He spoke. "What's that up ahead?" asked Snotlout. "It's Heather and is she ever gonna be sorry she held me with Toothless's speed." He spoke. We shot swiftly into the sky towards Heather. "I'll get you in close" he said when we reached beside Heather. But then Heather got a piece of chicken from her bag and fed it to Stormfly. "I..is that chicken, is that what you've bee- "he said. "Really? you want to talk about this now?" I said when Heather flew faster with Stormfly. We followed her till Hiccup told "I'm gonna pull right over her". We flew above her as I stood up on Toothless. "Ok, ok hold him steady" I told him, as I jumped onto Stormfly. "Going somewhere?" I said, as I tried to grab her hands, she pushed me back. I grabbed onto Stormfly's tail. "Stormfly, tail flip" I said, as she put me back on her back. I faintly heard Tuffnut saying "This is going to be Awesome".
I held her hands as she tried to break free from my hold. I faintly heard Fishlegs say "Ahh Hiccup I really hate to be the voice of doom but we just crossed into Outcast waters". "Hey…. Astrid you might wanna move this along," said Hiccup. "Ugh, give me a minute, she's stronger than she looks" I said, while I was struggled with her as she jabbed my jaw. I saw catapults firing huge boulders at us as I tried to take control of Stormfly. "Uhm Astrid" he said. I tried to look at him as Heather choked me. I tried get out of her hold. I took hold on her arms one by one. "DON'T-YOU-TOUCH-MY-DRAGON-AGAIN!" I shouted, as I got out of her hold and she fell back into the sky. I tried to get hold of her but failed. "I'm going after the girl" said Snotlout as he dove to catch Heather. "And I'm going after the book" said Hiccup as he too dove down to get the book. He dove deeper and deeper dodging every boulder coming his way until one came way too close and we lost the book. We retreated back. We all went silent. "Please tell you got it?" said Fishlegs. "I was too late. Alvin has the book of dragon." He said, his voice breaking. We flew the rest of the way in silence.
Dun, Dun, Duunnn. I finally finished the first episode of Heather Report! This might be my longest chapter yet. I also wanted to talk to you people about something. So, as you know I haven't written for a few weeks. I found a series called Dragon Prince on Netflix. So, I'm planning to write a crossover between the to fandoms after I finish this story.
