OH MY GOD! I can't believe I haven't written for soo long. I'm sooooo sorry, my laptop has continued issues and this is a temporary laptop I'm working with. As usual I have continuous exams which don't give me a second to breathe. I was also having a huge writers block during the time I couldn't update. I finally overcame it! Hopefully I will be able to update more often. Again, I'm so sorry for making you wait for so long. I'm trying my best to keep updating. Btw, I cleared the first and second round of the dance competition! I had the live performance on Jan 5th! Unfortunately, I didn't clear to the final round. But no worries! Hope you enjoy my new chapter!
Heather fell down onto the floor of the prison. "Give it up Heather!" I said as I closed the cell door. "We have dragons" I continued, crossing my arms. "Astrid, I have to get back to outcast island" she said. "Oh, I bet you do" I said, not amused. "You don't understand, Alvin has my parents!" she said, holding onto the cell bars. "Oh yeah? What happened to the pirates?" I scoffed. "There were never any pirates, I made it up. I had to, I needed you to trust me" she said in her sad story telling voice. "Well guess what? We don't" I said, turning to go back. "Not anymore" I continued to walk away. After a silent walk I reached at the plaza, where my friends stood. "So, gang any ideas on how we can get the book of dragons back?" said Hiccup. "Me! Me! Me!" said Tuff. "Okay Tuff, go ahead" he said. "We'll set the entire island on fire!" said Tuff. "Which will lead to the book burning too" said Fishlegs, in a nonsense way, before Hiccup could say anything.
"H-hey Astrid" said Hiccup, as he turned behind finally noticing me while the others argued. "Hey" I answered, with a deadpan expression. "So umm, anyone else have any ideas?" said Hiccup, looking away from me and towards the others. "I think we should storm the island, go in a show of power" shouted Snotlout. "You want to storm the island after what just happened?" Fishlegs rolled his eyes. "There's no way we will be able to get past the outer defenses". "What's the matter, Fishface, you scared?" mocked Snotlout. "There's no shame in realizing that storming outcast island is a suicide mission" retorted Fishlegs. "Well, do you have a better idea?" Snotlout asked. "Come on guys, we're supposed to search calmly for a solution" said Hiccup, wearily. "Astrid, any ideas?" he asked me, as his only option. "Oh great, now my opinion matters" I said, sarcastically. Even his sarcasm is rubbing off on me I thought, frustrated. Even when I'm mad at him, I can't help but feel guilty when I notice him wincing at my words. "I'm so sorry, Astrid. I know I messed up. I should've just believed you. I just thought maybe your emotions were getting in the way of your judge- "he tried saying but was cut off. "My emotions?" I said, furiously, cutting him off. "I may have thought that maybe just maybe that you were maybe just a tiny little bit jealous" he said, almost curling into a ball. "JEALOUS? You thought I was jealous of you and that skinny little traitor. Even worse you thought that I would lie that she was working with outcasts just because I was jealous? I never thought you would think I'm this shallow" I said in pure anger and remorse. "Astrid ple- "he told. "Hiccup please, stop. I can't argue with you right now. Let's just all go home, it's getting late anyways" I said, looking at ground, turning to leave. "Bye, see you later"
Hey! Hopefully this update was bigger than last one. As I've gotten over my writer's block, I'm getting a lot of Ideas to further continue this story. My summer vacations are starting from April 8th so hopefully I'll at the least be updating twice a week at that time. Right now, I'm literally in the middle of my final exams so I doubt I will be able to post again before April 8th, But I'll try my best. Hope you enjoyed this chapter!
