I had to get this one out before Season 5 comes out because that season ages Periwinkle up to about three and I AM SO SAD ABOUT THAT.

"Come on, say it; 'My uncle is an Octonaut'."
Shellington's nephew Periwinkle was visiting the Octopod, and he and his friends were trying to get him to talk.
"You said he can say how many words at a time, now?" Sarabi asked.
"Two or three," said Shellington, "but not in complete sentences. Might as well get the ball rolling."
"Maybe we should get him to say short sentences first," said Dashi. "Say 'I like urchins'."
"Say 'I am small'," said Kwazii.
"Say 'my uncle's a big nerd'," joked Sarabi.
"I wike urchies," said Periwinkle.
"Very good," said Shellington, just as Deborah was entering the room. "Ooh, can you say it again for your aunt Deborah?"
Periwinkle stared up at Deborah for a moment, then grinned and told her, "I'm small."
"That he is," said Kwazii as Deborah picked Periwinkle up.
"You g'a be n'Occonaut wike m'unka Shewwyton?" Periwinkle asked Deborah.
"Wow. I think that's the most I've ever heard him say at once," said Sarabi.
"I am an Octonaut," said Deborah to Periwinkle, "just not a full one."
"Hey, speaking of which, what happens when we get promoted to full-fledged Octonauts?" Sarabi asked.
"Well," said Dashi, "you would be able to go on missions by yourself without someone with you."
"Sounds good," said Sarabi.
Periwinkle squirmed a bit, and Deborah put him down. He toddled over to the beanbag chair where Sarabi was sitting.
"You wanna be independent too, huh?" Sarabi asked the toddler. "Yeah, I bet you can't wait to be able to do things by yourself."
"Hey, Peri," said Shellington, trying to get his nephew to come back over to him, "who's your favourite?"
Periwinkle pointed his paw. "Sawabi!"
At that point, Kwazii burst into fits of laughter so strong, he fell onto the floor.
"Are you okay?!" Deborah asked through giggles.
Kwazii couldn't respond; he was laughing too hard. Shellington simply sat there with a defeated look on his face.
"You heard him, nerdboy," said Sarabi, picking Periwinkle up, "I'm the favourite."
Periwinkle only laughed.
